As a Greek it's hard to find authentic, good Greek food in the Netherlands, but Ikaria Park tastes like home!

Absolutely amazing food, from starters and cocktails to deserts. Highly recommend! Must tries are for sure the lamb and the octopus. And that spicy feta with pita, jesus christ it was good

I have seen many iterations of this restaurant because this used to be my old neighborhood. I must say that Ikaria excels at food quality from all the different restaurants that I've tried from this park. The cocktails were on point too and the service was fast, attentive and kind. You definitely don't feel like you are in a rush to leave. The music is there but at the right volume and I must pay my respects for a greek restaurant to be devoided of anything white and blue. In that sense, Ikaria is hiding in plain sight! It is a bit crammed inside unfortunately if you get a table for 2 you might not get so much privacy.

We had a wonderful meal and experience at Ikaria Park! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic Greek flavors in every dish. The Campari spritzes were amazing, everything was fresh, and the staff were so friendly and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

Greek? Delicious? I found it mediocre and very pricey. Lamb ribs are a small, fatty piece of mutton, half of which is bone, membrane, and fat. Unpleasant flavor and €32. "Fantastic wine from Kefalonia" turned out to be mediocre wine from Zakinthos. Furthermore, a regular order doesn't fit on the small tables, and you're practically sitting on your neighbor's lap.

By far, this has to be my favorite Greek restaurant outside of Greece! (And, I’ve never said that before in a review.) Customer service was top notch. The waiters were all attentive and friendly. The food came out of the kitchen rather quickly and the portions may look small, but they are super filling. I ordered the beet root salad, spicy feta dip with some pita, and the octopus ragout. I recommend coming here for a romantic/friend date, a birthday, or special occasion. Overall, the vibe was immaculate and will be coming back!

Awesome restaurant, loved everything about it

We spontaneously tried to get a table at the restaurant and put ourselves on the waiting list. We received a call within 15 minutes, and they immediately made an effort to find us a spot. Truly fantastic service! The restaurant is located in a park. The outdoor seating is equipped with heaters in the fall/winter and enclosed by glass panels to block the wind! The interior is also very nice! The staff is very accommodating! Now for the food: Absolutely fantastic, modern Greek cuisine! All the ingredients were of very good quality, beautifully presented, and perfectly prepared! We'll definitely be back!

We loved this restaurant! We got the spicy pepper feta dip, seasonal beats, courgette fritters, dolmas, seasonal main dish rabbit, and broken mozaiko. I loved it all! The spicy feta dip was so good!! We were with two and very full afterwards! It was such a nice atmosphere with very friendly staff too! I would really recommend this place.

Had a little lunch in the park for our anniversary. The food was delicious and our waitress was so lovely. Although it was raining, we were kept dry under the umbrellas which gave a nice cozy vibe.

I was there once and the food was amazing. Upon my second visit, this time just for a coffee, I was told that they don’t serve just coffee (but if you were to eat, then the coffee would be servable) and that they have a dedicated coffee place just down the street. Went straight there but the dedicated coffee place closed - all in all, great foot but won’t bother returning with this customer-oriented policy of serving coffee from a closed coffee spot.

I have to say I really love brunch on Ikaria’s terrace. We stayed 4 hours and it was lovely, the drinks and cocktails are very nice, the dips and starters are very pleasant. The mains were delicious but they are more like shareable small plates, if you are hungry you probably need a little more. The Bougata dessert was delicious and surprising.

What delicious food! We ordered all sorts of dishes and enjoyed them so much.

Nice place, with good Greek dishes. Atmosphere and location (in the park) are good, wonderful in summerdays. Most people sit outside but since everything is wide open, you have the outside feeling when you’re inside. Do take into account that portions are more Dutch size than Greek size (so you can take some starters without being too full already). Totally worth the visit and away from the many tourists. Recommendation (chicken thyme 😱🥰)

Lovely Greek restaurant in a pleasant park. Food is ideal for sharing and was really delicious. The wines are well described on the menu and allowed us to choose something to our taste. When they needed our table back, they didn't kick us out but gave us a high seat to finish our drinks. Would recommend.

We were there with a group of 4 on a very busy Thursday. The service was pretty slow, and some waiters were super nice and friendly and others a bit strange. For example, a waiter told us “we will also inform you about the specials for tonight when you’re ready to order”. Then a waitress comes, and is ready to take the order…I ask her about the specials and there’s an awkward silence like she’s no clue what I’m talking about?! Then I go on to order an octopus and she says “oh sorry this dish was switched for today”….So overall, I would say this was definitely below average service experience. Then the prices: definitely on a higher end for mains but the mains are not too big. Portions of fries, pita, salad, olives were great though. And finally the food: the chef is doing a great job, the ribs were amazing and so soft! The chicken was juicy, and the fish had a nice char, amazing ratatouille and Greek salad. Because of the delicious food and nice park atmosphere we still enjoyed our evening. Editing: while ordering, my husband said “can we have a pita”, thinking we’re ordering 1-2 pita breads. Well, after looking at the bill turns out they put it as pita x4 which was 12€ …our friends didn’t even want it. I find it very strange.

Honestly just really excellent all around. Great vibes (as it’s literally in a park), authentic Greek high end vibes, great services and recommendations, tasty orange wine, and delicious dessert. Will definitely be back!

We visited the restaurant, we asked for a table as we really wanted to try this place (it had been recommended by a friend). We were told that all tables were reserved. Then, when a table became available, we asked again but received another negative response. We even asked if we could wait for a table to become free, and the answer was No, given in an unfriendly and unkind manner. The place itself seemed perfect, but the response from the staff was quite negative and unwelcoming!

