Food was heavy and not what we expected: A club sandwich that looks anything but a club sandwich with egg salad and thick chunks of chicken. An oeuf benidict with salmon that tastes more like vinegar than salmon. The result is a heavy stomach.

14/02 was here for the first time, but it certainly won't be the last time. Very good food, nice wine and a nice atmosphere!

Best chocolate dessert in a long time

We had a delicious meal, tasty dishes, only the bouillabaisse was disappointing in terms of the amount of fish. lots of pieces of carrot and onion and some small pieces of fish, taste was fine, but really not a main course, sell this as a soup in advance or many more types of fish as it should be.

If you are in Maastricht for a weekend, Cinq is highly recommended. Ate here on a Friday evening. It's a nice, hip place, friendly and quick service and we thought the food was great! The dishes are beautifully presented and of high quality. Tournedos was very tender and the pork belly and duck breast were also superb. We will definitely come back again.

Nice place, along the canal. Classic selection food. The glass of wine is a bit expensive. The red wine was cold. It should have been time. The shrimp croquettes are very very good to recommend. We chose the cheese burgers which are very, very good. We saw on the tables next to very appetizing croque-monsieurs, a place. To recommend.

Cozy atmosphere and delicious food.

Delicious food, cozy restaurant and nice menu. The cuisine is more Italian than French and the portions are really (too) big, we couldn't manage a dessert....

Atmosphere is nicer than it looks in the photos. A really modern restaurant with a lot of choice of good dishes. Service was perfect.

Heerlijk gegeten Vitelli Tonato was goed maar de sla die erop lag zag er niet echt fris uit. Dus matig Buikspek was erg lekker en goed gegaard. Lamsschenkel was ook goddelijk Spaghetti met bospaddestoelen met truffel was lekker maar veel spaghetti in verhouding. Al met al goed gegeten. Bediening is erg vriendelijk en vraagt goed wanneer de volgende gang moet komen. Heerlijke wijnen !

Reserved for 3 people on a Friday evening at 7pm. When ordering the main course, it turned out that only one dish was available (pasta vongole). Another person had to make a different choice. Then the employee came back and it turned out that this last pasta vongole was also sold out and we had to make another choice. Stains on the plate with the starter we received. Very unfortunate, we expected more from this restaurant.

Gisteren hier voor eerst gegeten. Het was zeker niet slecht maar voor dit soort prijzen mag er echt wel meer interesse zijn van de bediening. Ik heb aangegeven dat de fazant taai was, behalve “ik geef het door” kwam er geen reactie terug. Ik moest zelf vragen voor nog een glas wijn. Terwijl de tafel naast mij keurig gevraagd werd of de jas opgehangen mocht worden, of ze een fles water wilden, etc. Het lijkt alsof er een soort van “niet serieus nemen” die 2 mannen. De meest van de bediening waren meer met kletsen bezig dan met gasten.

Cinq is een van onze favorieten restaurants waar wij graag eten. Leuke sfeer en goed eten. Dit jaar met kerst ook hier gaan eten. Dat viel tegen. De sfeer was prima, de bediening gezellig en professioneel. Wat erg tegenviel was het 3 gangenmenu dat voor 70€ aangeboden werd. Geen enkele amuse en diepvries nagerechten. Het voorgerecht was met bloedworst die helemaal week was, hierop redelijk smakeloze zuurkool en een stukje Fazant dat taai was. Hoofdgerecht hert dat goed was en tong (15€ extra) prima gebakken. De nagerechten waren een aanfluiting. Uit de diepvries. Daarvoor ga ik niet uit eten. moelleux in een restaurant hoort vers gemaakt te worden, zeker in een menu van deze prijs. De keuken is prima in de gebruikelijke gerechten maar een kerstmenu serveren was minder succesvol. Ciao Frenske

Nous y allons régulièrement les plats sont très bons mais certains jours à midi la jeune serveuse brune n’est pas très aimable et un peu rustre avec les clients francophones dommage, nous l avions déjà constaté en été en terrasse .Nous préférons le serveur qui parle français ou la serveuse blonde qui eux sont à l écoute de la clientèle et très aimable.

Unfortunately, the last experience was very disappointing. I had already made a reservation 6 weeks in advance, but we did not get a nice table. Upon arrival we were supposedly allowed to choose a spot, but all the tables we pointed to were not allowed. We got a table at the back of the restaurant and looked at a wall all evening and didn't experience any of the ambiance. When we expressed our dissatisfaction that we would really rather sit somewhere else, nothing was done about this (even though there were still seats available all evening). The cod I ordered was delicious, the combination with too hard sauerkraut and turnip puree sauce was just not tasty. The Brussels sprouts with the venison steak were too hard and therefore unedible. All in all not a pleasant experience.

