Good cappuccino, flavorful (although sometimes not hot enough). Good almond croissants. Service is a bit hit-or-miss, sometimes you get a nice smile, but more often a sense the staff would rather be elsewhere. Giving 4-stars because of the coffee.

Great café! I stopped by yesterday to get some freshly roasted beans and the barista was super helpful and gave me a spot-on recommendation. The coffee was genuinely good — good enough to get a Colombian to buy Brazilian coffee, which says a lot. Really appreciated the straightforward, friendly service ❤️

Very average food and coffee for a high price (even for Amsterdam). The person who waited our table was absolutely disoriented and confused, but friendly.

This is a great place for a good cappuccino. The croissant looked delicious but was bone dry.

Quite rude server and waiters. They seem to only offer discounts via keep cup when it suits them. Have gone for months with sometimes a discount offerred and others not, dependent on who is serving. When asking about the discount they say (oh only when its above X euro do we offer it). their own menu states you ALWAYS get a discount... i will stop going to this location and happily pay more now at the BLACK brewer down the street after this

We had great cappuccino and latte. Banana cake was somewhat not our taste but the waiter was kind to exchange with an apple pie. It was professional and friendly manner. We appreciate it so much.

I ordered an avocado and egg sandwich. It was a kind of salty mush on a roll with avocado spread (so not real avocado either) for which they charge 15 euros. Best to avoid this place if you really want to try something.

Best coffee I’ve had in the Netherlands. Definitely worth a stop to/ from ferry.

Ordered yoghurt bowl, and on the picture you can see - it came with a rotten banana. When I asked the waiter to have a look, he didn’t see anything wrong, so I had to ask to replace it. Then, they brought it with just more apple instead.. we had to wait so long to get served too, although it was Friday afternoon and empty. The only positive was the waitress from Oceania, very sweet and nice.

A fantastic breakfast experience next to Amsterdam-Zuid train station. Enjoyable casual atmosphere, staff was incredibly friendly and we enioyed a customized order of avacado toast, banana bread and almond croissant. They also made me a special dark hot chocolate with espresso shot added (like a mocha) which was recommended by the waitress. If you find yourself in the Zuid area you owe it yourself to stop by!

Great atmosphere, this is a very trendy little shop. Lots of options if you like alternative food choices.

July 29, 2025, I was here for a meeting. I was the first, and a glass of something was immediately placed in front of me. My order, as requested, wasn't taken until the others had arrived. That was three different coffees, and they tasted great. The music was quite loud for our meeting, but that was immediately turned down as well. This is already my second visit, and I can confidently say they serve the best coffee in the area. The coffee is always smooth, delicious, and truly a treat for the soul! The desserts are wonderful too — I’ve tried the banana bread and almond croissant, and my son really enjoyed the chocolate croissant. A huge thank you to the friendly staff who create such a warm and cozy atmosphere and make this incredible coffee. Highly recommend and will definitely be back!

I really liked the coffee. Service could have been better walked in and sat down af 8:46, went to the bar at 8:58 while there wasn’t that much people. Overall atmosphere it is spacious but def Zuid As crowd but that makes sense ;)

Horrible food, maybe not our taste and for the quality super expensive for 2 toasties and 2 coffees.

Specifically asking for an iced cappuccino and still a getting a cup full of milk on ice and a single shot of espresso. Not steaming the milk, not even shaking the milk carton. Not only does frothing the milk elevate te drink and slightly sweeten the milk, but who wants to drink a cup of milk when asking for a cappuccino? Coffee is great but will not order an iced drink again.

Gorgeous little coffee spot! In a great location and very spacious. It will definitely be my regular spot for coffee with my toddler. Only thing is, they don’t have high chairs.

I thought I was imagining it, but someone else said in the review too that the coffee smelled fishy. Unfortunately, smelled it only when i was already in the train and half done with it. Now having a bit of an upset stomach. Not sure if it's related, but haven't eaten anything unusual today to have it so bad.

Nice service, but I had to wait a very long time. My order was not received. That could happen, but I didn't like it either. Ate it because I was so hungry. Indicated that I did not like it. Nothing was done with it...it would have been nice if there had been a coffee or something like that in return, but alas.

My big oat cappuccino barely had foam. If u give people latte milk, than at least make a little latte art. The coffee flavour was also a tad too bitter and had fishy aromas. Not worth the 5,60.

Grabbed a quick breakfast at Coffee & Coconuts before work. Solid spot. Food came out fast, portion sizes were generous, and the coffee hit the mark. Tried the Kimchi Toast with extra bacon—bold, flavorful, and delivered exactly what the menu promised. A good, no-nonsense start to the day.

The kimchi sandwich tries too many things at once and the aromas do not really deliver together. The gold milk drink and hot chocolate barely taste of anything other than milk. The choco cookie is in all honesty lower quality than box cookies from a supermarket. The other location had way better food when I last went.

French toast was overly sweet, the kimchi sandwich - overly sour, but the choice of dishes is nice. Warm chocolate was delicious!

Even though their coffee always tastes great, their water glass & coffee cup was smelling so much egg that it made those undrinkable and the experience disgusting. I'm normally a regular customer. Either clean the dishwasher or put the dishes bit more clean...

Excellent coffee and top service.

The waitresses here show little regard for customers. They come to take your order multiple times, even though you've already given it. Then they forget your order without offering a proper apology, as if you shouldn't have come to eat there in the first place. There's no smile, no hospitality—nothing. The food is ok, but not too fulfilling and overpriced.

