Beautiful snack bar. A huge selection, of plates as well as regular snacks and fries.

I have had a pleasant lunch here several times, and I am actually always very satisfied with the lunch. The food is tasty, and the restaurant itself is cozy and atmospheric. There are also all kinds of fun games you can take out of the cupboard, which creates a nice and relaxed atmosphere. Unfortunately, we had a very different experience with dinner. The service was very slow and chaotic. We had to wait about an hour for our starter, and in total, we spent about three hours in the restaurant. At one point, we went to the bar ourselves to order our dessert. If we hadn't done that, we probably would have had to wait much longer. We also had to ask for our second drink ourselves after two hours. The food itself was fine, but not exceptional. The burger was unfortunately very dry, while the salad was tasty. The homemade spreads with the bread were, however, very tasty. What was particularly disappointing was the lack of organization in the service. For instance, we were asked several times if we had already ordered, even multiple times by the same waitress. Combined with the long waiting times, this really took the atmosphere out of the evening for us. Incidentally, the staff themselves were not friendly or welcoming either. There wasn't a smile to be seen and no clear enjoyment of their work. And it actually felt as if they didn't even want to be there. (This refers to the waitresses) By the way, the owner himself is a nice, likeable man. You can have a pleasant chat with him at lunch. And at dinner, he is busy in the kitchen. But he certainly has a passion for the business.

I waited at least 1.5 hours for my steak.

Allergies were handled properly. And no risks were taken. Fries that couldn't be served (due to the oil) were still served to the other guests. Nothing was too much trouble for the waiter. The service was relaxed. And the food was very tasty. And certainly not small portions!
