BEST stroopwafels we tasted on the whole trip, as we tried to taste as many different ones as possible, that's saying something. Fantastically delicious, and incredibly charming and friendly staff who joked and chatted a little extra. We came back in the afternoon and they waved at us when we walked past again, they had remembered us and continued talking and joking. 10/10 for the waffles and 10/10 for the staff, exactly the kind of people who should be at a market! It was also reasonably priced, 3 euros per fresh stroopwafel.

We tried the typical Dutch waffles. The dough is thin and has a delicious cinnamon flavor. They're filled with chocolate, and you can add more on top. They're served freshly made. The staff is very friendly.

Permanent market stall / caravan. Brothers are full sellers. It is closed 3 days a week. They come sometime on other days. If you find it, you can buy it. We will look at the next matches and days. It is not possible more than luck.

The original stroopwafel stall on the Albert Cuyp. Tasty for those with a sweet tooth, draws tourists like crazy and unfortunately now has many copycats on the market.

The place and host both are awesome. They have only 2 stroopwafels, original and chocolate one. I had the original one and it was amazing. Be ready for the amazing interaction.

I visited this place after reading good reviews online. I went around 1 PM and there were only two groups ahead of me, so I didn’t have to wait long. (I noticed a line forming when I left, so I think I got lucky with the timing.) They make each order fresh, so you get it piping hot. The caramel inside is really gooey, so be careful to hold it upright or it might spill out. It was very tasty.

A very touristy thing to do but for good reason! The stroopwafels are genuinely delicious and freshly made so different to your packaged variety. The queue goes down pretty quickly and the guys running the stall keep you entertained anyway.

Best place for stroopwafels in Netherlands. Hot and freshly served. The ques are long but the move fast. Staff is friendly and keeps you engaged. They accept card payments. Go for the original stroopwafel without chocolate for authentic taste. You completely get transformed into another world with Rudi's stroopwafels. I will definitely come back if I visit Amsterdam again. Please check the timings before coming here as they are not open on all days of the week.

The best Stroopwafel , its worth the waiting each time

Probably the most popular stall in the entire street. The staff was super sweet and chatty and welcoming - and this was to everyone! Considering the long line, I'm impressed they are able to maintain this momentum. That said, stroopwafel is likely not for me - too sweet. Though that's how stroopwafel are supposed to be, so I'm not taking a star from this shop. They prepare the stroopwafel on the spot - from the wafer to the sugar coating and chocolate.

By far, the best stroopwafel that I've tried during my time in the Netherlands. Not only the flavour is sublime, but the experience is really worth it, it's beautiful to see the family working with so much passion, and they're super nice people. The line can seem quite big, but it moves really fast. My first visit was in 2023 and I absolutely loved it. So when I came back to the Netherlands for my exchange this year, I knew what was my first stop in Amsterdam. I strongly recommend everyone to try it.

Quite reasonable price compared to other specialists in the center. Very good and made in front of you. There are other shops that sell them on the Albert CUYPMARKT market but Rudi’s is the one to choose. I bought packs of stroopwafels from Rudi and from competitors on the market, once back home, there is no picture, Rudi's are the best.

The stroopwafels are phenomenal - delicious and rich without being too sweet and they hold together. They were also fantastic about my fiancé's hazelnut allergy - the man making the stroopwafel reassured my fiancé that there were no nuts in the recipe and changed his gloves to ensure there was no residue from the chocolate hazelnut sauce. Additionally, they were willing to accommodate selling us an entire box of stroopwafel so that our friends and family at home could enjoy our favorite Dutch treat! HIGHLY recommend Rudi's foodtruck - the best stroopwafel and supporting a wonderful family business!

The waffles are the best in town.

You have to wait in line for a while, but when you take the first bite, you will understand that it is worth it. The seller is friendly and attentive. It is the most delicious among the Stroopwafels.

Despite the queue, which overall was quick, you can feel the authenticity of the product. Excellent price around 4 euros, depending on the additions you choose. It is also worth taking the box too: excellent as a gift.

The seller manages to make jokes with every customer. And never gets tired of it. The most delicious waffle I've ever eaten. There's a pretty big line at noon. I recommend arriving around 11:00 when the bakery just opens.

There is a line however it moves fast. I liked the stroopwafels, it was crispier than i thought which i enjoyed. The staff were so nice, we got to chat a little bit. I've been going there for a few years now.. and I've also been to lots of stroopwafel shops around Amsterdam, however Rudi's Original is hands down the best one from all. And throughout the years, the quality didn't change, this is important. Not to mention the friendly people working there, always with a smile on their face. I always recommend this place to anyone asking me for stroopwafel. Keep it up!

