Bravour=Gastroout! Due to a namesake in the province (with much less appreciation!) the name had to be changed, but everything is still as perfect and cozy as ever: tasty+quality+service+affordable. No culinary Lego blocks, but well-chosen tasty dishes together with excellent wine recommendations and (also important) super delicious bread. We will definitely come back.

Decided to just walk in without a reservation for a dinner, and did not expect the place to be this nice. It’s super cozy inside and quite romantic. The food is great, the service is quite fast, we were really pleased.

A friendly restaurant with an attractive and varied menu, but the original dishes lack the refinement they promise, in my opinion. The promising flavour combinations do not come into their own, which makes the price-quality ratio disappointing. However, this does not detract from the friendly service and the pleasant atmosphere.

What a great place this is. The evening started quietly with a drink and a small snack at the cozy bar. Then in a cozy setting we really enjoyed a delicious meal with nice wine. Will definitely go back again!

Very good food! Good price-quality ratio. Very nice atmosphere - cozy but quiet, well-tuned music, and nice and professional staff. I just had to ask a lot (forgotten a map, water, etc.) and everything went quite slowly. Would definitely go back and recommend

Ondanks de regen was het goed vertoeven op het terras onder de luifel(s). De gerechten waren met zorg samengesteld; verrassende combinaties wat leidde tot een ware smaaksensatie met als hoogtepunt een, door de chef speciaal bereidde, oesterproeverij. De bediening was professioneel en aangenaam aanwezig. Kortom een heerlijke (in alle opzichten) avond! Hartelijk dank en tot de volgende keer!

Tasty appetizer, nice pepper steak

This is purely because the staff contacted does not respond to the complaints of neighbors. Having a drink after work is fine. But making noise on the terrace at half past two is really going too far! The fact that we have to get out of bed (even after 12 o'clock at night) to ask if it can be turned down a bit is crazy! Please speak to your staff, otherwise we as a neighborhood will be forced to take other steps.

Expected more based on the reviews. Waited a long time (hour+) for the food, even though it was not busy at all. You also don't hear anything about food that was then served cold/lukewarm. No proper cutlery, dirty glasses and cutlery. Wagyu was also way overcooked, which was a shame. In short, poor service and cuisine (on that Friday evening anyway)

The service has no idea what it is doing, there are dishes that never arrived on the table. The Pork belly was dry, and came with side corn on the cob and popcorn. Painful.

I would like to share my positive experience at this restaurant. The food was very tasty, with lots of vegetables (eggplant, asparagus etc) that were excellently prepared. From the creamy puree to the crispy chips as decoration, everything was prepared with care. The starter with peas is highly recommended, partly because of the tasty oil that was served with it. The dessert, a crème brûlée with cardamom and anise, offered a surprising and delicious flavor combination. The staff were relaxed and friendly, which created a pleasant atmosphere. All in all, a very successful culinary experience that I can definitely recommend.

The food was very tasty but we had to wait a very long time for the food. We were already inside at 6:30 PM. We had our starter at 7:30 PM and our main course at 9:00 PM... that was a shame. Nothing was said by the staff about it either. No excuses or anything, it seemed the most normal thing in the world. It wasn't busy at all so we didn't understand it either. But it was tasty.

As Brabanders, we surprisingly ended up at De Gastronout in the Dapperstraat. But we certainly didn't regret it!! Really enjoyed incredibly tasty (especially fish) dishes in delicious sauces, beautifully presented with matching wine. Kudos to Nout and his team. Thanks also for the attention. Atmosphere: Too bad there were so few tables occupied on this weekday. It was probably due to the cold and rain. Worth experiencing this culinary art! Bye!

Incredibly delicious food and very enthusiastic service. Floris and Nout are real hosts who take the time for their guests and give good advice and, if in doubt, let you taste it. In short, we really had a great evening there last Saturday, April 6. We will definitely come back and recommend everyone to visit Gastronout.

I have had a delicious and pleasant meal here a number of times before. But now: mud regularly flows from the garbage cupboard onto the sidewalk. The terrace is usually dirty. This is just the outside; I wonder what's happening in the kitchen.

De Gastronout heeft heerlijk eten en een grote wijnkaart. Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en attent. Toen het eten op tafel kwam nam de chef zelfs de tijd om persoonlijk wat te komen vertellen over het eten! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar.

