Ciao Mimi - Familierestaurant in Wijk 33 Heerlen-Centrum

Today we celebrated my mother's birthday at the Ciao-mimi restaurant, very good atmosphere and service staff, I was here for the first time and I really liked it, I recommend it!

Best and tastiest pizza in Heerlen.

Oven pizza is amazing, personal recommendation is the Quattro Formaggi! The service is very fast and friendly, all in all had a great dinner! Edit: also a delicious Tartufo pistachio for dessert😍

When I asked about gluten-free options, I was told they don't. When asked why, I was told: "There's rarely a demand for it!" It's a shame a restaurant doesn't want to cater to all guests!

Fast service and super tasty food

Very unfortunate. We were on the road for 1.5 hours only to be told that a mistake had been made with the reservation and that it was a private evening. We will try again in a while and will then adjust this review.

Delicious food (ravioli scampi is highly recommended. My husband says: I haven't had better pizza rustica in Parkstad. Daughter says: pizza Margerita was delicious.) Service is very pleasant. Pleasantly busy on a Tuesday. Book on time.

What a super cozy and delicious restaurant. The staff and the chef are super enthusiastic and nice. The food is really delicious and authentically Italian. Be sure to try the pizzas that are always fresh from the brick oven - but honestly, the entire menu is highly recommended.

Cozy Italian restaurant with delicious honest food. Delicious pizza from the wood-fired oven, good dough, good tomato sauce, not too thick topping, just right! The pasta was also very tasty! We will definitely come back here.

If you like real Italian food, Ciao Mimi is the place to be

Rarely have you come across a restaurant where everything is just right, from the moment you enter until the moment you go home. The welcome is very warm, the service is sincere and very pleasant to deal with. Not to mention the food, which is truly excellent. We had the 3 course surprise menu and could choose to stick with a snack or with a dessert, we chose salt. It's not fun to reveal what we got, but this is guaranteed to be a winner and really worth it! In short, highly recommended. Next time we would like to come and eat the surprise menu again, but we will opt for the 5 course menu.

Used to be a super Italian... unfortunately those days are behind us: 1. No lasagna (it is on the menu) 2. No tiramisu (it is on the menu) An alternative dessert is ice cream, but I don't have to go to an Italian for that. 3. A strawberry coupe contains 1 strawberry cut into 2 pieces. Very scanty… 4. A children's pizza is half a large pizza. You pay a large minus 1 euro for this. Well, apologies to the owner and a discount for the children's pizza, but the experience of a pleasant Italian dinner is simply no longer there. Disappointing. Not to be repeated.

Fantastically beautiful place, everything as it should be, carpaccio freshly cut from the tenderloin, pizzas from the stone oven with wood, in short, delicious! Super friendly service, they don't forget anyone, 'catering eyes' everywhere, in short: highly recommended!!

The food in a word? Awesome. Started deliciously with a starter, pizza bread with garlic cream and aperol spritz, and then perhaps one of the tastiest calzones I have had in years. Recommended, and always fun!

The food is delicious! The portions are not very large, in any case the ravioli with porcini mushrooms was as large as a regular starter. Nevertheless, it was tasty. What wasn't so nice was some of the service that wanted to rush us through the evening. Even if you say you want to wait before ordering, they will be back at your table within two seconds. Even when we indicated that we wanted to consider a different dish, because what was on the menu was no longer available, they actually did not allow us to do so. We got the feeling that we had to immediately choose something else, there was no time to think. The atmosphere is very cozy and it is nicely decorated. To be repeated. Hopefully next time we will have more time to enjoy the evening.

What a very atmospheric Italian with great, very tasty quality food! An authentic wood oven, special! Started with a sublime, divine carpaccio for me, and very tasty bruscetta pommodore for my wife. Then a very tasty, richly topped quattro formaggi for the wife and a very special but super tasty calzone for me! Very friendly, attentive and alert service and the Italian chef has delivered some works of art again! A great address that is definitely a must for a delicious meal. Quality! Absolutely recommended!

