Crossroads in Schiphol

Tijn was very helpful and made the trip amazing! Especially when my friend accidentally broke her glass :(

On Saturday evening, November 22nd, while waiting for family to arrive, we enjoyed delicious coffee at Crossroads. The staff was very friendly and service-oriented. It was such a pleasant wait for us. Thank you!!

Great place to grab a drink before boarding. Prices are high, but that's the case everywhere at Schiphol, unfortunately.

❗ Very bad experience. On August 21st, we ate at this café at Schiphol Airport: my husband had chicken satay and I had a chicken wrap. A few hours later, he developed a high fever and severe diarrhea. At first, we thought it was due to the heat, but he was eventually rushed to the hospital. He spent over a week on antibiotic IVs, risking sepsis. Our vacation was completely ruined, and we incurred significant additional expenses. I have serious concerns about the hygiene in this restaurant and the oversight at Schiphol Airport. ⚠️ I absolutely do not recommend this café if you want to maintain your health.

My favourite cafe whenever I arrive in Schiphol. It offers a calm and relatively quiet nook away from the hustle and bustle of Schiphol. And of course for a cappuccino and a bite to eat.

I came, I sat down, I waited. The waitress looked at me at least 10 times but preferred to serve Dutch people who arrived well after me. Anyway, I left; I can't stand this. For the French, avoid this avenue.

What a nightmare ordering here. The app doesn't work. The staff runs around like a headless chicken. They see you trying to order something, but they don't come. And to top it all off, you order a regular Coke and get one without sugar.

Our waitress was amazing, she did he job with pride and was always joking with us when she came to check on us. The food was amazing! The chicken sandwich wasn’t dry, but flavourful and rich! One of my companions had the French fries (ordered separately) and they were perfectly cooked on the outside with a side inside. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a bite to eat in the airport!

Great example of terrible service. Do not greet or acknowledge customers even after 20+ minutes. Waited 20+ minutes for a coffee. Didn't clean the table of empty dishes even when new customer sit there.

Definitely would not recommend this place if you are planning to eat food there! The food is prepared in very poor hygienic conditions: 1) The Cook open the Toast pack with his teeth (to prepare our chicken sandwich which we ordered) 2) Fried French fries fell down on the floor from the frying machine, and the cook picked them up from the floor and put them in the bowl 3) He was looking if somebody would notice him, and even though I straight aways stood up to cancel our order, he wanted to convince me opposite. I was totally shocked with his approach 4) His kitchen cloth was so dirty - looked like he uses it the same time for cleaning the floor and his hands 5) He was wearing the gloves all the time, and touching all possible surfaces with them and even he tightened his sneakers during the food preparation with his gloves and continued to work 6) The food is prepared in such a poor condition so please be aware & careful Thanks God I was sitting and was able to notice what was going on! Terrible, indeed.

It's 2025 and this Cafe does not have a single vegan milk alternative. Not much "choice" in this taste there now is there?

Considering that the airport is not expensive

Sent away from a chair on an empty terrace, because I am still waiting for someone who has to arrive. Indicating that everything takes longer, because a suitcase is delayed for more than an hour, was not their problem, it is sitting, ordering and consuming immediately.

Delicious food, very friendly staff! However, the prices are way out of proportion, it's because the best man was so friendly otherwise I would have run away screaming. The customers after me even canceled the order when they saw the debit card amount. Maybe something to think about? Crossroads?!

Can’t seem to order a drink without using their QR code system , took me 5min to upload all the card details , I’d be surprised if older generation would be able to order anything … it ruins the experience of going to get a drink somewhere , removing interactions with staff and people overall , feels quite sad IMO

I was looking for work background incl. lunch and I was not wrong. A friendly butler, a table with a drawer, a cold beer and a well-seasoned burger and nachos, what more could you ask for to pass the time! :) Thank you, I will definitely stop by again sometime...

The main bar man is very efficient and friendly himself serving customers at the tables with gentle smile😊, pleasant looking at it, to sit back and wait for friend of mine arriving. Please continue, Thank you.

As everywhere else in Schiphol descends into a race to the absolute bottom of service and friendliness, the staff at Crossroads were friendly and welcoming. I hope they keep it up, at least one place in the airport needs nice staff.

Although I went in with the (really) low expectations you should have at this type of airport establishment they managed to “force” me to write a review. This place is a scam. Not that the staff can help it, they were uninterested and slow but for the rest decent in the execution of their roles. The person setting the prices/deciding the portions should however seriously reconsider if what they decided is not actually bordering on criminal. The banana-nut cake slice served was ridiculously small for the EUR 4,50 they dared to charge for it. To be fair, it looked like it was the last slice they got out of the cake but even Starbucks does not dare to charge that for double the portion! Overall this place delivers what you may expect from it but do not order the banana-nut cake, the Starbucks 80 meters further has much better value for money…

Great restaurant where you can have something to eat before going through customs. Taking orders was a bit slow, but once done the food arrived quickly. The cheese sticks are very expensive at €25 for 15 small sticks. The rest is affordable.

