Clapham Specialty Coffee in Museumkwartier

Very nice specialty coffee beans and pastries. 2 options of beans to choose from. We tried the Kenyan ones and they were fruity.

Solid coffee served by genuinely nice people but the space is so tight and narrow that you feel it the moment you take a sip. The way the coffee goes down your throat mirrors the room itself: a gentle swallow immediately followed by, “Wow… everything here is really compact.” Great brew, lovely staff, but the atmosphere makes you feel like you are the one being swallowed. Funny experience once, but probably not one I’d linger for.

I paid €5.10 for a small chai tea, and when I came back an hour later to use the toilet, they told me it was “broken”. If you charge that much, the least you can do is offer proper service or make sure your facilities actually work. Really disappointing. Also chai was tiny and average.

A delightful local coffee shop. Very friendly welcome from the staff. Nice selection of pastries, the cheese & ham pastry was excellent. Good flat white too. If I lived in Amsterdam this would be my local ☕️ 🥐 of choice. Great place ❤️👏👏👏👏

Incredible venue. The coffee and food is delicious. The atmosphere is perfect to catch up with friends or to study. A special shoutout to the new barista. I think his name was Ross? Really lovely guy and friendly.

The pistachio cruffin was amazing, and my oat chai latte delicious and served in the perfect mug 👌🏽 this place is dog friendly 🐶💕 and inspired on Clapham South (SW12) - a very important place for me . My experience here couldn’t be better 🥰

Lovely cafe in a quiet area near the Albert Hotel. We enjoyed our morning coffee and tea here while we were staying in Amsterdam. The barista was very accommodating finding us a little place to sit even though the cafe was very busy. The breakfast tea is served in a tea pot with loose leaf tea which is so much better than many places just bringing you a tea bag!! Coffee was good too!

A cozy little spot with very pretty, Instagram-worthy pastries. The drinks were great and the staff made the place feel welcoming. I tried the lemon poppy seed loaf — not really my taste. The croissant with cheese and the pistachio cruffin were tasty, though I’ve had better in the city. Overall, a nice place, maybe a bit overpriced, but still worth a visit.

If you sit outside, you are right next to cars and trams, if you sit inside, it is not cozy at all with all the dirty walls (see photo). Very expensive for the atmosphere.

Don’t know difference between cappuccino and flat white. Flat white should not contain much milk, you should be able to taste coffee.

A borderline 5 star experience. The cappuccino was really nice and milky. The texture of the milk was really silky. The coffee flavour was not very prominent. The ham and cheese croissant was not very impressing - the amount of cheese and ham was pretty small and the texture of the paste was on the drier side. Overall I’d recommend their coffee but not the pastries

Came to Amsterdam on vacation and tried a lot of different shops. I can say without a doubt this is the best espresso In the city. They also have delicious pastries. The service is also great and all of the baristas are very nice.

Great pain au chocolate, atmosphere, staff. Would have been cool to have more options, like croissants or cinnamon rolls. Coffee was ok.

One of the best coffee in town!! Came for a mid day flat white and was made perfectly, the coffee blend was tasty, not acid and kinda perfectly flat. The service is good enough, limited seats on weekends afternoons. Outside bench and seating area with a quiet street view.

I'm always skeptical when I read reviews praising something as the best matcha in town – especially in Amsterdam (or in the Netherlands at all). But this matcha is honestly the best in town. The milk was perfectly frothed, the matcha was excellently mixed, and finally a place where you could really taste the matcha instead of a weak bowl of green milk. The pistachio cruffin has also been approved. 💚

10 euro. One cup of coffee and a slice of cake. I do not understand why it has to be this expensive? Prices are not shown so you just have to guess. Ordinary coffee interior, coffee beans the same as they serve at any coffee shop in Amsterdam. The nerve to ask 5eur for a cup, at some point it's not inflation but just purely a rip off.

This is our first day in Amsterdam but we can already tell that this is the best coffee we’ve had on this trip! 10/10 !!! The vibe and the service is superb!!!!

Great spot to stop in before exploring Vondelpark. The lemon loaf was good. The icing had a great lemon-y flavor, the cake was just a little dry. The banana bread was great though, and stayed moist for hours in its to-go bag. The inside was nice to sit in and on a warm day the sun shines right into the windows, making the place very bright.

A perfect coffee spot. I had a cheesecake and americano which were both delicious. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable cafe visit!

Flat white felt a bit bland, but not bad. The roast tasted safe and unexciting. Milk nicely steamed. The poppyseed-lemon cake slice was stale and excruciating boring. Poppyseed and lemon might have been somewhere in the vicinity when it was baked, but their influence on the cake was undetectable. Aftertaste lingered cheaply. Mediocrity draped in a specialty coffee costume.

Small coffee shop with a very cosy atmosphere. Latte was perfect, little wait time.

Solid 4.5 stars espresso. It's a little bit too bitter to my taste, but it might please others. Consider to pay 3.5 euros per double shot.

Not only very good coffee - the pecan pie was absolutely wonderful.  Not a chance to believe it was gluten free!  Definitely worth a visit.

A bit overrated. Coffee is good but no idea which blend they use, no option to choose. Pastry is good but doesn't seem very fresh and not that sweet. Very slow service, almost 10 min to get a coffee despite three people working behind.

Pricey. 5.30 euro for a latte vs 4.50 euro average in the rest of Amsterdam center (regular milk). There is no service at the table, which could maybe justify the extra cost? Staff got confused with some orders and looked stressed. The coffee was okay but I would not return. Can't speak about the pastries but they are the resellers, not made by them. So I was not curious to try.

As an Aussie I am SO happy this place exists in Amsterdam. They have the best coffee in the area. Do yourself a favour and check them out. Especially if the suns out as they have a great outdoor seating area.
