We were at CICCI S. The service was great and the food was amazing, keep it up

A very enjoyable evening in a very enjoyable city. The calamari was sublime, and the crab croquettes were also delicious. The linguine was okay, but more of a gimmick than a truly worthwhile dish. I think the service was student-employed. All due respect to people who learn but pour incredibly small portions of wine and forget the name of the wine three times over—that shouldn't happen. But all in all, we had a pleasant evening.

Vanaf het moment dat we binnenstapten, voelden we ons meteen welkom. De sfeer in het restaurant is warm, stijlvol en tegelijkertijd ontspannen. Elk gerecht was met zorg bereid en tot in de puntjes verzorgd. De smaken waren fantastisch en perfect in balans. Je proeft dat er met liefde en passie gekookt wordt. De bediening was vriendelijk, attent en dacht echt met ons mee. Geen enkele vraag was te veel.

Last weekend we had a fantastic evening at Cicci's! We started with a few 'cicchetti' that we shared with each other. Then we had delicious main courses, which were beautifully seasoned. We drank a nice bottle of wine with it, chosen from the extensive wine list with many interesting options. The service was also great: friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. See you soon!

Ate here with a group of friends. It was quite tasty. But the real Italian dishes were completely tasteless. We all tasted each other's. And the Carbonara tasted like nothing at all and the pasta was really not cooked properly, was rock hard (not al dente) and the cheesewheel pasta was also quite tasteless. Then a kind of honey stuff was poured over it, and that taste was so extremely overpowering that you actually only had pasta with honey. Also with 1 of the fish dishes there was green asparagus (plural). But I only got ONE white asparagus. How stingy. I did like the people from the service :). And also compliments to the starters. They were very very tasty. Kind of pillows with cheese. Delicious! but the pastas do need some taste. come on :)

Together with sister Bellami‘s Bar à Manger high on the favorites list. Food always very tasteful, nice staff, well thought out combinations on your plate and delicious wines. We are fans!

My friend and I had the four courses menu “Menu del giorno” with the pairing wine – almost felt like we were in Italy! Apart from the food which was exquisite, the atmosphere as well as the attention we received from the waiters made our night truly memorable ! Definitely a place to add on your Groningen bucket list !

Reserved well in advance and still had to wait 45min at the bar to get seated. Despite reminding them several times we still exist, we got seated and I finally told the waiter that this long wait had been frustrating and he laughed it off asking "Oh I'm sorry, are you in a hurry or something?". All in all, the food was good which is what matters but the service was memorable to put it mildly

It’s a nice Italian restaurant. Located along the pittoresk canal with a nice terras and a view on the old sailing vessels.Service is good. Maybe it was an incident, but the quality of the food ( choice of the day menu) was at its best mediocre. Lack of taste and dry meat . If they upgrade the food, I would certainly recommend them.

Fuimos a cenar allí. Tienen tres opciones. Un menú de 4 platos, que cambia diariamente y era bastante tradicional durante nuestra visita. Un menú a la carta (antipasti, prim, secondi y desierto) con tres de cuatro opciones en cada categoría. Tal vez lo más inusual para un restaurante italiano es que hay un conjunto de pequeños platos diseñados para compartir. Probamos los platos compartidos y comimos ostras seguidas de ñoquis fritos, un plato con huevos y atún, y grandes gambas cocinadas al estilo de Venecia. Inusual y delicioso. Sin duda volveré.

Warm atmosphere with elegant decor. Slightly more expensive, but well worth it. Highly recommended for a special evening out.

Had dinner at Cicci's on a Saturday evening. We chose to share 3 starters and also share a main course. The French sister Belami's really gives the atmosphere of France, but at Cicci's I miss the Italian atmosphere. It is a beautifully decorated restaurant with modern tones. The dishes are tasty and good portions. The dish had already been divided into 2 plates for us. The wines on the menu are well described, so you know what to expect.

Atmosphere is amazing, everything looks gorgeous, however, food and drinks are extremely overpriced. €26 for a Rummo pasta with a cheese & lemon sauce? Absolutely not worth the price. I would only go there for a fancy drink and maaaybe dessert.

My husband brought me there on valentines day, what a pleasant surprise, great atmosphere, very professional staff & the food was amazing! You made our evening very special! A very nice Italian restaurant, in a superb central location in Groningen. The menu could be a bit more extensive, but what we ate was of exceptionally high quality. The excellent food does come at a price, but it's certainly reasonable. A very large wine selection—although the wines themselves are quite expensive. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy something special in a special setting.