Fantastisch eten met heerlijk bijpassende wijnen! Personeel was zeer attent en gaf een mooie wijnparing. De chef kwam zelf onze gerechten brengen met een uitleg van de verschillende componenten, wat zeker een toevoeging is aan je ervaring daar. Sfeer was ook top. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Ik was vandaag etentje met een vriendinnetje. We hebben heerlijk gegeten en goede wijn gedronken. Bedoening was erg vriendelijk en hielp met de keuze van wijn en gerechten. Daarna heerlijke cocktails gedronken.

I was debating between 3 and 4 stars. Overall, the food and wine were good with a good value menu with a range of choices, which I think would suit most diners. The atmosphere was good and staff were friendly. Where it was really let down was in terms of service efficiency. We arrived for a 7.30pm booking and by 10pm had only had starters, which not everyone had ordered. There were long gaps in service from when we arrived to receiving the menus to receiving our food and no explanation as to why, until we asked. Even at the end, we asked for the bill and were given it but the waitress didn't come back for payment so we had to get up and pay on our way out. I would consider going back but only if I didn't have any other plans for the entire evening, given the incredibly slow service.

Classics, but original and refined. Plates prepared with care, but above all simply delicious. The casual atmosphere and nice service make De Gastronout a very nice place for a bite to eat in the neighborhood or an evening of dining. Highly recommended!

A wonderful restaurant with a high-quality menu, new name, same owner, even better quality. Japanese carpaccio….highly recommended, Vitello tonato classic but better. Price-quality extremely good in expensive times! We say, book and try, never regret!

What an absolute gem. This restaurant was delicious from start to finish. We had the baratta, the chicken, the steak and the pork, and tried the white chocolate dessert, the creme brulee and the chocolate raspberry tart. Not a single bite of food was left on any plate, and we all had different favorites. I will crave this meal for years to come. Amazing!!!!

Kregen dit restaurant als tip. Komen zelf niet uit de buurt. Wij hebben op zich heerlijk gegeten. Bij het hoofdgerecht vroegen wij een lekkere rode wijn. En deze kregen wij ook.. op de rekening zagen wij wel dat één glas €12,00 was. Wij zijn van mening dat het wel even vermeld had mogen worden als je zo‘n glas wijn serveert. Gemiddeld glas op de kaart was ook rond de €7,50 dus ook niet iets wat je perse verwacht. Dit was het enige wat tegen viel voor de rest lekker gezeten.

Overpriced food. Nothing remarkable. I ordered Iberico press and they brought me sirloin. The waiter was very kind and they changed my course and offered a discount that we refused, because there was no reason for that, but after that someone from the kitchen came to our table with a frozen pack of press, insisting that it was a Spanish product, press of course. I don't doubt the content of the pack, but I don't doubt that my course was not press,I know perfectly the difference. But what amazed me was the fact that they came with frozen meat to the table!. Should I guess that everything is frozen there?. They made the situation even worse

We went to celebrate the bday of my boyfriends with my in laws and it was very nice! Nice service, food selection and ambience, it is also great for a date night. My favorite starter was the chicken liver and the burrata, we also took the bbq cabbage (nice meatless option) and the pepper steak was very tasty. The white chocolate dessert was very nice to finish. I definetly recommend!

Vanavond heerlijk gegeten. Heerlijke mooie plek op edn plek waar je het niet verwacht! Als voorgerecht een heerlijke makreel(een vis die ik normaal gesproken niet echt lekker vind) met een Japanse twist. Daarna pousinn(piepkuiken) ook niet te versmaden. Ga los met heerlijke, verrassende wijnen of laat je adviseren en je avond kan niet kapot. Wij komen zeker terug.

Gisteravond gegeten bij de Gastronout en super goede ervaring gehad! We kwamen voor het vieren van een diploma en werden meteen hartelijk gefeliciteerd. Ook is er heel lief en zorgvuldig rekening gehouden met allergieën, dit was dan ook geen probleem. Eten smaakte ook top!

