CoffeeConcepts Schinkel in Hoofddorppleinbuurt

I wait for my wife between 10:00-12:00 and have a cup of coffee here usually. Since it’s neither morning rush nor lunchtime, it’s mostly only me in there, sitting with my airpods on, using my own internet and looking at my computer. Recently, I was asked to order “more” if I want to sit in an empty place. I don’t think I need more than one coffee and I really don’t prefer eating random snacks or have an early lunch. I’d understand if it was a full place and I was occupying a seat, but cannot justify this nonsense in these circumstances. Well, have fun with emptier space now.

Fabienne is very pleasant and her coffee is extraordinary.

Really good espresso. Small cafe with only a couple of tables inside. Not cheap, but yeah... that was a great cup of coffee served with genuine friendliness by a skilled barrista.

They do not serve coffee in coffee cups, only take away, even though they clearly have cups on top of the coffee machine, maybe just for show. Main point is the nice interior design, but you can't enjoy it when the only option is to take away.

Could be better :) I missed regular cups. They're still more delicious than cardboard. The coffee wasn't quite right either. The milk in my cappuccino was too hot and bubbly. Anyway, it's just a snapshot. It's a nice place to sit, though.
