The food was fantastic. I'm not a fish lover, and the alternatives were delicious. Besides the courses we ordered, we also received other tasty snacks as a treat. The dishes used a lot of local produce, including ingredients from their own garden. Our hostess was fantastic; we felt incredibly welcome. Highly recommended! Bonus: we were spontaneously given a look at the beautiful garden when we asked a question about it.

The food was sublime in every way. The flavors complemented each other perfectly; the portions were generous, and the plates resembled beautiful paintings. Furthermore, the staff was very welcoming and attentive. The ambiance was very cozy and stylish. Highly recommended! A gem in the most beautiful castle in the Netherlands!

Very unfriendly staff, unhelpful. They wouldn't let people use the toilet even though someone had a foot injury. Their only response was: "This has nothing to do with me." A very peculiar response. If you treat people like this, I advise the staff to take a refresher course in customer service.

Fantastic! We only had coffee and soft drinks because we were rushing off to the castle. Despite that, the service was excellent. The coffee was delicious. Very friendly to the children. They even got a cookie with their drink and a lollipop when they paid. The restrooms are very clean.

Had dinner here last night! Sublime! The waitress who helped us was very warm and knew how to explain everything to us in detail. We enjoyed it from start to finish!

Last Saturday, we enjoyed a fantastic dinner at De Blauwe Dame. The restaurant has a charming setting. The service was excellent, and our waitress deserves a special mention! She was incredibly friendly and explained with great enthusiasm and expertise why certain wines were paired – a real added value to the experience. The dishes were creative and beautifully presented, and the wine selections were surprisingly good. The only downside was that the main course (fish) was a bit dry, but otherwise, everything was excellent. The price is a bit higher, but the quality and experience more than make up for it. Definitely recommended for a special night out!

What a very fine evening! Thank you very much! We felt completely at home... we were well looked after by friendly, very professional, and unobtrusive service, and we enjoyed a fantastic menu. We also liked the good selection of non-alcoholic aperitifs and wines. The terrace with a view of the castle and the fountain of the small lake opposite is a lovely place to sit. The background music is subtle and very relaxing. The table decorations were very subtle, with artificial flowers that looked deceptively real. The table setting was simple. Everything together appeared elegant and tasteful. The value for money here is just right. The hours were like a mini vacation. We are full of praise... we were thrilled! We really wanted to come back! See you!

The food looked beautiful, but the hot dishes were served lukewarm (8 people). The sitting location was not really attractive and the waitress only bothered for the person who paid. Very expensive for what you actually get

Zeker niet te weinig en de frietjes bij het hoofdgerecht mochten van ons ook achterwege zijn gebleven. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Wij komen beslist terug.

In kasteel Hoensbroek ligt dit mooie restaurant. We komen hier vaker omdat het altijd top verzorgd en lekker is. Deze keer met 8 personen in de Opkamer gedineerd. Vijf gangen keuze menu, heerlijk! Mooie begeleidende wijnen bij de gangen. Zie de foto's.

Mijn 90e verjaardagsfeest was bij Restaurant De Blauwe Dame in Hoensbroek. De locatie is sowieso geweldig en omdat het weer zo goed meewerkte kon deze feestmiddag geheel plaatsvinden op het terras van de kasteeltuin. Een mooiere locatie is vrijwel onmogelijk… Omdat er in Kasteel Hoensbroek nóg een festiviteit plaatsvond was het héél druk. Maar gastvrouw José had voor mijn feest extra parkeergelegenheid gereserveerd vóór de poort. Dat werd zeer gewaardeerd omdat er ook gasten bij waren die slecht ter been waren. De hele middag, van ontvangst van mijn gasten, vlaai met koffie, lekker aantrekkelijk getapt pilsje, goede wijnen, fantastische culinaire hapjes tussendoor, vriendelijke professionele bediening etc. … tot aan het einde van de middag, alles was perfect geregeld. Dus hiermee wil ik nogmaals mijn hartelijke dank uitspreken voor De Blauwe dame! Het was GEWELDIG!

Heerlijk 5 gangen diner, goed verzorgd en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Niets was hun teveel en alles was mogelijk met de gerechten. Mooie ambiance.

