The food and drinks were delicious. There was only room left at the high tables. The main course and dessert were fantastic!

A beautifully decorated, cozy restaurant where you receive a friendly welcome, after which we could find our own table. The food was good, quick, and plentiful. The tomato soup (in combination with the 12 o'clock snack) is highly recommended. And the seagull? He's watching me to make sure everyone washes their hands after using the restroom! ;-)

We waited an hour, ordered sirloin steak, and received bad, cheap meat, and it smelled terrible. My husband and I noticed it immediately because we couldn't eat it. We finally took it, since we'd paid €100 for it, but we ended up throwing it away. I'm pregnant. They first gave me a "mini salad," and it was awful, a mix of lettuce and nuts. Truth be told, we left disappointed.

Fantastic dining and drinking establishment in an ideal location. The food is delicious, the service excellent (the waiters and waitresses have "Good service, happy people" on the back of their T-shirts, and rightly so). It's a pleasant place to sit, and everything is very clean.

We enjoyed sitting on the terrace in the sunshine. Inside, we were able to charge our bike batteries so we could continue our journey fully charged.

We don't come here that often. But we looked for a lunch spot and it was pleasantly full. Sorry, but we don't like to sit somewhere where there are no people. So we sat here for a lunch with a 12 o'clock snack and some croquettes. Great lunch. Definitely worth repeating!

As a resident of Terneuzen (of course) I have already visited several times. For dinner with a group, lunch and just coffee while shopping. Everything is always well taken care of with an attentive, friendly owner/hostess and - very importantly - always attentive and friendly service from the employees. In my opinion, one of the best catering establishments in Terneuzen!

Not good enough. Had to wait a very long time for the food, and even then it was disappointing. The stew was scandalous and we had to send it back. Meat cannot be cut, just like chewing gum. Stew should be buttery soft. So either not cooked enough or skimp on price by taking muscle meat. Nicely resolved by removing this from the bill. The sirloin steak was of good quality, but for €38.50 I expected something more than a corn cob and a piece of herb butter on the plate. Not even a sauce. This really didn't make sense at all for that price. Service was OK at times, but also typically Dutch at times. Tip: always look at the customer's glasses. Mine was empty for an hour. Good for your turnover. I arranged a second round myself, but after that I gave up.

I personally think it has deteriorated a bit lately. The 12 hour hour is no longer what it used to be and has become quite expensive for what you get. First you got an extra bowl of soup and now you have to order it with it, you also only get 1 croquette instead of 2 that you always got before. I also think it's a bit exaggerated for a waffle with fruit etc. for €12.50. Very unfortunate. For the rest, it is a very nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and very friendly staff.

From today (27/4/24) a new card. With a beet salad for €16.50 and a fish salad for €21.50. See the photos for the size of the portions. They are very small and not at all what we are normally used to from the dish. We really hope that they do something about this very soon, because this was a travesty.

The Gentelman steak with mushroom cream sauce was inedible. Muscles everywhere in the meat and the sauce is as thin as water. There is almost no pleasant conversation and at first the servers are nice, but at a certain point they almost start throwing you drinks. We ordered the steak medium rare. Personally, I think it has gone a bit backwards. My 12 hour meal consisted of a so-called Rotterdam egg with brown edges. The shrimp croquette had a fishy aftertaste. The tuna salad and additional salad were fine. No choice in type of bread, standard white. It certainly wasn't bad, good atmosphere and the staff is friendly, but I didn't think it was really great. It lacks the old allure from years ago. I didn't like seeing the waiter coughing in public without his hand over his mouth. Let's hope this was a one-off.

The flavors of all dishes are perfect! Enjoy it from appetizer to dessert! Everything tastes pure! And the prices are really good. The portions are also generous. How this restaurant could not get a real star remains a mystery to me because it really deserves it!

Nice place to eat out. Nice location together with a nice interior. It was decorated in theme for Halloween. Good ribeye with a tasty dame blanche for dessert. A bit on the pricier side but worth it. Service was good, but we were without drinks during our main course.

Not known in Terneuzen, we ended up at your restaurant. And that turned out to be a very good choice. We were given a festive welcome (due to our 30th wedding anniversary), our sharing dish for 7 people was thought through in advance (including vegetarian food) and very personal attention at the table by your colleague.
