For the real wine lover. Everything is perfect from start to finish. No, not cheap, but in my opinion completely worth it if you like (discovering) wine. Wine menu as a basis, always with a perfectly matching dish. Both sommeliers take the time with each glass to thoroughly explain the wine and answer questions. For the real wine lover.

From reception to farewell, everything about NOTK is an experience in itself. I have visited this place several times and enjoy coming back every time. The staff is young, friendly, and above all very friendly, which creates a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. The location is beautiful and exudes something special. The food is modern and surprising, and if you go for the sommelier menu, everything is tailored to the last detail. Here it's really all about the wine, and you notice that. The wine list is a gem: only the best wines are on it, and at very competitive prices. In short, a fantastic place with friendly people, delicious food and extraordinary wines. I recommend it to everyone and can't wait to go back!

Got a window seat without a reservation. What a surprise. Delicious wines and food, great service. We enjoyed delicious mussels a la carte, home-baked sourdough bread, aligot and autumn vegetables, bitterballen, goose brioche, etc., etc. The cheese board was no longer possible for us, but we will certainly save room for that next time! What a wonderful experience! Every glass of wine served in the sommelier's menu (4 courses) was absolutely spot on. Really enjoyed it in a relaxed and trendy setting. The nice chats with the service about the dishes in between made it complete.

What a fantastic experience! It is really a treat to be served at your every whim, with a wide choice of excellent wines. We were warmly welcomed and assigned a lovely spot. Despite the crowds, the business is designed in such a way that you don't have to shout and can hear each other perfectly. Lucas helped us, and it is immediately clear why he has become the best sommelier in the Netherlands. We enjoyed delicious wines, each with its own story, beautifully presented. The matching snacks and the homemade bitterbal were the icing on the cake. We can wholeheartedly recommend NOTK to everyone!

The three of us had a delicious meal here! It is explained exactly where all the wines come from and a matching dish is chosen for each wine instead of the other way around. The staff is neat, knowledgeable and humorous. Definitely recommended!

Nothing short of amazing, this is a must visit for an evening in Rotterdam. Took a faboulous guided tour of the wines of Bourgogne and discovered two amazing ones while having a great conversation with the passionate persons at NOTK.

Wednesdaydinner , 🕕 p.m. , NOTK ala carte menu , Champagne GrandCru . Beforehand told it was a hidden gem in food and drinks , alternative style ! And “yes” they were right . Balanced , tasteful and even surprising . Big wine & champagne menu for the aficionados of a good bottle , and together with the great hospitality of its staff , NOTK is a place to keep in mind for a night out far away from the masses and over charging restaurants.

The wines were amazing. We really enjoyed the place. We were only disappointed by how long the service took. It took a lot of time to get our food. It took over 1.5 hours to get our first dish. And then around an hour in between dishes. The sommelier was amazing. He explained everything very well. I would go back for the wines.

Led by two experienced sommeliers, Lukas and Thomas, NOTK is the go to place for wine and dining in Rotterdam. They import their own wines as well, but what sets them apart from most wine places is their attention to detail and although their focus is on wine, their food often rivals in quality as well as their hospitality. Despite their great knowledge and experience in wine and horeca, they remain down to earth and welcoming to all their guests. You can order a la carte and ask for a wine suggestion, or go for a sommelier menu where they have a wine paired with each course. I can't comment on a specific dish as their menu changes every season and sometimes they have special dishes for their events. But their stews are always on point, I think their meat dishes are where they excell at. They use fresh and high quality ingredients, so the vegetarian options are also really tasty. I can't not mention their homemade sourdough bread, of course. It's made fresh and one of the best sourdough breads I've head in the Netherlands so far. We look forward to it each time we visit, it's the perfect vehicle to soak up the leftover sauce and juices! Overall, NOTK is a must for all wine lovers, enthusiasts but also anyone who wants to enjoy a well curated meal served with care and focus on quality. Highly recommend!

