De Elft in Velp

I have eaten it several times, last time the leek stew where you had to look for the leek, the stew itself was limp and soft and tasted like sand potatoes, for that price I could not express much enthusiasm, just like the quantity. The penultimate time I had snitzel, vegetables, fried potatoes, the snitzel and sauce covered the potatoes and not for nothing, I turned the potatoes over one by one and there were only about four that were not fried black, very bad and unhealthy, they had thought about presenting them with the black side down, you are already eating. Left the black potatoes behind, the waitress who was clearing the table saw this and didn't say anything when I paid her at the cash register. For the rest, the staff is usually friendly, the eggs (egg dish) are good, the coffee is also tasty and of good temperature.

Just a good cafe to eat. Staff is friendly and the chef does his best. And that results in a tasty bite to eat after a day of work.

Parked the truck at this roadside restaurant and paid it a visit. Kindly received inside and found a seat. I studied the menu and it was reasonably clear and concise. The prices are what you would expect from a roadside restaurant. But it is very good in relation to the quality. So I can recommend you to have a simple bite to eat here.

Various stews such as 'Grandma' made meat of your choice. Of course there is a MENU so much more choice! NOTHING: 'fancy the fidget' just the WARM BRABANT COZY! 4 neat showers with plenty of space. Plenty of truck parking. And last but not least, AFFORDABLE! Ps. The Elft also moves with the times. So no barter, but cash and debit card please

Wonderful truck drivers restaurant. Was very busy with locals. Great Comfort food, hot, tasty and wholesome. Little wonder the residents of Grave pack the place out. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely visit again if this way. It was a blessed relief to be able to have mashed potatoes after a week of fries.

Originally a truckers' cafe, which residents of the Grave also find their way to. It seems that truckers make a detour to eat here and that is understandable, the atmosphere is cozy and the food is very good

I'm not a truck driver, I'm just a random cyclist looking for a place to shower after a race before going to work. I ended up at De Elft via email and the experience was really great! I was helped very well, the girls in the service are quick, personable and nice. I was assigned a shower and it was fine. Modern showers, clean and just very nice. I can't judge the food. What I saw passing by looked fine, fries with a piece of meat and vegetables.

Very cold welcome from what appears to be the manager. Stop on the side of the road 600 meters from the restaurant but you have to eat to be able to take a shower even though you have to pay for it. And what's more, I don't even park in their parking lot. As for the food with the language barrier, I probably chose my dish wrong but at €17 per dish, it’s really still a scam. And it's not even good. Honestly, what raised the level was the very kind and smiling waitress who, despite my abominable English, took the time to provide me with good service. And the showers very good installation and very clean! Without that the rating would have been 1 or 0 if that were possible. Result 24 euros for this dish accompanied by a coke and a shower.

An excellent location, where you are served politely and where you can enjoy a delicious meal. Choice of hot and cold vegetables. And where you can simply eat good, tasty food. They even serve boiled potatoes!

With the tachograph under our arms we headed towards Grave! After a hard day's work, our group was very hungry. Half muscle pain from typing, the other half testosterone pain. It was a busy evening and the waitresses were running faster than Usain Bolt on speed. They did an excellent job. Courteous elegance alternated with Dutch down-to-earthness. "Here, take it," as if a mother's wife directs you to take dinner. A wonderfully discreet hint that makes the thoughts wander home. And then the food. The chef is a kind of undiscovered Gordon Ramsey, who can fry schnitzel like grandma. Not as if an angel is peeing on your tongue, but as if the whole heaven is descending on your taste buds and buddy Peter does not let you in, but you let him in, for a heavenly ride to the stomach. Of course, a bowl of custard was a must. Vanilla as vanilla should be. Apparently hand-picked in the forests of Madagascar. A delicious dollop of whipped cream completed this orgasmic taste sensation. The hilbillies were satisfied, their bellies were full and they all went home satisfied. Back to mother's wife. Even our trucker friend from Moldova frowned when he saw these treats.

As always, it was pleasantly busy, had a nice meal, showered and slept well. You park here in rows of 3 trucks one behind the other and you indicate to the site manager what time you need to leave and he will tell you whether you can park in the middle or at the back from now on.

Here you can still eat well for little. Nice girls in the service and Duke Jan vd tap. 8 stars! 9 stars if they played some trucker music in the background and 10 stars if they had live music. We would sit around drinking until late at night.

Was al even geleden dat ik er geweest was. Een dikke 50 jaar..... Wat ik besteld heb smaakte me prima. Ook dat je stamppot kunt bestellen is geweldig. Vind ik! Het best druk. De parkeerplaats stond nagenoeg vol. Zegt ook wel wat!

Ik heb een super gezellige avond gehad gister, ontzettend vriendelijk personeel, goede service en het was vooral prettig ivm de dodenherdenking dat er keurig netjes 2 minuten stilte gehouden werd. Ik ga hier zeker vaker terug komen

Een echt zeer goed chauffeurs restaurant.

Een heerlijke uitsmijter met ham en kaas op. Ik als vrachtwagenchauffeur voel mij hier meteen thuis. Het ziet er netjes en schoon uit met een vleugje truckers sfeer.
