Dear Ali, Last Saturday was buffet night again, and we had a blast! The food was delicious, there was plenty of choice, and everything was neat and tidy. However, we do have a few things to consider. After being seated, we had to figure out the concept ourselves, including where the buffet begins: appetizers are at the back, side dishes at the front, and the main courses in the middle. A little explanation would have been helpful. And there's no mention of the names of the dishes or what they contain. Just add small cards, and it's all sorted. The desserts were gone very quickly, with just a few pieces of baklava left, which were absolutely delicious, by the way. That being said, we had a wonderful meal, so we know our way around now, and we'll definitely be back!

Today was our first visit to the taxim restaurant with a social deal. Unfortunately, it will probably be our last visit... When we entered, about half the restaurant was full because we were there very early. The atmosphere is nice. The real problem was the wait... The restaurant was initially half full. We had a three-course meal and spent about 2.45 hours in the restaurant. (We have a small dog at home.) The food was delicious, the portions were decent, but it was quite slow, and the staff, although very friendly, were visibly overwhelmed... After an hour, the restaurant filled up and was completely full. I asked the waitress twice for dessert and drinks because we had to go home. The wait was too long. I won't be going back, even though the food was good.

We went for breakfast with my family in the afternoon. Since it was getting late, we asked if breakfast was available, as they said. But after the first tea, they brought tea bags. It was a very disappointing experience. The service was very slow, with very little attention.

We bought and reserved a three-course meal with a social deal. We were served six delicious cold appetizers. Then we had a main course of our choice. We chose Adana kebab and Beiti kebab. For dessert, baklava with pistachios and ice cream. We had a delicious meal.

A wonderful restaurant. A spotlessly clean, welcoming space. The food is wonderful. Friendly service. Congratulations to the team.

On Friday, August 1, 2025, my wife and I visited Taxim restaurant with a Social Deal. The restaurant was packed, and it was clear that the four waitstaff were very busy. The service was very friendly, but because the restaurant was packed and only two people were serving the dishes, it took a very long time before we could start our appetizer. The (non-alcoholic) beer was served lovingly from the bottle, but without a head, so it looked a bit like apple juice. The dry white wine was very tasty. The service was a bit chaotic, as we were asked what dessert we wanted even though we hadn't yet received our main course. For our main course, I had an Adana kebab with spiced lamb or beef, and my wife had a Tavuk sote with chicken fillet. The Adana kebab was delicious, but during the meal it became clear that the chicken fillet wasn't fully cooked, and a new Tavuk sote was served. For dessert, we had baklava with pistachios, but without the ice cream that was supposed to be included. Because the chicken breast wasn't cooked through and everything took a very long time, we were given bread with a slice of herb cheese and, to finish, a house coffee. Coincidentally, the next day, a restaurant review of Taxim appeared in De Limburger newspaper, which mentioned that "the service keeps things moving"; we missed that a bit. In short: friendly service, but a bit chaotic.

Super tasty and a very nice welcome

I came to this restaurant at dinner time and enjoyed very authentic Turkish food! It immediately brought back the good memories of my dining trip to Turkey❤️💕If I travel to the Netherlands again, I will come here a few more times👍👍

Recently visited the new location of Taxim (Delicious Turkish Snacks) at Akerstraat 19A in Heerlen for a full breakfast. You definitely won't be disappointed. More choices than at the old location in Hoensbroek. And truly delicious, fresh, and something for everyone. I've known about Delicious Turkish Snacks since November 2021, when they didn't have a location and only delivered to order. Then they opened the restaurant in Hoensbroek, and now they're in Heerlen. They've grown so much! In a very positive way. I highly recommend eating there. I want to give it a big 🔟!

I have only been to this small cozy place for breakfast/brunch, but it is definitely recommended. Something really different, delicious fried egg/tomato dish and all kinds of Turkish specialties. Rose jam on pancakes, mmmm. Also salad and cheese bar.

Really delicious food...especially the starters are delicious...but after such a plate of starters, the smallest main course is already too much.

How damn expensive and not tasty

Upon entering this beautiful Turkish restaurant you immediately feel the warm hospitality that is so characteristic of Turkish culture. The interior exudes tradition, with beautiful details such as colorful carpets, elegant lamps and an attractive ambiance that makes you forget that you are in the Netherlands. The food? Simply fantastic! Each dish was a feast of flavors and spices, just as you would expect from authentic Turkish cuisine. From the freshly baked pide to the juicy kebab and the perfectly seasoned mezes – everything was prepared with care and love. The quality of the ingredients was clearly palpable, and the presentation of the dishes made it complete. The Turkish tea and baklava were a perfect ending to an unforgettable meal. This restaurant is highly recommended for anyone who wants to experience the rich flavors and traditions of Turkey. A place where you don't just come to eat, but to really enjoy yourself. We will definitely come back!