Made a mistake with reservation (reserved a week too late). Fortunately there was still room and we were helped very well! Once again a very tasty meal and excellent service. Highly recommended!

We spent our sunday night, after the graduation at the CINQ. It was the perfect choice. We had a beautiful table in the side room with awesome interior & design. The personal was lovely & helpful with every recommendation. Every dish on the menue was desirable and our choices were heelijk! What a unforgettable night for us - THX CINQ!

Was great food and a nice atmosphere

The reception was terrible!! We had to wait 15 minutes before our reserved table became available. We were in the way everywhere. It was raining outside and there was a traffic jam to get in. Then a table was available but unfortunately there were only 3 chairs and we were 4 people. So I waited for a while and eventually a stool was placed and I sat on it for the first 10 minutes until a “normal” chair was available. How very bad!! All in all it took half an hour until we were finally settled at the table. The staff, on the other hand, did their utmost to remove our dissatisfaction. That was partially successful. We had a wonderful meal there. But the beginning was horrible!!!

Our starter was served before we had received our aperitif, which was a shame. Controls are functional; brings food away but makes no real contact with the guests. Doesn't make a difference. Price-quality ratio is not quite right, prices are on the high side.

The food was good and the restaurant is nicely situated with a beautiful view. The burrata and the Rendang croquettes were our favorites. We thoroughly enjoyed the food that we went twice during our weekend visit.

In the {Dutch} restaurant classification there is a maximum of 3 stars, with Google Maps you can rate companies with 5 stars. Of course you cannot compare those classifications, but here - at Cinq - they are worth these 5 stars: excellent cuisine and a regularly changing, always nice menu. Great staff and... not unimportant: the price/quality increase is completely fine. Keep it that way! After at least 36 visits, I think I have some right to speak. Enjoy at Cinq!

Op onze eerste avond in Maastricht hadden we dit alvast gereserveerd na aanraden van vrienden. Het is een prachtige plek en ook het restaurant en terras zijn heel mooi en sfeervol ingericht. Een gezellige en attente bediening en een mooie menukaart. Een goede wijnkaart. Er wordt goed bediend, niet te langzaam en niet te snel. Keurige mannen en vrouwen met horeca-verstand. Wat fijn! We hebben heerlijk gegeten met zijn drieën, in totaal voor 256 euro met wijn, voor- hoofd- en nagerecht en koffie. Niet goedkoop maar zeker ook niet te duur voor wat het was. Top! ik wil nog een keer terug, en dan in de zomer op het terras.

Schöne Lage, schönes Ambiente. Wir waren zum wiederholten Male zum Abschluss eines Besuchs in Maastricht im Cinq essen. Der Service funktioniert reibungslos, das Personal ist aufmerksam. Wir haben ausgezeichnet gegessen. Es war sehr schmackhaft. Die Qualität und auch die Zubereitung des Essen ist auf höchstem Niveau, ohne Chichi. Manche Sterneküche kommt da nicht mit.

Excellent food (we‘ve had a vast variety of deer, coquilles st jacques, bouillabaisse, spaghetti vongole, desserts etc), very active and kind service, nice ambience - great evening.

Had a lovely lunch on the very attractive sunny terrace outside on the water. The ladies and gentlemen at the service were prompt, friendly and polite. Made us feel welcome. You don't see that often anymore and for me it is worth 5 stars!

Although the tournedos was excellent, that's far from it. After waiting for more than half an hour, we asked if we could order something to drink... We really understand that it is difficult to find staff, but such unmotivated staff (with the exception of a few) are rarely encountered in a restaurant that pretends to radiate atmosphere and conviviality. The moullieux was of supermarket quality, and not even warmed up. Just cold and not even liquid chocolate. A no go, return it and have it deducted from the account. When asked what taste the wine had, the answer was simple: I don't know. It's all a shame, there are really restaurants in Maastricht where you can eat much better for the money. Here the price/quality has been completely lost.

It continues to be enjoyable at Cinq. First-class service, nice varied menu and the dishes are excellent. Surprising flavors and fair portioning. It's nice that there are so many good wines available by the glass. That makes a visit extra special. The expansion is great and gives even more customers the opportunity to enjoy this fine restaurant!
