We were standing in Javastraat, baffled, in front of a packed Surinamese restaurant, and were pointed to Café Cosu! What a surprise! We had a truly fantastic meal and received a very warm welcome. We'll definitely remember this, thank you!

Super beautiful local neighborhood café. Completely renovated in 2025 with a keen eye for preserving the old charm. The toilets display wall-filling photos of the street from the 70s 🥰. The owner has a passion for the business and the terrace is lovely by the water with the late sun!

Weteringstraat 37It's been 10 years since we first came to this bar (we have visitors from Toronto Canada). We had such a good time previously that we made sure we found you again and you did not disappoint...a busy bar with a wonderful fireplace upstairs...such great atmosphere. We love the simple cheese plate too. :-)