Stroop waffles are delicious. The original is a bit more attractive than the chocolate. Please note that the line extends behind the truck, so you may have to wait longer than it appears.

Delicious, fresh, and only 3 euros. Don't buy the overpriced and stale Stropwaffels near Dam Square. These are the real deal.

If you want to try authentic Stroopwafels, this is the place. We took advantage of the morning walking through the market to get closer to this traditional stall. A small queue forms. It is very worth it. Order two instead of one, you will thank yourself later because they are delicious.

Freshly made, delicious and authentic Stroopwafels for a great price! These are the real deal if you’ve ever tried Stroopwafels before. There’s about a 10-15 minute wait but it goes by quickly. You can choose between an original or a chocolate Stroopwafel and they’re generously filled with caramel syrup in the middle. Great spot to try a loved Dutch snack for such an affordable price!

I went to this place in the late morning and only had to wait for few mins, lucky me! Got the original one and omg it was so good!!! At first I was scared it was going to be too sweet and I was going to ask the guy to only put half caramel, but it turned out to be perfect ratio between the super thin waffle with the caramel.

Absolutely delicious! The staff is so friendly and quick. Although there is a line it goes super fast. I got the original and it was delicious and hot! My only minor recommendation would to have wet wipes and not napkins because the warm caramel is deliciously sticky and gets all over your hands. Also unexpectedly saw a magic trick. When I walked up there was a older chef finishing the waffles, a younger girl working the register, and a young guy standing in the middle helping. I turned to look at something down the street and when I turned back it was now two older chefs and the young girl and the young guy was was no where to be seen. Its a small shop so there wasnt anywhere for him to go, no idea where the 2nd older chef guy came from. I turned to my neighbor and said did that middle guy just age 30 years. And I was confused til I got to the counter and realized the young guy was sitting on the floor eating his lunch. We all had a good laugh.

Delicious but a bit too sweet! The waffles are crispy, and the caramel melts perfectly when warmed, but the sweetness is a bit overpowering.

Definitely go here if you want to get authentic & delicious stroop waffles! 1000 times better than the crowded and overpriced stores in the city center. Not only do you get the tastiest waffles here, but you also get the friendliest and funniest service.

This is the only place to go to if you want to try stroopwafels in Amsterdam, anywhere else is overrated. Rudi's has the most divine ones, that are also crazy affordable. The employees are super nice and the whole process runs so smoothly even with the line in front so don't be scared if you see people waiting, you'll get your fresh and warm stroopwafel in 5 minutes tops!

An acquaintance of mine who had been to the Netherlands raved about the stroopwafels, saying that you must try them, so at first I thought he was making a fuss. For some reason, I thought it wouldn't suit my taste like apple pie, but it didn't at all. It is a food truck-like stroopwafel shop located in the Albert Kuip Market that has been in business for three generations since 1978. Two warm and gentle men who appeared to be father and son were grilling waffles. They don't sell anything other than stroopwafels, and there are only two types: original and chocolate. The price is reasonable at 2.5 euros for original and 3.5 euros for chocolate, and payment by credit card is also possible. I ordered a chocolate stroopwafel and it was made right away. It was completed by spreading caramel syrup on one sheet of freshly baked, hot waffle dough, covering it with another sheet, and then covering it with chocolate. The special feature was that the waffle batter was very thin, so it looked completely different from Belgian waffles. It felt like a combination of hotteok and waffles, but it actually tasted a bit like that. The dough, which looked so thin and tattered, had the twist of falling apart after one bite. Soon, hot caramel syrup flowed out from inside, exuding extreme sweetness and fragrance. The caramel syrup mixed with the dough and melted in the mouth, leaving a deep flavor even after it disappeared. It was a little greasy, but with the addition of chocolate syrup, it was surprisingly delicious. P.S. I think I will get diabetes if I eat it often.

Good option to try typical Dutch food. Visiting this area, I decided to try this typical sweet and the evaluation is positive. As for the flavor, I liked it. The service was very friendly on the part of the saleswoman and as for the price, it is not cheap, but it is the same as the rest of the stalls that offered this food, so it is normal.

Great place, unfortunately there are no seats. The staff is super friendly, waiting time is very short. The original is available for €2.50! The version with chocolate costs €3.50. You should wash your hands after eating, they are very sticky!

Very delicious and authentic stroopwafel at an affordable price point- they also don't hold back on the amount of honey in between the waffle layers. It just oozes out of the crust easily, piping hot and steamy. The father-son duo was entertaining and quick despite the long line and cold weather. Definitely worth the 10-15 minute queue time.
