Went there for my birthday, first time trying Teppanyaki and I was enjoying it!

The food was delicious, but the bar setup made it difficult to communicate with people not sitting right next to you.

The food was delicious and more than enough. It was great to see the chef at work. For the prices charged, the napkins and placemats should have been made of real cloth. That would make us overlook the plastic soup bowls.

We come here regularly, so now it's time for a review with photos. Previously, the plates were practically empty before I could even take a picture. That says it all, really. The staff is friendly, the service is fast, and the food is good and delicious.

The tablet ordering system was difficult, with only four dishes per round, placed at 15-minute intervals for a maximum of two hours. The quality was good, but the selection wasn't spectacular due to the price. The service was friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. Reasonable value for money.

Quality of food is really terrible. The best chef Can't make a good dish from bad meat or fish. The best point was that the table Next to us ordered two bottles of wine and two half bottles were poured together. And sold as new. This shows how seriously the owner takes his guests. I paid €84.5 for teppanyaki and I seriously wonder what exactly. For four people we spent a total of €338 – and that for a few plates with some grass, literally. A small plate of lettuce, some rice and a few vegetables, a baby band full of meat… that was it. My plate was empty within 20 seconds every time, and then I had to wait fifteen minutes for the next dish. Always empty plates, always waiting. For someone with a normal appetite this is really impossible. Fortunately the atmosphere was good because I was with friends – otherwise I probably would have fallen asleep. The food tasted fine in itself, that's not the problem, but the amount is really ridiculous for what you pay. To be honest, I felt a bit like a cow that was fed portion by portion. Price and portion are completely out of proportion. For this price you really expect more. I finished my portion faster than the chef would have spread food over all the plates.

We took the buffet. There was hardly anything going on where we were, so we always got our food very quickly. Overall the service was very good. The food is just like a buffet, very tasty. But what's really good is the selection. You can try out a lot and you'll be more than satisfied. A little more expensive but still ok.

Sushi was great, they didn’t over do it with rice and the rice in the sushi tasted fluffy.

We wanted to have a night out at the teppanyaki restaurant. We'd booked a 6 p.m. dinner, and we were back in the car by 7:30. The chef was in a bit of a hurry...what a shame! You were still working on one dish, and the next was already ready.

Overall was it a very nice experience celebrating a birthday. Food was perfect, only the "Saint Jacobs mussels was not properly done,still cold, but ok. The only negative point was that ONLY one waitress was for 4 big groups, drinks took long not often past by to make additional orders. But she did everything also she prepared the desert this why only giving 3 stars.

We went here for two birthdays with the family. In this case, "het plat" (plate-style), as it's called. It was the first time for the grandchildren, and it was quite an exciting experience. I don't know exactly what it was, but the atmosphere in the room was a bit lacking at first. Perhaps it was the lack of atmospheric music, which was played later in the evening. The chef's skill is a treat in itself and betrays a long experience. The downside of "het plat" (plate-style) dining is that you sit next to each other, which limits social interaction. The waitress went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. She was kind to the children and friendly to the other guests. The menu offers a wide selection of fish, meat, and vegetarian options. Prices range from approximately €45 to €90 per person. This is mainly due to the number of courses, as the quality is excellent in all cases. The most expensive dishes are mainly for the expensive fish, such as lobster. All in all, we had a pleasant evening.

Entertainment and good food, what else do you need? It's been a long time since I've eaten at a teppanyaki restaurant, and I remember the service being much tighter than this. It was difficult to order drinks and the food is sometimes thrown directly onto your own plate; That's what the two extra plates on the edge of the grill are for, right? And other times those signs are used for that; so a bit chaotic. We did have some contact with the chef; especially about which ingredients were added and for what purpose. Almost 5 stars as far as I'm concerned, but there is still room for improvement!

