Ristorante Mamma Mia in Nieuw-Vennep

We had to go there because there was nowhere else near the hotel. The staff were good and attentive, and although the pizza arrived a little late, it was worth it; it was very, very delicious (a spicy chicken dish, I forgot the name 🙈). I definitely recommend it...

If you come here to pick something up, you really always have to wait way too long for your order, even if you call and explicitly explain that you are in a rush. “Sir, it will be ready in 20 minutes,” arrive after 25 minutes, and you still stand there waiting 10 minutes for it to be ready... this could be better!!

First experience was immediately good. The portion of frutti di mare was very large and well-filled (lots of shrimp etc.)

Ordered pasta online, and it was delicious. The quantity was really good and loved the taste

I placed an order at 10:00 AM and it wasn't delivered until 12:30 AM, even though the agreement was that it would be delivered within 25-45 minutes. I contacted them twice, but unfortunately, we waited in vain. By then, the food was completely soggy and the tiramisu was melted and warm. The employee was supposed to call me the next day to discuss this, but unfortunately, I never received that call. Apologies, I am generally not someone who writes reviews, but I have never experienced anything like this before. Moreover, you stopped answering the phone when I tried to call about this. It is not about the money for me, but more about loyalty towards your customers. It is incorrect to state on Thuisbezorgd that you came by at 10:51 AM. You are outright lying. Never again Mamma Mia for me.

Good food, ok service, normal prices

Nice Italian restaurant, a bit old-fashioned with the cement-splattered walls complete with stalactites. The menu isn't entirely clear regarding Friday Pizza Day. That is the day the pizzas are cheaper, but apparently not if you come to eat them in the restaurant. Despite that, it was still reasonably priced, and I must say we had a delicious pizza.

Today, against my better judgment, I gave ordering here another try. After 2 hours and a few phone calls later, the food arrived. The delivery person told me what I thought of it and that the fries were cold. Then, 6 minutes later, I was called by the most IDIOTIC woman ever, not with an apology, but with threats that she was going to track me down at my home address, that I should die, etc., etc. I have decided for myself never to order here again; I advise everyone not to do so either. Before you know it, you have a group of IDIOTS standing at your door or you get threatened. Man, oh man, what a company. MAMA MIA, I would almost say.

Worst pizza ever..... I ordered online and received a pizza full of oil and no taste and the delivery person was very vague.

I ordered delivery from here for the first time and was disappointed. The pizza carbonara was very salty. And while the quattro formaggi was supposed to be an ode to the cheese, it wasn't. For the first time in my life, I had a quattro formaggi with black olives, large chunks of tomato, and (I suspect) pesto, but it wasn't a success. Delivery took 1 hour and 20 minutes.

I ordered tagliatelle with gorgonzola sauce and a Turkish pizza with lettuce and sauce. The tagliatelle was green. Some kind of vegan crap or something. I called and the employee insisted I taste it first. I still couldn't eat it. The Turkish pizza was cold. No sauce, and the tomato in the pizza seemed from the previous day instead of fresh. Why are you selling food if you're nothing but worthless? Shame on you. I want my money back!

Ordered food, including a sirloin steak. After an hour and a half, the order arrived with a piece of meat that was completely overcooked and inedible. I returned it and was told that if I wanted the steak undercooked, I should have mentioned this in the comments. What a chef... Then a new piece of meat was brought. This one was indeed undercooked, but it looked quite unappetizing and had a thick tendon in the middle of it. I don't think that's typical for a good piece of sirloin. Poor quality and definitely not recommended.

We have been regular customers for more than 8 years, the service is friendly and the food is good. Our favorite dishes are the lasagna and the pizza pollo! I always order lasagna when I eat at Italian restaurants, but nothing beats Mamma Mia's. They really have the best lasagna. The proportions between the pasta sheets, meat sauce, bechamel sauce and cheese are just perfect. Also the tomato sauce isn't sour at all, it's very nicely seasoned. They are generous with their pizza toppings en the pizza dough is light and crispy. Definitely our favorite place to eat Italian!

