There are no words to describe how good Margo's is. It is the best bakery in the Netherlands, and I have been to a LOT. Tahini jasmin latte was unexpectedly amazing. The cardemom bun is simply heavenly, I just wish they baked more of it because it is always sold out. Please hear my prayers and do, the world needs more of your cardemom buns.

A small cafe placed in middle of residential area. Expected more and travelled about 50 mins to try their food. The place is very small and not more than 2-4 people can stand within the shop. There was two small benches outside to sit but were full of cigarettes smell. Went for their sandwiches and toasties but ended up getting pastries as we weren’t able to see any menu of pastries and sandwiches. Was really disappointed. The pastries were big but coffee size were smaller. We tried double baked almond croissant and pain au chocolate. The double almond croissant was tasty but was over sugary in taste while pain au chocolate was well layers and very good. Both pastries tasted good but was felt overpriced. The coffee was available in pea, coconut milks and would have expected to see whole milk too. But its a good spot to try but needs lot of improvement

Delicious vegan bakery The Palestinian Danish is truly delicious. A combination of sweet and salty. And the fromage croissant is so deliciously large and buttery, just like a croissant should be. The gingerbread latte is also delicious. Margo's is the place to be for delicious plant-based pastries.

Brillant focaccia, had to ask if it actually was vegan! So yummy!!

The TAHINI BUN!!!!!!!! I will be dreaming about it until my next visit to Amsterdam!! the fluffiness and the filling are unreal!

The Palestinian danish and rose pistachio danish are truly so good. Come before 12 because they sell out quick (for good reason)

Was so so delicious we visited twice on our 3 day trip. My friend who is not vegan was blown away by the tastiness of the baked goods and bought 2 items each time. Favourites: Salamai focaccia, goats cheeze & honey foccacia, Palestine Danish, vanilla brioche!

It was very good and the staff were very friendly. Special mention to the gentleman who served me who spoke excellent French 🙂

True vegan heaven adored by non-vegans as well. The sweetest service. High vibes all around. If you can stop in only one bakery in Amsterdam, stop here. You will thank me later.

Tried this place upon a recommendation of local friends and we got the four things all to share between the three of us! Was delicious! My favourite was the pistachio rose Danish but the tahini bun was also great! The apple Danish was also very nice but I wouldn’t have needed so much of the cream which was nothing special. The matcha cookie was a bit odd, my friends didn’t like it at all and even volunteered their share! I thought it was ok but the consistency seemed off and it wasn’t very sweet (although one friend said she thought it too sweet so 🤷🏼‍♀️) I also got a flat white with pea milk which was lovely! I usually drink cow milk so I was very pleasantly surprised by how well the pea milk tasted in the coffee (I often find that oat milk coffees overpower and ruin the coffee taste a bit). It’s all vegan apparently which I love !! (and you really can’t tell!)

A delicious pumpkin spice latte! Perfect for an autumn walk on a Saturday afternoon. Because we went for coffee late in the afternoon, all the treats were sold out. A reason to go back!

Really nice vegan bakery, small variety but they all looked delicious. We had I think 6 different ones which as vegans we can't find in many places, like the croissants. I would have preferred if the cheese croissant had a little more filling, and the same with the pain au chocolat. They were all delicious though, and really reasonable prices. It didn't have many places to sit just two seats outside and one on the inside, so it's more a to go place. Would totally recommend!!

This place is just phenomenal when it comes to 🥯 I just had the most delicious Palestinian pastry with cheese and herbs ! So so aromatic and delicious! Also I had to try their apple saluted caramel danish and was fire 🔥! Highly recommended when in Amsterdam !

We got here late in the day so there were only a few food options left. They were nice, though! Not a lot of space to dine in, it's more of a takeaway place unless the only seats are free

What a delicious place, OMG! One of the best I've ever been, it's quite small so you can eat inside or take away! Those who work there are sooo friendly, welcoming and smiley! The options are delicious, you should definitely try it even if you're not vegan so you can discover how amazing is to eat vegan and so deliciously! Thank you Margo's!

