The lady that makes the croissants (all of the different kinds) is an absolute genius, a gluten-free baking goddess. I had tears in my eyes after trying a croissant that tasted and felt like the real deal, for the first time in 15 years! - they had nothing to envy to their glutinous counterparts. If you go early-ish you can get them warm - I was in heaven. It’s worth a regular trip to Amsterdam just to be able to eat them.

The most delicious gluten-free croissants you'll ever eat!! ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 The pistachio cake is delicious, as are the buns! There's always a line, but it's worth it. The staff is also very friendly. I hope they eventually move into a larger location so there's more seating inside 🥰✨

Literally got there 10 minutes after they opened and there was a line out the door! And with good REASON!!! Everything was gluten free and so good! I have not had a croissant since learning I can’t have gluten, so of course I got 2, I wish I had gotten 4. The people were so friendly too and the shop was adorably cute. I recommend for sure!

If you’re gluten free don’t walk but run to this lovely little bakery. The croissants are amazing only outshone by the lovely people working there. Thank you ladies you made a gluten free man very happy.

My biggest regret during my Amsterdam visit. I regret that I did not find it until the day before we left. I regret that we visited late in the day and missed a lot of the sweet treats. I regret that I did not go back before I left. My word. This bakery had the BEST croissants I have ever tasted. I purchased one cheese and ham and immediately went back in for two more. I also tried a cannoli for the first time in my life which was delectable. The ladies in the Cafe were friendly and it was a gorgeous little place. Do not leave with regrets like I did. Make sure this is your first stop and regular, you will not regret it!

It would be so nice if this delicious bread were available in more cities... Preferably in Utrecht 💓

The products are simply fantastic. I'm not gluten-free, but I've tasted quite a few, and I have to say: Many of them are simply incredibly delicious. Not just "tasty for gluten-free people," but simply delicious for baked goods. I can only recommend everyone to try them. Especially—but not only—if you have to follow a gluten-free diet. It's certainly also a great gift for people who are gluten-intolerant. Most of them keep easily for 1-2 days.

Delicious and tasty desserts, all gluten-free—I've never found such a deal anywhere! Incredible! The service is a little slow, but very kind and helpful. The place is beautiful and well-kept, but a bit small, with very little seating, making it practically impossible to eat in. Highly recommended cinnamon roll ;) The coffee is also excellent.

Everything here is gluten-free!!! The pastry is amazing. Ham and cheese croissant melt in your mouth. Also, chocolate one did not disappoint 😊 It's a small bakery. They have a couple of chairs inside and outside. Such a lovely people working here.

I could literally cry from happiness. Ever since I had to cut out gluten I always thought I would never be able to find a pastry that will match the non gluten free ones. I was so wrong. Found this gem late in the day so they were pretty wiped out. Was able to enjoy a small pastry and take some croissants they had frozen. Even though I didn't have an oven to do the recommended warming up these were the BEST pastries I have eaten since having to give up gluten.

A dream for anyone with celiac disease/gluten intolerance. The baked goods are freshly prepared and taste incredibly delicious. Better than, or at least as good as, gluten-containing products. Highly recommended, and I would visit again! The prices are more than fair and incomparable.

As a celiac / coeliac, it's nearly impossible to eat in Amsterdam, even when shopping at the grocer. Luckily I had Craft bookmarked on Google Maps to try. I went on a Saturday around lunchtime as they're only open Wednesday - Saturday 10 AM - 4 PM. There was a line of people out of the door. The line moved fast and the staff spoke English to me, which I appreciated as a non-Dutch speaker. I ordered a cinnamon roll (less than €4), an almond croissant (€3.25), a chocolate croissant (€3.10), a hand pie (Gevulde koek €2.95) and a loaf of rustic bread (€4.50) for around €17! I've paid more than that for just a loaf of gluten-free bread in the US (California.) The croissants actually tasted like real croissants. The hand pie (I'm not sure what the real name of it is) was tasty and filled with marzipan. The cinnamon roll... OMG I ate it cold the next day. It was the best cinnamon roll of my life, including before diagnosis. Rather than icing, it had a crispy sugar topping that crisped the edges of the roll slightly. It was incredible. I haven't cut into the bread yet, I brought it back home to Las Vegas, USA to eat. It looks good though. Overall I highly recommend this place. I just wish it was open longer / more days and I wish I had bought more treats! Luckily there is a daily Las Vegas to Amsterdam flight on KLM so I can fly back to get more! Visited July 2025

So incredibly tasty! Best croissant I ever had and it's so amazing that everything is glutenfree! The people working here are super nice as well. There was a line before entering but not longer than 10 minutes and every minute waiting is definitely worth it! I will 100% go back here

I simply don't know how they do it! They are working some serious magic in this bakery! Gluten Free croissants that taste better than most gluten containing ones! For gluten free they are mind blowing!! And incredible value. I cannot fine an edible GF croissant in the UK, despite some costing as much as £7! These are large, flakey, light, and buttery. And although I forget the exact price, they were about 3 Euro. Their bread is also incredible. The best GF bread I have eaten. I had to double check their website as it was so good I couldn't believe it was gluten free! The butter cakes (Boterkoek) was super special also. I only hope their success continues to the point the franchise this amazing GF baked products in other countries. We will be back to Amsterdam just for these croissants!