Overall, we're very satisfied with Mama Mia and order from them regularly. We just ordered two lasagnas (December 6, 2025), and they're always a surprise, sometimes great (which is why we keep trying), but usually inedible. Tonight, absolutely inedible (I wonder if they even taste it). When you open the containers, you smell a lot of garlic, and that's the only thing you can taste. Too bad, they went straight in the trash. No more lasagna for us.

I really don't know where all the bad reviews come from. I've ordered takeout a few times and recently dined in, and what a fantastic place. Fresh produce, pizza unlike any other, and the pasta perfectly prepared. I recommend everyone in the area to try their pizza and pasta here. We're fans!

We had a truly excellent meal at Mamma Mia! The pizzas were fantastic. The service was friendly, and the food and drinks were reasonably priced. We'll definitely be back! Alright, one more tip: that uniquely plastered ceiling is starting to look a bit stale. But that didn't spoil our enjoyment.

Had food poisoning from pita shawarma

Pizza of pasta of salade dan is het altijd mama mia. Want mama mia wat lekker. Goede pizza's niet te zout en geweldige pasta's en salades. Mijn kinderen eten altijd alles op.

They have lovely pizzas and pastas. Delivery takes quite a while, but overall we never had bad food which is a positive!

Besteld om te laten bezorgen. Na anderhalf uur nog niks. Gebeld maar dit nummer was buiten gebruik. Er heen gereden gewoon open. Excuus was het is er druk telefoon heeft geen tijd om opteladen¿ Waarom laat ik mij gegeven achter bij bestellen mailadres en telefoonnummer. Even bellen dat het laterkom had wel gewenst geweest. Maar niemand heeft daar waarschijnlijk een telefoon.

We really like the pizzas and the calzone. We always order home so we dont have experience on eating at the place. Delivery is fast and friendly.

Good food, nice atmosphere and friendly service

Ik had thuis laten bezorgen. Fungi trifoleti waren smakeloze champignons die verzopen in een even smakeloze saus. Misto del Helmy eveneens volstrekt smakeloos, pasta bijna tot moes gaar gekookt. Alles weer in overvloedige saus waarin de 3 diverse pastas in elkaar doorliepen. 2 keer gebeld met de heer Alberto die mij bij de 2e keer ging toezeggen dat het overgebleven gerecht gisteren opgehaald zou worden zodat zij het zelf konden beoordelen. Niemand is geweest dus vandaag maar bijna € 28 de vuilnisbak in gegooid.

Slechte, trage bediening. Zelf naar binnen gelopen na 20 min wachten of we iets konden bestellen. Dat ging traag. Pizza prosciuto do parma was met plakjes gewone ham. Inmiddels zo lang gewacht, toch maar opgegeten maar dit is niet wat besteld was. Omgeinteresseerde bediening. Borden worden weggehaald zonder iets te zeggen. Pizza was erg zout. Tegenvallende ervaring, ben beter gewend. Jammer.

Beste pizza’s en geweldige service. Wij hadden het laten bezorgen en ze zijn zelfs eerder klaar dan verwacht. En de pizza’s zijn ongelofelijk goed.

Personally, I think this is the tastiest pizza in the Netherlands. I have already enjoyed many of them. The tasty fresh rolls with herb butter are also delicious. Always friendly staff and the delivery person is always fast and friendly. And always with their well-known slice of tomato in the middle of the pizza 🤪 Only positive things can be found, certainly worth 5 stars.

