Good coffee and was a good place to get some work done. Got crowded Midway through the day - seems to be a nice, welcoming community gathering place for refugees. The guys I talked were all super friendly, but unfortunately I had to focus on work so couldn't really chat that much with them.

Nice place with friendly people next to a refugee center; makes it possible for you and them to have a chat with people from entirely different places around the world and help them integrate into society. Nice bonus: the coffee is good and very affordable.

Parkeerplaats, Apollolaan 138/140I'm from America but moved to Amsterdam and don't have internet yet. I had to take a 7am CT call and this hotel had the only cafe open within walking distance (haven't purchased bikes yet) I got first rate service while sitting on my call, including a double espresso, two cappuccinos, and water. My hands are shaking but totally worth it. And I wasn't even staying in the hotel Def come to Issimo

Oostenburgervoorstraat 1We went to Anne&Max for a quick breakfast today. I had read the relatively negative reviews from the recent past and was a bit skeptical. There were two of us, and we were greeted very warmly. Since we were in a bit of a hurry, we asked if a quick breakfast was possible. It was quick... both taking the order and receiving the food. The only downside: the portion size of the "Max" breakfast was quite small for €14, but it was perfectly sufficient to start the day. The atmosphere was pleasant, and it wasn't too loud in the entire café; the restrooms were also very clean. So, we had a very good experience overall...