All gluten free. I had a chocolate croissant (3,10€) very good! Friendly staff.

We came across this bakery by chance and had to wait about 20 minutes to get in the shop to place an order. There were three ladies working in the bakery at time we visited they did work hard, our coffee was served pretty quickly as well as the delicious food we ordered. Bakery products were fantastic and coffee was tasty too. There are very limited seating available if you'd like to have food & the drink on premises. The day we were there, June 5th happened to be Cafe's birthday they were offering some modest discount on the purchases. Nice food, recommended.

I think this was one of the worst coffees I had in my life. From a place that has 'craft coffee' in its name, I expect at least a decent coffee. We were almost about to throw it away, because it was unbearably bitter and tasteless. The woman who made the coffee took forever, so that I actually finished eating my croissant even before the coffee was ready - and we just ordered an americano and cappuccino. To be fair: i think for people serving gluten-free products, this must be heaven. The rest should go somewhere else. Seriously.

What a great discovery! My mother and I visited Craft Coffee and Pastry during a day in Amsterdam, looking for a place with really good gluten-free options and this place exceeded our expectations. I had a gluten-free and lactose-free chocolate croissant, and it was without a doubt one of the best I have ever had. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and just the right amount of chocolate. My mother opted for the almond croissant (also gluten-free and lactose-free) and was just as enthusiastically deliciously sweet, with a perfect balance between almond paste and dough. The cappuccinos were just as delicious as the croissants: full of flavor, nicely foamed, and perfectly balanced. The shop itself is small but cozy, with a warm, artisanal atmosphere and friendly staff who really have an eye for detail and customer focus. For anyone who eats gluten-free and/or lactose-free but still wants to enjoy top quality and tasty treats: Craft is highly recommended. We will definitely be back!

If I could give 100 stars, I would! This gluten-free bakery in Amsterdam is an absolute dream for anyone with celiac disease. Everything I tried was outstanding—nothing else compares. The quality is incredible, and the staff are genuinely kind and welcoming. Please never close your doors and never compromise on what makes this place so special. A true gem!

Best Gluten free Croissants in the city!!

I almost burst into tears because it looked so good! We got the croissants, bread, and some pastries. While trying them with my girlfriend, I actually cried because this is so good. I was so disheartened by the gluten-free stuff in Germany that I never thought I would actually be able to ever eat bread this good again. THIS IS SO GOOD!!!! 10/10 It's a small shop, and because it's this good, expect it to be packed, but it's 100% worth the wait.

Unfortunately I cannot judge the food . I came all the way from Utrecht and at 1 pm they did not have anything available . Cannoli was an option but as Sicilian, it is not my first pick . Just disappointed that around lunch time there is not option available . I have asked if they could warm up a croissant that was frozen so my trip was not wasted and they could not do it . I am not sure if this make sense when a place is closing at 4pm and not having availability already at 1pm . I am greatful for this place , even if I did not have the chance to try anything. As coeliac I don’t even have the luxury to get something at 1 pm. Going back home sad and disappointed

Best... BEST croissants ever and im talking also non gf versions... I bought a lot of them before my return flight and froze them. 3 months later; still BANGING. (airfried them) The price COULD be lower but it's still acceptable. Also didn't enjoy the ham/cheese one I think the plain good old croissant is the most enjoyable product from them. Also the whole; having to stay in line, running out of the croissants jig is not enjoyable... Just bake more i really don't understand 😓 P.s if you are buying ANY kind of pastry (sweets etc too) you should eat instantly. If you wait like half an hour they loose all crispiness and become soggy. That's why airfryer discovery was a life savior for me.

the BEST gluten free pastries you will ever have!! I go here almost every week. The chocolate and almond croissants are my favorite!! Not a lot of seating so come early if you want a spot to sit and enjoy your croissant.

It was a bit of a walk for us today, but well worth it to get gluten free treats for my daughter. We tried the croissants (almond & cheese) & various sweets. All were very good. The girls at the counter were very friendly & patient.

Absolutely delicious! This is one of the best croissants I have ever had (even before the celiac diagnosis). Prices are very reasonable and everything I had was incredible— highly recommended the ham and cheese croissant but you really can’t go wrong. Everything being gluten free is a dream come true! Gluten free croissants are near impossible to find, so happy this exists! Totally worth the trip over here if you are in Amsterdam and are celiac!

I've been eating gluten-free for as long as I can remember. Together with my (non-gluten-free) friends I went to Craft Coffee & Pastry Amsterdam for breakfast. Although they always comment on how disgusting my gluten-free bread is, they liked these croissants better than the 'normal' ones! I'll definitely come back here.

