A fantastic wine bar in a beautiful location! During a previous visit, we were very impressed by the special (often imported) wines on the menu. This time pop up chef Fajne cooked a high-quality vegetarian 5-course menu. It's great that you can get acquainted with the cooking skills of different chefs in this way at Cote du Cool. And the wines, which were again great! We will be back soon.

Nice wine bar in a nice place with friendly staff! The monthly concept where a three-course menu is prepared by a chef is certainly recommended.

What a wonderful wine bar! 😍 We drank some beautiful wines here last Friday that you won't find anywhere else, because the owner personally imports them. The store is warm, chic and atmospheric and can be found in one of the most beautiful places in Rotterdam. We also enjoyed the oysters and a packed apéro board. We'll come soon back!

Had a fantastic evening! Enjoyed the wine tasting very much. The wines were delicious, a nice snack board and the waitress Marina was very friendly, pleasant and hospitable. She also gave a nice explanation about the different types of wines, highly recommended!

Such a lovely place for an evening drink and food! We came here for a dinner to try some polish dumplings, made by pop up restaurant Fajne! I recommend it very much!

We had a fantastic evening with the group of friends with a delicious wine tasting, extended with snacks and delicious pizza. It's great how you thought along with us, poured delicious wine and made it a great evening for us. And don't forget how cool a location this is, a truly beautiful part of Rotterdam!

This place has become my absolute favorite in the past year. The location is perfect if you want to be out of the city buzz and enjoy a glass of wine with a view. I love the variety of their wines and how the people there help and offer you options to taste. Highly recommend 👌

Unnecessarily rude and petty waitresses, not worth the visit.

Went there for a relaxing evening and asked for a wine recommendation. The waitress/owner was very helpful. When talking about taste everyones is different but that is not something that should influence a review. All in all great experience and when in the neighborhood I will do my best to swing by.

Beautiful wine bar with delicious wines and excellent service. Really enjoy the terrace when the weather is nice, but it's just as nice to sit inside for a snack and a drink. Highly recommended!

Not sure why the waitress is being so passive agressive for no reason! I only asked if soup is available and she told me to tell her if we can find a wine bar that sells soup. Sucks bc everything else is good

Good wine and atmosphere, but sadly an impolite waitress served us. She said “let me know if you find a wine bar that serves soup” when we asked if they have it on the menu. She also peeped into my friends phone without consent, and was extremely passive aggressive the entire time. Owner apologised on her behalf, which was thoughtful, but started the conversation very rudely as well. It’s important to note, that we saw the owner and the waitress mocking us together behind the bar.

Despite the good reviews I‘ve read and consider before writing this review, a waitress handled our table in a questionable manner. For me personally, she came to our table (after a series of passive aggressive remarks to my friend) —asking whether we are going to leave our table, because two new customers came. I had just ordered a beer 15 minutes before. I clearly have a sufficient amount of beer left. (I took a picture right after because of how absurd it felt) After paying the bill, the owner kindly addressed the matter, even though she opened the dialogue with „what soup should we offer?“— referring to my friend‘s 2 star review. We took this apology into consideration, but we still feel bothered. It’s important to address that we were not loud, we were not sloppy nor bothering other guests. Hope this will be a learning lesson for the development of the service, to treat everyone equally. The owner said it‘s a small business so I wish them the very best.

Beautiful location in Rotterdam West. Cozy atmosphere & delicious wines. You have the option to take a seat both inside and outside. Outside you imagine yourself in 'New York vibes' between the buildings of Little C.

I'm personally not much of a drinker, but this bar with incredibly tasty wines ensures that I have to make an exception time and time again. The interior is also beautiful and gives a nice atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

My new favorite place for a delicious drink! Attractive decor and friendly staff. The owner clearly knows a lot about wines and gave us extensive advice when we asked for it. I will definitely come back here!

This is a nice wine bar with nice staff and tasty wines. The only downside is that the menu with open wines by the glass hardly changes. We were here six months ago and now there were almost exactly the same wines, although there is a difference between summer and winter. If they changed more often we would certainly come more often because the rest is great.

I first ended up by chance, but it really is a place where you keep coming back. A bit hidden behind terraces, very worthwhile. Nice wine, good advice, good service. But also good food, beautifully decorated and a super nice atmosphere. Really great.

THE place to be for wine in Rotterdam. I took a friend there and she said since tasting Cote du Cools wine she can’t have other wines anymore. Besides the beautiful wines it has a lovely relaxed ambience. The service is extraordinary and extremely knowledgeable. Can’t recommend it enough :)

Côte du Cool is definitely my favorite wine bar. The place is beautifully decorated. Warm and calm in atmosphere, yet with funny winks and retention of the industrial architectural style. The wine list is diverse, and they are happy to think along with you. The food is what I am used to from France: not too complicated, but just well prepared with quality basic products. Oh, and even if you don't drink alcohol, there is plenty of choice. In the summer you can sit by the water!