It was really delicious. I had the vegan almond croissant (very crispy and incredibly flavorful) and a flat white with pea milk. They offered three milk alternatives, which I think is great. And the selection of vegan pastries was fantastic too. The only downside is that there aren't any proper places to sit and that taking it away creates a lot of waste.

Favourite vegan bakery in Amsterdam Pastries and sandwiches are amazing. You can taste that the bread is homemade and made with love. It‘s not the cheapest but the price is absolutely worth it

Delicious pastries. Only comment would be there's no way to have contact by phone. When we had issues with our delivery, I had to bike over there instead of just giving them a call.

Came back every day of our trip to Amsterdam! The matcha latte with pea milk and the chai latte were both delicious. We tried a few savory and sweet pastries and my favorite was the pistachio rose danish. So good! Also, the staff are so kind and friendly, and were playing great music.

Highly recommended, great service, amazing pastries, and very good coffee. The place isn't very comfortable to eat inside, and the coffee isn't served in cups, but in disposable cups.

Excellent selection of pastries that not only look good but taste good. Their croissants are excellent. They get just so pop through when they open to beat the line.

Everything is excellent, we also had the crispy sandwich and it was really good. Highly recommend, must go.

I've been to quite a lot of vegan bakeries at this point, and I'd honestly say the pistachio rose danish here was the best pastry I've ever had. I also tried the cheese croissant which was also amazing. I went with my friend two days in a row on our trip because it was that good (and got the pistachio one both days). I'm deathly allergic to dairy so it's always a really nice treat when I can eat like a normal person haha and go to places like this. But my friend who isn't vegan loved it just as much. The lattes were great as well. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!

Such a go to in Amsterdam! Amazing coffeee and amazing matcha 🍵 100% plantbased caked and croissants 🌱 Google mentions they do gluten free, but they don’t, due to cross contamination and they take their stuff very seriously here.

The almond croissant and the Palestinian cheese pastry were excellent but the rose and pistachios and the raspberry one were not for me. The raspberry cheese could have been if the pastry wasn’t so dry. Otherwise the cheese bits were delicious.

Amazing bakery - we had the Palestinian savory danish and the ham & cheese croissant and it was absolutely delicious. We will be dreaming of the croissant tonight - it tasted exactly how it looked: flaky but not crumbly, buttery, flavorful. The matcha was perfect too. Would be nice if there more possibilities to sit, as there are just a few benches inside and outside - but if kept in mind it is totally fine. We will be back soon! It’s a must try for vegans and non-vegans 💚

Very friendly service in a cute little shop in a quieter part of Amsterdam :) The food was EXTREMELY delicious! I also highly recommend the chai latte. The best part is that everything is vegan. I would go back anytime!

I'm still dreaming about those croissants! In my country it's not that easy to find vegan croissants - let alone with special fillings and toppings. So I really enjoyed their excellent croissants while in Amsterdam and will come back for sure!

The croissants were really delicious. Absolutely amazing. However, the cardamom flavored ones were terrible. To begin with, I don't think cardamom goes well with bread.

The best croissant I have tried anywhere in the world. Its big, crunchy, fluffy, buttery, and very satisfying to eat. I came here multiple times because its so good. Unbelievable plant based bakery!

I think the pistachio and rose bun is better than most of its counterparts in Amsterdam. I think the rose quirk is a nice touch. I also liked the fig bun. It doesn't have a heavy dough or feel overly oily. I just think a more generous amount of cream would make the buns even more beautiful and moist. All in all, I think this is a successful business with a small, consistent product. I'll be back from time to time to try their other varieties.

Pros: Size of the pastry , Quality and taste Cons: there are no tables only a few banks It was very delicious! They were very friendly and helpful. The croissants are heaven and very big :) They have pastry, hot drinks and iced matcha but also Focaccia. I think the prices are appropriate for the good quality they are selling. We paid 24€ for 1 croissant, 2 pain de chocolat, 1 pistachio danish and 2 drinks.

