De Bedafse Pier / Restaurant - Lunch en Borrel in Wijk 01 Uden

We recently organized our New Year's drinks at the Bedafse Pier and it was, in a word, fantastic! The atmosphere outside exuded winter coziness: atmospheric fire pits, the smell of freshly baked oliebollen, and warm mulled wine immediately created a festive feeling. Inside, this feeling transitioned seamlessly into a cozy and hospitable ambiance. The food was delicious and of high quality; everyone enjoyed it. The service was not only friendly, but also fast and attentive, so we lacked nothing. In short, a perfect location to organize an event. We look back on a very successful evening and definitely recommend this location to anyone looking for an attractive, well-kept place!

Nice restaurant, a nice place for a casual, cozy dinner. The glasses could have been polished, but that's looking for lesser things. We were very satisfied. Tip: I ate surprisingly tasty duck. Highly recommended.

Had dinner with friends today. My wife ordered the prawns. Unfortunately, they were too spicy for her. The prawns were taken without any problem and she was allowed to order another dish. Great service. Great class.

Excellent food, cozy atmosphere

I come there regularly and enjoy it. The forests are wonderful for people and animals. Always a cup of coffee or a mug of soup after a nice walk. The mushroom soup was really delicious but also nice and spicy. But they have a lot of tasty things. You can also throw a great party here. Top location. Greetings Corry

What a beautiful location. We celebrated our wedding at the Bedafse Pier. Both the ceremony and the dinner with 40 guests and then the party. The Pier has several areas where this is possible. They have thought carefully about the decoration. The food was more than great and the service was also great. We had great contact with the owner, both before and after the wedding. Recommended!!

At this time of year this really is the most beautiful spot in Uden, what a (Christmas) atmosphere. The terrace is beautiful with its large Christmas tree, lights and fire. It is also beautifully decorated inside and after a crisp autumn or winter walk this is the nicest place to rest and enjoy a delicious warm dinner. I enjoyed the Tom Kha Kai soup and a deliciously soft sea bass and the children enjoyed a pancake and an ice cream. The area is perfect for a beautiful autumn or winter walk and if you sit down here afterwards, your day will be absolutely perfect!

I chose the Pier as a party location for my 50th birthday and it was perfect. Had a few conversations in advance about the location and the possibilities. The party itself was held in the back part of the hall, which we decorated somewhat festively. In addition to the usual drinks, we received four luxury snacks during the evening, ending with a cone of fries. De Pier, thank you again for the good and pleasant service!

We came for dinner yesterday afternoon and what a good experience we had here, very friendly staff and interaction with the children, the sandwich was super tasty and fresh, the loaded fries were tasty and a large portion, the pancake was delicious according to the daughter 😃 there was also a drinking bar for dogs, this was a brilliant idea. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely visit again

What a nice and atmospheric place. Lovely terrace, excellent food and drinks for a good price. Staff here and there a bit inexperienced and therefore clumsy. But that certainly shouldn't spoil the fun. We will definitely come back!

We got there well before 8 p.m. but couldn't order anything because they close at 9 p.m....Unfortunately! Drove to this place for nothing.

Great service, the la choufe was super tasty. Loaded fries were really loaded. The appetizer was enough for all of us and very tasty. Sat all evening, I definitely recommend it!!!!!! The staff thought along with us when choosing and Marit served us really well! Recommend it to everyone after an afternoon of realization.

Coincidentally, I enjoyed mussel evening with you yesterday. It was delicious, with plenty of sauces, bread and fries. Great👍👍 The service is friendly, caring and very attentive. The owner of “Bedafs-Hofke”, Geertje, informed us that there has recently been a new owner. That is very clearly noticeable. Keep it up. 4 very satisfied customers.

Cozy restaurant "de Pier" with a beautiful terrace. Nice lunch after a bike ride. Located on the Bedafse Bergen Uden, this is a popular place for walkers and cyclists.

Very nice place for lunch and dinner. We come here monthly. Great service, excellent price/quality ratio and you can enjoy lovely walks in the area. The plus point is that dogs are also welcome.

Enjoy a nice summer dinner on a large terrace. We used the BBQ concept for groups. Enjoy dining together at a gigantic 4-meter table. There is a beautiful outdoor playground on site with entertainment for young and old. Recommended!

Great location, good atmosphere and friendly service. Nice place to have a drink with family or friends. We like coming here and have for many years. However, the quality of the food is less this summer. A few weeks ago we received a satay that had only been prepared. A table next to us received a good satay an hour later. This week we tried it again, but the fish (from fish & chips) was fried way too hard. The service politely says that they will pass this on to the kitchen. However, it would be better if they checked in the kitchen whether or not something is suitable to put on the table. Hopefully these were exceptions and this review will help put tasty food on the table again.

We had a party at the Pier for our wedding, including drinks, cake and dinner. We are very pleased with the hospitality we have been offered here and the Pier is absolutely the top location in Uden when it comes to atmosphere, hospitality and environment. We had a fantastic day at the Pier, definitely recommended if you ever throw a party yourself. I can't think of any cons.

At this location we had the dinner and party of my sister's wedding. The food was very tasty, and a pancake was specially made for my daughter. Then we had the party. The glasses were continuously refilled, so no dry throats ;) and at the end delicious fries and snacks :) definitely recommended!

Large place with a beautiful outdoor terrace. Service friendly. Prices correct. Lots of young staff who seem a bit lost. Toilets next to the fireplace, neat, tissues were unfortunately out.

We only had a drink here. The terrace was well occupied. Our table was not cleaned after the previous guests.

