Read various negative reviews here. We were here yesterday with 6 people but did not experience it that way. We arrived reasonably early and it wasn't that busy yet. Everything was neatly presented and looked fresh and clean. The selection of dishes was very varied. Chefs and staff were very friendly. Empty glasses and plates were quickly cleared from the table. The toilets were also clean. Definitely worth a repeat visit!

Fantastic restaurant for children too

Convenient for groups, so you don't have to wait long for your food. Sometimes it can be a bit lonely if everyone keeps leaving the table. Of course, you can chat with each other at the buffets without others around. It's nice that you can taste and eat all sorts of things, so chances are you'll walk out feeling like a stuffed chicken. The chefs who prepare the meals do it well and quickly. The last time I was here, empty plates and such weren't cleared from the table very often. That made it a bit messier than I'm used to. You don't come here for the atmosphere, but that's not what you come for. Nice play areas for the kids, both indoors and outdoors.

The staff was super friendly and welcoming, but the food was really very bad.

The taste of all the food was good. The service was fast and friendly. The chefs really did their best to give everyone attention. We especially loved the tenderloin tips from the teppanyaki. The Heineken draft beer and the house wines were free and the cocktails were not expensive 🍹🍻🍷 The decor wasn't very atmospheric, a bit outdated, but personally we didn't find that bothersome.

The food, atmosphere, etc. are still good, but the prices are rising too fast and the selection is slowly diminishing. And what was a huge disappointment is that the indoor ball pit and slide are gone, and now you have to pay for video game-like junk, so my child keeps whining for tokens and the whole atmosphere gets ruined. And I also find €5 for an ice cream with a fountain (for her birthday) very excessive because ice cream etc. is 'free', so you are only paying for the serving with a fire fountain inside; that is really not OK. It seems like making money is becoming more important than atmosphere and quality now... Let's just look at other alternatives.. June 21, '26: it is getting worse and worse there. Had a wedding party with 24 people (over €1200! VAT), at the end I was charged for number 25 with a drinks package at €24, so I had to 'just' shell out an extra €75 when leaving. But absolutely nothing extra was done, nothing for the bride, not a star to spare, so to speak, no personal attention, no congratulations. NOTHING !!! Moreover, the choice is getting smaller and smaller, the assortment cheaper and cheaper, canned fruit instead of fresh, and side dishes becoming mushy (e.g. rice and noodles). It is really going downhill further and further with this place...

It was super tasty, cozy atmosphere, good staff, and super delicious food, and you could understand each other well when you were talking.

We visited this restaurant with 4 people. We sat down at 19:00. By then, many trays were already empty, as were platters with appetizers and sushi. As the evening progressed, these were NOT refilled either. This is despite the fact that they are open from 17:00 to 22:30. Truly scandalous, especially for the price of 47.50 for 2.5 hours. We did mention it, but I don't know if it will help for the next time. In any case, they will never see us there again!!

Another great evening of delicious food. On Wednesday evenings it is wonderfully quiet with plenty of space to sit; you can choose your dishes after consulting at the counter. Just enjoy yourself if all you can eat is your thing.

We went there for a spontaneous meal, so we are never doing that again. The reception was fine. The table was fine too. But the staff were on their phones so often; one of them apparently felt the need to order an SD card during his shift. The sushi was so hot that I asked if they would make a fresh batch. The answer I got was whether I couldn't choose another one, but eventually he did make it. We were there at 5:15 PM, so you would expect fresh food, but everything already looked quite hardened and dried out. In the end, we went for the wok; then you know it's fresh. By the time they started with dessert, 1.5 hours later, we had a tub of ice cream. The freezer was so full of ice cream, yet it was still warm, so it melted immediately when we took it. In the end, we just left. It's bad that you have to pay 6.20 for a 2-year-old for the 3 chicken nuggets she eats. Furthermore, there wasn't much for children. No; we are never coming here again!

I have been coming here for years, but after today I decided not to return. The food was not fresh or was dry, some areas smelled dirty or were not clean, and the atmosphere was lacking. The staff couldn't even manage a smile. Unfortunately. Even despite many bad reviews, I still gave it a chance, but nothing is being done about the complaints.