The atmosphere is very pleasant, and the food is good, but the portions are small. I think the waiter forgot to order my dish because the other people at the table were served, and my dish arrived much later, missing the accompanying fries; I waited a while longer for them to arrive.

The food is very tasty, worth trying, but it's quite expensive, the portions aren't that big, and the service leaves a bit to be desired... We ordered a steak with a side of potatoes, but the meat arrived and the potatoes only arrived about 15 minutes later, and they only serve with reservations! The atmosphere is quite pleasant, located in a park.

great greek place, the food is tasty and fresh the waiters were helpful. i particularly loved their greek salad and tzatziki. the portions are mid sized.

Food was real good and the restaurant has a cozy atmosphere to eat. Octopus starter was great. Good quality olive oil. I really liked the dakos salad, but it had only few capers. Dolmas were not very special. It was served on a kefir sauce, but did not taste much different than yoghurt. Langoustines were also pretty OK. We were recommended to have a pita bread. But it tasted exactly same a Supermarkt half cooked tiny pita bread, for 3 euros. Service was disappointing, I specifically asked the waiter to leave my dish on the table, because I was planning to continue, but it was taken anyway. At the end of our lunch, we wanted to continue for a cocktail, but we were told that we have to leave because we only had 2 hours booking spot, and they need to arrange it for the other customers. Sort of a weird rule that you would experience in low end restaurant, not here. At that time, there were several empty tables, so should be possible to arrange that.

Food is good, restaurant is cute, and wines are good however, prices are on the higher side and the 2h timeslot is just not enough and makes the experience rushed. Waiter kept asking if we wanted more, and if we wanted to order rapidly… reminded us of the timeslot. 2h is not enough when you share food and feels completely contradictory to Greek culture of sharing food and having a good time.

Great experience at Ikaria. It was my second time here and it’s definitely a place I like to keep in mind. The staff were friendly and helpful - special thanks to Nicolas for the wine recommendation and the Greek travel tips! Our table was a bit delayed, but they made a nice gesture to make up for it. the food was very nice, however they are severely understaffed, so it takes a solid 10 minutes to get a waiters attention which is not ideal. other than that, the location is beautiful, perfect for a summer evening and the food was fresh and tasty

Brilliant eatery in the heart of Amsterdam set amongst lush trees. Sublime food with a variety of options, knowledge and friendly waitrons. Probably the best Greek food outside of Greece. Beautiful atmosphere, especially in the summer on the terrace. The food and service were both excellent. We accidentally booked the wrong date, but the lovely Kristina made it work and kindly arranged a table for us, so we could still enjoy the delicious meal. My favorite dish was the spanakorizo — absolutely wonderful!

I’ve got to be honest, it’s been a while since I had an experience like this. I absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere and I just cannot say any critique about this place. Loved it. Coming back soon.

Overall we had an okay experience. We didn’t appreciate the fact that the waiters were very inattentive and forgot are orders. The food was extremely salty, which I’m not sure is typical for the Greek cuisine. The chef was very kind to take the main dish off the bill after we send it back, that was very considerate. So I’m not rating that dish or experience, as we didn’t pay for it. But for the other dishes and experiences, I just wouldn’t really recommend this restaurant to friends, even though the atmosphere and outside/inside seating was nice.

Amazing! The food is amazingggg!!! You are seated either inside with all windows/doors open or outside in the park. It’s such a nice vibe. Service is also great, despite of it being hectic, they apologize for mistakes and all good.

The restaurant is uniquely situated in a park. Great atmosphere. If you are not local then the directions to drive there will be challenging. The staff are energetic and work quickly with a good attitude. All the dishes were well prepared. We would eat there again

Good service, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. The food is really overpriced. Dinner + 2 glasses of wine were over 60€ pp, and we walked out hungry.

Love this spot! Cosy, relaxing, warm service and flavorsome Greek food. Maybe I was skeptical of the Greek-only wine choices, but even they surprised me :) Wonderful to sit outside in summer, but even indoors you feel like you’re in the garden.

Food was really good, especially the saganaki, which were just amazing. Some of us had to wait for our mains for about 10 minutes after others had received theirs, but otherwise the service was flawless.

Food was super good, nice portions, fresh and healthy selection of food. The service was pretty bad, they forgot a lot of our dishes and took so long to make a drink that we had to cancel it. However, the food and atmosphere were suuuuuuuper nice so I would definitely come back even though the service was slightly lacking (also it can happen if it’s a busy day ;)). Recommend if you are in the Oud-West area of Amsterdam.

We visited Ikaria park on Easter Sunday! The atmosphere was great, the staff were super friendly and welcoming! Foivos made our visit even more special! We were treated Easter eggs! There were lamp chops on the menu especially for that day and they were delicious and tender! Everything we ordered was home made and fresh! I recommend this place 100% for someone who wants to enjoy Greek cuisine and hospitality! The place is lovely, especially the outdoors area for a nice sunny day!

Great place to go on a sunny day as their prime seating is outside. All the dishes are good — nice park close by for kids and lots of dogs running around.

Nice beautiful summer tent. Food is good! Staff just have a bit of a 'computer says no' mentality. Everything was supposedly full or reserved so we weren't allowed to sit anywhere, but we saw plenty of empty tables ourselves. Then she gave in and we were allowed to sit somewhere. But the kitchen closed in 20 minutes when we were seated, so we weren't allowed to order anything. After I indicated that we would quickly order something easy, we were still able to eat something. What we got was good.