The concept is wrong and that is a shame. The place has more potential. Ordering on the iPad is okay, but the 15 minutes you have to wait afterwards is absurd. This does not work with young children. If you want to eat a lot of sushi and no larger dishes, you will literally be hungry for an hour before you have eaten a little. You can order 4 dishes at a time, but mind you, this means, for example, only 4 nigiri and then another 15 minute wait. I have eaten in sushi restaurants all over the world but I have never come across this setup. It feels shabby while the food is of excellent quality. However, you notice that things are not immediately made fresh, as the makis, for example, are only served in pairs. This means that the tempura becomes soft and the food is less fresh than desired. If the concept changes and orders are more generous, we will definitely come back. I noticed that our neighbors also complained about this point. Apparently more people find this inconvenient. Shame! Delicious food. It detracts a bit from the atmosphere that you have a tablet per table to order your food and drinks, but it still works smoothly. Super leuke zaak heerlijk eten en voldoende parkeergelegenheid

Heerlijk eten en een heel relaxte sfeer. Prima bediening

Japans eten, geweldige sfeer, uitstekende koks en een fantastishe show met vuur. Ook heerlijk gelachen toen de kok met rolletjes ei ging gooien en iedereen rond de tafel een stukje uit de lucht moht vangen.

Het was een onverwacht bezoek. En het viel zeker niet tegen. Het eten en de service was top. Echter de zaak mist wat mij betreft een beetje sfeer. Zonde want het is een mooie ruimte. Tip is, wat bloemen, planten, meer licht en meer sfeervol licht. Ondanks dat aanrader om te eten.

Vroeger was dit de beste plek om sushi te eten in Rotterdam. Mooie kaart, vriendelijke bediening en goed eten. Tegenwoordig is het concept veranderd en word er gewerkt met timers en een app om te bestellen. Ook stuk duurder geworden allemaal. Jammer

Wij waren een beetje bang voor een slechte ervaring na het lezen van alle reviews, maar we zijn echt blij verrast! Erg mooi restaurant met heel lekker eten. Alles werd snel bezorgd en het eten was nog goed heet als het op tafel gezet werd. Sushi was vers en smaakte heerlijk, andere gerechtjes ook top. We gaan hier zeker vaker eten.

Gisterenavond ben ik hier wezen eten met een vriendin. De structuur van de sushi deed mij denken aan een mueslireep die over de datum is. Droog en smakeloos. Alles viel uit elkaar. Bestellen via de tablet is niet prettig en onhandig. Informatie over de gerechten ontbreekt. De twee sterren zijn voor mij en mijn vriendin. We hebben het namelijk gezellig gehad, ondanks het eten. Het ijs was trouwens wel lekker.

Na 2 jaar eindelijk weer eens mogen genieten bij Kyoto. Menukaart is (logischerwijs) wel veranderd en het systeem van bestellen ook. Opzich alleen maar vooruitgang! Vandaag 9 maart 2023 weer eens hier gegeten, het blijft echt een super tent!

Heerlijk tepanyaki gedaan. Was goed en een vriendelijke kok.

We belde onverwacht na het paintballen dat we met ca 16/18 personen zouden willen komen eten en dat was geen probleem. Tafel was gedekt toen we kwamen. Snel en vriendelijk ontvangen. Heerlijk eten. Super bedankt

Echt vers eten. Zeer smaakvol en goede porties. Als je in een relaxte sfeer met ruime tafels, voor een redelijke prijs Japans wil eten, is dit zeker een aanrader. Zelfs het jonge personeel serveert netjes en met aandacht. Ik kom hier zeker nogmaals terug.

Wij waren met bijna 30 man en het personeel was op een gegeven ogenblik het overzicht een beetje kwijt. Maar verder prima gegeten.

Vanavond er gegeten met 11 personen, de manier van bestellen is erg ongemakkelijk en rommelig via 1 tablet voor 6 personen. Het was voor allen de eerste keer, maar ook de laatste keer. Ik ken een beter Sushi restaurant in de buurt nl. in Schiedam. Voor personen die allergisch voor bepaald voedsel zijn is dit restaurant af te raden. Onduidelijk om wat voor soort vlees het gaat bij namen van gerechten, die wij niet kennen.

Net kerstavond daar gegeten .de kaart is erg beperkt en bestellen met 5 personen mey een tablet kost veel tijd .zeker omdat je pad ba 15 min weer mag bestellen en het lang duurt voor het eten komt .de bediening was erg onervaren .kunnen zr niets aan doen maar naakte het geheel nog rommelig.het was meer bezig zijn met bestellen en ontcijferen wie wat had en wat het was.dan gezellig eten en kletsen samen.erg jammer dit voor de prijs die je betaald .
