The food was fine, but service could really be a bit friendlier and better. One waitress doesn't even answer when you ask her something, she just walks away without saying anything (several times). I ask the other person if she can pack the remaining food for us to take home, to which she says "yes, that is possible", after which I clearly indicate which food can be packed and which can go, and then throw all the food away?? Then we get a “yes, apologies, she didn't hear it”. Very strange behavior and unnecessary food wasted (2 full plates of fries and a stick of satay). The third waitress who took the order was capable.

We just finished our dinner here and we are not satisfied. I had a chocolate milkshake and it didn't have a chocolate flavor, more of an Oreo flavor. This is not what I ordered. My wife ordered a salad and it was delicious. We also had a portion of bitterballen, 1 bitterbal already had sauce on the bottom... how is this possible, is it left over from another table? Asked waitress for clarification, she could not give a clear answer. So sent back to the kitchen. According to the menu, the bitterballen should include mayonnaise and mustard. However, it came with mayonnaise and curry. Where's the mustard? We then walked to the kitchen and received two bags of mustard. Three mistakes in 1 dinner is unacceptable and certainly not for that price. “”” Response to the reaction of the green butterfly, lining up the story about bitterballen... unfortunately your story is not correct, there was only a bitterballen with sauce and nothing was lined up. Besides, I don't want sauce for my bitterballen but mustard and unfortunately that was not provided.

On April 29 at 12:30 PM I ordered fries with satay sauce at De Groene Vlinder. When ordering, I clearly indicated that I wanted to eat it on the spot — a normal, clear statement. Yet the employee (brown straight hair, small goatee) immediately started packing the fries. When I pointed out to him that I had said I wanted to eat it here, he responded irritatedly with: "I can't smell that you want to eat it here, can I?" A completely inappropriate response. How is it possible for an employee to speak like that to a paying customer? Customers ensure that your business keeps running. A basic level of customer service should be self-evident. Two other customers present were audibly surprised by his tone. One said: “Not normal how he is acting,” the other called it “ridiculous.” Their responses confirmed that this was not an incident I was imagining. The fries themselves were fine, but the atmosphere and attitude were so unfriendly that I decided never to come back here again. A place that lacks hospitality does not deserve a repeat visit — no matter how good the food is.

The service was not very good. When we arrived, the table was not clean, but the waitress felt it necessary to continue cleaning the menus. At checkout the same waitress was talking and I was completely ignored.

Mijn man en ik kwamen lunchen, het was nog vroeg en helemaal niet druk. Drinken werd opgenomen maar er werd niet gevraagd of we lunch wilden bestellen. We kregen ook geen contact met de medewerkers waardoor we uiteindelijk maar met een QR code besteld hebben. Vinden wij niet prettig, voor de restaurant ervaring zien wij liever iemand aan onze tafel de bestelling opnemen, is gezelliger. Het eten werd gebracht, er werd daarna niet gevraagd of het naar wens was, ook niet of we nog wat wilden drinken. Bij het afrekenen werd niet gevraagd of het naar wens was geweest, enkel het bedrag wat betaald moest worden. Dat is geen service naar je betalende klant.

Great terrace, but pricey and small portions.

Heerlijk gegeten met klein dochter. Vriendelijke bediening. Gezellig om voor een betaalbare prijs te luchen of te dineren. Leuk keuze menu.

Gereserveerd. Vriendelijk ontvangst door goed gekleed personeel. Menu’s gekozen met steppengras. Werden allen afzonderlijk op juiste wijze opgediend. Heerlijk gegeten en nodig drankje erbij. Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Schoon sanitair. Gratis parkeren.

Mijn vrouw en dochter hadden Steppegras gegeten waar ze heerlijk van gesmuld hadden. Ik daarintegen had Spareribs die heel erg tegenvielen, totaal niet gemarineerd. Nadat de, overigens zeer aardige, serveerster min bord meegenomen waar ze er toch iets saus op hebben gesmeerd. Maar ook dit smaakte niet echt lekker, dus ik heb van de twee halve Spareribs er maar eentje opgegeten.Dus nooit meer Spareribs voor mij hier.

The snacks are tasty, but the staff is very disinterested. Glasses are poorly rinsed so I immediately had a cold sore. Bar staff are very grumpy. A shame about such a nice accommodation... What a shame that there is always a sneer after a negative review. Typical response from a gumball joint with a manager with little knowledge of good catering. You can learn something from negative reactions. And, my cold sore was there after three days 😊

Food is good here but service is not. Was there yesterday and asked if 1 parasol could be opened, because I was with my 1.5 year old niece and didn't want her to get sunburned. No was the answer because then people will grumble.. I asked for 1 parasol, not all but no I had to sit inside. Very bad and not expected!!