Seemed nice, but it turned out to be a major disappointment because it took a very long time for the food to arrive. Reservations at 5:30 PM and dinner at 8:15 PM. No clear prediction. 3 of us couldn't wait any longer and went home early. No gesture from the manager/cook to compensate us.

Especially the atmosphere. Some staff members seem stressed, running from here to here like a chicken. What particularly struck me was the person behind the bar. I'm tempted to approach him and ask if he can approach his colleagues/staff members(?) with respect. I experienced his entire way of communicating, even derogatory, as absurd. I don't think the gentleman any longer realized that guests were simply exposed to this. In addition, too few staff to keep it running smoothly. Great food for the price!

Today we had a nice drink and a delicious meal with 3 families. It looks neat and tidy, very friendly staff, delicious food. The little ones have also been well thought of, a beautiful child-friendly playground and the right portions for children. The food was good and a well filled plate. The atmosphere in the restaurant was also very good, everything neat and clean as far as we are concerned, see you soon! And definitely recommended to go there.

Today I tried to have lunch outside in the sun. When taking the order, it was indicated that it was busy so the food would take "a little" longer than normal. I asked what "a little longer" was, but couldn't be told. After 45 minutes I asked again how far the food was. There was a snarl that it was in the kitchen and that they didn't know that. In the meantime, we had been without drinks for 20 minutes and after raising our hands several times, no one came. After 70 minutes we paid for the drinks and left. How is it possible that after 70 minutes there are not 3 sandwiches on the table, nothing can be said about them and then no drinks are taken?

We had to wait more than an hour for our main course. We were told they were having a party when we asked why it all took so long. The satay was pre-cooked and extremely dry. The schnitzel came out of the fryer and was as hard as the sole of a shoe. The "raw food" turned out to be a bowl of lettuce with a ball of potato salad. What a disappointment and poor quality! Was everything to your liking? No Unfortunately not. The answer: what a shame, unfortunately I can't do anything about it, it was obviously very unsatisfactory. But yes, given the attention to the quality of the food and service, we should have expected this answer. In a word: very disappointing and NEVER again.

Food was fine, good portions. but there were 9 of us and it would be nice if everyone got their food at the same time. One person's plate had fallen (it can happen) so it would come later, one person was missing the fries, which only came when everything was gone and a carpacio sandwich had been forgotten..... You had to ask for that again, You would say that if there is a place without a sign, it would be noticeable🤔

Only drank coffee. Location is great.

After fifteen minutes, no one was seen. The next person was helped. We left again and we won't be back...

Lovely spot after walking. Often with a nice fire outside. Don't order a salmon sandwich, you will only get the bottom of a sandwich. The other dishes such as the sandwich are large portions. I ate a sandwich at home.

Very pleasant and friendly service. Unfortunately, there are no disabled parking spaces, but we were still able to park opposite the entrance.

A nice warm place. Real old Brabant cozy feeling. I stayed in the holiday park next door and ate here twice in a week, a place where you like to walk to to experience that warm "home" feeling and have something to eat. Simple menu, but what I ate was of good quality. As it should. Bring a book and enjoy the forest atmosphere, walkers, dogs, good food and warm sheepskins. No unnecessary luxury, but an old-fashioned, cozy Brabant atmosphere.

Very beautiful resturant and very good service.This resturant is in middle of sea on the pier. We ordered chicken burger and salad which is ok ok .Staff is very nice and polite . If you want to enjoy luxurious resturant then this is highly recommended. Fresh orange juice is highly recommended .

Very cosy. The Christmas spirit was already present. Beautifully decorated Christmas tree on the terrace and fire pits in various places.

With 85 guests we celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary in a wonderful ambiance, so a beautifully decorated room, super friendly service, a fantastic Burgundian buffet (adapted for guests with a diet and children's menus), an outside play area for the little ones with good accessibility and parking. And all this for an excellent price-quality ratio in a friendly Brabant atmosphere. We immediately promised that if we reach 60 years, we will definitely celebrate our party again at De Bedafse Pier.

Fantastische plek! Tegen de bossen, gratis parkeren, lekker eten en geen standaard kaart met nieuwe lekkere gerechten. De fijne sfeer is goed behouden, terwijl de nieuwe eigenaar de Bedafse Pier steeds aantrekkelijker weet te maken, waaronder een fijn groter sfeervol terras. Wij komen er graag!

Zeker een aanrader!! Onlangs hebben wij hier met de familie gedineerd. Toen we binnen kwamen werden we warm verwelkomd, ook was het personeel erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. Het eten kwam netjes optijd en was heerlijk, en de kinderen hebben zich goed vermaakt in de speeltuin. Onlangs het druk was kregen we optimale aandacht van het personeel. Ook de prijs is super voor wat je krijgt.

Wij hebben hier laatst met de familie gegeten. De service was erg goed werden meteen geholpen. Het eten was heerlijk. We hebben echt genoten!

Het eten was bij de Pier lekkerder, dan nu bij de Bedafse Pier.

De borrelplank viel toch wat tegen

Vriendelijk personeel. Eten heel lekker. Geluncht. Stukje nieuw terras is er bij gekomen. Maar nog rommelig. Binnen super oude nostalgie ook de wc. Maar wel schoon. Er liep van gasten een herder los rond te lopen. Onprettig. Dat zegt iets van de gast natuurlijk. Maar niet 1 personeelslid vroeg de gast hun hond aan te lijnen en bij hun tafel te houden.

Wij komen hier en regelmatig. Goede service en lekker eten.