Wij hebben hier gisteren heerlijk gegeten! Van het 5-gangen diner hebben ze van iedere gang een waar feestmaal gemaakt. Het personeel was vriendelijk en elke maaltijd werd ook duidelijk omschreven.

Warm onthaald. De gastvrouw weet uiterst goed hoe ze met gasten om moet gaan. Zeer smakelijk gegeten.

Zeer goed. Lekker en vers eten. Niet heel veel keuze, maar wat ze hebben is top. Tosti, oma's soep en oven snack.

Doet zich sjiek aan maar mist behoorlijk wat puntjes op de i. We hebben wel lekker gegeten maar.. Slechte prijs kwaliteit verhouding, weinig keus en ongeïnteresseerde en slecht geïnformeerde bediening. We hebben wel gemerkt dat aan een andere tafel de (andere)bediening een stuk beter was. Jammer, een gemiste kans want potentie is er wel. Wat ons betreft niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Tijdens een kleine roadtrip door 't Limburgse land hier gereserveerd.. En gelukkig was er nog plaats. Zeer bijzondere lokatie en vriendelijke ontvangst. Covid proof maar zonder in te boeten qua atmosfeer... Tot in de puntjes verzorgd... Van menukaart tot dessert. Gekozen voor een drie gangen menu, met het dessert als optie voor gang 4. Smaakt allemaal subliem. Mooi opgemaakt, verse producten en vergezeld van een mooi glas wijn... Genieten met hoofdletter G! Zeer de moeite waard!!

Lekker maar prijs kwaliteit verhouding is niet genoeg, te duur voor wat ze aanbieden

De Blauwe Dame serveert verrukkelijke gerechten. De Carpaccio met frisee, pijnboompitten en piccalillyijs streelt de tong. De Ravioli met spinazie perfect op smaak en warm! De tournedos met bearnaisesaus ( medium rare) is zo mals...zaaalig! De saus moet je ook even op een frietje doen. Een absolute aanrader. De pepersaus bij de andere tournedos was ook heerlijk en paste perfect bij de medium tournedos. Heerlijke wijn erbij. Een kaasplankje als afsluiter waar je mag proeven van al die heerlijkheid met stroop en mango. Dit alles in een sfeer van perfect gastvrouwschap en een warme ambiance gecombineerd met een kok die van zijn vak houdt en dat proef je terug in iedere hap. Een aanrader. En als het weer het toelaat begin dan met een glaasje wijn op het terras. Dank jullie wel José en Richard voor een mooie, lekkere en gezellige avond. Wij hebben genoten. Wij komen terug en zeggen het voort! Vergeet niet te reserveren vooraf.

Hoensbroek hoe zijn we hier terecht gekomen 😆 De Blauwe Dame in Hoensbroek heb hier een lunch gereserveerd samen met lieve vrienden want we gingen een Franse bulldog pup uitzoeken aangezien zich hier de fokker bevind. De zaak is beeldig, klein maar fijn een hele charmante gastvrouw komt je tegemoet en de ontvangst is uiterst vriendelijk 🤗 We hebben genoten van de lunch en de wijn was heerlijk 🍷 Als de pup 5 weken oud is komen we zeker weer terug 🤩

Prima gegeten. Verwacht er geen grote porties. Kwalitatief goed verzorgd. Jammer dat het er bij meer mensen (de zaak zat op zaterdagavond vol) erg rumoerig is. Je kunt elkaar nog met moeite verstaan, waardoor iedereen nog harder gaat praten. Ook de toiletten zijn voor mensen die wat slechter ter been zijn moeilijk bereikbaar via een steile open trap.

Fantastische Keuken! Leuk en vakkundig personeel. Uitstekende chef met een bijzondere wereldwijde staat van dienst. Een restaurant voor de fijnproever, die bereid is om een paar euro extra uit te geven om werkelijk een tovenaars-gerecht voorgeschoteld te krijgen. Dit los van de unieke locatie.

Erg lekker,goed verzorgd,maar de "wauw"factor heeft t wat mij betreft niet.
