Wonderful pizzas plus efficient delivery service

Nice little place, tastefully decorated. The room is a bit noisy, and the acoustics could be better. It was also a bit messy because people came to pick up their food but didn't really have a waiting list available. The waitstaff had a hard time on their own, which often resulted in longer waits. I think they were surprised the place was full. The cocktails were delicious. The food was excellent.

Friendly and helpful staff! They were also very helpful on the phone. The food was delicious, exactly what you'd expect from a restaurant like this. The kitchen is open until 9 p.m.

Delicious food and plenty of it, we were allowed to take our dog (Great Dane) in with us.

Lots of fun things and too much to really see in one afternoon.

Just an update after a long time. New appetizers on the menu, still good service. I don't really understand the negative reviews. If you go during Fortress Days or King's Day, yes, it's incredibly busy. I still think you can easily spend an afternoon here. Delicious food and good service.

If you're looking for a quick and simple bite, you've come to the right place. Don't expect anything fancy, as it's simple and tasteless.

What a disappointment, and what arrogance from the owner! We regularly come here for their famous Karamelino Iced Coffee, but today it all went wrong. Our four iced coffees contained hardly any ice or coffee, only water (crushed ice). It had absolutely no flavor and was very watery. It was a very unpleasant experience. According to the staff, the iced coffee from the day before had been frozen and microwaved????!!! They also admitted that a different preparation method had been used, resulting in too much crushed ice, which led to the watery taste. When we asked for compensation at checkout, the initial response was that they hadn't done anything wrong (?) and that the owner doesn't offer compensation... After the staff called the owner, we were refunded for one of the four iced coffees, even though all four were improperly prepared and therefore had little flavor. This owner clearly doesn't care about his customers, especially not his regular, returning customers. What terrible service and of course we will never come here again!

Unfortunately, this restaurant didn't impress us. Due to the ambiance, the menu, and the rather slow service, we went to eat elsewhere after our first drink.

We had to wait a long time just for drinks, even though the place was very empty. The service wasn't exactly polite. Both the straw ends and the ice were touched with our hands. Not good hygiene! While we were waiting for our drinks, the woman behind the bar took a quick smoke break.

A lovely spot in the fortress. Delicious cocktails and excellent food, from pizza to bitterbal. And very friendly staff.

The terrace wasn't very clean. A very long wait for a fairly average pizza. Two or three years ago, it was still a good place. Today, I don't recommend it.

The place was relatively empty, but we still had to wait half an hour just for drinks :( Bad service, but the cocktails were delicious. Hygiene was lacking, the ice in the cocktail was mercilessly grabbed with bare hands. What a pity

Delicious pizzas. Lots of choice and the pizzas are not as greasy as is often the case with other pizzerias. Nice interior. Price is a bit on the high side.

Ondrinbare prosecco zonder bubbels uit een oude verlopen fles. Volgens de baas is dit normaal, want het zou een prosecco met lichte bubbels zijn (???). Te mijden zaak.

The pizzas looked good, but were lukewarm. My wife's pizza didn't taste particularly good, but mine did. My son's calamari was good, but it also looked like it was frozen. No cutlery or serving utensils were provided.

Great place, had a bite to eat for the third time this week and the food is great, but the waiting time is problematic. The toilets are literally at the level of a petrol station in France.

Delicious and reasonable prices.

In itself a great place where you can sit on the terrace when the weather is nice. If you order fries you get a whole basket full, but a snack board of 22.50 is very pricey for 3 bitterballen, 3 mini spring rolls, 3 filled risotto balls and potato slices. Menu is limited nowadays compared to before.

Super delicious pizza, perfect dough and generous toppings! Great, cozy, relaxed atmosphere. Very nice service and also cards in different languages. We were very satisfied!

Delicious food, we thought it was on the expensive side, until we got our pizzas, the chicken roll pizza was very well filled, it was a pain and a lot of effort to finish it, in short, if we are in the area, we will definitely come back!

Het enige wat goed was aan de bestelling van Stars was de snelheid van bezorgen. Het eten wat ze gebracht hebben heeft nu echt een dieptepunt bereikt.(we hebben van elkaar geproeft en alles was niet te narsen). Daarnaast beknibbelen ze nog steeds op het formaat van de bakjes van de saus zijn een heel stuk kleiner geworden en niet al 28 jaar hetzelfde! De shoarmabol smaakte niet goed en de ribfingers zijn ronduit slecht!! Er moet echt gekeken worden wat er in de keuken gedaan wordt. Voorlopig de laatste keer.

