De Grillende Keukenmeiden in Wijk 01 Stadskern

Great vegetarian menu, friendly staff. And delicious desserts! But they use so much polystyrene for takeout that we won't be doing that again. Too much waste, bad for the environment :-( We ate in once, but we got home feeling suffocated because the extractor fan wasn't working (properly). Very unhealthy, even for the staff (!). Now we understand why no one ever sits there. And the name, "Natuurwinkel"? And supposedly organic meat?

Didn't eat. Did have 1 beer for €7 though 😱. Bad acoustics making it hard to understand your conversation partner. Not really that atmospheric.

Read various negative reviews here. We were here yesterday with 6 people but did not experience it that way. We arrived reasonably early and it wasn't that busy yet. Everything was neatly presented and looked fresh and clean. The selection of dishes was very varied. Chefs and staff were very friendly. Empty glasses and plates were quickly cleared from the table. The toilets were also clean. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

Ordered a non-alcoholic cocktail with fresh ginger and orange for €5.90. We received a 20cl bottle of Royal Club Ginger Beer. Purchase price €0.88 …. I understand that sitting on a terrace costs extra, but at least be honest about your product.
