Contigo Brasserie in Centrum

I had lunch here this afternoon. To get straight to the point… I got really sick from it. I had a fish club sandwich, but the fish wasn't good anymore. I felt unwell all afternoon and still don't feel 100%. The club sandwich was already served on very warm toast, which ruined the freshness of the lettuce and fish. I understand you are struggling with teething problems, but this is really unacceptable, guys. The other dishes were good, though. And as for the staff: be a bit more proactive, more attentive, and don't adopt a passive attitude. It comes across as if you aren't interested in your customers and don't want to make a name for yourselves or put in the effort. Come on, change course, and who knows, I might come back again.

Friendly staff, food was good, but it is definitely NOT a Brasserie. It is just a Chinese cafeteria, with Chinese restaurant chairs... so if you think "Brasserie"... forget about that!

We went to Contigo today with a group of five. We ordered food and were told it was very busy and it would take a maximum of 45 minutes for our food. After an hour, two sandwiches arrived. We were then told the baguette was gone but the next sandwiches would be on their way. But as it turned out, the chef had to smoke a cigarette before continuing. He was incredibly rude. After an hour and a half, still no sandwiches, so we left in a huff. We'll never be back!

Long waits at this place, even for drinks. We will not go there again.

Had lunch here yesterday but never again. The order took a long time and when it finally arrived it was "sorry, the chef made a mistake" and he put the plate down without batting an eyelid, so I got carpaccio on a baguette instead of Waallander bread. Baguette was not fresh and we received no compensation for the wrong lunch delivered. Even if it was just a cup of tea. Not recommended at all!!!

We went here today and it was a big disappointment. After 15 minutes someone finally came to take our drink order. Then after 20 minutes it was finally brought. After waiting 1 hour and 15 minutes our food finally arrived. As if it was the wrong one. Around us there were tables occupied and people were all complaining about the service and that they didn't get what they ordered. When paying, one drink was put on too many. When it was still Witteveen we came here regularly and the service was perfect. But after today we will NEVER go to Contigo again.

Today my wife and I walked here around 17:00. We were just in time to still be able to order a 12 o'clock since they actually closed at 17:30. The chef made a delicious 12 o'clock for both of us with good soup in advance. It turned out to be the new chef in a new business that is about to start, we thank you again for the hospitality and the great 12 o'clock and wish you much success with the new business.

I came here more often have seen the new staff grow from their first day now they are doing well they have the pace now well and have always been super friendly. With the food I really see that a lot of attention was paid to the small details besides that it is very tasty.

The tastiest sandwich you could wish for. Nice and smooth service. The new team is great!

Been there for the last time, waited 45 minutes for my 12 hour and still bad. When will Witteveen return? In response to the owner's response, I am not going to discuss this because it is just being turned into a story. I did what a normal thinking customer would do, reported the complaint several times to the serving people, but nothing happened, and the fact that it was busy is nonsense, there were 4 couples in the business (busy?) and there were 5 employees. so….end of story

Very unfriendly staff. After waiting more than 45 minutes for our order, we decided to just pay for our drinks, because it just took too long. We indicated at the cash register that people had been helped earlier, but had taken their seats later instead of us. We got a very loud mouth from the ladies at the cash register. She entered into a full discussion. It was disrespectful and antisocial. You shouldn't treat customers like that. We will never come here again!