Similar restaurants in this segment have long since surpassed this one. While this restaurant still offers post-mix soft drinks, other establishments serve bottled soft drinks and include craft beer. Many dishes were lukewarm and the sushi was of a basic, basic standard. The service is unprofessional. Staff eat behind the bar, and on the terrace, one exhausted employee sat with his shoes off and feet on the table. The maintenance is also substandard. The chocolate fountain was dirty and defective, and several arcade machines in the gaming area were not working. Not recommended; drive a little further towards the Veluwe instead.

I ate here years ago; it was reasonably good back then. On March 28, 2026, I went to eat here again and was shocked by the decline of this restaurant. A very high price for a two-hour meal. There is plenty of choice regarding the food, but everything from the serving trays is lukewarm. The only thing that is even remotely edible is the freshly prepared meat and fish, unless it is cooked through on the grill or griddle. The staff behind the griddle speak little to no Dutch. I enjoyed the cold dishes the most, of which the herring was tasty. Among the desserts, most are factory-made food, ice cream, and chocolate fountains. The desserts that are made fresh are decent. The service stops as soon as you have paid. We sat there for 90 minutes and not once were our used glasses and plates cleared away, so after an hour we just cleaned it up ourselves. The toilets were filthy and had no toilet paper. In short, this is the last time at 22High for us.

In the beginning it was fun, then a staff member came over. I said my blackcurrant juice is hot, he said choke on it. A little later, finally the dessert arrived; it was hot, but it was supposed to be cold. We'll see if I get sick.

My husband and I dined at 22high for the first time. I have celiac disease, so I was a bit nervous, but according to the website, it wouldn't be a problem. Well, I had a truly delicious meal! There was so much to choose from! They prepared things separately to minimize the risk of cross-contamination. I also received a sheet with a description of what was and wasn't allowed for each area, and the staff was very knowledgeable. The staff was very friendly. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the play area consisted mainly of gaming equipment, and actual climbing/clambering wasn't allowed, as the website still states. It's a shame, because that would have made a future visit with our children more enjoyable. Nevertheless, I definitely recommend eating here!

We had made a reservation but we couldn't go to the next one, but otherwise it was fine.

Lots of variety, but nothing really stands out. The flavors were bland, everything lacked bite. Actually, nothing. The sushi was also disappointing. Very sticky. The best part was probably the ice cream. It was quite spacious, but it was also very quiet. We always wanted to go here, but this visit was a one-time thing. All in all, I thought it was too expensive for what you get.

I'll be honest, I had really high expectations, but it was a huge disappointment. We were there on a Wednesday, and it was very quiet. It wasn't exactly delicious, but the food trays weren't full when we arrived. The first round had eight gyozas, and they weren't replenished, not even with a whole lot of other things. We had until 9:00 to eat, but at 8:30 the sushi stand was already clearing out and cleaning! I found that rather strange, because they weren't making any more. I didn't dare try the meat or fish; there was very little meat, and some pieces were even turning green. Otherwise, the food was really good, but it often sat under the lights for too long, which didn't make it any better. I think it's a shame, and we were quite disappointed! However, I do have to say that the service and the bar staff, and I think it was the owner who was there, were very friendly! It wasn't the staff's fault. I think we just had a bad night, food-wise. But I'll be honest and say I think it was a complete waste of money this time!

As usual, we had a delicious meal. This time it was for a colleague's anniversary.

We had Christmas dinner, never had such delicious meat! I really admire how they managed to make sure there was plenty of everything despite the crowds. The staff worked incredibly hard to make it enjoyable for everyone. Everything was delicious, and the wide selection of desserts was also appreciated! 🤩 The only downside was the play area... you have to pay to use a machine, and nothing else is free. It was more like a mini arcade, with lots of broken items and no atmosphere.

We were here for Christmas, so you're already paying extra. No problem if you get extras and not LESS! We were allowed to eat until 10 pm, but by 9 pm everything was already being cleaned and the food trays weren't replenished. The only options were stir-frying and grilling. Also, the chocolate milk machine wasn't working. There was a sign saying "Broken," but under the sign, you could see on the screen that it simply needed refilling. The play area is gone and replaced by an arcade. It's funny that you have to pay for every game, as if you don't earn enough already? Goodbye, child-friendly. The food wasn't great. The tenderloin slices were tough, the tomato soup tasted like pure sugar, the edamame beans were frozen, the mini pancakes were as tough as the tenderloin, and the pizza had the most bitter cheese I've ever had on a pizza. So, 1 star.

Go where the locals go. I'm a local, and for some reason, I've ended up here twice already, more or less forced. I tried the oysters—don't ask me why—and they're safe. One extra star for that.

