I love visiting Amsterdam for their independent coffee shops, and this one really stood out. The whole concept is based on a personal mission and love for reefs, which is genuinely interesting. The décor is clean, modern, and unique — it’s like walking into a museum/coffee shop hybrid. The atmosphere is cozy, and my matcha was fresh and made properly with no artificial flavouring. Loved my experience here — a really special spot.

Flat white The coffee is delicious and well-seasoned. The place is a bit small, so if you want to sit, you'll have to wait due to the lack of tables and chairs.

Tried 30+ cafes in Amsterdam just for matcha and cloud is my favorite by far. I’ve been here over 20 times and wow it is amazing every time. Incredible brownie and chai latte as well. BEST MATCHA EVER.

The matcha is great! Not watery it’s really good. But the only down side is spacing. If it’s rainy or cold, it will be challenging to find seats.

i think the best matcha in ams so far! 🍵 i can really taste the matcha (look at the green color) umami and not too bitter, tried the hojicha as well and oh man it taste gewd <3 (+a point plus for the portion, so big) the place is kinda small but if you got the table that face the street that’s a really nice one! ♥️

Lovely café with a minimalist interior and very friendly staff who also give good advice when choosing. The matcha was really delicious and the perfect refreshment for a walk around Amsterdam, super refreshing! I’d definitely come back, and the best part is you don’t have to wait long for your matcha.

We had the Cloud matcha, I believe it’s called, & it was definitely high grade matcha! So for all matcha lovers like myself, add this one to your list, it’s worth it 🤭 Vibes were good, we did go around 11am so it wasn’t too crowded but all seats were indeed taken so if you want to come and chill a bit keep that in mind!

I tried the Matcha Latte and it was really nice! 🍵 I ordered it with almond milk — just a little sweet, and super smooth. I loved it and I’ll definitely be back for more! 💚

Had the iced hojicha latte, had a sit down with my current read while trying to enjoy the atmosphere. Not sure if it was the layout of the interiors or if it was the way seating was arranged into just a long bench stuck in the middle, but it felt awkward and uncomfortable. The best way to enjoy is if you’re sitting out by the windows, then it’s fun to people watch in between reads. I love the fact they don’t use plastic straws for indoor drinks.

Food was delicious, cafe is cute and it's self service.

I used to love this place for its very high quality matcha and hojicha. But steep increase in prices means I will come less. It seems to become a touristy spot.

Excellent service! After a small mishap with my coffee they had zero issues remaking it and even caught the issue before I did.

The matcha itself is great, great quality, but the milk foam is not. Its too airy, not creamy. After trying 3 times and paying 6€ for a matcha that its not perfect, I’m not gonna normalize such price and I’ll go less often. +The environment inside is super nice.

On-point matcha and mochi, plus a variety of drinks like ceremonial cacao and hojicha. I keep coming back! It’s an artsy café that also hosts workshops and has laptop-friendly spaces.

Happy accident to find this place on a walk! Matcha prepared the ‘correct’ way with a bamboo whisk instead of a pre-made pour. Their signature drink is lovely. Didn’t need to use their indoor space, but seems to double as an art gallery. Cool vibe.

Great spot! I love all the sustainability initiatives, workshops, and art exhibitions. Always something new and cool about mushrooms or insects or feminism when I go there!

Can’t say much for the food since i didn’t try it however the matcha was the worst matcha i’ve ever tasted. It was so strong my tongue turned green from the powder at the bottom of my drink. No matter how much sweetener or syrup you put it was incredibly bitter and rank. Threw my €16 into the bin. What a waste.

The most exquisite matcha and chai! We love it at Cloud and always visit whenever we’re in Amsterdam. This is our second year in a row and the vibes teamed with the drinks / people watching by the window makes for the perfect afternoon!

Cloud is a real special place! We got a matcha, cappuccino and some pastries. The matcha by far the best in city. Highly recommend for a stop during your city walks.

I recently visited Cloud with my sister and her friend, and we were all excited to try it since we’re big matcha fans. The café also had a lemon cake that we decided to try, which, in my opinion, paired perfectly with the matcha. The interior is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and chat. We ended up staying for more than an hour, simply enjoying the atmosphere. Our iced matcha lattes were delicious, and my sister really enjoyed the Cloud Special, which is a coffee-based drink. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, adding to the positive experience. We also noticed they sell recycled cups, paintings, and sunglasses, which gave the place a unique touch, although we didn’t explore those items in detail.

I really liked the iced matcha latte! It’s one of the best ones I’ve had in Amsterdam. The venue is super cute, it’s located near the canal so sitting here was very calming just watching bikes passing by :)) definitely recommend! It was 6 euros for iced matcha latte, a bit overpriced but I guess normal for Amsterdam now

If you want real good coffee or matcha come here. There aren't a lot of seating areas with one large shared table in the middle so just beware of that.

It is a nice place to have a cup of coffee and spend some time with a laptop. The atmosphere is soft and calm, good for productivity. I enjoyed sitting by the spacious windows with the view to the canal houses. The Cloud is also an event space with exhibitions and workshops.

One of my favorite matcha’s in town! Very earthy, strong & delicious! Service is good. Staff is really kind. The cafe itself is a lovely place to do work (lots of natural light and open space). Not necessarily a date spot (haha) but really worth the visit! 🍀

Kinda disappointed with how the matcha latte came out, especially for a dedicated matcha cafe. Very milky - flavour of matcha was barely there but maybe that was because of all the clumps? Was expecting better for the premium price you pay here. Did enjoy the nice, open atmosphere of the cafe but in the end that’s not why you’d come here.
