Cute place! Nice to study in but gets a little dark since there's only like the big window at the front. But cozy vibes. Food is a little pricey especially if you stay for long but good to also just sit with a coffee and work

Visited today after having a good experience in the store in The Hague. The customer service we experienced in Utrecht was appalling. Two of our toasties were placed in the oven (by someone with “pink” space buns) who then didn’t tell anyone they were there and left the building with trash - leaving our food to burn. We approached the counter and spoke to someone with “blonde” hair who advised they would bring them to our table. They didn’t. “Spacebuns” came back in and was informed by “blonde” that they had left our toasties. They both laughed whilst scraping off the burnt parts before brining them to us. No apology, no offer of “new” toasties and we were told to “enjoy” the food! Definitely won’t be returning

LAPTOP FRIENDLY!!!! A bit more expensive but it was worth it for being able to plug in and work well. White chocolate latte - more expensive and it was just a mocha. Yum toastie and good size - €7

Absolutely the best place to get a coffee to go, or to work on your laptop. Staff is very knowledgeable about coffee, friendly and helpful.

The staff do everything they can to make you feel as uncomfortable as possible... Before they even say goodbye, they've already listened to you twice and laughed at you a few times.

Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the cake, which clearly came from pre-made molds and was served frozen, even after being placed on the plate. For a café, we expected more freshness and quality. However, the coffee was very good and nicely prepared.

While the matcha was a bit underwhelming and lacked the bold flavor you were hoping for, the shortcake was outstanding—perfectly made and truly delicious. The standout was the service: friendly, helpful, and respectful of dietary concerns. The staff went the extra mile to check ingredients, which is always appreciated. The interior was also lovely and inviting. Overall, a very good spot with room for improvement in the drinks.

Slow service. Bring enough time just place an order as a non local. At table menu via scan and order. When you are finally ready to place your order you will find a) you HAVE to pay online and b) they accept only ONE online payment service which you may have to sign up to. Therefore we had to get up again, stand in line for another 7 minutes. The 3 different Matcha were very tasty but pricy too. A good thing so is that you are charged 10ct extra for take away plastic waste if ordering to go.

Guaranteed the grossest toilet in Utrecht. There used to be a sign that said you had to report it if the toilet was dirty, but even that is no longer there. If the NVWA were to inspect here, they would have to close the place. In addition, the slowness of the baristas is unparalleled.

The baristas are just chatting with each other, it takes them 10 minutes to make 1 coffee. A rare disorderly mess here. In addition: it is incomprehensible that customers here are allowed to walk very fast and make video calls. It is of course fine that people work on their laptops. But every time I sit here, people act as if they are the only ones in the world and are disturbing the entire place with their loud video calls. Coffee Company allows this. The toilet is always dirty and there are almost never any paper towels.

Unfortunately, ordering via QR code is not really my thing. It is convenient, but there is little or no contact with the barista(s). While service in the form of making contact and chatting is so important, it makes the customer feel heard and seen. The coffee was fine, and the banana bread tasty, and very generously sliced ​​(unintentionally I think?)

I had to pick a location for a casual business meeting. Since we both enjoy a good coffee we decided to try this place. The atmosphere was really nice. It was very cozy and relaxed while leaving plenty of room for good conversations. They had special seats dedicated to talking and others dedicated to working so that you wont disturb others. The coffee was really good. You can customize it if you want, but I enjoy the simplicity so I went with a capuchino. They have foods as well in case you want a bite. It was pretty busy, but not too crowded. Most importantly, it wasn't noisy.

Nice tent with a wide range of drinks. The only downside for me is the cat that walks around freely. For a catering industry where food is prepared, I find this a bit strange given the diseases that animals can spread.

Usually I experienced good service in here, but today I went to the cafe, and the one of the staffs was very unwelcoming. From getting order, payment to the closing, never felt they have a good service. Very disappointing service because of the one staff, while the other staff who I assume a barista was very nice. Hope the service improves in the future. It is not that you should always smile and be perfect to the customer as they are not customers’ entertainer. She was not even fit into the bare minimum. I understand it is very busy time and they are physically and mentally tired, but don’t have to spread the bad energy to the customer. Just don’t be rude to customer :) which is basic.

Love this location of coffee company. I always come here to study and pesto the cat is a daily regular who helps by taking naps on your lap.

Good spot for remote working! There are cooler and warmer spots, the WiFi is good enough, and there are plenty of sockets in reach to charge your laptop.

I had a matcha lemonade, and a lemon bar. The lemonade was fine, nothing special. The lemon bar was really tasty although a bit on the pricey side. Unfortunately it is a noisy environment. Coffee machines sounds and talking is expected of course, but the music is rather loud (lots of bass). It's also pretty warm inside. The general atmosphere was relaxed, there's a black cat snoozing on one of the benches.

Great place for working or studying. Most coffee shops are small/cozy with limited seating, but this is somewhere you can easily find space to work. Four different seating areas on the first floor alone, plus seating upstairs and outside. There are also outlets at the long table downstairs, which is a huge plus. Coffee is great (can’t speak for the food; didn’t order any—but they have a cheap breakfast + coffee option on the menu👍👍), and baristas are nice. Good music playing, and it’s not too loud. Also, no speakers in the area where I’m sitting (long table downstairs), which I love because it’s not distracting or too loud to take calls. WiFi is free/unsecured and seems to have a strong signal. No issues so far.