Little nugget in Rotterdam. I am very happy to have found this little restaurant which reminds me of the little Parisian gems that I love to find. Everything was excellent. Wine, dishes, service. Special mention for the bread which is to die for, made in house (especially when you live in Rotterdam and can't find good bread). Everything is homemade, the wines are excellent, with a wide choice. The servers are passionate and it shows. Don’t hesitate to take a look!

Had a nice evening at NOTK, would definitely recommend it for good wines and a cozy atmosphere. The sommelier knows how to talk about the wines and they paired very well with the dishes. We liked the food itself, especially the snack and dessert, but not quite at the level we expected given the price. We also ate better before that.

Absolutely delicious food! Very funny how they turn a concept around and don't look for wine to go with a dish, but come up with a dish to go with a wine. Surprising and special dishes, and a great match with the accompanying wines. Definitely recommended!

Great evening. We had something to celebrate and we sat at the table where everything happened. Extensive knowledge about the wines, nice story with each wine. Were recommended a big bomb and what a wine. Really 10/10, if you want a Michelin experience. Great job guys!

Delicious food, but if you tell “the best sommelier in the Netherlands” that you don't like the wine choice (after paying a few hundred euros, I might add) it immediately changes the atmosphere. Stay in your bubble dude :)

It was already a nice place, but now at the new location it is even better! Delicious wines (including a Chablis premier cru, pecorino), beautiful refined dishes and a host sommelier who more than knows his trade!

An absolute must for every wine lover in Rotterdam. What a special experience this was, with beautiful matings. Thomas has a tremendous amount of knowledge about the wines and talks about it passionately. It's also nice that despite the high level, the atmosphere is so relaxed, this is not a place for snobs but for enthusiasts.

I recently had lunch at NOTK and it was great! The atmosphere is cozy, the staff super friendly, and the food delicious and beautifully presented. The wine selection is also excellent and paired perfectly with our meal. An absolute must in Rotterdam. I'll definitely be back!

Very good wine and good food. The portions are on the small side, so we were still hungry at the end. There was too much time between courses and 1 of us got the wrong main course, which caused a delay. Price/quality ratio was moderate.

It was already nice to drink and eat at the old location, but at the new location with a cozy terrace on the Deliplein it's a real party! I always find the wine list a treat and I like to come here for a nice bottle of champagne with some small snacks. Skilled staff with expertise and as many local products as possible from the kitchen. A cause close to my heart 😃 Keep up the good work Lukas, Thomas and team!

It's a party every time we are at NOTK. Beautiful special wines that are paired with tasty dishes, brought to you with a lot of expertise, attention and warmth. And now that they are in the new location on Deliplein, it has only become better: the attractive interior gives a 'bistro with a class vibe'. I'm already looking forward to the terrace in the summer.

Amazing friendly staff and great wine. Would definitely advice for the great environment. However removing one star because we were a bit disappointed by the group menu (6 people). Felt very home made (for the price) and not extremely tasty.

Had an amazing night at NOTK. Guys are very knowledgeable. The wines on the menu are superb with something for everyone. The food they cook compliments it all very well and makes for a complete experience.

In search of a nice all-in package through Heerlijk, we came across NOTK, from two wine lovers (Thomas and Lukas) who have already made their mark in beautiful restaurants in Rotterdam and are now on their own. They start from the wine and chef Jurgen prepares beautiful dishes, in our case a 3-course menu. We started with a light fruity Tuscan wine and served a fresh summer salad with fine mushrooms cooked in beurre blanc. Truly delicious. The main course consisted of a large piece of brand new brill on leek that has been roasted in the oven until it is black, so the inside becomes very sweet and that was also on our plate. Together with capers, walnuts and a fresh salad it was a tasty whole. That tasted even better with a nice white wine from the Rhône delta. Thomas tells a very fascinating story with each of the wines. What passion and knowledge he has. We ended our dinner with a sweet Moscato d'Asti, where we ate red berries, strawberries with baking cream and fennel ice cream. Great surprise that last one... All in all we enjoyed it with surprising wines and very tasty food.