Amazing gluten free products, probably the best gluten free croissant we have had. So good that we immediatley queued up for a second helping. My daughter who is coeliac, said it was so good that she panicked that it wasn't gluten free!!. Friendly and helpful staff. I saw a number of first time customers jaws drop when they saw what was on offer. Very small shop though, with only a handful of seats, so be prepared to take away as you are unlikley to get to sit down at peak periods. A definite must visit for anyone with coeliac disease or a preference for gluten free.

All gluten-free bakery! What happiness! We had a chocolate croissant which was delicious! An exquisite strawberry bar. Two cookies and a muffin that we haven't tasted yet but I'm rather optimistic given the other dishes tasted! The store is so cute. Plan to act like a girl but the wait is definitely worth it!!!

By far the best GF croissant I have ever had. The baguette is also divine! I’m a baker and my girlfriend is Gluten Free, so I do a lot of GF baking for her. What the bakers here have accomplished is truly special! I also had a lovely conversation with the staff and they were happy to share their tips with me! They even sell their flour to bake at home.

I could not visit Amsterdam without visiting Craft Coffee & Pastry. I have been gluten free for 17 years and Craft make the best gluten free croissants I have tasted. There are lots of other delicious baked goods to choose from too. Staff are lovely and the coffee shop is well situated.

Queue of at least 50 people denied us from buying anything, we didn't have app. 2 hours for buying GF pastry & go :-( Maybe next time... (well, I understand it was "your busiest day in year" - and I'm really glad that you're succesfull - but on the other side we travelled 1000km to you in trust of best glutenfree bakery in town, and in fact, we we're a little bit reliant of this option of buying GF pastry (due to limited very limited offer in Amsterdam opposite to other european cities), and this option simply crashed for us - but we're expecting for option of tasting next visit and then will edit review, but sorry, lenght of queue is also important view, isn't it? - maybe you (and in fact other runners in Amsterdam) should consider to better separate "sell to go" and "I'll take a seat"]

This is by far the best gluten free croissant I’ve ever had. I’ve tried a lot around the world since I am Celiac and there’s a close contender in LA but this is still the best. The texture is so similar to a regular croissant and flavor is amazing. It’s kind of cool because there was a hint of a sourdough-esque flavor which I enjoyed. On top of that, the staff there were just the loveliest! Shoutout to Shereena who was so sweet and wrote down a few places for me to visit in Amsterdam since I’m visiting from out of town. Would highly recommend!!

Amazing gluten free bakery. The croissants are delicious and the best gf I've had. Light and fluffy with a nice crisp on the outside. Very reasonable prices - 3 croissants, a cookie, and a muffin came to €14.

Fantastic gluten free baked goods. Note that it is almost always crowded and they sell out fast so it’s a good idea to preorder things on Saturday. Also there isn’t much seating but I’ve always found a nice bench or park nearby.

My wife is Gluten free and in the Netherlands that means something. I think she bought everything here and lived it all. Mostly a take way, still super cute.

Holy moly, what a TREAT! Both my mother and I are gf - I have celiac - neither of us have ever had a croissant as good as Craft’s - the kind that make you double and triple check to make sure it is what it is. The buttery taste, flaky and delicate melt in your mouth texture - something that doesn’t usually exist in the gf world. Will be going back tomorrow for sure, maybe even the next. An excellent find they said everything was gluten free so a lot of choice. There was a long queue when we arrived and when we left. It’s very popular.

A great bakery! - I really like their chocolate croissant, it is also very popular. The reason why I don’t give 5 stars however is that they have a rather narrow array of options and that’s a bit limiting - Prices are very much on average - Location is in the heart of De Pijp so very well located - Atmosphere inside is very cosy, don’t have many seats but it’s fair, and I really like the lighting and designs - staff was very kind and smiling

We have not been to every gluten-free bakery in the world, but this is the best one we found. Especially delicious are the ham and cheese croissants and the cinnamon buns.

Absolutely excellent - this place has the best gluten free croissants we’ve had so far ever - fluffy, fillable, and generously sized. It isn’t the cheapest but the quality of the foods is amazing! You have got to go here! And we have got to collectively petition for the recipe haha.

Best gf croissant ever. The crostata was great too. Good coffee and service. Edit: They are sooo good. The kind lady who is the main baker is wonderful and everything she and her team make is excellent. This is my first and main stop in Amsterdam every time I visit. The pistachio kouglouf, the marzipan croissant, the crostatas are heavenly and well priced. They don't tax you for your gluten issues and sell sub par taste stuff like a lot of shops in Paris rather they makes viennoiseries even better than the normal ones! I also got to try their vanilla layer cake and the owner's personal favorite butter cake. Beyond words! I will always be going back to them. This is a very special place.

Qué fantástico hallazgo - 100% sin gluten, que como celíaco significaba tranquilidad para mí. Los cruasanes estaban tan deliciosos (y grandes! ) que volvimos al día siguiente a comprar más para llevar a casa! Y también había una variedad de rellenos. No llegamos a los panes, pero se veían deliciosos también. Tenga cuidado con las horas de apertura / días, y prepárese para hacer cola, pero vale la pena esperar por completo.