Which snack bar closes at 5pm for takeaway food? That's when dinner time starts. Really bad. I used to go there for the burgers.

Very bad, food cold, wrong sauces, had to ask 3 times for ordered mayonnaise. Poffertjes for the children are the last to be served on the table. The Green Butterfly was a top but is continuing to decline.

Er was een actie met een tijdslot van 17.00 tot 19.00 en van 19.00 tot 21.00. we kregen ons eten pas rond 18.00 uur en daardoor was de tijd vrij kort en werd er al afgeruimd terwijl er nog iemand van het gezelschap aan eten was .

Had a wonderful evening at the Groene Vlinder. Food was great! Nice and hot, neatly served on a plate and service was friendly. We come here regularly and after 7 years it is still a good brasserie.

We hebben heerlijk gegeten in een gezellige omgeving met vriendelijke, attente medewerkers. Het ‘steppegras’ was een heerlijke ervaring en de kipsaté hadden we nooit eerder zo als gegeten. De maaltijd was helemaal af met aantrekkelijk geserveerde bijgerechten. Deze overdaad schaadde niet maar smaakte heerlijk!

Deze plek is goed voor een snelle hap als je wat minder tijd hebt en toch lekker en ongedwongen wilt eten. De bediening is vriendelijk aanwezig. De prijs betaalbaar. De borden zijn goed netjes opgemaakt en goed gevuld.

Ik had gevraagd om een glutenvrij broodje carpaccio. Ook aangegeven dat ik allergisch was. Op het moment dat mijn beste vriendin haar broodje kreeg, kreeg ik een normaal broodje. Netjes aangegeven dat dit niet ging omdat ik hier heel ziek van word. Met veel zuchten en steunen kreeg ik uiteindelijk een nieuw broodje. Toen mijn beste vriendin haar broodje op had kwam die van mij. En voor alsnog is er iets niet goed gegaan. Ik ben die avond alsnog ziek geworden. Allergieën en intoleranties worden niet serieus genomen

Fish soup was very tasty, prawns/shrimp also very tasty. Hamburger was okay, but a good hamburger is so and so nowhere to be found, even outside the Netherlands, not always, at others you still get frozen hamburger meat from the supermarket. Beer was very tasty, good range, they even have La Trappe bok beer on tap. Service was good and fast, atmosphere quiet and neat, cozy.

Today I had dinner at De Groene Vlinder with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday. I personally like concept steppe grass more than it tastes good, so I went for the pork tenderloin with brie, bacon and vegetables. Very nicely prepared and nicely cooked, the bacon was also well done. The brie could have been a little more melted in my opinion. My girlfriend went for the butterfly burger, also a beautiful plate and very tasty. Actually we had already eaten enough, but we found the Bastogne tower very attractive, so we ordered 1 with 2 forks (the friendly waitress thought it was romantic, we especially practical 😉.) Well we didn't regret it, what a delicious dessert, beautifully served too. Staff super nice and well groomed! Kid so stiff, nice and loose in handling. We had a great dinner, if only it was our birthday again😉

Vriendelijk personeel. En op zich een mooie locatie. Helaas is het snackbargedeelte al om 5 uur gesloten want welke idioot eet er ook friet na 5 uur. De enige remedie was toch maar te eten in de cafetaria. Aldaar steppegras besteld omdat ik van dunne frietjes houdt. Helaas was dit een grote teleurstelling. De friet is zo hard dat het meer van een zakje chips wegheeft van 80 cent bij de appie heijn. Er ligt ook zo veel op je bord dat je niet normaal kunt eten. Om een plaatselijke burgeroorlog te voorkomen ben ik maar heel snel weggegaan. 1 keer nooit meer. Nogmaals niks aan te merken op het personeel. Maar steppegras zou verplicht met een waarschuwing moeten komen: let op steppegras smaakt naar chips. De groeten.

