Danny's Garden in Andijk

The restaurant could use a bit more ambiance and more customer-focused staff. But the food is always good and plentiful. It's a shame, though, that the dessert menu consists of ice cream, ice cream, or gelato. A bit more variety would be nice.

It's clear that this restaurant is located in a predominantly white village. No herbs or spices are used, making the food very bland. Even the sambal tastes sweet. The pork wasn't properly roasted or cooked, so some pieces were raw inside.

The food here is delicious! The beer-battered beans are especially delicious!

Disgusting chips were like hard and small bits the pancake roll was stuck to paper and throne into bag the hole meal for all was rubbish the burger was cold and grandson was up all night ill not good

I always come here for a round of fried green beans. I haven't found them at any other Chinese restaurant yet.

Het eten is best lekker, alleen vind ik de nasi meer gewoon rijst. Er zit zo weinig in, een paar stukjes ham en hier een daar een kruimeltje prei. Dat vind ik behoorlijk tegenvallen. Dan kun je net zo goed alleen witte rijst bestellen, dan kun je die paar stukjes ham er zelf wel bij doen. Vroeger was het echt nasi....

The main course was delicious and I always look forward to the dessert. Major disappointment, a Dame Blanche without chocolate sauce is a mockery... even an offered chocolate instead of the sauce on the ice cream was not quite... in other words, not at all.

Delicious food for takeaway... The fried green beans are highly recommended... I wouldn't mind eating on location, I find it lacking in atmosphere. Regarding the service: we called and were told a time when it would be ready. Upon arrival at the agreed time, we were able to pay and then wait another 20 minutes before it was ready. Shame...

Got food yesterday. Was there a wire sample in the spring roll? Today's leftover foe yong hai was full of egg shells, see photo. Too bad, we won't be coming here anymore for a while.

The white rice is of poor quality while it should be basmati rice but it is not, you have to be very cheap rice, the meat is too peppery and the sauce is poor in consistency

Ordered very last minute for a large group yesterday at the end of the afternoon. Wasn't a problem, order was processed perfectly and dietary requirements were taken into account. Truly a top achievement, Andijk has a Chinese Indian restaurant to be proud of!

Bami Nasi for 2 people good food not too much wok oil in it satay good taste chicken tender quick service even though it is often busy around dinner time

I regularly get a monthly menu here, the food is always very tasty and has a lot of flavor. I can't say anything about eating inside the restaurant because I never do that. Only take away food. They also have sushi for those who like that.

Tastiest Chinese in West Friesland

Ordered more than 45 minutes in advance. Pay first when picking up. After waiting fifteen minutes I asked where my food was. Wasn't ready yet. Finally received my food 25 minutes after the agreed time. No apologies for the long wait, I still had to pay for the beer I ordered while waiting! The Chinese servant walked around very grumpy. When we got home, half of the dishes were lukewarm and no longer fresh. But it tasted fine. They won't see me there again. From now on I will pick up my Chinese at Ho Wah in the regional court in Bovenkarspel! The food there is very tasty and delivered on time. Too bad Danny

Got the monthly menu on Thursday evening. Had to wait more than an hour. Bami turned out to be sold out after half an hour, so my order changed. When I got home hungry, half of my order turned out not to be there. No mini spring rolls and no triangles, but the matching sauce. In short, the last time I visit Danny's garden. I have to admit that what was delivered was good.

Wij hebben voor € 130,00 eten besteld en niet in het restaurant gegeten. Kregen wij bij de bestelling de vraag of er Kroepoek bij moest. Ach voor €3,80 verwacht je iets bijzonders, we kregen echter een plastic zakje met de bekende twee stukken kroepoek, die je bij elk chinees restaurant gratis bij het eten krijgt. Jammer, het eten was lekker, maar deze Kroepoek (smakeloos) voor die prijs kan echt niet. U bent gewaarschuwd!

We read the reviews and decided to eat here. Went by bike and wanted to stop there, the shop was closed without any indication as to why this was the case. The Internet says "is open, closes at 9 p.m." So maybe it's better to call ahead to be on the safe side.

Not a cozy accommodation at all. Ate there on Easter Monday Absolutely nothing on the table in terms of candles or flowers 🐣 It was extremely COLD, no heating on 🥶 It's because the food was pretty good. But you never saw me again :( Final grade 3

There was nothing wrong with the food, it was good. but what a very unpleasant restaurant. Service (young girls and friendly) just walked away while ordering drinks (happened a few times). We had made a reservation for 10 people, but the table still had to be set up. We won't come here often, but maybe if we're in the area we'll pick up a takeaway because the food was okay.

I don't often get Chinese, but when I feel like it I prefer to go to Danny's Garden in Andijk. It's a bit of a drive but it's worth it

We were disappointed, there is little or no atmosphere. Not a second time for us. It was warm inside, the service was messy (but she did her best) and the menu and food were very unclear.

When you finally get your food, it tastes good. People who come to pick up without an order walk out of the tent with food after a short time, while you can wait in the restaurant for an hour and a half until nothing is served. When food is put on the table, the plates are still waiting and we are told that we should eat quickly because it is busy. (collection always takes precedence) A similar experience a few years ago, unfortunately nothing has changed.

Picked up the monthly menu for 2 people yesterday. In one word: delicious! Nicely varied, fresh, good taste. Competitively priced. And so much that we can eat it for 2 days (we're not big eaters!)

The food wasn't tasty at all and had nothing to do with Chinese.

Decor and ambience simple but not bad. Ordering was difficult because no German or English was spoken/understood, hence irritations and incorrect quantities of starters and incorrect sauces. Then an absolute no go! The waitress started clearing the dishes even though one of us was still eating. This was then stopped after the second round and there was an apology from the more experienced service staff, but only after they had heard that we were dissatisfied with this behavior. Now the positive, the food we had was very good and plentiful at a reasonable price.

We hebben afgehaald, 2 x Danny’s menu, en op de camping opgegeten. Voor 2 personen veel te veel en dan is €18 p.p. weer goedkoop. Het hadden 4 sterren geworden als de gerechten niet dreven in de saus. De boontjes waren lekker, vleesgerechten niet verrassend en de vOorgerechten een beetje droog

We have eaten there in the past with 6 people to our complete satisfaction. Now asked if they had room for a group of 12 people but not spread over different tables. They showed how they would put the tables together, which was great, so we booked straight away.

At first glance, Danny's Garden looks more like a better snack bar from the outside. The impression is deceptive; Anyone who enters the restaurant will find cozy and attractive rooms. The service is friendly and attentive. Surprisingly, you can even communicate with one of the Asian employees in German. The food was, typical of Asian cuisine, prepared very quickly and tasty. Despite slightly higher prices than in Germany, I would still describe the price/performance ratio as ok. A really big plus: No annoying background music, as is usual in German Chinese restaurants.