Very attentive service, excellent selection of wines and delicious bites! Wonderful interior space, nice crowd and as a big plus, dog-friendly! We loved our time at côte du cool and we are definitely coming back for more 🍷

This is a nicely decorated wine bar. Brutal concrete combined with soft furniture in rich colors. Very tasteful and very pleasant to stay. Host and lady wonderfully attentive and friendly. A nice place. Excellent bitterballen and the menu is certainly appealing. The only downside is the price of the wine per bottle. And that made us decide not to order a second one and to continue eating.

2 sterren minder omdat ze helaas geen contant geld accepteren. Gastvrije horeca?

Cote du cool heeft heerlijke wijnen in de aanbieding. Het personeel is heel flexibel en er is veel mogelijk. Zij zijn heel aardig maar soms lukt niet alles in een keer . Ondanks dat een leuke zaak

Een plek waar je gehoord en gezien wordt. Een eigenaresse die feilloos aanvoelt wat je nodig hebt; professionele service en kennis van wijn, een praatje en zelfs een knuffel. Voor mij het gevoel van een warm bad in een zware tijd. Ik verblijf momenteel in het familiehuis Daniel den Hoed en ik kan iedereen hier aanraden hier een keer binnen te lopen.

Zomer- en afscheidsborrel voor een aantal stagiaires. Bijzonder leuke stek, relaxte sfeer, mooie wijnen en ander lekkers. Op deze locatie waan je je in Mediterrane sferen. Aanrader!! Merci bien!

Deze wijnbar is gewoonweg betoverend. De perfecte plek om te ontspannen en te genieten van heerlijke wijnen aan de kade. De sfeer is rustig en levendig tegelijk, en de architectuur brengt je in een dromerige sfeer van Manhattan. De wijnen zijn voortreffelijk, het personeel is vriendelijk en attent, en de locatie voegt een extra vleugje magie toe aan de ervaring. Mis deze betoverende wijnervaring aan de kade niet! Kortom: Een betoverende plek voor heerlijke wijnen aan de kade. Geweldige sfeer, voortreffelijke wijnen en vriendelijk personeel. Een must-visit!

Per toeval terecht gekomen, maar wat een toevalstreffer was dit zeg!! Wat een heerlijke plek, fantastische service én (wijn) advies. We hebben echt waanzinnig lekkere wijn gehad en het grootste voordeel was: we kunnen thuis nogmaals genieten want wat ze schenken, verkopen ze ook in de wijnwinkel. Wij vonden het echt een pareltje deze wijnbar. Mochten we nog weer eens in R'dam komen, gaan we absoluut weer! Gaan we niet maar de wijn is thuis op dan bestellen we gewoon online in de winkel. Echt een aanrader! Even over/langs het terras kijken of lopen van Kula en daar zit deze parel!!

Ben je op zoek naar een bijzondere en lekkere Franse wijn die je nergens anders kunt krijgen? Bestel je wijn dan bij Côte du Cool! Daar kom je heerlijke wijnen tegen die je nergens anders in Nederland kunt krijgen. Bespaar je de rit naar Frankrijk en bestel!

Ik heb zelf weinig ervaring met wijnen, al helemaal niet met rode wijn. Dat lustte ik niet. Wat erg jammer is, aangezien op veel gelegenheden rode wijn bij het avondeten wordt gedronken. Ik dronk dan als een semi-neanderthaler alleen maar bier. Dit heb ik ook tegen Joyce gezegd, ze kwam direct met een rode wijn waarmee je kunt wennen aan de smaak. Een beetje sceptisch vertrouwde ik op haar oordeel. Een week later op 1e kerstdag was het zo ver, de fles ging open. Ik kan je vertellen dat ik die avond de meeste rode wijn hebt gedronken. Het was echt heerlijk, het paste precies bij het eten. Dankzij Joyce van Cote du Cool heb ik heerlijke (rode) wijnen kunnen bestellen voor mij en mijn familie. Ze luistert naar wat je wilt en komt met persoonlijk advies.

Mooie collectie karakterwijnen. Geen muurbloempjes, maar prachtige dames- met behoud van toegankelijkheid. Voor saai moet je hier niet zijn.

In december een samengestelde set wijnen gekocht. Deze waren allemaal lekker en de smaak kwam overeen met de beschrijving. Levering was op tijd en netjes.

Heerlijke wijnen! De eigenaresse heeft echt verstand van de wijnen en weet wat ik lekker vind. Ik waan me iedere keer op vakantie in Frankrijk.