Super delicious laminated pastries. We ordered the fig one and the raspberry cheesecake one. We didn't even know they were plant based, highly recommend.

Fully vegan menu with a few delicious pastry options:) We really recommend the Raspberry Matcha and the Focaccia, because those were incredible! The staff was also very nice and when we asked they even gave us a few local tips for our Amsterdam trip. Really recommend going there!

Ordered an ice matcha latte with pea milk. It was good. First time trying pea milk, I would say it overpowers the matcha a bit too much. I would stick to coconut that I prefer. I tried the pistachio rose danish patry which was incredible. They have good pastries. But only benches outside and one inside. It’s a good to go spot.

This was the best vegan pastry I’ve had ever. I opted for the savoury pastry with Palestinian pepper. The pastry was so flaky and crispy. The iced matcha was great. The ladies serving were so friendly and helpful. I’ll have to go back again tomorrow! It’s mainly a takeaway place. There are a couple of chairs outside.

We had a pistachio Danish pastry to share for a snack. It was delicious; we expected it to be very sweet, but instead it seemed almost like a mix of sweet and savory. It reminded us a bit of rosemary bread. We really enjoyed it.

Super cute place! The employees are super friendly attentive I Had a Matcha Latte with oatmilk and a Croissant, was really good Prices are also good 5,5€ and 2,8€. Will come again! You can sit outside and enjoy the quiet street.

Great place! You can't really sit and drink coffee here. There are some seating areas (no tables on the windowsill) and some outside seating. Very friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit. So many delicious things, so much choice, I wanted to try everything! I went for the cardamom bun with a flat white and enjoyed it. The coffee is really good, and the bun was nice and fresh, a bit crispy on the outside and nice and chewy on the inside. The cardamom isn't overpowering; it's a really nice balance.

I personally find this bakery a bit overhyped. I like the pastries in the other vegan bakery (Saint Jean) a bit more

Amazing plant-based pastries! We had the tahini bun and the double baked pain au chocolat with hazelnut. Both were absolutely unreal, and the coffee was good too.

Delicious food! Friendly staff. It's a shame they only have one bench in the sun in the morning. With a bit of shuffling, two could fit next to each other, but the staff wasn't willing to cooperate.

Great cafe, great food. Staff is very kind. We dropped our coffee and they gave us a new one without even asking for it. Order anything, you cant go wrong here, highly recommended.

Please note: They stopped doing sandwiches 4 months ago, so the menus on here are out of date! There are savoury pastries and focaccias now, but no sandwiches. Everything is vegan and the focaccia was very tasty.

I just randomly walked in and I left pleasantly surprised ! Coffee is top tier and so are the baked treats- I took a sesame tahini cookie and it was heaven !!

I honestly could’ve cried tears of joy — the food at Margo's was absolutely delicious and the coffee was excellent. As a vegan, it’s rare to find a place where I can enjoy food this good without any guilt. The selection was great, and the prices were totally reasonable for the quality. The staff were friendly and helpful, which made the whole experience even better. If I had to name one tiny downside (and this goes for almost every place in Amsterdam), it would be the limited seating both indoors and outdoors. But other than that — 10/10. I’d go back in a heartbeat.

We visited early on a wednesday morning. The staff was really kind and told us beforehand that they were completely plantbased (which was the reason we were there, but it is amazing to tell everyone who might not know). We tried the iced strawberry matcha and iced latte, with the recommended pea milk, and had a kardamom bun. It was delicious and we will definitely come back!

Simply incredible! Everything we tried was delicious, it even makes you wonder, "Is it really vegan?", but of course it is! We were so happy with the discovery, and if I lived near Margo's, I think I'd eat it every day! Extremely balanced, and the Danish cream with those lemon pearls was surreal. Simply perfect. I highly recommend it! 🌱

Wowwww! This place is top tier. I’m a sucker for a good almond croissant, and my goodness, the one I had definitely made my ‘top-3’ of best almond croissants I’ve ever had. The coffee was delishhh too. Highly recommend!!
