Food, service and coffee were excellent. I wish I had time and space to squeeze in more pastries.

We came here for the gluten-free croissants and they didn't disappoint!! We ordered the chocolate and the ham and cheese ones and they were both delicious. They also have cannoli 😍 The coffee was very good and the service was excellent.

Gluten free dream bakery!! The pastries, coffee and service here were 10/10. There isn’t very much seating so you will most likely need to take your goodies to go but truly worth it! Will definitely be coming back asap.

We stopped in for coffee and croissants in this lovely shop while walking through the nearby outdoor market. The ham and cheese croissant was absolutely delicious, as was the coffee. The baristas were super friendly and welcoming.

A bakery where I could eat anything - a coeliac’s dream! So many pastry options (for good prices too) and lovely coffee. Minimal seating inside but we managed to get the lovely sofa by the window. Absolutely come to this bakery!

This place has the absolute best GF croissants I've ever had. If only I could take an endless number of them home with me. Also lots of other yummy GF pastries. We bought some stuff and then had to come back 15 min later to buy more when we realized just how good it was. 10/10 would definitely come here again if in Amsterdam

These are the best gluten free croissants I have ever had in my life. Everything in the bakery is gluten free. This was phenomenal!!! Highlight of amsterdam and I will be dreaming about this bakery forever. Try the ham and cheese croissant and the cinnamon muffin!!!! So yummy I miss it already

Love the croissants here! All gluten free so we got a few to try. The ham and cheese is delicious, very smokey meat which we loved. The original is lovely. We also got the almond which was a bit too sweet for our taste. Also tried the stroopwaffle but wasn't keen. Would love to try the bread rolls as they look very yummy. Busy and small so we got it to take away and went to the park. It was already very busy by 10.30am.

I didn't like the croissants, sorry, I tried 3 different ones but they were all doughy inside, no different than eating bread. Croissants are nothing like this, I read the comments with astonishment. Coffee was beatiful.

Truly delicious!! There's always a long line, but that's for a reason, of course. I eat gluten myself, so that's not the reason, but everything melts in your mouth. The croissants are more like oliebollen or something, less dry. And the pistachio cake is also delicious.

It's a wonderful place. Anything I can say wouldn't be enough. The food is already exceptionally good, so there's no need to describe it. But I was blown away by their hospitality. The way they understood we were Turkish, the way they played Turkish songs, and the conversations they had in Turkish were truly thrilling. Thank you so much. Very few exclusive gluten-free places in Amsterdam, and this place was not only truly wonderful in everything they offered, but also excellent in terms of prices and variety! A bakery like no other! Excellent service and right in the heart of the city!

The barista immediately recognized me from my last visit and remembered exactly what I ordered. That felt personal and welcoming. The coffee was excellent again, nicely balanced and well-made. The atmosphere was peaceful with soft music, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle outside.

Finally I had for breakfast gluten free croissants, though I'd spent years searching for one as delicious as the one here. The staff girls are lovely, and the prices are super fair. The pistachio muffin was awesome too. Thank you for existing.

If you have celiac disease or any serious gluten sensitivity, stay far away from this bakery. I brought my own gluten detector to check one of their “safe” baked goods, and it tested positive for gluten. Instead of showing concern or even basic decency, the owner screamed at me and my family in front of a packed bakery, yelling “GET OUT OF MY BAKERY.” She acted like me protecting my health was some kind of insult to her, which is absolutely ridiculous and i walked out almost crying. People with celiac aren’t “accusing” anyone, we’re trying not to end up sick for days. The complete lack of professionalism, compassion, or understanding was shocking. If you actually care about your safety or want to support a business that respects people with medical conditions, go somewhere else. This place is a nightmare for anyone who needs to take gluten seriously. Plus the lady who owns the place is super defensive and has a fragile ego.

This is gluten-free heaven! EVERYTHING is fabulous. Go in the morning for the best selection. Order a cup of fresh mint or fresh ginger tea as a perfect accompaniment to your pastries.

This was the best croissant I have ever eaten! And I couldn’t believe it was gluten free! When I took my first bite of the croissant, it was so good that I had to immediately go back inside to double check that it was actually gluten free and then buy a second croissant! I would love to know how they manage to make it so light and delicious! Even my gluten-eating family said it was one of the best croissants they had ever eaten and we had just come from Paris.