We were lucky enough to stumble upon this place on a wednesday evening in July and we really had a great experience. We shared the brioche special and some other really tasty stuff from the snack menu. The food was excellent but what I would really like to highlight is the superb wine selection and the very knowledgable and friendly service we received. 5 stars, TIP!

Heerlijke avond gehad bij Notk! We kwamen daar vooral getrokken door het feit dat het een wijnbar is gerund door heren met een indrukwekkende achtergrond en dat hebben ze zeer waargemaakt. We hadden het drie gangen menu met bijpassende wijnen, vooraf enthousiast gemaakt voor een aperitief (uit NL(!) wat je niet vaak hoort). Elke wijn was echt heerlijk en aangezien het gerecht bij de wijn wordt gekozen vulden deze elkaar perfect aan. Niet alleen de wijnen maar ook de gerechten hebben ons bijzonder positief verrast. De combinaties waren erg uniek, gedurfd en erg lekker! De goede service, persoonlijke aandacht en de leuke verhalen en weetjes over de wijnen maakten de avond helemaal af. We komen zeker weten terug!

Van de week met een paar vriendinnen geweest en wat een leuke avond hebben wij gehad. Gezellige sfeer, Overheerlijke wijn met heerlijke bijpassende gerechten. Proficiat naar de sommeliers, we zijn goed geholpen en zeer vriendelijk. Zeker aan te raden voor een avondje uit. Ik kom zeker terug!!

The sommelier menu at NOTK was the perfect way to end a great day of touring Rotterdam. The wine was definitely the star of the show, with all of the dishes created to highlight various aspects of what was in the glass (not the other way around, as with most tasting menus). Every wine that Thomas selected was outstanding and interesting; his descriptions (especially of the production processes) gave us more useful information for actually buying wines ourselves than we’ve gotten from all previous wine dinners combined. The food was also phenomenal! Local and sustainably sourced ingredients—many that had apparently been hand-picked and foraged by the kitchen team earlier that day—were brought together to create three fabulous courses. We started with an incredibly complex, new-style Champagne, sipped on the sunny patio of the hotel (yes, NOTK currently runs out of the lovely Supernova Hotel). We moved inside to the quaint and cozy dining room for the meal itself, which started with a “green” Pinot Noir from Burgundy, paired with stewed goat (sourced from a local fromagère) with fresh radish and herbs. Next, a surprisingly delicious Alsatian Riesling was paired with a pan-seared mullet and the most amazing, almost-candied leeks and local walnuts. For the third course, they graciously allowed us to take one cheese plate (a Chablis paired with a wonderful Gouda … clearly the Dutch keep the best Gouda for themselves!) and one dessert (an Italian dessert wine … forgetting the details … paired with a incredibly tasty sous vide rhubarb with granola). Everything was incredibly delicious, especially the accompanying sourdough and house-made, classic French-style nougat served with after-dinner coffee. Out of this world. Go to NOKT now because, given our experience, it will be a tough reservation to get in the months to come.

We came to Notk to enjoy the sommeliers menu and it didn't disappoint! All courses were very original and perfectly complimented the wines. Each wine was carefully introduced by the sommelier, who expressed great knowledge and passion for his wines. We were so excited by the wines served in the menu, we decided to try one of the special red wines imported by Notk. We're looking forward to coming back to enjoy more great wines!

Make your wine dreams come true at NOTK. It's like giving AI a prompt and getting the exact answer you wanted....but with wine and a lovely expert Lukas, so it's infinitely better. Not only will you get what you thought you wanted, but it will pair perfectly with the delicious food. Set in a warm green toned environment with friendly staff and beautiful glassware, NOTK was the perfect place to enjoy an evening with friends (and my dog). I look forward to my next visit!