Bad thing! Called for information about a PIZZA. They sent a SALAD and they did NOT want to cooperate to fix it. Asked if they wanted to take back the incorrect product and give my (declared) order. Received the answer: 'case is closed, I'm done for today, sorry and bye' Very bad and can barely speak Dutch

Ordered 2x hair salon online tonight for quick collection. Upon arrival, the order was not yet in progress. Staff was not informed, but the order was still in their computer. The order was ready within 5 minutes!? Staff walked back for 1 minute and came back with fries! Where that papat suddenly came from was a mystery to me, I didn't trust it but I didn't get a clear answer either. In any case, it was not freshly baked and turned out to be old, tough and unpalatable! The pre-fried shawarma came from an unrefrigerated container behind the counter. Disappointing experience and a shame that they do not see the quality of the process and product as their first priority.

Delivery very poor, the gentleman simply forgets to continue talking while calling and after more than 2 hours of waiting, our order has still not arrived. The gentleman also gives incorrect times when we call 3X. Call to never order here again.

The seafood risotto was fantastic! Also enjoyed the chefs soup. -

We ordered 1 pizza and a steak here, which were delivered exactly at the agreed time. That pizza was really traditional and super tasty. The steak from the grill is of an even higher quality and I will definitely eat a steak from the grill again. The accompanying fries were also really delicious, well done. All in all highly recommended!!!

I have known this restaurant in Nieuw-Vennep for many years, both ate in the cozy restaurant and had it delivered. I experience the quality as excellent, the staff is nice and helpful. Definitely a place to come back. There are plenty of free parking spaces in the area.

Delicious food and super friendly service

Have ordered a pizza several times. Reason the quality of the Pizza is much better than that of New York Pizza or DFomino's. However, it may take up to 1.5 HOURS before it is delivered. They always say that it is busy, but in reality they only make the pizza AFTER you have called and asked when the pizza will be available. Then the reaction of the boy on the phone. This is downright scandalous. He lies and casually says if 45 minutes is too long for you then you will order a pizza somewhere else. That just can not be. Mamma Mia needs to do something about delivery times and crowds during meal times.

Ik had gisteren heerlijk gegeten, maar bij het afrekenen weigerde mijn pinpasje dienst. Ook had ik geen contant geld bij me, maar daar werd totaal niet moeilijk over gedaan. 'Komt de volgende keer wel' werd er gezegd. Vandaag ben ik alsnog langs geweest om te betalen. Fijn voor dat stukje vertrouwen! Jullie zijn toppers!

Delicious food and fast and friendly delivery nowadays. A few years ago it was less. Spare ribs are now a must. Saw bad reviews about it but maybe they have a new chef or a new recipe. Falling off the bone.

Net weer besteld en zoals altijd super kwaliteit eten! Bezorger was ook heel vriendelijk! Zeker een aanrader om hier te bestellen

Via thuisbezorg besteld en alles was over de top goed het was net alsof een sterre restaurant bij je bezorgt ookal hade we niet meest classy dingen besteld. de varkenskapsalon was de grootste die ik ooit heb gekregene en smaak en verhouding was heel goed. De spaghetti alla siciliana was heerlijk kwa smaak en lekker veel. de insalata di tonno was picture perfect inelkaar gezet kwa hoe het eruitzag tot smaak en niet lullig doen met het tonijn maar gewoon lekker veel dus een echte maaltijd. de pepperochino was een bomvol smaak en zag er erg mooi en classy eruit. als desert hadden wij de tiramisu en tarufo en het is echt dat ik hier geen photo kan uploade maar het was allebij echt een plaatje, van het munt tot de aarbijen en het zag er prachtig uit en smaakte hoe het eruit zag perfectie. nog nooit zoon maaltijd gehad bij thuis bezorg ben gelijk fan geworden en dit alles voor dik 25 euro minder dan dat we normaal halen. 100% voor herhaaling vatbaar

We bestelden allebei pizza Romana, geen vlees voor ons. De pizza was gewoonweg heerlijk! Heet opgediend, verse ingrediënten. Niet té zout. Vriendelijke bediening!