Gisteren hier gegeten, na het lezen van voornamelijk positieve reviews, ik had zelf een mindere ervaring. Na het ontvangen van de rekening in eerste instantie nog braaf gezegd dat het prima was, maar dat kwam voornamelijk door de shock waarin ik verkeerde. 115 euro 2p 2gangen ieder 2 drankjes. Ik realiseerde me dat vooral de prijs kwaliteit me irriteerde. Tegenwoordig is 100 euro vrij normaal met 2 personen, maar dan verwacht je dat er ook iets tegenover staat. Een burrata, op een bedje van rucola en 3 tomaatjes, een dorade op een leeg bord met een dotje salsa en een lauwe pepersteak en een bord patat, waar de doorsnee brasserie het nog beter weet te presenteren. Kijk even bij Rons Gastrobar, wat je voor 9 euro op je bord krijgt. Gastro??? Nee... Bediening verder ok

Een gastronomisch geheim in de luwte van de Dappermarkt. De leuke zaak, spontane bediening, fantastische eten, het is allemaal top en een aanrader voor een lekker avondje uit eten. Laat je verwennen door deze crew zoals wij dat hebben mogen ervaren. TOP!

Afgelopen weekend per toeval bij Bar Bistro Bravour uitgekomen. Wij werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Sjoerd. Het restaurant is klassiek maar speels ingericht. Een zéér uitgebreide wijnkaart met diverse soorten wijnen. De menu kaart is klein en elegant. Prachtige gerechten worden hier op aangeboden. De steaktartaar die wij hadden was subliem, misschien wel een van de beste die ik ooit in mijn leven heb gegeten. Het hoofdgerecht met lamsvlees was ook perfect. Heerlijke gerechten. Door het reserveringssysteem was er een fout gemaakt op de rekening. Hier kwamen wij later pas achter onderweg naar huis. Nadat we contact hadden opgenomen is dit fantastisch opgelost! Wij willen jullie bedanken voor het heerlijke eten en de leuke avond.

Vandaag had ik hier een overweldigende middag, door een lunch met mijn aller dierbaarsten, vanwege een speciale gelegenheid. Het team van Bravour (o.a. Nout en Sjoerd) was echt geweldig. Menu: top! Wijnen: top! Service: top! Entourage: top! Echt een aanrader.

Vriendelijke bediening en gezellig

De twee dames van de bediening zijn snel, doortastend, attent,vrolijk en beleefd. Het vlees was een tikkie droog, maar dat werd ruimschoots goedgemaakt door de overheerlijke ( veel vergeten) groentes! Het restaurant ziet er leuk uit, maar vanuit de hoek waar wij zaten keek je zo het werkdeel in waar het een rommeltje wa. (Misschien even een gordijntje ophangen?) Klein minpuntje was ook het doosje met muizengif dat naast onze tafel in de hoek stond..... Maar verder echt een aanrader!!!!

Heerlijk terras, goed eten en fantastische service!! Enorm genoten van onze avond.

Sjoerd really knows his wines - and offered us even one of his private collection since he ran out of the one we ordered. Insider tip: go within the week when it’s not so busy and get the full experience.

Bijna 5 sterren. Gisteren heerlijk knagen, last minute gereserveerd. Ambiance fantastisch, kaart heerlijk simpel overzichtelijk op één A4. Vega gerecht met Boleet was taai zonder nonsense omgewisseld maar bestel bleef achterwege en bij navraag was de dame gewoon 3 andere mensen aan het serveren… echt jammer! Ruim aandacht ook voor vegetariërs. Goede selectie bubbels en wijnen, eerlijk geprijsd. Helaas kon onze serveerster niet overtuigen van diepe kennis van de aangeboden wijnen. De steak tartaar en kip zeer fijn bereid, net als de Vega opties, dank Chef! Wellicht tot snel! Bravour een echte aanwinst voor de buurt!

We hadden gereserveerd voor een valentijnspecial (vast menu). Het eten was heerlijk, het was een vismenu met vooraf een kreeftenbisque, als hoofd skrei met een hele lekkere wortelcreme en achteraf een rozentaartje met ijs. De porties waren perfect, de smaken heel goed en de prijzen heel redelijk! De ambiance was knus en informeel, dat klinkt wellicht alsof het een bruine kroeg was, maar de styling is gewoon modern en mooi ingericht. Daarnaast is de bediening heel vriendelijk, houden goed contact met je - je hoeft nooit te wachten - en hebben veel kennis van zaken. Echt een aanrader!

Met 11 vrouwen zijn we de hele avond in de watten gelegd door Sjoerd. Met een heuse champagne proeverij heeft hij ons wegwijs gemaakt in alle verschillende soorten en smaken. Echte pareltjes zaten ertussen. Met bijpassende gerechten, overheerlijke oesters, hebben we echt genoten! Petje af. Of moeten we zeggen Petnat?