Ate here yesterday with my girlfriend. Food was super tasty and more than enough for a big eater. Owner super friendly and came by the table every time. The only feedback I would give is to reprint the menu, because some dishes/drinks are no longer correct and this can be confusing. All in all 5 stars.

This restaurant lives up to its name. Exceptionally tasty Turkish snacks (and drinks). The staff was also very friendly and helpful. When my wife looked at some pastries, it was on the buffet table in no time. Despite the fact that the restaurant is located in the somewhat sad shopping street of Hoensbroek. There is a lot of atmosphere inside.

Vildan had arranged a great Turkish breakfast here for many of her friends! There were about 20 of us this morning. Luckily I was able to be there too. Enjoyed it very much. The conviviality and especially the delicious food. Definitely worth repeating! Very tasty and also healthy. Turkish cuisine is delicious. Very successful. It is a unique opportunity for the Turks. I have never eaten more delicious food in that region. In fact, I say this for the Netherlands in general. The hands of the lady who owns the place in the kitchen are so delicious that you can hardly stop yourself from eating your fingers. I highly recommend it. It is a place you should definitely visit and the prices are very cheap. It is perfect even for students. If you are going to have fun at home in the evening, you can buy the appetizers available there and set up a nice raki table at home. I would like to express my respects to İbrahim brother and his wife, they are very excellent people.

We had breakfast buffet here, everything was fresh, home made and delicious. You can find Turkish delicates, menemen, sucuk, pisi, simit, variety of turkish cheeses and mezes. Owners are very kind and hospital. They serve the buffet with a pot of turkish tea ( free) You could pay at least 10-15 euro for tea. It costs nothing compared to what you get. For 2 person, we got buffet + buy some simit while leaving, total was around 40 euros. Highly recommend.

My second home. We eat there regularly and have known the owners since they cooked from home. Respect for what they have achieved together. The food tastes delicious, every time a little trip to Turkey. Real authentic Turkish dishes that taste delicious. You will always be welcomed and helped cheerfully! Highly recommended. Regelmatig ga ik hier een tapas schotel halen met verschillende mezze en hapjes. Hier krijg je dan ook lekker brood bij! Een echte aanrader.

Mijn vrouw houdt van Turks eten en besteld hier al jaren. Nu hebben ze ook een restaurant naast het hele bestel gebeuren en het is fantastisch, de mensen zijn heel aardig en het eten is heerlijk echt een aanrader voor mensen die eens echt Turks willen eten.

Voor de verjaardag van mijn vriendin( tip) hebben wij een heerlijk huisgemaakt luxe ontbijt gehad. Het was gevarieerd, heerlijk en veel. Eigenaren en bediening super vriendelijk. Wij komen zeker weten terug.

Zo’n ontzettend leuk ingericht tentje, heeeerlijk eten met veel keuze. Ontbijt lopend buffet voor een prijs van 17,50 is echt geen geld voor het eten wat je krijgt want de kwaliteit en smaak is top! De eigenaren hebben hart en ziel in hun zaak en dat is te blijken, komen interesse tonen aan hun klanten en de eigenaresse heeft goede handjes want we hebben 2 soorten baklava geproefd en 3 melken taart wat verrukkelijk 😍😍😍wij komen hier 1000% vaker

Zo ontzettend lekker gegeten van de huisgemaakte Turkse heerlijkheden. Hele vriendelijke mensen, huiselijke sfeer, ongedwongen, zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!

Het avondbuffet is heerlijk! Veel keuze, en veel verschillende smaken. De smaakpapillen vieren feest. Ongelofelijk dat dit kan voor €15 pp. De service is heel vriendelijk gastvrij en correct. De consumptie prijs €2 per blikje. Waar vindt je dat nog.

Heerlijk ontbijtbuffet in het weekend en zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Prijs is niet te hoog. Ook is het fijn hoe het buffet elke keer dat we komen nog uitgebreider dan vorige keer is.

In 1 woord geweldig ik hou van Turkse hapjes ❤️ zodra ik maar even in Hoensbroek ben wil ik toch graag ff langskomen

Vandaag voor het eerst hier gegeten. Wij werden zeer vriendelijk verwelkomd en geholpen bij onze keuze. Het eten was bijzonder lekker en de porties waren ruim voldoende. Tot een volgende keer!
