The food and aesthetic of it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! The staff is very friendly and considerate. Loved, will come back again. Good place to come with a company, food is mostly “to share” - so you can order few dishes and try all the menu. Love that kind of experience :))) also, make sure you make a reservation. Plenty of place inside and outside :) located in the middle of houses, so cozy

What a wonderful place in the middle of a residential area of ​​one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in Amsterdam! Tasty menu with beautiful dishes prepared with care. Super friendly service. When ordering, we were asked if we wanted to share (which is what we were planning to do) and we were given extra plates and cutlery. Nicely decorated and gender neutral toilets. Gem in the neighborhood! We will definitely come back!

Ate with our family. Service was very friendly and the food came quickly. Good size portions and the food was really delicious! Absolutely recommended place to eat. We were at the branch in the south where they also had toys for children so we could eat in peace.

Good food. Located on a quiet street. We sat outside and got some nice sun. My guy took the beer and the bitterball. I had tonic and gyozas. I was very pleased with my small lunch dish.

Exceptional ambience with very kind and attentive staff. The food was good, however we suggest to order one plate per person (it’s shared dining). We ordered two per person, as recommended, and it was a looot of food. The interior is cool and extra points for nicely designed bathroom. The moctails was great.

The food was very tasty. We sat at the terrace and the waitress was super kind which made a great impression. The dishes were relatively small but we were informed before ordering that the restaurant has an “everything-to-share” system. The risotto was super tasty and same for the bao buns. I think the cauliflower bites were nice but I would change the accompanying dip from soy sauce to something more yogurt-based as soy is quite salty and becomes too much alongside the fried batter. The only thing I didn’t like was the sweet potato mainly because there was some spice, not sure what exactly it was actually but it was giving a very strong smell. I would visit again to also try the brunch.

Overall, food was really tasty but in small portions. All dishes were to share. We ordered the bao bun, broccoli tenders, ribeye, risotto and sweet potato. My favorite dishes were the bao buns and the risotto. Ribeye was very juicy and was accompanied by marmalade which was a great combination. The sweet potato had a strong taste due to spices but was still nice. The staff were very friendly and always came by our desk to ask if we are ok. Price was high in relation to the portions. Place is located in a quiet neighborhood in De Pijp. Would visit again in the future.

We were surprised that a 'Spanish evening', without a dinner menu, was scheduled for Friday evening. Unfortunately, the snacks were of little value, so we moved to another restaurant nearby.

Let me start by saying that the taste of the dishes is delicious. butrrrr..shared dining is a wonderful concept where everyone wants to make a profit it seems...15 euros for 6 pieces of ravioli is really on the meager side even for 1 person. It is then indicated that 3 dishes per person is recommended, but that is no longer shared dining in my eyes...quantity is at least as important as quality and that was really disappointing. unfortunately not again for us

my cousin and I had the BEST experience at Poppy’s <3 the food was amazing, thanks to the coolest cooks in Amsterdam :) I loved the vegan bitterballen and bao buns. highly impressed! the service was also wonderful, the staff made us feel so welcome and became new friends by the end of the night. love this place!

Great tent. Nice meal. I understand the prices. Friendly staff who create a good atmosphere. But boy, what small tables when there are two of you. Absolutely annoying and not guest friendly. What is also certainly unfriendly is the reservation process on the website. Way too "aggressive". On the website it comes across as if you have to beg to get a seat in this "oh so fantastically popular" place. Once inside, it turns out to be just another simple tent in De Pijp. The "pooha" on the website is unnecessary. I'm giving it a 7 for now (because the staff was so good, otherwise it would have been a big 5) but it could be a big 9 if the owner would focus more on substantive matters instead of just blustering on the terrace. There are gains to be made. Perhaps we will visit again, if only in the hope of changing our opinion positively...

Two friends and I met there for a ladies lunch. The waiters were bilingual and so friendly. The food (Caesar sandwich, soup of the day and a banana bread) were all incredibly tasty. I would definitely return to try out the rest of their menu.

All I have to say is... 45 minutes for a sandwich, mine came but my partners didn't, he said there was a problem with our order which he realised 45 minutes later. After ter 15 minutes, an hour after we ordered, my partners sandwich came, I already had eaten of course, cheese not even melted on hers, waiter said sorry, another 10 minutes passed and then it came. The place was 3/4 full as well, not even a full house. If you know that it'll take a long time to make a sandwich, tell the customer, don't say sorry 45 minutes after I ordered, come before. Nobody is perfect but that was a piss take.

I went there with my friend and it was absolutely worth it! The restaurant is small but really pretty and the food was also really good. Overall, we ordered two cups of wine, two dishes, fries on the side, and one desert, and we shared everything as per their concept. The price overall came out to be 58€ in total which was really good considering the amount of food we ordered. The service was also really quick and attentive.

Poppy's is a very cozy restaurant. It feels personal and cozy. The food is really bizarrely delicious, and they also serve it with extra toppings that enhance the taste even more. In a way I've never seen before. During lunch I recommend a toasted rendang, during dinner I recommend all dishes to share with your friends.

Second time we went to Poppys. And same wonderful experience. Cody atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Great food, full of flavors. This time we chose colli flower fritters (amazing), pumpkin risotto (killer dish), rendang (and another one) and ravioli (super smooth). Great selection of wines to go with it. We will be back.

Last Saturday I had dinner at Poppy's with my girlfriend. What a great tent! The food was delicious and the service was also perfect. It is a small cozy restaurant and the atmosphere is very pleasant. The food is delicious and the garnishes are beautifully done. If you are a fan of shared dining, then you must have come here. This restaurant itself is at the top of my list of favorite restaurants. Highly recommended!

Hele mooie zaak! We waren op een rustig moment waardoor we een privé lunch hadden. Het interieur is erg sfeervol wat al meteen een fijn gevoel geeft. Daarnaast is er een diverse kaart, niet al te uitgebreid wat het kiezen net iets makkelijker maakt! Al het eten was super lekker! 🤩 Echt een feestje op tafel! De bediening was vriendelijk en snelle service. Ik zou hier zeker terug komen :)

Schattig tentje wat meer een huiselijk gevoel geeft dan een restaurant. Een verbeterpuntje: servetten, warme borden, menukaart en ontvangst. Complimenten: lekker eten en aardig personeel. Ik ben gegaan omdat ik graag vrouwelijke ondernemers ondersteun en het concept online leuk leek. Uiteindelijk vonden we de cocktails vond ik nogal saai en is het niet echt voor herhaling vatbaar..

Pareltje in dit deel van de Pijp. Heerlijke combinatie van smaken in de gerechten en zeer vriendelijk personeel. Kleine ronde tafeltjes voor mijn gevoel net iets te dicht bij elkaar maar het was erg rustig toen we er waren dus niet een groot probleem. Concept is leuk en de kwaliteit hoog. Echt een aanrader!

gezellig terras waar we gestart zijn met een heerlijke wijn met een portie gyoza. Daarna de gebakken garnalen om de vingers bij af te likken!! bijzonder de zoete en pittige smaak samen...Lekker dippen met een broodje! Daarna verrukkelijk redang met rijst. Als afsluiter de diamant haas. Dat dit Britt haar lievelingseten is kan ik mij goed voorstellen. Het maakt t een beetje lastig om te delen omdat t te lekker is.