Too expensive!! Felt scammed because paid online 65 euros for 2 people for Valentines special menu and thought that it was the final price (except drinks). They made me pay 75 euros there! Poor food, service is ok, but not enough quantity. Ingredients are ok, nothing special. Music too loud, food not good. also too long a wait for dinner. vegetarian dishes sucked.

Sometimes you just have a few places you love to return to. Because the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, the wines are sublime, and let's not forget the food, which is delicious every time. In short, we'll be back, and probably even more after that.

My worst restaurant experience. The female waitress was rude and condescending, which I definitely didn’t expect from a higher-end establishment. The portions were small, and I left still hungry. I didn’t even want to order dessert because the size of the main course made it feel like an obligation. My main course, the risotto in my opinion only had about 100g of rice and beef combined.

Nice restaurant for a nice evening meal. The tiramisu was a bit disappointing and a cone of fries with the main course would not have been out of place but nevertheless a very big recommendation.

We went to Cicci's on a safe note because knowing the chef Paolo we knew that the experience would be excellent. The restaurant is very sophisticated and the cuisine reflects the Italian tradition and quality especially the pasta. Furthermore, the wine list is also very extensive with excellent quality wines from many Italian regions. The dining room staff is very kind and professional. We recommend this restaurant especially to those who have never tried REAL Italian cuisine

This is not an Italian restaurant. Appetiser was hard to recognise what’s on your plate, main course “linguini Alfredo” way way over cooked, could not eat it. Restaurant was pricy… 7 euro for a bottle of water (example) I am not scared to pay for a good meal, but something is very wrong in the kitchen and I did not enjoy at all.

Had dinner here for my birthday a few weeks ago, from arrival all staff I encountered seemed happy to be there and very welcoming. Throughout the evening I drank very nice wine which accompanied some of the best food I've had. It's very clear the new chef knows what he's doing. I managed to speak with him once it calmed down a bit too. Thank you, Paolo, and the rest of the team. It was a very memorable night.

Cicci's offers a great atmosphere and delicious food, with portions that are measured just right. Sommelier Holger has an excellent knowledge of wines and knows how to serve you the tastiest wines, he also has knowledge of special non-alcoholic variants. The 0.0 amaretto or gin and tonic are highly recommended as delicious non-alcoholic choices, making the restaurant attractive to both wine lovers and those who prefer not to drink alcohol. Top service, Top tent!

The service and location are excellent. Menu looked delicious and promising. Pricey, but we had something to celebrate. However, the food was quite disappointing. And then it is very expensive, and even if you ignore price and quality: I have eaten better in many places than here.

Wat hebben wij een geweldige avond gehad! Je stapt binnen in een prachtig restaurant met fijne sfeerverlichting en lekkere Italiaanse muziek. De service is vriendelijk en weet duidelijk wat ze doen. Het vier gangen menu wordt ons aangeraden en dat maakt het lekker makkelijk kiezen. En wat een heerlijke gerechten. Een soes gevuld met creme van pecorino, geserveerd met een onwijs lekker wijntje, door de kundige sommelier. Het beloofde veel goeds. En het bleef goed. De pasta met aardpeer en venkelworst en de zwijnswangetjes als hoofdgerecht waren om te smullen. We waren goed voldaan en hebben heerlijk afgesloten met een tiramisu én een glaasje huisgemaakte limoncello. Die moet je beide niet missen. Ik kom graag nog een keertje terug en ik raad iedereen aan om hier te komen genieten van de gastvrijheid, wijnen en het heerlijke eten.

Simply perfect. Cuisine of the highest level, Italian flavors slightly revisited for the Dutch palate but with all the character of the Italian boot. The only problem during the evening was choosing what to eat for dinner, because I didn't have enough appetite. Congratulations to all the staff. We will return for sure.

Locatie ligt mooi aan de hoge Aa helaas geen terras aan het water. De dinarzaal boven was leuk ingericht. Het eten was prima heerlijke pasta en verse vis. De bediening was prima zeer goede uitleg en enthousiaste bedienden

Was soll man sagen, einfach unglaublich gut . Wir hatten uns für ein Menü mit korrespondierenden Weinen entschieden. Phantastisch! Und auch der Service den ganzen Abend über sehr aufmerksam und nah am Gast, ohne aufdringlich zu wirken. Zudem ist das Restaurant im Verhältnis zu anderen relativ klein, dadurch persönlicher. Reservierung vorher unbedingt empfehlenswert.