I just had a coffee and a cappuccino and asked for water for the dog. You collect the order and bring it to the table and then bring everything back when you're finished.

Exellent vegan cakes and plant-based drinks. Upstairs seemed good for working. A gentle black cat walked in, appeared to check her territory, then soon left as she entered.

The sweets are stale, they took a cinnamon bun, it felt like it was 3 days old, the cake was also stale and hard. I don't recommend it. The coffee is good.

Above average coffee place, with a good machine and pro staff. The food they have for a quick bite is quite unhealthy but tasty. The atmosphere is nice and modern, with surprisingly lot of spaces to sit which is nice. My feedback would be: add more vegan, lactose free, and/or healthy snack options instead :)

Coffee was ok. But what I have to comment on is the service. I’ve worked in customer service around the same age as the employees of this place. I understand it’s difficult when it’s busy and you’re under a lot of stress. But one of them really lost their cool this morning and was quite rude - which by the way takes away the complete object of the message they were trying to get across in the first place. Anyways, it’s not a good look. And it creates a bit of an anecdotal story that can be shared with friends and acquaintances. The benefit of the doubt has to be given but the moral of the story has to be to treat every single customer with respect when trying to get across any kind of message. That’s surely the bare minimum no?

And another little excursion into the world of roasting companies that I would like to tell you about: First impression: This little café is located in the sweet streets of Utrecht. There are a few tables and chairs in front of the door that invite you to linger. Inside, the visitor is greeted by a counter that dominates the room with various seats on two levels. Service: The staff greets you warmly and prepares your order with care. The contact is service-oriented and friendly. Prices: Here I was a bit surprised by the price gap between drinks and food. I found the prices for the drinks fair and normal, and I was surprised by the size of some pieces of cake in relation to the price. Maybe I overlooked a detail that justified the price? Possible! Eat: From a small but fine selection of breakfast to cakes, everything is included. None of it gives the impression of being mass-produced; everything seems to have been produced in-house. But more importantly... it also tastes very tasty. Beverages: The cappuccino in particular was delicious and well made. We couldn't identify a direct taste, despite trying it several times. But that didn't make him any worse. It seemed as if the bean could do even more. Ambience: We weren't so sure here. Between: "Cool, I can work here in a relaxed manner", "cool here I can meet friends in a relaxed manner" and "a bit untidy and chaotic here", everything was there. That made the stay interesting. We lacked the clear style and a bit of order to really feel comfortable. Conclusion: I'm stuck between 3 and 4 stars and would love to give it 3.5. The reason is the lack of order and style, the taste of the cappuccino and, last but not least, the warmth of the reception, which I was able to experience more clearly in other roasteries. All in all, there are many personal aspects of mine and criticism at a high level, hence the conclusion: I'm happy to try it again and see if another day makes 2 of the 3 points of criticism disappear. P.S.: The opening times are really great, as they also make it possible to enjoy a cappuccino in a roastery early in the day.

Het zit altijd vol met laptops en die dan ook nog eens uitgebreid en minutenlang gaan lopen bellen alsof het hun persoonlijke kantoor is, is zo irritant…. Nieuwe tafeltjes buiten zijn geen succes. Het is wat duur. Vaak zijn producten uitverkocht. En inderdaad is het personeel soms wat langzaam en komt over alsof ze lekker de tijd nemen. Letterlijk op hun telefoon gaan kijken terwijl je staat te wachten om te bestellen. Opruimen van lege kopjes enzo mag ook wel wat frequenter/sneller.

Coffee is great and also a good place to study, if space is there. BUT the coffee gets more expensive day by day. 4€ for a SMALL coffee latte? A bit extrem as I think.

lovely staff, very welcoming and soft-spoken, especially the cashier this morning. a bit pricey, i got a large iced latte with soy milk in a reuseable cup for 6.10euro. lots of room for studying. i wish however that the chairs were padded, it was a bit tough to sit on for so long. i will return again as it provides a bit more ambiance than the library. it opens early and stays open late.

Hoge kwaliteit koffie, gebak ziet er mooi uit maar smaakt vaak wat minder vers. Medewerkers relaxed (misschien vinden anderen t wat traag maar voor een goede koffie moet je ook geen gestresste barista hebben :)). Wel vaak veel laptopridders, maar voornamelijk achterin. Harde muziek is mij niet opgevallen. Al met al een van de betere koffiebars in Utrecht.

Decent coffee, great place to work.

I walked into the shop today for a quick coffee to go. As I walked in, one employee was on her phone with her back facing the till and showing something not work related on her phone to two other employees (one was sitting on the floor). She looked at me but turned her back again without greeting me. I had to wait until they finished their discussion. Could you please stop hiring students if you can’t teach them basic customer service. However, the coffee was good.

Great cappucino for a fair price concidering the location. Relaxed atmosphere. We had a cat sleeping at our table witch was a bonus.

My go to spot to study, atmosphere is great and the people are super friendly, love to order an inced matcha! However maybe point of feedback is that it really depends on who makes it. Because when its made well, it is really one of my favorites in the city. But often I have a very bland, pale matcha. Will still be visiting regularly :)