Maison tenue par 2 sommeliers jeunes et dynamiques. Leur carte des vins est top. Il m'ont fait découvrir deux vins fabuleux de Bourgogne même si nous avons notre maison de famille là-bas. Wow, deze avond was echt te gek! We hadden geen idee wat we konden verwachten, maar het was echt memorabel. We dachten dat we al veel wisten over Riesling, maar Lukas wist ons steeds weer te verrassen met zijn keuzes en elke wijn paste perfect bij het eten. Na het dessert hebben we de sommelier zelf een keuze laten maken en hij kwam met een geweldige Etna Rosso op de proppen. De hele tafel was even stil van deze wijn. Deze mannen zijn echt gepassioneerd over wijn en spijs en ze willen die passie graag met hun gasten delen. Super bedankt, jongens! We gaan deze avond zeker nog lang herinneren.

Fijne plek met een goede sfeer! Dat deze mensen verstand van zaken hebben is gelijk duidelijk; heerlijke champagne (eigen import) om te beginnen en mooi advies vanuit de overzichtelijke, maar toch verrassende en vriendelijk geprijsde wijnkaart. Het eten is echter hetgene wat ons misschien wel het meeste heeft doen glimlachen, alles goed bereid en bomvol smaak. Proef zeker het briochebrood met aanverwanten! Tot snel weer in de NOTK!

Mooie culinaire avond gehad bij NOTK. Het is een ander concept dan een ‘klassiek’ restaurant: de focus ligt op de wijnen, daarbij worden verfijnde gerechtjes geserveerd die de wijn goed ondersteunen. Thomas en Lukas kunnen je alles vertellen over de wijnen waardoor wat je glas zit veel meer gaat ‘leven’ en je snapt wat je drinkt. Tegelijkertijd wordt er nuchter Rotterdams over wijn gesproken, en niet wollig of uit de hoogte. Dat maakt het laagdrempelig hier naar toe te gaan als je weinig of geen kennis van wijn hebt. Niet alleen de wijn-spijs combinaties zijn smaakvol, dat geldt ook voor het interieur. Ik raad deze plek zeer aan!

Heerlijke avond gehad. Waanzinnig goede wijnen met bijpassende gerechten. De stoof van procureur is echt een aanrader. Romantische ambiance en de sommeliers weten alles tot in perfectie uit te leggen. Verborgen pareltje in Rotterdam!

Super gegeten en gedronken bij NOTK wijn-en resto bar waar topwijnen de basis vormen voor de pairings. Maar het eten is ook top van smaak en is zeker niet ondergeschikt aan de wijn. De kennis van de wijnen wordt aan tafel ook echt op een leuke manier overgebracht aan de gast, dit vind je op deze manier niet op een andere plek in Rotterdam. Hidden gem!

Iemand meegenomen die nog nooit van zijn leven wijn had gedronken. De sommeliers wisten hier raad mee en hebben ons een heerlijke riesling aangeraden. Ze wisten hem te overtuigen van de mooi aspecten van wijn en ook het tweede glas wijn werd ingeschonken. Ook met dieetwensen wisten de sommeliers en kok goed om te gaan. Het frietje stoof is glutenvrij heerlijk:). Zeker de moeite waard!

Mooie nieuwe toevoeging aan Rotterdam. Een van de weinig plekken waar ze wijn en spijs zo onlosmakelijk met elkaar verbinden. Zowel voor de wijnkenner iets nieuws te leren alsmede voor iedereen die zich graag laat verassen en niks weet van wijn. Gerechten zijn hoogstand, verfijnd, maar zonder ale te veel poespas. Wij komen terug!

Toegankelijk, gezellig en open wine bar. Goede service en bovenal de wijn spijs ervaring in plaats van spijs wijn. Met zorg worden de mooiste wijnen uitgekozen en in het glas geschonken. Heerlijke avond gehad en lekker om langs te komen ook voor een mooi glas wijn en een snackie.
