Wonderful hospitality and a pleasant atmosphere, excellent food, and friendly staff. A personal approach. Feels like coming home!

It's not outstanding, but it's okay. We ate here during our last two New Year's holidays. There's definitely room for improvement in terms of quality. We'll be back in Bergen aan Zee next New Year's and will check it out again. If it's better, I'll definitely update this review.

The soft tacos and burgers are delicious, there's a good selection of Mexican dishes, but also pizza and even a Thai dish. Friendly and uncomplicated, would gladly come again!

A cozy lunch spot on the boulevard of Bergen aan Zee. They have a fairly varied lunch menu; the quesadillas and nachos were delicious. They also have some decent beers on tap. The service here is friendly and welcoming. The Duinerij omelet was also very tasty.

Lovely place by the sea. The road here goes through Bergen, a stunning destination in itself. Restaurant with a large selection, also Mexican. I am vegetarian and had a wonderful couscous salad. Large terrace with seating and also lovely inside. We also had a fresh green salad and wonderful tacos

The food was delicious! We decided to order several small appetizers and a pizza for drinks. The pizza burrata (without Parma ham) exceeded our expectations. Plenty of food, delicious food, and a very large glass of fresh lemonade. We sat outside in the sunshine, but the interior was beautifully decorated. Friendly service. Highly recommended!

We were on the road and stopped here for a break... Of course, for something to eat and drink. Pancakes with apple. Very tasty...

There are also delicious vegan dishes on the menu! And the location near the beach is great, with some of the outside areas even offering sea views.

Great shop. We've been coming here for over 30 years. Super friendly staff, fantastic owner who's also fully cooperative, the food is excellent, everything is clean, and the prices are fantastic, unlike the ridiculous prices charged by competitors in the area. Being right on the beach makes the atmosphere even more enjoyable.

The location wasn't convenient for what we had with us. We still can't manage stairs, but otherwise, it was fine. The food was okay; perhaps a few more options for babies. And cheaper than one hamburger for a child of 13.50. The child doesn't even eat the whole burger, and ordering that burger himself is just not possible. So, we just share our own burger. The atmosphere was nice and cozy.

We had a wonderful meal here yesterday! There's a lot of choice on the menu, and the dishes were delicious. It's a shame the avocado burger wasn't available, but the burrito, tomato soup, and bitterballen we had were truly excellent. We would have liked a vegan cake for dessert; that was a bit lacking, but otherwise, everything was excellent. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in the restaurant was cozy with lovely lights. The beachfront location is the perfect finishing touch – a truly beautiful location. We will definitely be back! 🌊✨

The day before, we were standing in the parking lot across the street, watching the crowds stream in, and today we went in too—supreme! Top value for money.

We ate there last night. We had spare ribs with fries and a pizza with custom toppings. The service was very good and attentive. The food and drinks were delicious. We felt very comfortable there. The atmosphere was good, and we would come back. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed delicious mushroom soup

Since the beginning, about 34 years ago, we've eaten here an average of 15 times a year, always to our complete satisfaction. The menu is varied, the price-quality ratio is excellent, and there's plenty of choice, but don't expect culinary masterpieces... thankfully. We often eat out, but De Duinenrij feels like home for us.

Very pleasant atmosphere! Exceptionally friendly staff. Correspondingly friendly customers. I would have liked the only thing spicier was the Mein Tai noodle dish with shrimp. It was just spicy.

A good restaurant with an open terrace, located near the coastline. But you won't see the sea from here. In addition, the staff is not very professional (dirty dishes were on the table for a long time). As for the dishes - too many french fries as a side dish, too much batter in the dishes. I think it's better to just skip a couple of glasses of beer here, but not have lunch

Yvon's is always delicious. The prices are good, not too expensive. That's why you'll eat out more often. Delicious coffee and nice draft beer. White wine is also very good. Portions are not too small. A household name for delicious and affordable food for decades.

In the summer, we made a reservation in advance. First of all: it was scorching hot. No air conditioning, just one fan for the entire interior. After the first round of drinks, we had to wait over an hour before being served. After the main course was brought, we weren't helped again. The food was mediocre, which made for a rather unpleasant evening!

