We thoroughly enjoyed the selection of treats; sweet, sweeter, sweetest. Besides tea, there was also coffee, soft drinks, and beer (also 0.0). Thank you so much 🙏🏽

Highly recommended! The chocolates for dessert are especially delicious. The food was delicious and plentiful, and the staff were super friendly. We were warmly welcomed (we had made a reservation) and were well-stocked with glasses for drinks and food. The restroom was even nice, with nice soap and freshening products.

At the start of a weekend getaway in Dokkum, I went to Artisante with a friend for some food and cocktails. The food was delicious; the portions were a bit small, but very tasty. The chicken thigh is highly recommended. The friendly bartender was working alone, but he made us a delicious cocktail that wasn't on the menu. We'll definitely be back for his cocktails! Artisante is highly recommended.

This afternoon, the four of us had a wonderful time at Artisante. At the waitress's suggestion, we ordered the appetizer platter. We thoroughly enjoyed it, and the two waitresses were so friendly. The beers and coffees were also excellent. But the waitresses made it perfect.

After picking up our parents from Holwerd Haven, they wanted to eat in Dokkum. They chose Artisante. We had a delicious meal. Friendly service and a nice atmosphere.

The restaurant looks nice, and we like the menu. But when it comes to the food, I haven't had such a bad experience in a long time. The risotto wasn't cooked through, and according to the waiter (who had sweaty armpits), that was their way of making risotto. You're not supposed to cook the rice through. It shouldn't turn into rice pudding, of course, but to have to break your teeth on the grains of rice is a shame. I put my plate aside, and when it came time to pay, we had to pay for the risotto as well. Strange, because eventually the owner, who initially also wanted money and was difficult to convince that the risotto wasn't cooked, came to his senses. Incidentally, you'd be better off eating lasagna at a pizzeria. Apparently, this one was also their own idea of ​​lasagna. What a shame about our day out in Dokkum.

Stadscafé Artisante is highly recommended. It's a lovely city café right in the city center, and you can moor your boat practically right outside. It's just a few minutes' walk from the dock. We had a group of 40, and they have a dedicated area for us, which was ideal. The food was delicious, the wine selection good, and the staff super friendly. In short: a great spot for both small and large groups!

A very pleasant terrace next to the water. The drinks were great, and the mocktail iced tea twist (with cucumber) was surprising. We ordered the appetizer platter for two, which was very generous, extensive, and delicious. It could easily have been shared by 3 or 4 people. Only two complaints: a bit too much variety in the sauces/dips (resulting in a lot being left over and thrown away), and the nachos with guacamole and sour cream were dry and overly seasoned. Plain nachos instead of paprika flavor would have made them better; as it was, they were too spicy. But thankfully, that was just one of the 10 snacks on the platter!

Went twice on a recent trip. Really good food, atmosphere and staff.

Tonight, my wife and I had two pina coladas. The worst we've ever had. Too much ice, not enough flavor, and even the filling was wrong. The bartender supposedly made it according to the recipe. Advice: learn from an expert. Our complaint was heard, and that was it. It's a shame it was our last evening in Dokkum.

We had to wait way too long for the food but the food was tasty, the atmosphere was fine but I think it could be better. The service was good but yes it really took way too long. We could also do a lot of things but no, we were here and yes, I just think it's a shame that it is like this now.

The apple pie tastes truly homemade and delicious. In the evening, we had the risotto, the spare ribs, and the burger. Everything was delicious and reasonably priced. The staff is very friendly. Highly recommended!

I have been coming to Dokkum regularly for years for a day out with a good lunch, a long city walk and for the liveliness and conviviality that is always here. The large store base is remarkably versatile and active. This time I enjoyed my lunch at Stadscafé Artisante on the Diepswal and opted for the 12-hour meal (partly put together yourself). Fine!! Very tasty! This is a historic building with a collection of small cozy spaces at several 'heights'. There is an adjacent terrace, but also one on the water. The service is smooth and friendly. Everything is clean and tidy including the toilets. A pleasant introduction and certainly worth repeating. Ed Jansen

Wir waren zwei Tage in Dokkum und haben jeden Abend hier gegessen. Am ersten Abend hatten wir die Spareribs und am zweiten Abend die Hähnchen Sate und Lasagne. Das Essen war sehr gut und die Bedienung auch sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Können wir auf jeden Fall mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

The 12 o'clock came at just the right time and was original (Thai pepper is something different from mustard soup). Not too much, not too little. Coffee was also fine. The location is beautiful near the water with a view of the boats. Cozy sitting (inside)!

Toen we een klacht indienden dat het eten onsmakelijk was omdat het vlees naar een schoonmaakmiddel smaakte vertelde de serveerster dat dit onmogelijk was. Er zat een duidelijke chloorsmaak aan de spareribs De kok liet zich niet zien Een oplossing was niet voorhanden anders dan iets anders bestellen Dat wilde ik niet omdat mijn tafelgenoot haar eten inmiddels op had Gevraagd werd de volledige rekening te betalen Dokkum is een mooi stadje maar ik zou een bezoek aan Artisante om te eten overslaan

Spare ribs besteld, had er echt zin in. Maar ik werd teleurgesteld, twee wat kleine stukken wat op zich normaal is, maar deze keer van ronduit slechte kwaliteit. Vielen totaal niet van het bot af, geen doekjes erbij dus één grote smeerboel geworden. Maar de gebruikte rub was simpelweg niet smaakvol en zeer slecht gelakt ook bovendien. Dit kun je thuis met 2 vingers in de neus beter doen, niet ok. Hier gaan we dan ook niet meer naartoe.