The only thing good about Stars' order was the speed of delivery. The food they brought has now really reached a low point, and I have been a customer since day 1 (we tasted each other and everything was unbelievable). In addition, they still skimp on the size of the sauce containers, which have become a lot smaller and have not been the same for 28 years! The shawarma bun didn't taste good and the rib fingers were downright bad!! We really need to look at what is being done in the kitchen. The last time for now.

Came with a group of friends on Sunday afternoon March 9 to have dinner at Stars. We had chosen a place inside, but we were asked to choose a table outside, which we did not feel like doing given the temperature. When I asked why we couldn't take a table inside, the waitress said "then we'll lose the overview". Ridiculous, inhospitable behavior against someone who has been a customer for over 25 years.

Just had a few drinks and a cage of fries (I’ve ate too much today) but the fries were excellent and in abundance, the beer was good but the service was top notch with the really friendly staff in full attendance! Happy saint Patrick’s day

Waited a very long time for bad food. The shop was completely empty and the shops around it were full. I now know why.

As far as we're concerned, the perfect pizza. Thin, crispy base and richly toppings. Extremely friendly staff

Cozy terrace in the fortress of Hellevoetsluis

I had pizza here with my family today and it was great, the pizzas were super fresh and delicious and everything was hot. The location is very cozy and inviting. There is warm light, I would recommend everyone to eat here at least once in their life.

We were unexpectedly in Hellevoetsluis and it was the weekend of the fortress days. We were lucky, it was a pleasant crowd and the weather also cooperated. There were a lot of stalls and the harbor was also full of yachts. Very nice to see. Then we sat down on a terrace at Stars and had Marzel that one place was. Enjoy a delicious glass of wine with an appetizer and people watch. We enjoyed a wonderful day and will definitely do it again next year.

Good vibe and style, nice staff, tasty food!

Today, during the Vestingdagen, I tried to order a cup of coffee. There was plenty of room inside to sit at the neat boxes. Placed the order directly at the bar...... We were not allowed to order inside and had to sit on the terrace. Okay, no sooner said than done. Half an hour later still no coffee on the terrace. It could have been so easy, but they wanted to make it difficult with a dissatisfied customer at the end. A bit of a shame, let's just say, I think it's just going too well in the catering industry

Sit comfortably by the water on a terrace in the sun or under a parasol. Service is generally smooth.

Nice place to have something to eat or drink, both outside and inside. A disadvantage for those who have difficulty walking is that you have to climb the stairs for the toilet. The area is beautiful and you can see beautiful ships and boats.

Surprisingly nice atmosphere, especially upstairs. We thought it would be more like a Pizzaria Togo, but the food, the cocktails and especially the service were great!😊

Service was a nice guy, but the food 🫢 from the freezer, dry and way too expensive, for me the last time I was there. The manager came out on high legs after we complained about the quality of the food. Unfortunately, no compensation was given after the completely full plates went back into the kitchen. What a mockery! Me with my son and my buddy with his 2 daughters sit on the terrace around 1230. They order some sandwiches and drinks and I order 1 fries and a chicken sandwich for my son and me. It was quiet and not busy at all. After about half an hour (the children were already very impatient because it took so long) my buddy got his order, but my fries and sandwich had not yet arrived. They had already finished their food and I asked the waitress if they had forgotten us. Then still waiting. I wanted to pack my things around 1:15 PM, so after 45 minutes and just pay for the drinks, but my buddy still wanted to wait a little longer. I walked in around 1:30 PM, so after an hour I indicated that my food was now almost no longer lunch, but would now be dinner. Then after about 5 minutes my grilled cheese and fries finally arrived!!!! We had to wait more than 1 hour for a chicken sandwich and fries!!!!! Did the chicken still have to be slaughtered? Did the potatoes still need to be harvested? Did something go wrong? Say it then!!!!! We were not offered once if we wanted something to drink while waiting or whatever. VERY BAD! I gave up my almost 20 euros to this shop with pain in my heart, I would have preferred to leave without paying, it is that bad! What a mockery! My buddy's beer glass also has all kinds of bites coming out of the collar so he could have opened his lips. He indicates this and is responded to laconically. Never going to this store again! Waste of money. One star for the taste of the food, for the rest MIN17 stars! Edit: there was enough staff, because there were hardly any guests at the time. In addition, if you make a mistake and someone has to wait an hour for fries and a sandwich, you offer something to drink for the wait. That is service and it is so neat.... Had food at stars for the first time, I chose to call and then pick up. We received this tip from a colleague. We chose the shawarma bun and picked it up on the spot. What immediately struck me was the interior, how nice it looks! The shawarma roll was very large and well prepared. Lots of shawarma inside and this was also very tasty. The price is a bit on the high side if I'm honest.

