This place was amazing. It was recommended to me by my tour guide and I was looking for a place I could order take away to bring it to Westerpark and it was perfect for that. The food itself was amazing as well. I loved it so much I came here for dinner two days in a row during my visit to Amsterdam. So much flavor and a good portion size too. I would definitely recommend!

An authentic Indonesian takeaway on a busy Amsterdam street close to Centraal Station. Our favourites were the beef rendang and beef smoor. For non-meat options the lodeh broth and tempeh dishes are absolutely delicious. However, everything on the menu was really tasty. Lea and Nani guided us on how to make your own properly at home. We visited twice and had the rijstaffel in their sister branch in Indrapura restaurant. Both were excellent. indo@home is ideal for sitting in or takeaway and we felt it was very good value for money. If we lived in Amsterdam we would visit this place a few times a week.

The food is delicious, still has authentic Indonesian flavors, a bit cramped for dining in, but overall great and the price is also reasonable.

I only went in for some telor to go with the dinner I already have tonight. They didn’t make it until dinner time. Will - or better - must go back more often, because only the eggs were already delicious!

Traveling for 1 full month in Scandinavian countries and Iceland without Indonesian food is like a snail losing its shell. And now, on the last day in Amsterdam, I found yellow rice, it felt comfortable and delicious The chicken stew and pickles were delicious, I didn't feel like I had finished it all because I was accompanied by the kind-hearted Ms. Lea while eating. We had small and medium menus. There is a good variety of vegetarian toppings. Tofu tempeh and egg were the best.

This is a tiny place: dine-in consists of one small round table that can barely fit 2 people, and there is a counter from which the food is served. But that food is EXCELLENT. Whether you want spicy or not (we went with the less spicy options) it is tasty and the small/medium/special is a really nice meal in a bowl. We both had a mix of beef and chicken, but one of us the white rice with green beans and tofu, the other ordered fried rice with eggplant (aubergine) and cabbage with coconut. Both were excellent, with perfect flavor balance and a nice mix of textures. If you want a quick meal instead of a full sit-down, this is a really good place to go. Just be aware that a group of more than 2 won't really be able to dine in, and even for a group of 2 it is luck of the draw whether the one table is free.

I am Indonesian, Live in South Korea, visiting Amsterdam. I ordered "Nasi Campur" Medium size. The best Nasi Campur I had outside my home country. High recommended if you want to try Indonesian food. Must try, mixed with Beef rendang and Nasi Kuning.

Great place with fantastic food. Only one table inside but you can order takaway and eat sitting on a chanelbank.

Amazing little Indonesian place in Amsterdam! We had Rendang and Smoor sandwiches and a medium rice portion, all rich in flavour and carefully prepared. The place is perfect to stop by for a quick lunch, there are some spots to sit down and look outside at people passing by while eating. They also had vegeterian options with tempeh available. Totally recommend!

Super tasty food, very authentic and the stuff were very welcoming. Sadly its more like an Imbiss and Not a proper Restaurant but focusing to the food experience its really great. Definitly worth to explore.

Stumbled upon this place as near to our hotel. After nearly 2 weeks in Europe, our Malaysian tastebuds craved for some good Asian food and this place didn’t disappoint! Super yummy rendang daging and my favorite tempeh goreng *chefs kiss* Ibu manning the counter was so friendly and hospitable, and we had a lovely chat in Bahasa ❤️

Total meh. Walked in, there’s one table, no music, and the food is all cold. Ordered beef rendang, then the lady there heated it up in the microwave. Whatever, I’ll deal with it. But she nuked it so hot I could barely eat it for 15 min until it cooled down. Burned tongue. Food was ultimately mediocre, ambiance is terrible tbh (completely silent, single tiny table for toddlers, little stools). Too bad.

My sis and I grew up with an Indonesian background from our moms side and knew that in Amsterdam we had to find some good spots to satisfy that craving that is sometimes even difficult to find back home in California. This place was no frills, 1 dine in seating area and incredibly tasty and reminded us of what we grew up with. I’m not sure why there’s inconsistency in the “for here” serving type of bowl from their plate to take out (we said for here) but it was so amazing. Favorites- the Gado Gado sauce was so creamy and delicious. The sweet beef and the beef Redang was cooked well, soft and tasty. The prices were very welcoming and I hope for more people to come and give this place a try!!

Vandaag voor t eerst afgehaald, heerlijk gegeten . Twee overheerlijke bakjes en als extra Tempeh en kokossalade super lekker. Smaakte echt als in Indonesië. Moest wel 4 min in Magnetron ipv 1,5 . Aanrader !!

The food was really good I had the noddles mixed with beef and chicken and some beans vegetables. I asked for some extra pepper spice and it further colored the taste of the meal. Great customer service super clean environment. Definitely coming back (:

I am 100% Indonesian and I grew up with so many tasty Indonesian foods. At Indo at Home, I really can taste the authentic Indonesian taste! All their foods give me a taste of home. I LOVE their foods! And the people are also very very very nice! Always wants to visit them again and again whenever I am in Amsterdam. LOVE IT, LOVE IT AND LOVE IT!

Super adresse, un véritable compromis entre une cuisine indonésienne et un petit endroit où on y mange rapidement. Le serveur et/ou gérant est à votre écoute et saura vous conseiller un plat qu’il composera devant vos yeux. C’est peu cher et très bon. Les saveurs sont incroyablement nouvelles et éclatent dans votre bouche.

Just picked up another meal from Indo @ Home. I love coming here because of the clean, fresh atmosphere, the friendly chef, and the general good vibes. But that's not why I'm writing this review. I'm writing this for the food. The meal I just ate was so intensely flavorful that it blew my mind all over again. Each side dish, from meat, to vegetables, to tempeh has such a clear and defined flavour. The spices are perfectly balanced, and the balance between sweet, savoury and spice makes each bite a joy. Hands down the best Indonesian food I've had in the Netherlands. The food at Indo @ Home is inspired. I love cooking this cuisine, but I doubt I'll ever get on this level.

Fantastische Indo. Je proeft dat deze mensen met liefde én verse ingrediënten koken. Klein zaakje waar wachten allesbehalve een straf is: aardige mensen, fijne ruimte en er staat altijd iets klaar om te proeven. De tahoe met peteh-bonen zijn een aanrader!