What a disappointment! The food was awful, reheated, bland, and the hygiene was poor. It was cold, the meat was discolored in the containers, the tiramisu dried out, the vending machine soda had a strange flavor, and the coffee was terrible. A huge disappointment! I'll never go back!

Great restaurant, the food is good, neatly prepared, and quickly. Everything at the wok is halal. For everything else, you have to ask. The door to the outdoor courtyard is used too often by children, so that's not so great when it's cold. And the playroom has now become a mini-game hall. It's become so useless with small children. However, someone was doing face painting, and children receive one coin for the game hall.

A truly beautiful restaurant, spacious, excellent service, knowledgeable staff, beautiful to look at, the food is excellent, plentiful, and the self-service is well-monitored. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back.

22 High. Twenty-two high in Dutch. To my great sorrow, I can't lie, and therefore this restaurant won't get many stars. Although the staff are friendly and the atmosphere cozy (gezellie, for those who speak slang), the food makes all that positive pale. You pay a rib and a kidney for mediocre food, blasé even! The food could be replaced with rubber and ghastliness, and I wouldn't know the difference. I do want to end on a bright note: the dessert bar is a great place to indulge. -Nelson E. Pansears

The steak and shrimp were good but the rest was not. The sushi rice was hard and we felt very sick. We had to throw up afterward. The ice cream was thawed and not tasty. I recommend this a little with certain food, but we won't be coming here again.

There's plenty of choice for everyone. Meat, fish, wok, pizza, lasagna, sushi, tacos, fries, snacks, ice cream, toppings, chocolate fountains, fruit, waffles, cupcakes, various desserts, etc. The dishes are constantly replenished, so the trays are practically never empty. Food is prepared on-site. August 23, 2025 Addition: The indoor play area has been transformed into a complete arcade packed with game machines that, of course, require money, and half of them are broken. One is in front of the other. Not fun for small children. Outside, a real deadtrap staircase to the slides is loose, and rubber tiles are loose and missing from the equipment. Handles on the animals on the merry-go-round are broken or missing, and a dome cover on one of the equipment is missing, which can cause children to fall out. Sharp parts of the climbing frames and a lot of broken glass next to and under the green and red slides. It's a shame that it has deteriorated so much, it seemed like an ideal place for a family with children to eat out.

Helaas wat een slechte ervaring was dit. Weinig keus en veel dingen waren op of leeg. Carpaccio stond naast de koeling en was lauw. Eerst kon je er nog wel lekkere salades en een gevuld eitje krijgen, maar nu??? De tafels plakte en het was er viezig. Drinken zat geen prik op en de koffie was halfvol. Jaren geleden gingen we regelmatig, maar dit is voor ons nooit meer!

first time here to celebrate my sister's bday. I have to admit that they really have a lot of choice here and the quality is also excellent, although with the freshly fried meat section I have had 2 times that the meat was tough (and the other 2 times it was fine). You can try anything and everything, the photos don't lie. Would definitely eat here again (which I will also do to try the other food) ;-) Update 1 year later: This time it was very disappointing, even though we were there at 5 p.m., a lot of the meat tasted as if it had been there all day. The tacos were also old and certainly not fresh. Only the t-bone steak I had tasted delicious, the other meat was tough. In my opinion, the quality of the food is deteriorating enormously.

Food was average , however I think charging €5.80 for two glasses of tap water, was unfair and was not pointed out before ordering there was a charge for it. Won’t be returning again in a hurry.

For this kind of restaurant it is fine if you come with a large group. I can also imagine that you go here with children. Food was all good, not spectacular, but fine to eat. Atmosphere is less, a bit of a food barn vibe but that is of course also the concept. Wide choice of freshly baked fish, meat, vegetables, wok etc., in addition to many hot and cold buffet dishes, sushi and all kinds of desserts and fruit.

It was ok and in the same time nothing really special. We have booked for 2 hours and we were done after an hour. Some meals are very tasty, but overall won't repeat for sure.

Of the all you can eat restaurants I found this a pleasant surprise. Meat and fish were very good. The atmosphere in these types of restaurants is always mediocre. I think that is part of the concept. The only downside was the container in which the serving spoons for the ice cream were placed. It looked so dirty that I suddenly lost my appetite for ice cream.