The waitress took our order, 30 minutes of waiting later another waitress comes and says sorry our order was not noted. Not even a blunt apology, but trying to pretend that nothing wrong even happened in the first place. Quite a dull atmosphere. The food itself was decent but way too overpriced for quantity and quality.

The cozy and well thought out atmosphere. It is in the business center and has good spaces to sit with your laptop. Attentive staff and good coffees. If I would return 👍🏻

Great place! It looks really nice from inside and it's also great to sit outside. Very friendly staff. The cold coconut coffee was amazing, quite expensive, but the flavour was great. The kimchi toast was ok, there was way too much kimchi in my opinion.

I picked an espresso coffee beans with taste profile that sounded great, but it turned out to be very disappointing, thin, tasteless coffee.

Nice modern place in the office area, but the service is slow and poor. The coffee is good and the croissants are good, but if you order toast, they are weak.

Very rude service- even for Amsterdam. Shocking actually. We came here on Sunday 26 May in the afternoon, and because we live nearby we could have easily beeen regular customers. Besides the terrible service the coffee was only average, the lemon poppy seed cake was nothing special. What a shame the concept is cute. We won’t return. Don’t waste your money— if you are in the neighborhood, Doppio or BLAK are WAY better.

I visited this place on a Saturday late morning. I only had a cup of coffee, but it wasn't crowded and I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was friendly. I will be returning again.

The food is okay, but the service horrible. We were served by the rudest waitress. Since she didn’t come to our table for about twenty minutes (despite the restaurant being empty ), we raised our hand calmly. Her reaction was to mock our behaviour, and aggressively ask what gave us the idea to raise our hand as we are not in school. Afterwards she spilled half of a coffee on one of us, which really didn’t seem like an accident.

The cafe is clean and bright and they have nice croissants. “downtown croissant” is quite special and I like it. Maple syrup makes it a bit too sweet tho. A lot of spaces and tables which are nice. It feels not very lively and lacks of welcoming feeling, more like a business area.

I recently visited Coffee & Coconuts and was absolutely delighted by the experience. The fusion of rich coffee and creamy coconut in their signature drinks is a game-changer. The vibe of the place is just so warm and welcoming, with a cozy, laid-back atmosphere that made me want to linger longer. I tried their coconut capuccino, and it was a perfect blend of flavors - not too sweet, with just the right kick of espresso. The staff was friendly and the place had a nice, relaxed vibe. It's definitely become one of my go-to spots for a unique coffee fix and a serene spot to unwind."

The food is quite overpriced and not good, got the signature sandwich and the flavour was not cohesive and at the same time lacking. It also broke apart at the end and was difficult to eat. The service was decent and setting is fine.

I had a brownie and a hot chocolate. It was delicious. The size of the brownie was decent. And the texture was perfect.

Coffee is nice but avo and egg scramble was very poor. Mashed avo tasted as though it came from packaging and eggs like they were reheated. Bread was drenched in oil. Its a pretty basic dish in most cafes so it's quite surprising they'd get it so wrong.

Three things I loved about this place: 1- The white noise in the background is very peaceful. Normally when I go to a cafe to work, the background noise is high and disturbing. But here it’s calm and comforting. 2- Delicious food and juices - especially hot chicken pocket and royal apple (see the photos) 3- Friendly staff, smiling all the time and very helpful.

The coffee with coconut milk and the brownie tasted excellent, but so close to the Zuidas it comes with a hefty price tag. The atmosphere is also quite businesslike, but with very friendly and enthusiastic service.

Great place for a brunch, coffee or lunch. Good quality specialty coffee, they have their roasting machine in the back in plain site. Gets pretty crowded during lunchtime on weekdays, however still offers plenty free tables on weekends. As for me, this place is definitely cozier than the old Coffee&Coconut in de Pijp

The coffee and food is quite good. The place has a tropical ambience which I like a lot. I also love their banana bread and the hot chocolate! I come here often to work, relax and meet up with people. Also suitable for coffee take away. Oh and they sell home made ice cream in the summer, yummy! :)

A delicious breakfast and coffee. I had the coconut coffee which was great. To eat I had the French toast, which was also great. Lots of fresh fruit and the Caramel was amazing!

The coffee is very nice, but the croissant is so so. I also love the batch brew coffee which always change beans. So, you can try many bean. Also they sell good beans for brewing at home in a reasonable price.

Eher ungewöhnliche Frühstückskarte: es ist eher was für Menschen, die sich trauen, etwas auszuprobieren. Was serviert wird ist aber lecker. Besonders gut fanden wir den zurückhaltenden, aber gleichzeitig aufmerksamen Service. Hier kann man, auch an einem Sonntag, ganz in Ruhe frühstücken ohne in irgendeiner Form Zeitdruck zu spüren. Dazu schönes Interieur und angenehme Musik.

I’ve been to the location in De Pijp, and I think this one in Zuid stays short compared to the other one. While the menu is similar/almost the same, the vibe and atmosphere is not great. It seems like they’re understaffed, it lacks some coziness. Food was ok, and waiting time is less compared to De Pijp

Too expensive. Cappuccino XL to go is a normal cup, but you pay too much

The service is very disappointing, even when there's only a few customers, we have been seated for more than 15mins to just get the menu and afterwards, waited for more than 20mins to get the bill... Not worth it If you read some middle to poor reviews, you can see a pattern there.. 😕

I ordered the French toast which was very nice and also a good quantity. Coffee is really good and the interiors are nice. Service could be better and more proactive.
