Healthy sandwiches without egg, tomato, cucumber, 7.50, that's why the place is empty. Ridiculous, why would I pay for such a small sandwich? Friso is better than your sandwiches.

Good dishes for a good price, with friendly service.

From the camper site, it's only a few hundred meters to this fantastic restaurant, which is also easily accessible for wheelchairs. The Victoria Perch was delicious, and our desserts were also superb! We will definitely return to this cozy restaurant with its friendly staff and affordable prices.

We stopped here one afternoon. The service was exceptionally friendly and attentive. The decor is very cozy, and the food tops it off. It's super delicious, and the meat is cooked to perfection. Thank you so much for the great food.

Lunch, dinner, Hotstone grilling or perhaps a snack or a nice cup of coffee, everything is possible and is prepared with love for you! A menu with a wide choice of delicious dishes. Recently tried the hotstone grilling (new on the menu) with friends, a must, prepare your own meat or fish on your own hotstone, very tasty and extremely cozy to do. I would say let yourself be surprised and step inside this "warm" cozy restaurant!

Let's start at the bottom. The atmosphere was phenomenal because there was a karaoke evening. The lady and gentlemen of the restaurant sang fantastically. Then the service from the young lady there was also particularly friendly and helpful. Then the food. I had the mixed grill and I can recommend it to everyone. Would like to move from Utrecht to Sas van Gent just for this restaurant.

We were in T Sas van Ghent with the mobile home and had dinner at De Gastronoom, it was so delicious that we went back to eat there the next day. It was super tasty and the service was very friendly. When we come back to T Sas van Gent we will definitely eat at De Gastronoom again. Super tasty for little money 👍🏻

If I could give 0 stars I would do it, very poor service, you have to ask for fries (forgotten as with every table), you order something without mushrooms and you send it back, you get angry looks and after 1 hour you have your food

Bezoek viel tegen. Onervaren bediening. Vis was droog en overjaarse prei als garnituur met ‘belegen’ saus. Kalfskroon sappig en de betere kwaliteit. De gevraagde champignonsaus werd vervangen door een Mayonnaise. Er werd trouwens extra portie aangerekend aan 1 euro! Alleen ‘vaatjeswijn’, toch jammer voor een restaurant! (Te)Veel personeel, onderling weinig communicatie, wél veel goeie wil maar daar betaal je niet voor! Graag ook geen hond achter de toog omwille van de hygiëne.

Gaan eten met mijn man. Mijn man had scampi's genomen in looksaus en dat was redelijk goed. Ik had een vispot genomen met verschillende soorten vis in een kreeftesoep met sla en frietjes. De vis van de vispot was goed , maar de kreeftensoep waar de vis in was klaargemaakt smaakt o percent naar kreeft , nogthans is dat niet moeilijk hoor neem kreeftensoep uit blik doe daar wat room bij en dat zou veel beter zijn . Dan nog een minpunt de mayonaise die was zo wit of een blad papier niet echt smaakvol. De bediening en kader van het restaurant is goed .

We have been here several times with the children to eat and the service was always good. We have a 2 year old daughter who sometimes spills food on the floor. What you can expect, they always cleaned up. Last time she came to bring a can and further and the owner asked. whether I wanted to clean it up, that they had a lot of work to clean up last time we were there, I was irritated, but I did it, less than a minute of work, so I don't know what she is making so difficult about, we have decided to I won't eat here again, this is not good service

Perfect people, nice restaurant, lots of choice, note that they are open until 10 p.m. but the kitchen closes at 8:30 p.m. You can park your truck at a 10-minute walk at the Sugar Square car park near the football field.

Alle review ten spijt hebben wij hier niet goed gegeten. Het vlees van de snitzel was verkeerd op de draad gesneden en daarbij niet gebakken maar uitgebakken.

