Although everything was good – the room was clean, the staff very friendly, and the breakfast adequate – I couldn't stay longer than two days. The location is far from everything if you want to go on an excursion. But for a two-day break, it was fine.

After a long bike ride, just a quick drink and a bite to eat at Boelies. Although we have lived in Hellevoetsluis for over 25 years, we have never been there. And except for this one time, it will remain that way. Reason?? See the other reviews from various people. Nothing is exceptional or a lie. I am ashamed and REFUSE to take a seat at such a terrace/dining establishment. First, they need to renovate both the building and the staff.

The appearance looked nice at first glance. However, after we had to wait quite a long time for our two healthy sandwiches, I received them on a dirty plate. There were caked-on food residues on it, yuck!! Unfortunately, the sandwiches were not fresh; they had been reheated. My husband's sandwich had grill marks. The rolls were impossible to slice, they were so tough. Very poor service; I would certainly not recommend this place. The Food Inspection Service should really take a look inside the kitchen....

Their ice cream is delicious and we just got the free whipped cream! The girl at the counter is very cute and I liked her hairstyle!
