A lovely little restaurant on the market square in Sluis. A breath of fresh air compared to the many eateries in Sluis, which are shamed by what they serve. A decent lunch at a reasonable price.

Friendly staff, good food, nice atmosphere

I ordered a steak, but what I got was truly unacceptable. The meat was tough, dry, and completely inedible—even a dog would refuse it. As a chef, I would never dare let this leave my kitchen. For a dish presented as a steak, you expect tender and juicy meat. This tasted more like a piece of sole leather. Even the sauce couldn't disguise it. A huge disappointment and definitely not recommended.

The very rude lady who answered the phone kept giving me the Social Deals voucher. I told her the voucher was about to expire, and she said, "There's no room for me the days I asked," and she said, "Sure, you're in." They'll never see us again, and I certainly won't recommend the business. We've been going there for a long time, but I've never been treated so rudely.

A very friendly welcome, despite the sudden change in weather outside. We were immediately offered to eat inside. Simply excellent, and the kitchen staff were also excellent for their delicious and beautifully presented food. Highly recommended 👍

This was a one-time deal, not a second. They're not particularly picky, but this was way over the top. We had to search for steak, plus it was burnt.

Nieuwe kennismaking met dit restaurant. Prima kaart met goede gerechten die wel stevig geprijsd zijn. Kwaliteit is prima. Bediening is zakelijk maar correct. Als het terras voller raakt heeft men moeite met de verwerking van de klanten.

We were there for the evening market on a Tuesday, and it was delicious. The homemade cheese croquettes are delicious, and the lasagna is also excellent.

Zéér lang wachten (aperitief na 45min) voor een menu dat de kostschool niet overstijgt. Niet duur, maar veel te duur voor hetgeen geserveerd wordt. Afrader.

Vorig jaar daar toevallig beland toen een belegd broodje gegeten wat heel lekker was ,toen we vandaag dagje Sluis deden met mama erbij gingen we terug daarheen met goede bedoelingen maar helaas bleek het minder waar buiten konden we niet zitten met 3 personen maar laten ze wel 2 personen aan een tafel van 4 zitten hebben daar een uitleg voor hun keuze dus naar binnen maar maakten daar geen probleem van ik bestelde gerookte zalm met garnalen wat wel lekker was mama en mijn vrouw mix grill toen ze dit opdienden zag dit er al niet ok uit 5 stukken vlees grote zelfs de worst was nog rood van binnen dit gezegd en terug meegenomen en terug gebracht maar niet veel beter de kip juist hetzelfde we hebben het laten liggen toen de opdienster kwam afruimen vroeg ze was lekker zei ik haar dat niet ok was dit was niet naar haar zin ze zei dat we het moesten zeggen dst ze niet altijd kan komen vragen hallo ? Je kan zo alles terug geven wij vroegen de rekening maar ze stuurde haar collega zij had geen zin meer de snoepjes die ze normaal geven gaf ze de opdracht niet te geven dan maar vertrokken ik heb dit op een vriendelijke manier gezegd 85 euro betaald als je tegen geen puntje van kritiek kan doe dan iets anders !

Wij zijn gisteren geweest ,gereserveerd voor 3.Ik heb eigenlijk wel genoten van het lekkere eten,ook meer dan voldoende.En de bediening ging heel vlot,alhoewel het heel druk was.....Dus 5 sterren u van harte gegund.

Mooie zaak, bediening redelijk. Een aantal van ons bestelden een spekpannekoek, en kregen een lauwe vooraf gebakken opgewarmde pannenkoek met een paar plakjes spek erop gekwakt. De toetjes vielen ook tegen, en ik moest voor 6 personen €160 afrekenen. Daar komen we niet meer!

Had a delicious meal in this cozy restaurant via social deal. Price-quality fantastic in terms of food, drinks are expensive. Very smooth and friendly service. Ribs were immensely tender (fell off the bone), so very high quality. Smoked salmon toast was a generous portion and delicious. The vanilla ice cream and waffle were also very tasty.

Bezoekje Sluis en besloten te boeken (via social deal, dus met mooie korting). Was eerder rustig (dinsdag en regenachtige dag). Vlotte en vriendelijke bediening. Ruime porties (wel een beetje op zijn 'Hollands' geserveerd) maar lekker. Het heeft gesmaakt !

Asked if there was still room for two people and a stroller to have lunch. Fortunately, space had just become available on the front terrace. So we could take a seat. We were told that it was very busy because the cook was on his own. We said that that is no problem and that we fully understand that and will wait. The service went smoothly. When the drinks were brought to the table, the teacher brought a jar of drinks/peanuts. I kindly indicated that my girlfriend is severely allergic to this and cannot tolerate the smell and that she can take it back with her. When picking up lunch my friend requested a goat cheese salad. A beautiful plate was brought to her with a salad sprinkled with... yes... drinks/peanuts. That can happen of course. But when we asked for a solution and the lady spoke to us in a friendly manner, it was said quite loudly from inside to outside that 'We cannot cancel that salad'. Removing the nuts was not an option due to cross-contamination. The teacher said that she had not made the connection with the salad. The menu says 'nuts' with the salad. Which is okay but which is also very broad. So the allergy had been mentioned. I understand that when it is busy, it is busy, but not to take on this responsibility as a restaurant and manager because of €5 in purchasing and ignoring an allergy is below par. While clearing the table, the lady asked 'did you like it?' while my friend's plate was still untouched on the table.