Knappe fünf Punkte! Essen war lecker 😋- darf nachgesalzen werden! Es wird in offener Küche gekocht. Die Pommes waren genau unser Geschmack und die Vorspeisen absolut empfehlenswert. Ganz toll: Viel junges aufmerksames, freundliches Personal - familiär, trotz 70 Gästen. Total voll am Samstagabend - so soll das sein und noch zwei Plätze bekommen. Wir kommen wieder!

Wij hebben er weer heerlijk gegeten.

Wij waren met 13 personen, 9 volwassenen en 4 kinderen, we hadden gereserveerd en er werd gezegd dat buiten waarschijnlijk niet zou lukken maar binnen wel. Dat was voor ons geen probleem. We kwamen daar en we werden gelijk begeleid naar de andere kant van het straatje waar 3 tafeltjes stonden met stoelen en 2 parasols. We hadden in eerste instantie gezegd dat we voor een frietje en snack zouden komen maar wilden dit toch wat uitgebreider doen maar de plaats waar we kwamen te zitten was zeker niet geschikt hiervoor, de tafels wiebelden en hadden totaal geen ruimte voor meer dan een bordje friet. Daarbij voor de 3 grotere kinderen waren de friet als voor volwassenen gerekend en de hoeveelheid was gewoon een kleine friet a 3 euro per bordje, ook voor de volwassenen. Dit was in tegenstelling tot voorgaande bezoeken aan de Gastronoom echt een teleurstelling.

Vriendelijk personeel. Schone en opgeruimd toilet. Hoeveelheid eten super. En erg smaakvol.

Bijzonder lekker gegeten op het terras voor een hele vriendelijke prijs. (Aanrader vooraf: stokbrood met tzatziki voor slechts 2,50!) Vriendelijke bediening. Helaas dinsdag en woensdag gesloten.

We werden heel vriendelijk ontvangen en kregen een fijn plekje op 't terras. De service is zeer vriendelijk en snel. De Vispot van 't huis was echt rijkelijk gevuld en smaakte excellent. De Mixed grill was ook heerlijk, goed gebakken en gekruid vlees, heerlijk mals. En de frietjes, al jaren niet zulke lekkere friet gegeten. Toetjes ook perfect en niet te zuinig! Al met al tevreden en een aanrader!

Heerlijk eten voor een normale prijs

We waren er met een groep van zo'n 45 personen om te eten. Eten was prima. Bediening was vriendelijk en vlot. Prijs weet ik niet, waren uitgenodigd. Zeker een aanrader.

14 mei 2023 18.00 moederdag,gingen wat eten maar was heel druk en gereserveerd,plaats buiten kregen eten op tafel geserveerd met dekentje omdat het best fris was ,even later konden we naar binnen toe omdat er plaats was,thnxxx mevr bediening met bril voor binnen te zitten ,borden werden binnen gelegd en drinken en konden verder met eten TOP BEDANKT ,en patat was super lekker goede olie in gebakken en gloeiend heet bij bediening 👍👍👍, waren gelukkig vaker hier geweest Bediening= 9 Klantvriendelijkheid= 9 Eten=9

Netjes en sfeervol ingericht restaurant met vriendelijke bediening en lekker eten en meer dan voldoende eten ook leuke en lekkere suggesties. Ook met de feestdagen het gehele jaar door leuke menu's en alles voor een leuke prijs uit eten

Lekkere paling, eenvoudig gepresenteerd, zeer vriendelijke bediening. Aangenaam terras en goed gelegen. Bezoek waard.

Snel even eten in de buurt van Sas van Gent? De Gastronoom bezocht. Bij mij bekend "van vroeger" (eind jaren '70) toen het nog een heel goede snackbar was. Nu houdt het het midden tussen een snackbar en een restaurant, waarbij het restaurantgedeelte is afgescheiden en waar we een heel goede maaltijd hebben genuttigd. De saté is zelfs uitmuntend en de verhouding prijs en kwaliteit is ook uitstekend. En de bediening? Attent en heel vriendelijk. Ook top dus. Verder heel netjes en schoon, waar menige andere horecagelegenheid een voorbeeld aan zou kunnen nemen.