Difficult to review cuz: I went there to have a vegan and gluten free Croissant, after not being able to have something like that for about a year, so I was extremely sad when I found an empty store...the employee told us there was a large group earlier that day that bought everything. So sadly I didn't get my croissant, but the lady was so extremely nice to gift me two gluten free bread rolls from the freezer:).

Visited spontaneously today and it was easily the best gluten free experience I've ever had since finding out I'm intolerant. The croissants were unbelievable and the young serving lady was very friendly and helpful!

The reputation of this sweet bakery has spread as far as northern Germany. Unfortunately, we arrived much too late to snag one of the highly sought-after croissants. The shop was practically sold out. But the very, very friendly lady there, perhaps the owner, softened our disappointment by spontaneously giving us two delicious rolls. How kind of her! Thank you so much! It's a shame we're no longer in Amsterdam to shop there today.

The lady that makes the croissants (all of the different kinds) is an absolute genius, a gluten-free baking goddess. I had tears in my eyes after trying a croissant that tasted and felt like the real deal, for the first time in 15 years! - they had nothing to envy to their glutinous counterparts. If you go early-ish you can get them warm - I was in heaven. It’s worth a regular trip to Amsterdam just to be able to eat them.

Literally got there 10 minutes after they opened and there was a line out the door! And with good REASON!!! Everything was gluten free and so good! I have not had a croissant since learning I can’t have gluten, so of course I got 2, I wish I had gotten 4. The people were so friendly too and the shop was adorably cute. I recommend for sure!

My biggest regret during my Amsterdam visit. I regret that I did not find it until the day before we left. I regret that we visited late in the day and missed a lot of the sweet treats. I regret that I did not go back before I left. My word. This bakery had the BEST croissants I have ever tasted. I purchased one cheese and ham and immediately went back in for two more. I also tried a cannoli for the first time in my life which was delectable. The ladies in the Cafe were friendly and it was a gorgeous little place. Do not leave with regrets like I did. Make sure this is your first stop and regular, you will not regret it!

The products are simply fantastic. I'm not gluten-free, but I've tasted quite a few, and I have to say: Many of them are simply incredibly delicious. Not just "tasty for gluten-free people," but simply delicious for baked goods. I can only recommend everyone to try them. Especially—but not only—if you have to follow a gluten-free diet. It's certainly also a great gift for people who are gluten-intolerant. Most of them keep easily for 1-2 days.

Delicious and tasty desserts, all gluten-free—I've never found such a deal anywhere! Incredible! The service is a little slow, but very kind and helpful. The place is beautiful and well-kept, but a bit small, with very little seating, making it practically impossible to eat in. Highly recommended cinnamon roll ;) The coffee is also excellent.

Found this gem late in the day so they were pretty wiped out. Was able to enjoy a small pastry and take some croissants they had frozen. Even though I didn't have an oven to do the recommended warming up these were the BEST pastries I have eaten since having to give up gluten.

A dream for anyone with celiac disease/gluten intolerance. The baked goods are freshly prepared and taste incredibly delicious. Better than, or at least as good as, gluten-containing products. Highly recommended, and I would visit again! The prices are more than fair and incomparable.

As a celiac / coeliac, it's nearly impossible to eat in Amsterdam, even when shopping at the grocer. Luckily I had Craft bookmarked on Google Maps to try. I went on a Saturday around lunchtime as they're only open Wednesday - Saturday 10 AM - 4 PM. There was a line of people out of the door. The line moved fast and the staff spoke English to me, which I appreciated as a non-Dutch speaker. I ordered a cinnamon roll (less than €4), an almond croissant (€3.25), a chocolate croissant (€3.10), a hand pie (Gevulde koek €2.95) and a loaf of rustic bread (€4.50) for around €17! I've paid more than that for just a loaf of gluten-free bread in the US (California.) The croissants actually tasted like real croissants. The hand pie (I'm not sure what the real name of it is) was tasty and filled with marzipan. The cinnamon roll... OMG I ate it cold the next day. It was the best cinnamon roll of my life, including before diagnosis. Rather than icing, it had a crispy sugar topping that crisped the edges of the roll slightly. It was incredible. I haven't cut into the bread yet, I brought it back home to Las Vegas, USA to eat. It looks good though. Overall I highly recommend this place. I just wish it was open longer / more days and I wish I had bought more treats! Luckily there is a daily Las Vegas to Amsterdam flight on KLM so I can fly back to get more! Visited July 2025

I simply don't know how they do it! They are working some serious magic in this bakery! Gluten Free croissants that taste better than most gluten containing ones! For gluten free they are mind blowing!! And incredible value. I cannot fine an edible GF croissant in the UK, despite some costing as much as £7! These are large, flakey, light, and buttery. And although I forget the exact price, they were about 3 Euro. Their bread is also incredible. The best GF bread I have eaten. I had to double check their website as it was so good I couldn't believe it was gluten free! The butter cakes (Boterkoek) was super special also. I only hope their success continues to the point the franchise this amazing GF baked products in other countries. We will be back to Amsterdam just for these croissants!

