Royal Grill Express in Zuid

The food was supposed to be delivered at 5:50 PM, but I called at 6:30 PM. The message was: "Delivery person is on the way," and it finally arrived at 6:50 PM (we live 5 minutes away). Unfortunately, the fries were cold, but the food tasted fine.

The day before yesterday, after working out, I just picked up a simple döner sandwich here. What a delicious döner that sandwich was! The car was easily parked right in front. Upon entering, I was greeted by an extremely friendly and hospitable gentleman. I was invited to take a seat, and my takeaway sandwich would be ready in a few minutes, so it happened. At home, I opened the foil-wrapped sandwich. It was remarkable that the döner tasted much more tender than at other places, where the slices usually have a crispy edge that often lingers a bit in the throat. On the contrary, this meat melted in the mouth and was gone in a single bite. A real treat! I also thought that by wrapping it in aluminum foil, the meat might have cooked a bit more slowly in the car on the way home. I could also taste the meat juices in the bread itself (a sponge effect). I'll be back here often!

Ordered on time, delivered over an hour later, resulting in everything being cold. So I had to reheat everything. I won't be ordering from here again for a while, as this is the umpteenth time this has happened to me. I ring the doorbell and get the answer: "Yes, ma'am, it's cold and busy."

I live two minutes from this restaurant, and I ordered for 4 o'clock for delivery at 5 o'clock. I just got cold food. When I called, they told me that wasn't possible, and it turned out I was lying. It was a terrible experience.

Our favorite place to get food for years. Always fresh and good quality. The steak platter and grill platter are highly recommended.

We've ordered a few times now. We think the food quality is good and tastes good, but the delivery is truly terrible; something is always missing—fries, potatoes, or a drink. We called today and they just hung up. The first time can happen, the second time, so back to the same sentence. Poor service.

The food was truly delicious! Especially the delicious seasoned potato wedges. It's just a shame they didn't wait in the parking lot and call, but that happens!

For the minimum order costs (on nationally known website) of €20.00 I (1 person) have to order more than I can eat in 1 dinner? The delivery costs of €1.50 (11 minutes by car) to my temporary residence in Apeldoorn is neat. The "hidden" costs for "service fee" I call nonsense costs.

The food tastes good, but AGAIN not what we ordered, and again the sauce was missing, but we still pay for it... too bad, but now we go one door further

Just placed an order, unfortunately old fries used at the hair salon. Not edible and very lifeless. Ordered here not that often now I know why I will never order here again. Too bad Ali Hapwat is no longer there.

Unfortunately, we had a very bad experience. We had to wait about half an hour for our food, which was already unpleasant. When it finally arrived, the spring rolls were completely burnt and in a burnt container. We could forget about the fries either, as the container had been completely covered in the spring roll containers. The tops of the fries were completely melted. They didn't explain anything, didn't apologize, and didn't resolve the issue. Very unprofessional and definitely not recommended. I will never order from them again.

Order here quite often. The food is always great; I order the platters, and there's plenty of rice. The meat is always delicious. My only complaint would be that the shawarma feels like it's been refried four times. Delivery is more often early than late! The delivery person is always friendly. I would recommend it to everyone!

We ordered a kapsalon and doner box, but we didn't like them. The kapsalon had a really nasty sauce, the potatoes weren't tasty, and the chicken was dry. The doner box had more fries than meat. The fries weren't good. I won't be ordering from here again. It's so cheap, it's definitely not cheap.

Lovely delivery people and delicious food and on time and the best from Apeldoorn

We always ordered a large portion of crispy chicken wings. After moving to Zuidbroek, they unfortunately no longer deliver here. I find it a great pity!! Because they are delicious!!

It used to be great, but the last few months were a disaster. Cold food, barely any toppings on your pizza (or the wrong ones) and delivery takes at least an hour and a half to almost 2 hours. No more Royal Grill for me.

I placed an order for a grill dish with garlic sauce, 2x Red Bull and an Ice Tea Peach. After waiting 40 minutes the delivery person came, who was friendly, but that was the only positive. I immediately contacted the company because I had been given a different drink, namely an Ice Tea Sparkling, even though I am not allowed to have an injection. Also I only got one Red Bull and no garlic sauce. The person on the phone was such a brat, he said that he had added the red bull and garlic sauce to the order and that I should take a closer look. I suggested it might have fallen out of the bag while driving, but he didn't believe it. After a long chat he said the delivery man would be back soon. After another 30 minutes of no answer, I called again. He said I was lying and that he had looked at CCTV footage. I got frustrated, what a bad tent! Later I called again and was told that I was just unlucky or that I could try it on my next order. You don't think I'm going to order again, do you? What special people.

I will never order here again! First waited an hour for delivery. Ordered 2x gyros sandwiches, fries and Ben&Jerry ice cream. We got regular shawarma rolls and you could kill someone with them! They were rock hard, as if they were from yesterday! The gyros (which looks like shawarma) has also been in the pan for far too long, making it too dry. You can't mess up fries cold and Ben&Jerry ice cream… so you can! Melted upon arrival. You can't eat more of it! All in all, still hungry and a waste of money. Don't order again!!

After 90 minutes of waiting, finally working up the courage to call, you are told that the food has just been packed. After waiting another half hour, I called again and of course they were already on their way, as you will always see. After another fifteen minutes, cold fries and a steak for the soles of shoes. Never, never again!!! They don't actually deserve that one star...

Delicious food in a neat tent. With very nice staff. 4 seats for 4 people and one seat for 2 people. And open on Mondays. Those aren't the neighbors.

Super shame, ordered twice from this place. The bread of the hamburger was soggy and the hamburgers were cold, the fries were also moist and cold/limp, the taste of the pizza my friend was okay, I got something for 12 euros, worth less than 6 euros, I also asked for no tomatoes and I got a full tomato on the burger. The taste of the burger was fine, but the bun and all the things on it spoiled the taste 😮‍💨

I actually never write a negative review. But now it is. We had a voucher code for a discount of 10 euros, but when there was an error in the website, that discount had suddenly already been used. In other words, we didn't get them anymore. When we called about this, we were not treated in a particularly customer-friendly manner. We were promised it would take about 45 minutes. We ended up having to wait two hours for our order. We called twice in between and were promised that it would be there within twenty minutes. When the order finally came, the drinks were not included and we received satay sauce instead of garlic sauce. I don't know if you've ever tried that, as some kind of culinary experiment, but that's really gross, kebap with satay sauce. I took a little lick of the satay sauce, because I had a (very meager) salad, but the satay sauce tasted like peanut butter + jelly and then warmed up. Bah. The drinks were supposed to be delivered within half an hour, but unfortunately... They didn't arrive. Like I said, I'm always pretty positive, but this was really worth zero stars.

We had mixed grill. Shawarma was charred but the rest of the meat was also cooked for far too long and sometimes until black on one side. The green pepper was pitch black on one side. potatoes also too long and already weakened by time. Worthless order and never again. 35 euros wasted.

We just ordered a kebab sandwich, the amount of meat was staggering. At first I thought it was an empty sandwich, but there was still a very small amount of meat in between, which is a shame and I really won't order from here again. I get 3 to 4 times as much meat and it's too sad for that. this and is also barely warm 🤔🤔

Just ordered spare rib dish 4 times. I have ordered spare ribs here at least ten times and my stomach is always full. This time, few spare ribs, potatoes and even little rice are delivered. If you call to report this, you can get an extra bag of fries with your next order(!)

My friend ordered from Royal Grill at 11:00 PM. At 00:00 we call where the food is because it said on average 40 minutes. Afterwards they told us that they left and it is less than a 7 minute drive.
