Dishes were overly burnt and overly spicy, prices are quite high for the quality of food you are getting. Atmosphere is probably “modern” but looks like very untidy…

Really good place for brunch.Lovely service and the food is really creative and nivelles executed. Worth to go to. Service could be a bit more attentive. Our grasses were empty a lot even though the space was not so busy anymore at 14:30

Very nice place and delicious food. Waiters were very polite and friendly. However loses a star as we waited for our food for 40minutes which i find it too much for brunch.

We made 1 booking for the 25th of September at 6pm. We booked the appointment like a month ago. The day before the dinner we received an email from Collins requesting to confirm the booking. On the day of the dinner we planned our afternoon to visit places around the area and then go to dinner; however, when we arrived the restaurant was closed and we had to find another restaurant at the last minute.

Food was good, i just wished there was more options (I don't eat beef or pork). Carrot juice was amazing.

What a special little place! So glad we came here during our trip in Amsterdam. Food was absolutely remarkable, you can tell the chefs understand flavors so well. I ordered the cod dish with eggs salad and potatoes. Amazing! Will be back one day for sure.

The food was tasty(eggs and the sourdough with butter). However, cheesecake was a bit disappointing. Seemed very promising on the menu but saffron with pistachio didn't really work. Service was polite but quite slow.

Incredible brunch full of flavors and refinements. Although a little expensive, for this quality it is still worth it. I highly recommend it to those who are passing through Amsterdam and who will have to make a choice among all the brunches that the city offers.

Food didn't impress. Service is slow and inattentive. They served 2 tables that arrived after us. The chicken was raw in the middle, and we asked to be well done because of my pregnant wife (I mean, it's chicken, it should be well done). At least they didn't charged it.

Exceptional brunch place, I had a smoked cod omelette and it was marvellous. My gf went for a nectarine waffle and both of us agreed that it was a combination of flavours we never had before. Really cool place if you’re tired of basic brunch options and want to try something new and fun

Last night, I visited a charming restaurant with a great atmosphere. The decor was tasteful, and the staff was not so friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed our time. However, towards the end of the evening, things took a turn. We were subtly rushed out as the bill was placed on our table well before closing time, making us feel like we had to leave. This wasn’t very courteous.this was well before ending time.

Amazing cafe in Amsterdam! I came here with some friends this Sunday and didn't want to leave. I ordered the cod dish - it was a little bit salty but the coffee was amazing. The person, with red hair, who i think was the manager? was SUPER friendly and helpful! They could answer all my questions about the menu and were super lovely! Would highly recommend!

What a beautiful surprise, me and my wife have been seen this place for so many years but we never had the time to try it. Well what a little gem! A super friendly staff, really welcoming and professional and a special menu, a fusion of Mediterranean cuisine super well balanced!, makes this restaurant really unique. If you are in oud west this place it's a must!

Not sure why there’s such a hype about this place. The food is extremely below average - neither tasty nor healthy, and way too expensive for the value.

Food is okay, Not perfect not bad. Portion was small for me. Fried eggs cooked more hours before it was super dry. It wasn’t busy but I waited around 20 min. One dish one orange juice 27€ pretty expensive..

Kind staff, amazing dishes for both brunch and dinner. Try the flagolet beans for brunch and gnocchi for dinner! Will definitely be back. Please open a location in Oud Zuid!!!

A lovely fusion restaurant with a menu that adapts itself to the seasons, delicious food influenced by different cultures around the world, friendly waiters/waitresses and reasonable prices. There are plenty of indoor and a few available outdoor dining spaces. We tried roasted brassicas, beef ragu girella pasta and Bergamot & Corriander seed soda. I would definitely recommend here, if you value quality over quantity.

After visiting this place a few times, I have decided not to return any more. It was not a pleasant experience when they offered the bill before we even asked for it (while there were plenty of empty tables around us). It felt like we were being asked to leave. I was left speechless. Good luck!

Enjoyed a delicious brunch at Collins today. Inventive and tasty food - with surprising ingredients - and a lovely spritz. The vibe and decor are v. nice. Staff super friendly. All really great - would definitely return.

Delicious brunch! The menu is very unique and all the dishes are very interesting and tasteful. Very unique combination of products in every dish. It was our second time here and we were just as impressed as the first time! Make a reservation on weekends as it gets packed and almost impossible to get a table. Service is great but a bit slow, understandable as the place was absolutely full. One minus is the atmosphere, the place is very simple and missing some kind of design. But food is incredible!!! My favorite is poached eggs with unique smoky flavor!

Tasty food, a bit on the salty side. Price-quality ratio not proportional. Portions too small for the expensive price, no special ambiance.

Cool place with a really interesting and varied brunch menu. If you think ask ‘What would Ottolemghi make for brunch’ then you are on the right track. Proper tasty, generous portions and the staff are tip top.

Visited Collins on Saturday night and both the service from everyone and the food were phenomenal. The burrata with pickled fennel was one of my favorite desserts I’ve had, and the gnocchi alla vodka was also very good. Highly recommend!

Very nice place. Food is special and delicious. A bit pricey, but you can get that everywhere in Amsterdam now. Make sure you make a reservation if you go to the location in the west! (That is not possible in De Pijp, but it is).