Zeer karige, smaakloze en verbrande vega couscous gekregen. Zat bijna niks in. Paar stukken wortel, afgemaakt met de standaard side salad zodat het nog wat leek. Duidelijk een kok die niet veel om de vegetariër geeft. Gooi er een paar stukken fallafel en feta doorheen is mijn tip.

Very nice restaurant! We sat outside in the warm shade. At the water. Very nice place. The service was also perfect! We were asked for drinks at exactly the right times and we were very well looked after. Food came at just the right time and it was delicious too. I had the pasta pesto. A delicious creamy pesto sauce to which chicken can also be added.

Yesterday, August 26, I was here, nice location, nice spot, live music in the middle of the city of Dokkum, food.... the lasagna was very good, but the salmon, a small piece, and as I tasted, not fresh/good in taste .......,pay extra for potatoes instead of fries....? no vegetables, but salad......drinks a lot of money €5 for a glass of wine.... a little more than 1/4 glass......., a real shame for such a top location

Essen ist gut! Abwechslungsreich. Portionen sind eher kleiner, damit man sich durchprobieren kann. Preise sind dementsprechend angepasst. Das wird aber auch beim Bestellen von den Angestellten erklärt! Sehr nettes Personal, Super süßes, gemütliches Lokal. Tolles Ambiente und schöne Musik. Empfehlenswert :).

My friend and I walked in without a reservation. We were warmly welcomed and allowed to choose a spot. Friendly staff. The only point of attention is that they are allowed to come to the table more often or make eye contact between dishes. Food came quickly, but not too quickly. Enough time between dishes, so that you don't have to leave too quickly. Then the food, she mentioned the 'smaller' portions, but we were more than satisfied with a sandwich and a main course with side dish. So don't let the portions deter you. The short ribs are a must try, if you are a meat eater. We couldn't pass up the tiramisu either. This also tasted delicious. All in all a wonderful evening of dining.

Drankjes zijn prima, helaas geen cocktails naar onze smaak. Maar de nacho's.... Die zagen er ontzettend onsmakelijk uit! Hoe kun je dit in een restaurant serveren... Een basic nacho kan iedereen maken maar dat is niet dit... Voor 8 euro...

The restaurant is on great spot, with a tarace in the sun. We have been there a year ago and had decent food, it seems the owners or cook changed: we had a risotto of very poor quality, a mixed plate with the soop of the day, which was also mediocre. The cappuccino was made by a motivated beginner and the brownie which used was sold as home made - was a gluey sugar cake. Not recommended. A lot of money for bad quality food.

Wir kamen um 19:00 Uhr an und wurden trotzdem schnell bedient und die Kellnerin wusste bis ins kleinste Detail, was wir wollten und die mitgebrachten Gerichte entsprachen unserer Bestellung (wir haben 1 Gericht auf vegetarisch umgestellt und bekamen auch glutenfreies Brot) Außerdem gibt es einen separaten Tisch mit allerlei Brettspielen, den Sie frei nutzen können.

Great new-ish establishment. Very good food, "smaller" plates so had 3 plates each, one of which was soup. Very filling but no room for dessert.

We hebben even een drankje gedronken op het terras. Het was regenachtig, maar door de parasols kon je droog zitten. Verder zat er helemaal niemand. Een serveerster kwam keurig ons tafeltje droog maken en ging vervolgens de kaart en een bakje water voor de hond halen. (Hier hadden we nog niet om gevraagd). Onze drankjes kwamen ook heel snel. Toen we even later even naar binnen liepen zagen we dat het daar ook heel gezellig een knus eruit zag, ondanks dat het een ruime zaak is. Allemaal leuke zitjes en het ziet er ook allemaal verzorgd uit. Bij het afrekenen troffen we een andere medewerker en ook hij was zeer vriendelijk. Het was niet bepaald dat we daar veel geld hadden gespendeerd, maar dit maakte niks uit. Over prijs gesproken, met de huidige horeca prijzen, was ik positief verrast door de zeer schappelijke prijs. Als je in Dokkum bent, zou ik hier zeker even langs gaan.

Porties waren aan de kleine kant, dit is wel van te voren gemeld en er is aangeraden dat je wat deelt en meer gerechten besteld. Verder is het gelegen naast een kerk die van 7 tot 9, 2 uur dus, zijn klokken liet luiden. Dat was minder fijn en hield de gezellige sfeer ook gauw op bij gebrek aan verstaanbare gesprekken.

Wij hebben hier gister voor het eerst samen gegeten, we kwamen vrij laat (20:10 ongeveer) en dit was geen probleem. Ze namen alsnog de tijd voor ons, goed advies, prima wijn, zalm was perfect. Vlot personeel en het eten was lekker! Alleen de deur die vlak achter ons zat maakt herrie(gaat vaak erg hard dicht). Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Mooie tent, goede service. Had het broodje van de dag: mozzarella met gegrilde groenten. Tafelgenoot had eggs Benedict met zalm, jammer dat er maar 1 egg op zat, 2 waren beter geweest, ook voor de prijs. Heerlijke cappuccino en 2 verse jus. De jus was bitter, dat gebeurt meestal als er te veel van de witte schil mee geperst wordt door te hard drukken. Jammer, maar over het algemeen was het eten lekker, service goed en de sfeer en locatie uitstekend.

Delicious and soft meat, served with loaded fries. Was overall delicious. The beet sauce did taste bland, but that was the only minus about the food. Portion size has been cut down so you can "combine" things together. To me it just seemed even more expensive for that. Per small plate you have to pay around 12-18€...

Cappuccino met appeltaart. Cappuccino was goed. Appeltaart niet: weinig smaak, appels bijna tot moes, geen krokante laag bovenop. Geen tweede stuk van besteld.

Wij hebben daar een uitsmijter gegeten. Erg goed .zowel binnen als buiten dikke prima .Leuk team en de koffie is heerlijk