On the way to our appointment we stopped for a drink at CICCI'S. The service was extremely courteous. Friendly and to the point. You sit there with a wonderful view of the upper and lower Aa. The building is tastefully and attractively decorated and exudes cosiness with a luxurious appearance. We intend to come here more often.

Enjoyed rosé in the sun, snacks to share and dinner. Definitely recommend the pasta alfredo and ravioli! Friendly service, they thought along with adjusting the snacks from 4 to 5 pieces due to group size, and also beautifully prepared dishes. All in all a successful evening in Groningen!

Nice cozy place. Service is really 10/10 desert was 10/10 (ode to fererro) pasta carbonara was genuinely delicious but a small portion if you don't order anything else.

Cozy restaurant, great service. The food was fine, but not special. We thought the price-quality ratio was not OK! I don't understand why this restaurant gets such high ratings. Especially the pasta as a main course: simple, dry, few, no side dishes. Steak main course was tasty. The tiramisu for dessert was also nice but nothing special. Ultimately, the two of us paid 150 euros: three small starters, a main course each and dessert. We each had two glasses of wine and a bottle of water. Then there are the time slots... But we knew that in advance. Fortunately, the service was very helpful, including good advice about wine.

Delicious 4 course meal with matching wines for 2 people. Nice friendly service. The only downside I thought was that it was a bit too dark, you couldn't see the food as well. I also like to see the color of the food clearly.

Met mijn zusjes een heerlijke avond gehad. We werden warm verwelkomd en hadden een prachtig plekje in dit mooie restaurant. De heerlijke kleine gerechtjes (Cicchetti) om mee te starten, de hoofdgerechten en de friandises waren verrukkelijk. Wat een fantastische smaaksensaties, met heerlijke wijnen! Van toegevoegde waarde was de bediening. De vriendelijke, grappige eigenaar, de uiterst aardige sommelier met enorme kennis van de wijnen en de charmante dame die ons verder bediende waren geweldig. Zoals je het wenst!

Als je nou heerlijk een hele avond wilt zitten en genieten, dan is dit, net als Bellami's, een echte aanrader voor in Groningen. Hoogstandjes aan Italiaanse gerechtjes, menu om je vingers bij af te likken, sommelier die er de lekkerste wijnen bij adviseert en alerte, attente en vriendelijke bediening. Niets op aan te merken, en dan is het zomaar vier uren later en heb je een heerlijke avond gehad.

Heerlijk gegeten, super wijnen en de bediening is top. Aan elk detail is gedacht.

Voor het eerst gegeten. Mooie locatie langs het water, leuk pand, mooi ingericht. We kozen met 6 mensen een 4 gangen diner. Het was heel erg lekker en bijzonder wel. Personeel moest even wennen want het was een nieuw menu dus ze wisten niet zo goed meer wat er nou in zat, maar goed ze waren vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Heerlijk gegeten afgelopen weekend met vier personen. Het restaurant heeft een warme uitstraling en goede service. Een klassieke én verrassende Italiaanse keuken met gerechten en wijnen op hoog niveau, tegen een betaalbare prijs. Aanrader voor wie in Groningen een avond gezellig en goed wil tafelen.

Heerlijk terras, heerlijk eten en fantastische bediening. Ik kom zeker terug.

Gister hier samen met mijn vrouw gedineerd. Zeer lekker eten en een hele prettige bediening. Zeker een aanrader en een mooie aanwinst voor Groningen!

Lekkere gerechten (probeer ook zeker de kleine gerechtjes om te delen (bijv de filet americain/tartaar of gevulde olijven!!). Smaakvol, lekkere wijnen en een fantastische tiramisu!

- Geweldig eten - Goede service - Leuke mensen - Voor wat je krijgt zeer schappelijk geprijsd Geen idee waar Paul Mollema het over heeft met zijn klaagzang. Maar goed, voor sommige mensen regent het blijkbaar elke dag. Hier geen klachten, enkel lof. We komen zeker terug!

Wat een feestje. Heerlijk genoten, fijne bediening en super service betreft dieet wensen. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Heb hier gegeten voor mijn 20ste verjaardag met mijn familie en een vriendin. Een geweldig restaurant met een verassend goed menu. Een grote aanwinst voor Groningen. Sabastiaan en zijn team heeft ons ontzettend goed geholpen, op een leuke en vriendelijke manier. Ontzettend lekker gegeten en een hele leuke en gezellige avond gehad. Dankjewel !