Waiting for a flight schedule? You can stop by this cafe to drink beer or order coffee or snacks

Located at a convenient point at arrivals two. Can have a drink while waiting. Have a fast service.

If you're at AMS airport and at a moment of indecision... At a fork in the road or crossroad if you will... Then look for no further and bring yourself in to Crossroads Bar & Restaurant inside the airport. Delicious breakfast and sandwiches. And beer!

The Luxury baguette grilled chicken sausage sandwich was very tasty and filling. Good service was delivered.

Service takes a long time as the restaurant is located in an airport where people feel a certain urgency. But nothing that hiring more employees can't solve.

They just forgot to make a sandwich for me. And no sorry .

Beer price is not good value. Considering it's an airport, it's not that bad.

It wasn't busy, staff were bored behind the bar. After asking for 20 minutes how long it would take before we would get our sandwiches, they forgot the entire order. Drinks paid for, unfortunately an apology was too difficult. So not recommended as far as I'm concerned.

Cozy place to wait for travelers, high and low tables and good snacks.

Music a little too loud, also ordered a hero cassis but got a fanta cassis, not a big difference but its the idea. Since hero was on their menu card, however great place, fast service and everything

Perfect vantage point if you need to pick someone up. Very nice service.

The best airport cafeteria I have ever found. A good breakfast, not plastic and at the same price as a cafeteria in the city (which are expensive but at the same price). And if that were not enough, good service from the waitress!! What has never been seen at the airport.

Convenient location to sit down & get a meal as it's just outside the international arrival gates. Several tables to sit & eat.

For the reception of a group of world travelers it was a good opportunity to have a cup of tea and cappucino. The service was good and friendly

Go to MacDonald and you will have Better and more real service and food. Super expensive for what they offer and the guys here are incredibly rude

5 euro for an cappuccino with no barrista milk. Just a machine coffee. Is way too Much. There are 3 Starbucks on the airport my advice to go there. For 5 euro you get a dubbele size coffee!

Great burgers !!! Was so surprised by the quality of them. In my opinion reasonable prices for airport!

Small and cozy restaurant, right next to Gate 2 exit at the largest airport of the Netherlands. Very great choice in music (90's pop, not too loud). The service is good and friendly. Trusty with people, you can pay afterwards. Free Wifi is available, making waiting for your arrivals more pleasant.

Mediocre food (chicken satay), fast service and great location

I had the WORST experience ever at this place. All I wanted was an espresso to go, and the guy helping me was so mean. So mean, in fact, I actually left in tears. And the coffee wasn’t even good. Steer clear.

It can be quite busy at Crossroads Schiphol.

Very long waiting time with normal volume. Total mess. Food comes in any number of different ways for the same order.

Efficient and pleasant staff. The quality is top notch. I tried sandwiches, avocado salad, Innocent brand fruit juice. And their hot chocolate with a little nougat is delicious. See photos to get an idea of ​​quantity.

Missed flight, waiting for the next flight and hungry! So I looked for a restaurant and found it. It was definitely very tasty, but not necessarily cheap either. Hence a star deduction! But if the price doesn't bother you, you can eat great here. The hamburger was delicious!!!

Fast and friendly service. The sateh was not bad but the fries that came with it felt like rubber. Overall a bit too pricey for the quality you get.

We visited this restaurant just to have a quick bite.., Very much surprised by the quality of the food.! I mean the food was delicious... 1. Sandwich was just for 5E!!!! Nice and juicy with right amount of cheese! 2. We also ordered for Avocado salad.. lipsmacking.... Lots of nuts, lots of pomegranate, lots of avocado piece.. 3. Coffee was top notch... A highly recommend restaurant in Schipol airport!

Not too busy around lunchtime on a Wednesday, friendly staff and tasty coffee and sandwiches. Not necessarily very special, but fine. Prices are as expected at Schiphol.

This afternoon I was here for a job interview. The cappuccino was tasty. Now I hope I get accepted.

Fui allí hoy y creo que nunca antes había tenido un servicio tan malo. He pedido un bocadillo y un vaso de agua y el camarero vuelve con mi comida y una botellita de agua (ya abierta). Le dije que solo quería un vaso y después de que él lo dejó todo y ya comenzaba a caminar de regreso dijo y cito aquí “lo siento, el agua del grifo está muy mal aquí” sin dejarme la oportunidad de discutir. Entonces, escuche si su restaurante tiene una policía sin agua del grifo, está completamente bien, pero al menos avíseme antes de traer una botella abierta que no puedo devolver y que de hecho no quise ni pedí. El caso es que he vivido en Ámsterdam durante los últimos 5 años y sé que el agua del grifo en los Países Bajos es una de las mejores, así que no solo me brindó un mal servicio, sino que también me llamó estúpido. Al final, hazte un favor y lleva tu dinero a otra parte. Albert Heijn ofrecería una mejor opción a un mejor precio y eso es un supermercado.

Kitchen closed at 6:45am and its a 24hr café. One person working in the shop and she is a waiter trying to make coffees. Worst coffee ever and expensive as well. Suggest the cafe shop get more staff. Really bad experience

Bad service, we didn't get what we ordered because the staff doesn't speak Dutch.