Great opportunity to go with a larger group, because there is something for everyone. Easy parking. Wheelchair accessible. A bit of a canteen atmosphere, but with good (dining) company you forget that.

In the end it turned out that we had gone over 2 hours and whether we wanted to pay for an extra half hour. The food wasn't spectacular either. I thought we were almost chased away at the end. All in all not a nice experience. Very unfortunate. Next time we will go to a different restaurant. I will not recommend this restaurant to my friends either.

I think I have been coming here for about 10 years, at least 3 to 5 times a year, as a couple, but more often with a group of 12 to 16 people, the first years mainly at A1 and when it was sold at 22high... to my great regret I have to conclude that the quality is visibly declining while the price per person has increased, the latter up to that point, I attribute this to rising wage costs, energy, inflation, etc., mainly the supply, the additions or additions and the quality of the food leaves much to be desired compared to a few years ago, the atmosphere has never been its strongest point, but now it is very austere, not only me but also the people in my immediate environment who have the same opinion, after looking at it for a while, are considering whether we still want to spend our money here

Great restaurant. Lots of variety of food, from sushi to wok. Everything tastes really great, friendly staff. All you can eat including drinks (non alcoholic). Can be restless with several people, because you always have to leave the table to get your food.

Quality price ratio is hard to find. Way too expensive.

To start with, the service was top notch, they neatly picked up your empty plates every time. And were super friendly. There was a photo booth in front where you could take nice pictures. Furthermore, the clean plates were not always clean. Food was lukewarm when it was supposed to be hot and the sushi rice was rock hard. (has been lying around for too long) food often ran out and it took a while before it was replenished. We deliberately chose a restaurant with a children's play corner. And I think the pictures say it all. Hopefully this will be corrected in the future.

22 High in Amersfoort is a nice place. The food was excellent, the space beautiful and the service top notch. Definitely recommended!

Had a delicious meal here. Lots of choice for halal👌🏻. I have a meal plan but I was able to make good responsible choices here. Such as tenderloin vegetables. Next time for me I won't eat a filled waffle. Because I couldn't eat anything after that and the dessert buffet had many tasty choices. Definitely worth repeating. I was there around 8:00 PM so almost no queues on a Sunday evening.

The three of us had dinner here on Christmas Day. I had made a reservation for 2.5 hours. When we arrived at the restaurant we had to wait in a long line. Slowly we finally arrived at the reception hall. I showed my reservation and gave the parking ticket. We walked to our table and after about 5 minutes we got up to choose a plate. Unfortunately there wasn't much choice. I also noticed that it was extremely dirty, all the food was left scattered by guests on the counter, floor and in the food. So sad and nasty. Furthermore, many things were empty or equipment was defective. I know this is not 7 Continents and they will never reach that level, but we will never choose to eat here again. We got a 1.50 discount on parking and then we had to pay another 4 euros. All in all we spent 165.50 for 3 people. Way too expensive for junk.

Went here for the first time on December 30, 2024 and it was also the last time. With the exception of my 7-year-old son, the rest of us got the stomach flu.

Friendly staff, ample parking. Parking is very expensive. Paid 13 euros. The food is tasty, but less extensive than other world cuisines such as Atlantis in Almere. Less busy than other all you can eat restaurants and I really liked that

Sadly very disappointed in this establishment. The quality of the food was poor and tasted cheap (rubbery chicken for example), basic things like nasi and noodles were not replenished after I asked, and they clearly couldn't handle the Christmas crowds. Price/quality really out of proportion. The icing on the cake is a stomach ache in the evening. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Oké ook voor moeilijke eters. Er is genoeg variatie voor iedereen. Wereld restaurant is niet de juiste benaming. Het restaurant is all you can eat chinees met soep wok en snackbar snacks. Dit is een echte vreetschuur! Het enige wat echt van hoge kwaliteit was was de krokante pekingeend en buikspek met daarbij behorende sausen. Echt heerlijk. De rest was matig tot voldoende. Goed om te eten als je bent uitgehongerd maar niet voor gezellig tafelen.

What a terrible restaurant, I went here for a birthday. It's quite expensive for an all you can eat, but if it was still good... There was very little choice even though there were a lot of tables and it is a large restaurant, so many more people than eating. I couldn't find a clean plate or clean glass, everything was greasy and had stains. I had severe food poisoning yesterday, I couldn't keep anything down all day. This is really a waste of my money and weekend. Don't go to 22high unless you want to pay a lot of money for food poisoning.
