I'm from America but moved to Amsterdam and don't have internet yet. I had to take a 7am CT call and this hotel had the only cafe open within walking distance (haven't purchased bikes yet) I got first rate service while sitting on my call, including a double espresso, two cappuccinos, and water. My hands are shaking but totally worth it. And I wasn't even staying in the hotel Def come to Issimo

Issimo is a hidden gem of a coffee house tucked into The Hilton Hotel. The service is top notch and coffee is fresh and served with care. Recommend if in area and need a cup of joe and a sweet or savory treat.

Osdorpplein 937 H, Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands I came to Coffee and Sweets expecting exactly what the name promises — coffee and sweets. The café was not full at all; there were plenty of free tables available. I politely asked for a table to have a coffee and a dessert for about 15–20 minutes. Surprisingly, I was told there were “no tables available.” When I tried to clarify, the waiter responded rudely and dismissively, making it very clear that I was not welcome. Quite ironic: a place called Coffee and Sweets that refuses a guest who simply wants coffee and a sweet. If you don’t want people to sit and enjoy what you sell, maybe the name should be reconsidered. Very disappointing experience and absolutely unprofessional service