We had a delicious meal here, carpaccio and salmon with toast, large portions! the salmon and the fish pot were great!! as well as the satay!

Met acht personen waren we niet eens welkom voor een lunch terwijl er op het terras voldoende ruimte was. Ook niet voor twee keer vier of twee en zes. Ook een gezin met drie kinderen werd weggestuurd. Op zijn minst opmerkelijk…

Bad experience with the staff. Perhaps the workload is too high, but it has rarely been seen that (potential) customers are approached in such a way in the catering industry. You witness how potential customers are turned away because they are "in the way". After placing the order, you are informed that you can only pay in cash. This should actually be done in advance, then you have the choice to leave. Due to the attitude of the staff I would not recommend this place

Best place in Sluis for a good meal, best place in Sluis for coffee and pancakes. Excellent service, friendly staff. We have been coming there for so long since it existed and we always stay.

Very sad service! We were there with 3 adults and 3 children. Very family unfriendly. Were not served. It was said that the kitchen was understaffed and there were no drinks...very unfriendly! Never been served in such an impossible way... No recommendation!!!

Had a delicious meal today at this top address. The service is more than friendly, the food is delicious and very fair prices. I enjoyed shrimp croquettes, a mixed grill and a vanilla coupe for dessert. A plus address in Sluis!!!!

(Honest) meal for next to nothing

We ended up here via Social Deal. My partner had fish soup as a starter, I had carpaccio. Unfortunately there was only 1 x mixed grill, so I took the fish pan. Since the fish soup was already quite filling, I ate half of the mixed grill. I liked both. The mixed grill were nice large pieces. To finish we had a waffle with ice cream and whipped cream. We really enjoyed it and I was more than satisfied 😄

Voor de vierde maal zijn we met plezier gaan eten in de Drie Wijzen en steeds zijn we aangenaam verrast. Een vriendelijke welkomstgroet van de eigenares die zich zelfs kon herinneren waar we de laatste keer zaten en wist dat ze rekening moest houden met bepaalde allergieën. Keer op keer worden we vlot bediend en de copieuze steak was overheerlijk: mals en prachtig gebakken zoals gevraagd. Terug komen is voor ons een zekerheid want wij voelen ons gezellig thuis in deze zaak die door de twee mensen in de zaal perfect gerund wordt. Een dikke proficiat en tot weldra. Pieter.

Zoals altijd SUPER VRIENDELIJKE bediening... was er druk en zat goed vol, maar ondanks dat blijft de bediening, rustig, correct en uiterst vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Top team 👌

Het terras overtrof mijn verwachtingen! De relaxte sfeer en informele setting maakten het een perfecte plek om te ontspannen. De zitjes waren comfortabel en boden een prachtig uitzicht. Wat betreft de bediening: die was gewoonweg uitstekend. Vriendelijk, snel en attent. Deze plek staat absoluut bovenaan mijn lijstje voor een volgend bezoek! 🌞

Het was een vrij leuke ervaring alleen ik had een soort salade met een soort burger besteld, het kwam aan en er was geen een saus, dus je stikte er bijna in. Iemand die hier ook ging eten met ons, had een pannenkoek bestelt, dat vrij weinig was. Verder alles wel goed.

The place is nice, expecially if you are sitting outside, the food was good but not a lot.what we did not like it was the service, too slow and they forgot orders.we asked for ketchup and they forgot, we asked for a coffee, they first forgot, we had to ask again twice and they still made us wait for 20 minutes, for one coffee!!

Eten is goed, maar niet speciaal. Hebben wel lang over 3 gangen gedaan (3 uur), wellicht was het de groepsgrootte (7). Wel aandacht voor dieetwensen/advies. Op de markt kun je betaald parkeren, goedkoper net buiten het centrum.

The food was not so good. For example, when you order a burger for kids you get 1 pice of meat without bread. And the nudels are to soft. The tomatosaouce is only water with tomato. So i can say it was Bad but it is my opinion.

Bezoekje gebracht aan De Drie Wijzen op een doordeweekse dag. We werden begroet door het personeel bij het aankomen in de zaak. We bestelden iets om te drinken én drie keer één pannenkoek met ijs en chocoladesaus. Jammer genoeg verminderde het tempo van de bediening nadat de bestelling werd opgenomen. Ons geduld werd in de zaak heel hard op de proef gesteld en twijfelden zelfs om, na 20 minuten te wachten op ons drinken, te verhuizen naar een andere zaak. Uiteindelijk wouden we de pannenkoeken toch nog een kans geven. De pannenkoeken zijn vers gebakken maar zeker niet de beste die ik al gegeten heb. Jammer, deze zaak heeft wel potentieel.

Ik had mij menu met vijf verschillende vlees genomen was simpel biefstuk veel te droog friet veel te hard. Zijn geld niet waard. En nog eens lang wachten voor dat op je bord te krijgen. Frituur zou beter geweest zijn.

Wij gaan al jaren naar daar en worden altijd vriendelijk bediend. Heel lekker eten. En de pannenkoeken zijn ook heerlijk. Dat is al jaren onze vast plaats als we Sluis bezoeken.

Heel lekker! Uitgebreide kaart. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. We komen zeker terug!