The best gluten free croissant I’ve ever had! I had a regular croissant and a ham and cheese croissant. It was perfection.

We came across this bakery by chance and had to wait about 20 minutes to get in the shop to place an order. There were three ladies working in the bakery at time we visited they did work hard, our coffee was served pretty quickly as well as the delicious food we ordered. Bakery products were fantastic and coffee was tasty too. There are very limited seating available if you'd like to have food & the drink on premises. The day we were there, June 5th happened to be Cafe's birthday they were offering some modest discount on the purchases. Nice food, recommended.

I think this was one of the worst coffees I had in my life. From a place that has 'craft coffee' in its name, I expect at least a decent coffee. We were almost about to throw it away, because it was unbearably bitter and tasteless. The woman who made the coffee took forever, so that I actually finished eating my croissant even before the coffee was ready - and we just ordered an americano and cappuccino. To be fair: i think for people serving gluten-free products, this must be heaven. The rest should go somewhere else. Seriously.

What a great discovery! My mother and I visited Craft Coffee and Pastry during a day in Amsterdam, looking for a place with really good gluten-free options and this place exceeded our expectations. I had a gluten-free and lactose-free chocolate croissant, and it was without a doubt one of the best I have ever had. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and just the right amount of chocolate. My mother opted for the almond croissant (also gluten-free and lactose-free) and was just as enthusiastically deliciously sweet, with a perfect balance between almond paste and dough. The cappuccinos were just as delicious as the croissants: full of flavor, nicely foamed, and perfectly balanced. The shop itself is small but cozy, with a warm, artisanal atmosphere and friendly staff who really have an eye for detail and customer focus. For anyone who eats gluten-free and/or lactose-free but still wants to enjoy top quality and tasty treats: Craft is highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

I almost burst into tears because it looked so good! We got the croissants, bread, and some pastries. While trying them with my girlfriend, I actually cried because this is so good. I was so disheartened by the gluten-free stuff in Germany that I never thought I would actually be able to ever eat bread this good again. THIS IS SO GOOD!!!! 10/10 It's a small shop, and because it's this good, expect it to be packed, but it's 100% worth the wait.

Best Gluten free Croissants in the city!!

Best... BEST croissants ever and im talking also non gf versions... I bought a lot of them before my return flight and froze them. 3 months later; still BANGING. (airfried them) The price COULD be lower but it's still acceptable. Also didn't enjoy the ham/cheese one I think the plain good old croissant is the most enjoyable product from them. Also the whole; having to stay in line, running out of the croissants jig is not enjoyable... Just bake more i really don't understand 😓 P.s if you are buying ANY kind of pastry (sweets etc too) you should eat instantly. If you wait like half an hour they loose all crispiness and become soggy. That's why airfryer discovery was a life savior for me.

Unfortunately I cannot judge the food . I came all the way from Utrecht and at 1 pm they did not have anything available . Cannoli was an option but as Sicilian, it is not my first pick . Just disappointed that around lunch time there is not option available . I have asked if they could warm up a croissant that was frozen so my trip was not wasted and they could not do it . I am not sure if this make sense when a place is closing at 4pm and not having availability already at 1pm . I am greatful for this place , even if I did not have the chance to try anything. As coeliac I don’t even have the luxury to get something at 1 pm. Going back home sad and disappointed

It was a bit of a walk for us today, but well worth it to get gluten free treats for my daughter. We tried the croissants (almond & cheese) & various sweets. All were very good. The girls at the counter were very friendly & patient.

Absolutely delicious! This is one of the best croissants I have ever had (even before the celiac diagnosis). Prices are very reasonable and everything I had was incredible— highly recommended the ham and cheese croissant but you really can’t go wrong. Everything being gluten free is a dream come true! Gluten free croissants are near impossible to find, so happy this exists! Totally worth the trip over here if you are in Amsterdam and are celiac!

Although they always comment on how disgusting my gluten-free bread is, they liked these croissants better than the 'normal' ones! I'll definitely come back here.