5 stars! I had an excellent meal here, and it was the best tasting meal I've had in a restaurant in the Netherlands so far. Highly recommended! I had a very good Mexican burger, and the rest of the family had pancakes, with apple and raisin pancakes being my recommendation.

We had a fantastic meal at De Duinerij in Bergen. Richly filled tacos packed with flavor, a wafer-thin pancake with bacon and apple, just the way you like it. Finished off with homemade apple pie just like grandma makes. All served by extremely friendly staff. A top-notch place!

Beautiful spot with a view of the sea

The food was really delicious and freshly prepared – we were very satisfied overall! Everyone especially enjoyed the pancakes and burritos. Another positive was that there were plenty of free tables in the afternoon – you could sit and enjoy yourself in peace. The staff was friendly and attentive. One small negative: the vegetarian burrito and the beef one were unfortunately mixed up during serving. This was a bit annoying and should be addressed more carefully in the future. Nevertheless, a pleasant experience and good food – we'd be happy to come back!

We had lunch in Bergen aan Zee at De Duinerij. There are a few Vegan options. Staff is beyond reproach. There was also nice music playing in the background.

Unfortunately, we can't give a good review of the food. I ordered a Mexican-style Caesar salad. I was really looking forward to it, but I was very disappointed. It lacked flavor and seasoning, which is what you'd expect and expect from a Mexican-style meal. The salad dressing was almost nonexistent. I only received it after asking twice, but it was also almost unseasoned.

Simple, but tasty food. Very busy in the summer, so you sometimes have to wait a long time for a table and then for your food, but on 'normal' days it goes fairly smoothly. Unfortunately, most of their Mexican dishes contain peppers where they shouldn't, so I can't eat them due to an allergy. I think that's a shame. Other dishes are fine.

Tip: the homemade apple pie 😊. Hospitable service. Very attractively decorated.

Visited today after a bike ride. Nice people, delicious cup of coffee and apple pie as it should be. Delicious without currants or raisins. We go to many restaurants where they have apple pie with coffee, but this was one of the best. The price was also as it should be.

How special that I have never written a review for this great restaurant, even though I have been coming here since 1995! Back then with my parents, and now with my own children. This restaurant is truly a gem. The kitchen is versatile, the quality is top, and I without a doubt give it a big 10. The service is phenomenal: always customer-friendly and cooperative. This restaurant is definitely worth making a detour for. Highly recommended!

Heel bijzondere gelegenheid om met een gezin met kleine kinderen naar toe te gaan. Ruimtes zijn open, maar zodanig ingedeeld dat het lawaai van kinderen niet door de hele zaak gaat. Bediening was heel prettig, maar okergeel goed in de adviserend voor zoveel mensen. Het eten was gevarieerd en erg lekker. We zijn de volgende dag met zijn tweetjes nog een keer terug gaan en hebben ook toen heerlijk gegeten

Terrible woman in the service bit full of black hair. If you take off your clothes for a moment and don't immediately say Good afternoon back. You get snapped at... every time she is there, there is another conflict that makes you feel unwelcome. This was the last time for us.

Snubbed for the third time by a woman, dark long hair, sturdy build. She makes you feel so unwelcome and gives you a big face when you ask something. Too bad because the food is fine but we will never come back...

After reading the reviews I found the dishes quite tasteless. The carpaccio and piri piri lacked flavor and spice. The supplied baguette was white and not well baked. The steak was fine, unfortunately the stroganoff was from a package and you can taste it. I even thought he was a bit sour. Just like this review. Slip sole was fine, Mexican wrap tasteless. Desserts were fine, the crème bruléé and the chocolate cake were tasty. We were a large group, but that shouldn't matter. Quality was a bit disappointing to me, to be honest.

Pizza was dripping in oil. César salad Mexican was so bland, it was just sad. There was only a small dollop of sauce on the salad and otherwise the salad was just bland and quite dry. Unfortunately no recommendation.