It’s really delicious . The brunch menu changes often,that makes people feel new. We ordered three dishes were very delicious, I think the chef is really good.

The food was okay but our order was messed up twice without an apology or any concern. We were poured the wrong wine by the glass and when we said we didn’t order it the server was irritated and told us she would check with our waitress what we ordered as if I was in the wrong. We were also given the incorrect meal and had to point it out again. On a good note (?) they actually brought us another order of bread which they gave us after putting it down in front of us but realized their error.

Cosy brunchplace with also some outdoor seating. I had the poached eggs with labneh and pumpkin and it was delicious, very nicely seasoned to perfection. Friendly young staff

The cocktail selection was delicious. We got several of the appetizers and main courses for dinner to share amongst a group and it was all very tasty!

Table of 4. Very underwhelmed 😞. We visited Little Collins on the other side of the city for breakfast thismorning and we were all very very satisfied. Flavours were good, portions a little bit on the small side and a little bit windy int the restaurant too. Worst of all was the service.. shocking, empty restaurant, neither of the 2 servers were great but the one dressed in the blue adidas top was awful, also unhygienic. Eating bread all service rather than talking to tables, nobody asked for any feedback.. AT ALL. Little Collins 5* Collins 2*

Really disappointing visit today to the restaurant, after having such a wonderful breakfast/brunch at their sister restaurant, ‘Little Collins’ this morning. The food was tasty and well plated, however the service was shocking. It took half an hour before ordering drinks and then a further 20 minutes again before someone came over to take our food order. Our waiter was seen many times helping himself to the sourdough bread from behind the bar in front of us, which he had not long served us, before dipping the bread in the butter which he’d also just served us! Never once washed his hands as he did it all in the open bar. He then went on go on his phone and walking around the restaurant on it in front of all of the customers. They never once asked how our food was or if we enjoyed it and we still left hungry after paying nearly 140€ between 4 of us. Such a shame after a great breakfast, let down on the customer service.

The Collins is the perfect choice when you grave some delicious food paired with an Bloody Mary straight out of hell. In a good way of course. Location is relaxing and spacious and the staff is welcoming.

We reserved for lunch; initially for 2 people but one person joined last minute. Luckily the staff was very accommodating. The food was delicious and plated beautifully. Every detail was crafted well. We got the burrata and sourdough, veggie balls, ricotta dumplings with nduja ragu, and brisket. The ricotta dumplings and brisket were very good. Didn't try the veggie balls but my friend said they were nice. The olive oil was honestly liquid gold. One of the best we've ever had.

This place is amazing, we took 6 plates to share it was super tasty ! Congrats to the cookers 🙏 we had an excellent moment here ! The service was perfect ! If I had a little comment, we took the cheaper red wine for 28 euros and it’s was not so good. Anyway, i highly recommend this place !!!

Food was small and expensive (and very average) staff forgot our orders and we had to wait very long.. we had bigger expectations because the furniture is really nice and the atmosphere too. Staff was nice and we got 2 drinks from the house, but I think it was a bit too busy for them. Not going back

My favourite place to eat brunch in Amsterdam. The menu tends to be much more interesting than just slamming eggs and avocados into various configurations (i.e. the plague of brunch restaurants everywhere). Keep it up.

Love the oldskool vibe here at this location! It’s very welcoming and feels very homely. I did not make a reservation and walked in. This was on a Monday early afternoon around 2PM, there were only 2 customers enjoying their food and drinks. So there were plenty of seat options. The personnel was welcoming and proactive. They presented the menu and answered all of my questions patiently. I ordered one of the “Larger plates”, the “Poached eggs, aleppo butter, smoked labneh, dukkah, flatbread”. The eggs were perfectly poached, the yolk was nice and runny. Overall it’s a tasty dish, and it will definitely satisfy your appetite. Next to that I had the homemade lemonade, which was refreshing and not too sweet. To finish off my lunch, I had a cappuccino. Which was nice. Do I recommend this place? Yes, definitely!

The restaurant is on a lively street in the west… the staff is courteous and helpful. Staff recommended to order dishes to share and start with 3-4 dishes for the table of two. And it was pretty sufficient.. Also the wine list is great!

Excelente opción para desayunar en una área menos turística, dónde frecuentan más la gente local, tomen en cuenta que el menú es cambiado de forma frecuente, por lo que ofrecen hoy, es probable que no lo tengan el siguiente mes, la base es el huevo, preparado ya sea con falafel, con pollo empanizado, pochados, etc, todos son exquisitos, imperdible el bloody Mary, y El capuchino es el mejor que he probado en Ámsterdam.

Brunch is great, not your normal eggy standards Dinner punches so far above it's weight it's funny, one of the most interesting menus in the city and really reasonably priced for how good it is

I have gone a couple of times for Lunch/Brunch specifically to Collins. It doesn't miss every time I go. There is always something new to try on the menu and the food surprises me in the flavor combos, the quality and the overall dining experience. Even the drinks accompany the food really well. We always share mains and it isn't a problem to do so. Friendly service and attentive! One my favorite places in West!