Very expensive but nice for once

Very bad thing!! It's a shame that a star has to be given because this conniving manager doesn't even deserve that. A raw pizza is delivered and after contact with a (sweet!) employee, a consultation is held with her manager. The pizza has been eaten (1 small piece to taste) so the pizza will not be taken back. We can pick up the pizza, but they say you will not get a new one/no money back. After a lot of discussion, it is said with incredible effort that we can get the money back instead of a new pizza. Huh?! In consultation with the sweet employee, we immediately order a pizza with that money. The pizza is delivered, after which the manager personally calls bloodlink to say that payment has not been made and that this must be done immediately. I didn't get a chance to talk at all, he was incredibly angry and rude. This guy really makes me want to puke. Not an ounce of respect for it!!! You supply raw food, so just take responsibility and don't be so weak. Treating customers like this is anything but acceptable!

Always good food. Orders arrive on time and often at the right temperature. When it's busy it sometimes takes a little longer, but you know that if you order on busy days.

The bar has a nice outdoor area and the Thomas Henry drink was delicious. Afterwards we saw that the menu/drinks menu was available in different languages, but unfortunately our waitress didn't tell us that. Unfortunately we waited 55 minutes for a tiny salad with spoiled leaves and a few soggy squid rings. We asked after 40 minutes and apparently that was normal as it was busy. It was ok to sit outside and have a drink, but never again to eat!

Cozy bar right at the swing bridge. Very friendly service and very good prices. Ideal for a snack and a drink during the bike ride... 😉

I never enjoyd such a poor service bevor.The food was good and so was the ambience but the waitress with the red hair was unfriendly and you could tell she didn't want to do her job.

Het ijs is erg lekker. Helaas was de keuze een halfuur voor sluiting heel beperkt, omdat de meeste smaken al waren opgeruimd. Afgezien van dat is het verder wel een leuke tent.

Een maand geleden hebben we hier gegeten. Éen van de pizza's moest wel glutenvrij zijn. En dat kunnen ze hier!! Het was de lekkerste glutenvrije bodem die ik ooit gegeten heb!! Zo wordt het leuker om een keer een 170 kilometer van huis te rijden voor een dagje uit als je daarna een heerlijke pizza krijgt voorgeschoteld. Geen kartonnige bodem die eruit ziet als een ongeschilderde plank. Wel een mooie krokante gebakken bodem zoals een normale pizza eruit ziet. Het verschil is bijna niet te zien. En het beleg was royaal en super lekker. Ook de jongedame achter de bar was een plezier om mee te praten. Wat een aardige dame! En de pizzeria zelf ziet eruit als een plaatje! Hartstikke bij de tijd gestyled. Wij komen zeker nog eens terug!

Lang wachten op bediening. Ice koffie was in verhouding prijs weinig en niet bijzonder. Mascarpone toetje bleken geen aardbeien te zijn waarvoor ik ananas uit blik kreeg.

Zo de zon schijnt, lekker weer!! Even een ijsje halen bij Stars op de Oostzanddijk in Hellevoetsluis. Twee bolletjes ijs 3 euro 90…..!! Tip vervang de te grote bak voor een kleinere bak dan lijkt het nog wat…Tip,,,, fiets vijf minuten verder en geniet van de grote bollen ijs van de ijswinkel ( Rijksstraatweg)

Soviel vorweg: das Eis ist wirklich lecker, hierfür auch die zwei Sterne Was aber gar nicht gut ist: Wenn man nur Eis essen möchte darf man dieses nur auf den Bänken unter den Bäumen tun. Diese sind leider voll mit Vogeldreck Wir mussten dann leider mit einem 1,5 jährigen und 4 jährigen völlig unentspannt an der Straße einen Platz suchen.
