Pizzeria Di Stefano in Centrum

I just ended up here and I can only say that the pizzas are very good. The menu is not that extensive, especially in terms of starters, but that doesn't matter. This one is worth repeating!

I'm a bit biased, because I lived above this restaurant for two years, but this is really a great pizzeria! Hard working guys who put a lot of love into their pizzas. In addition, they are extremely friendly. The Mafioso is my favorite pizza, definitely recommended!

On this warm summer evening we were in the mood for a really good Italian pizza. In a quiet corner at the end of the Gedempte Zuiderdiep, hidden behind a row of plane trees, we found Di Stefano. Because there were only 2 tables on the terrace, 1 of which was occupied, we had our doubts. But the couple who sat outside and saw us were full of praise for the pizzas and pastas from this place. (It turned out that the table had been reserved but these people had not shown up) And indeed, it has been a long time since we had such delicious pizzas. A thin, crispy base and very well topped. The fish pizza is highly recommended. It was so tasty and richly filled that I will definitely order it next time. Now she had a delicious quattro fromagi. Their wine list is limited but the fruity rosé is very tasty and goes perfectly with the pizzas. As a starter we had freshly baked bread with herb butter and a salad of tomatoes, cheese and basil. Shared together of course. With the pizzas it's a big meal. We enjoyed it and the service was very good. Top!

Super super friendly staff!!! A very cozy little place with good music that isn't too loud. Good food, the carbonara was a 10/10. I would recommend it to everyone :)

Small restaurant on the Gedempte Zuiderdiep that lacks a bit of atmosphere inside when it is very quiet. The service is perfect and the food is of very good quality. Eating something before going to the movies is a good choice.

Well what to say, the dough was quite good but tasteless. The ingredients on the pizza were tasteless as well. The pizza looked all right. Don't know about the other food.

This place will be my all time favourite worst place. Everything was so bad, it was almost good! We ordered two pizzas in the restaurant. Pizzas had no salt. I mean literally no salt! We both added salt for each peace that we eat. You can say like well, this guy likes his food salty but NO, I don’t even like salty food! The pizzas were just plain and saltless! The toppings on the pizza looked like a soggy salad. What they did was -> cook the pizza -> then add the toppings. Because of this, all the toppings and vegetables were mushy and soggy. They just threw olives (soggy), onion (soggy), green pepper (soggy and somehow way tooo much?) on top of the after they already cooked it. When we mentioned the waiter that pizza had no salt -> he said that we can always add salt from saltshaker :))) The price for the two pizza’s and two drinks was 37 euros. So they charge you like a proper restaurant. This place looks like and feels like a student project, or money laundering hide, or both :))) Bless you guys, I will never forget you!

Very bad, no toppings on the pizzas, burnt and only tomato sauce!! Called a few times, complained, gave them another chance, and again got burnt tasteless tomato sauce pizza!!! No Italians, trash cook

My favorite pizzeria in Groningen! With many vegetarian and vegan options too. A close-knit and warm team that is always enthusiastic! Creates a nice, welcoming atmosphere in the business. Always good quality and ready quickly!

Small place, but with very good atmospehere. The food was delicious, and the waiter was very nice and helpfull as well. The prices are reasonable too. If you want to eat a good italian in the city, come here!

Heel lekker gegeten! Leuk dat er nog veel toppings bij kunnen op je pizza, tegen meerprijs uiteraard. En super vriendelijk en gezellig personeel.

Pizzadeeg was smaakloos. Ook de tiramisu was niet te eten, leek wel bedorven.

Kleine sfeervolle plek. De zalmpasta en de lavacake waren heerlijk. Uiterst vriendelijk personeel. Prima prijs. Ook zijn er veel opties voor vegetariërs en veganisten. Ik raad deze plek zeker aan!

Really good pizzas 🍕 they also have a lot of vegan options. The pizzas are thin and very crunch, very tasty and the size of the pizza satisfying. The service is quick and really polite and nice. We definitely are coming back to try more next time!

Heerlijk gegeten bij di Stefano!!! Ik heb zelf mogen smullen van de pasta pesto, en mijn vriendin is vegetarisch en kon alsnog kiezen uit heel veel aanbod :) zeker een aanrader om te proberen als je in Groningen bent. Daarnaast bezorgen ze ook dus kan je gemakkelijk vanuit huis genieten van dezelfde lekkernijen!

Pizza was okay, but nothing special

Vriendelijke bediening maar de pizza was niet lekker. Ze gebruiken geen steenoven, het deeg heeft weinig smaak en de ingredienten zijn niet allemaal van hoge kwaliteit. Prijzen zijn redelijk.

Goeie pizza's en top personeel, zeker heen gaan.

Hele leuke, kleine pizzeria, helemaal op het eind van het Zuiderdiep (voor mij iig) Klein maar fijn. 😊 Er zijn 2 tafels voor 4, en 2 hoge tafels voor 2 personen. Leuke bediening en erg gastvrij. En niet onbelangrijk: de pizza was superlekker. 🍕

Gisteravond met 20 man gegeten bij Di Stefano! Het was fantastisch!! In 1 woord top, van de bediening (met een gulle glimlach) tot het geweldige eten!! Voor een gezellig avondje met echt lekker Italiaans eten moet je hier zijn!! Wij komen zeer zeker terug!!

Ik zat bij dezelfde groep van 20 personen, wij hebben (alweer) een fantastische avond gehad met z'n allen, heerlijk gegeten, supervriendelijk en gastvrij personeel!

Voor het eerst besteld bij deze pizzaria en werd door thuisbezorgd gebracht. Twee pizza's, die waren wel goed, en 1 salade caprese om te delen. De salade was zeer summier vwb mozzarella, deze kon je bijna niet weer vinden, dat zijn we anders gewend. We hebben onze teleurstelling daarover gemeld en werden vrijwel meteen teruggebeld door een werknemer, die refereerde aan onze klacht en vroeg of hij nog wat voor ons kon betekenen. Heel attent en goed van hen, maar wij bestellen niet weer bij di Stefano.

Had lunch there with the family. Small and familiar. Nice and clean interior. Great service and food. Wonderful Pizza, pasta and desserts. Definetly a must to go to in Groningen.

Twee broodjes en een insalata caprese besteld met collega's. Prijzig voor wat je krijgt. Broodjes waren goed van smaak maar vooral de insalata caprese zorgde voor teleurstelling. Meer dan €6,00 voor tomaat met (als je goed zoekt) wat mozzarella. Dit is zeer beneden de maat. Hierdoor zullen we niet snel nog eens bestellen bij Di Stefano. Helaas! De bezorging was ook nog een veel later dan aangegeven via de website.

Heerlijk gegeten met vrienden op het terras. Super vriendelijke bediening. Echte aanrader. De lekkerste tiramisu ooit! Alles klopt.

Top pizza gegeten, lekkerste in Groningen! Personeel was erg vriendelijk, zelfs een extra fristi erbij gekregen. Super attent!