We certainly had a nice meal, but I actually thought it was unacceptable that they didn't have lasagna bolognese or tiramisu. It was on the menu and we were there at 5:00 PM.... The staff was friendly and the limoncello offered at the end was a nice gesture

Make sure you make a reservation! Fantastic pizzas from a real wood-fired oven. Great service and very hospitable. The tiramisu is homemade by grandpa. The house limoncello after payment completes the experience. Eccolo!

In the meantime, we have had every Italian in the area, and we are pleasantly surprised by this great restaurant. In my opinion the best in the area. Never expected that you could find such quality pizza nearby. The owner/cook will bring you the pizza himself and also ask if everything is to your liking. Ciao Mimi keep it up!!

2 mal hier gewesen immer wieder gut

This was the first restaurant besides the one in my hotel that I tried while in Brunssum for work and it boy did I walk into the right spot. The staff and food are top notch, but the Chef puts Ciao Mimi over the top. I just went in for a carryout pizza and they sat me by the oven while I waited. The Chef was having such a good time and I guess he saw me salivating over all the delicious food being made, so he started making a little extra of everything and giving it to me to try while I waited. He even had them bring me a gratis Limoncello, which is my favorite aperitif. I know tipping is not big in Europe, but I left a tip bigger than my actual check because I enjoyed it all so much.

Met een groep van 9 personen hier gegeten, mooie zaak en een zeer vriendelijke ontvangst. de koude hapjes vooraf waren lekker maar weinig voor 9 personen, de pasta als hoofdgerecht was ok, maar het dessert was slecht. Slagroom uit een spuitbus, chocolade saus uit een fles en geen enkele aandacht aan de presentatie . Alles bij elkaar genomen was€50,00 pp( incl een drankje) hier echt teveel gevraagd.

Wauw wat een heerlijk eten! Pasta Carbonara gehad. Vers gemaakt vanuit een keuken die te zien is als je aan tafel zit. Je ruikt de geuren van de italiaanse keuken. Een warme sfeer door de aankleding. Perfect voor een date. Ook een Limoncello van het huis gekregen! De prijs is wel wat duurder maar dat mag je ook verwachten voor wat je krijgt. Wij komen zeker terug!!!

Geen goedkope Italiaan maar wel erg lekker. Pizza is overheerlijk en wordt echt Italiaans in een steenoven gemaakt.

We waren met een groep en ze hadden 2 gerechten op de kaart niet wat ik niet vind kunnen en qua hoeveelheid viel het voor mij ook tegen... vond de pizza's wel erg goed uitzien.

Helemaal niks op aan te merken heerlijke pasta met scampi en vongole..en een goed glas wijn.. wat wil je nog meer

Heerlijke versgemaakte vegetarische lasagne gegeten. Altijd goed voor lekker eten. Heerlijk glaasje rode wijn en het etentje is compleet. Een echt familie restaurant waar de kinderen ook welkom zijn. Daarom wel wat rumoerig maar dat mag de pret niet drukken.

TOP adres om samen met kids te gaan uiteten. Al lang voor een goed restaurant gezoekt om als familie te gaan uiteten, in heerlen bij ciao mimi hebben wij het zeker gevonden. Fijne speelruimte voor de kids en papa en mama kunnen ontspannen eten. Dankjewel voor de fijne avonden en tot snel!!

Heerlijk eten, lekkere wijn en top bediening. Bij binnenkomst word je met open armen ontvangen. Krijgt tevens een amuse en drankje van het huis. Kleine tip: een Italiaans biertje op de kaart zou het afmaken!

Twee keer geweest nu, twee super lekkere pizza gegeten

Zonder reserveren binnen gelopen een tafel voor 2 gekregen. Heel vriendelijk ontvangen en naar onze tafel gebracht. Omdat we voor de eerste keer hier zijn gaan eten, gekozen voor het 4 gangen verrassingsmenu. En dat bleek een hele goede keuze! Van overheerlijke carpaccio, pasta met gamba's naar ossenhaas met groene groenten en pasta naar de afsluiting, de tiramisu. Daarbij bijpassende rode en witte wijn om het plaatje compleet te maken. Als afsluiter een limoncello en een huisgemaakte honing grappa. De sfeer voelde heel prettig aan, de vaste gasten werden ontvangen alsof het familie was. Het klinkt afgezaagd: dit was echt voor herhaling vatbaar!