1 uur gewacht op eten. Krijg koude lams shoarma, dit terug laten nemen en varkens shoarma besteld. Helaas was dit smakeloos. We komen hier nooit meer. Slecht slecht

Heerlijk eten. Mijn ouders bestellen altijd bij mamma mia. Gezin van 5. Ik neem altijd een pasta en vind die super lekker van Mamma Mia! Heb ook wel eens een pizza gegeten of Turkse pizza’s en die zijn ook lekker. Mijn vader vind de mixed grill altijd top en mijn moeder wisselt af van vleesgerechten naar visgerechten of pasta en vindt vooral de tonijn lekker. Broers eten altijd calzone of pasta. Zeker een aanrader! Snelle lever tijd ook altijd bij ons. (Niet gesponsord deze review, is gewoon oprecht lekker). Bestellen al bijna twee jaar hier nu.

De calzone pizza's zijn werkelijk heeeerlijk! Bezorging keurig op tijd en uiterst vriendelijke bezorger!

Had bezorgd via Thuisbezorgd, werd gezegd dat de bestelling tussen 40-65 minuten zou komen, maar was er al na een half uurtje. Ik had een pizza mozzarella met salami en het was enorm lekker. Zeker een aanrader!

Bijna anderhalfuur op onze bestelling gewacht om vervolgens een kapsalon aan te treffen die in het vet zwemt.. De patat was oranje van het vet en je zag het onderin liggen. We hebben gelijk gebeld en er zou direct een nieuwe aan komen, inmiddels weer drie kwartier verder en maar afgebeld, want om kwart over 8 hoeven we geen avondeten meer als we om 6 hebben besteld. Wat een service…

Wir sind nach unserem Rückflug aus dem Urlaub im benachbarten Hotel untergekommen und wollten eigentlich „nur“ schnell was essen - und wurden positiv überrascht; große und leckere Pizzen, dazu ein sehr freundlicher Chef. Wenn wir das nächste mal wieder vor Ort sind, werden wir definitiv wieder hier essen!

Voor de eerste keer hier geweest. Wat ziet het restaurant er leuk en fris uit. De man die ons bediende was super vriendelijk en aardig. We hadden beide pizza en die was zooo lekker! Nog even gekletst met de man die ons bedienden voordat we betaalden en gingen. Een fijne ervaring waardoor we zeker terug gaan eten als we in de buurt zijn.

We hebben daar met een hele grote groep heerlijk gegeten de bediening was top dit restaurant beveel ik echt aan iedereen aan echt gezellig en heerlijk eten.

hele lekkere pizza, daar kan ik zeker niet over klagen. toch hebben wij heel lang gewacht voor maar 1 pizza…. minimaal een uur. wij hadden bij de pizza 3 sausjes besteld en wij hebben er maar 1 gekregen. toen hadden wij er over gebeld en deden ze vrij arrogant en heel geiriteerd, jammer, want ik ben altijd tevreden met het eten.

Bonnes pizzas, personnel très sympathique

Al 10 jaar mijn vaste stek 1 a 2 maal per week, prima eten , goede bediening, aardige mensen.

We hebben hier na de groep 8 musical van mijn zus haar oudste dochter heerlijk gegeten met 5 personen 1 kleine kind. 2x Lasagna, 2x pizza, spaghetti en allemaal 2x frisdrank/of fristie. Lasagne was heerlijk kan het iedereen aanraden. De rekening was €91 en we hebben €5 fooi gegeven. We waren er donderdag 7 juli 2022 omstreeks 21:30. Prettige ervaring met z’n allen. Eten was geweldig!

Hier gisteren pizza's besteld en ook al betaald met de vraag het vandaag 18.00 uur te leveren Perfect op tijd en loei heet Smaak echt geweldig een regelrechte aanrader mama mia nieuw vennep

Eten is altijd goed, maar als ik bij online bestellen melding krijg dat de bezorgtijd tussen de 40 en 65 minuten is en het er na 150 ! minuten nog niet is, was dit de laatste keer dat ik daar wat bestel!