Mooi terras op een mooie plek midden op het winkel centrum. Drankjes voor een gemiddelde prijs maar verder prima. De teleurstelling zat hem in het eten. Ik begrijp dat je van een veredelde friettent geen culinaire hoogstandjes mag verwachten maar als ik voor 21,50euro een vispannetje bestel verwacht ik in de vissaus ook wat vis aan te treffen. Ik ben 3 garnalen en een stukje witvis tegen gekomen en dit ook aangegeven bij de bediening op het terras. Hier wordt op gereageerd met een toon van waar zeur je over. Vervolgens heb ik met het afrekenen gezegd niet te willen betalen voor het vispannetje. Na wat discussie werdt het uiteindelijk van de rekening afgetrokken ik kreeg wat ik veel belangrijker vond totaal niet de indruk dat mijn klacht serieus genomen wordt. Erg jammer. Ik ga mijn geld de volgende keer liever ergens anders uitgeven.

I ordered the spare ribs and was very satisfied with them! The meat was super tender it fell off the bone, and it was cooked perfectly. There were a lot of vegetables on it, but that is very often. There was also a bit too much chili sauce on it. For desert I had a dame blanche, which I was also very satisfied with. The service could be a little better. It takes a long time until they come to take your order, although this is logical because it is very full. They are also very friendly! The atmosphere is good. However, there are many young people who cause nuisance, and the green butterfly itself cannot do anything about this, of course, because there are young people in every shopping center. Terrace is large for a brasserie. I've never had any complaints about the food. All in all it is a TOP place to eat. Definitely worth repeating

After a previous bad experience, I gave it another chance. Regret! The quality of the food is far below par. The tomato in my salad was moldy. The salad sauce came from a bag, tasted very chemically. The other vegetables in the salad consisted of a handful of greens, canned baby corn and a piece of carrot and red cabbage seasoned in a strange way. There was no balance or flavor to the salad whatsoever. The mayonnaise with the fries had a strange sweet taste. And the new dish Steppegras was not normally edible. The Steppegras fries are so fine that you can't get them stuck on your fork. I got my steak with mushrooms under a layer of Steppegrass fries. The mountain of fries was so big that my steak was invisible. A portion for at least 3 people. I had to ask for an extra plate to remove 2/3 of the fries from my plate so that I had room to cut my steak and see what was actually underneath the fries. The steak was tough and lukewarm. The owner was kind enough to apologize to us and give us a discount because of the moldy tomato. But that doesn't make up for the quality of the food. I don't understand why this place is still running. Simple dishes come out of the kitchen cold and ruined. Please hire a real chef who knows what he is doing!

First menu was hamburger. It was clearly cold, probably partly because a lot of lettuce had been used. But perhaps also because it was prepared in just a little too much haste. Fries were greasy. Second menu was steppe pork tenderloin. A huge amount of salt was used on these fries. Bah! Pork tenderloin had an aftertaste. Pork tenderloin was also undercooked. It was very inconvenient to eat due to the large amount of fries, but that is perhaps part of this menu. We communicated that we were disappointed and why; really not tasty; not to be repeated. The next evening I had a stomach ache and was nauseous with belching and I clearly tasted that French fry taste again. Quite possible that in this case things didn't go completely well in the kitchen, I don't know. We find the menu sparse.

Gezelligheid! Er hangt een warme, uitnodigende sfeer en ik word altijd vriendelijk begroet. Het personeel is goedlachs, attent en vrolijk. Ik kom er echter met name voor het eten. Het uitproberen van nieuwe gerechten en concepten is iets wat mij enorm aanspreekt. Ik varieer daarom zoveel mogelijk in mijn keuzes, zodat ik alles van de kaart een keer geproefd heb. Al laat ik me ook nog vaak verleiden tot Steppegras of de onbeperkte Ribs & Sate. Heerlijk! De eigenaar geeft mij altijd het gevoel dat we goede vrienden zijn. Ik kan deze brasserie ten zeerste aanbevelen aan iedereen die op zoek is naar een gezellige zit, met lekker eten en een attente service. Ik zit er dan ook wekelijks.

Onwijs lekker geluncht met een vriendin! Een ruime keuze uit verschillende gerechten waardoor het voor ons moeilijk was om een keuze te maken uit al dat lekkers. De gerechten die wij kregen zagen er netjes uit, en het bedieningspersoneel was erg vriendelijk en meedenkend!

Ordered food for 3 people. What a disappointment. Fries and snacks were almost cold. We were only allowed to pay for the extra satay sauce ordered but not to eat it. Belse satay was incredibly salty and really unedible. There was only 25 minutes between ordering and delivery, so I really don't understand why you get lukewarm/cold food.

I have ordered online at least 20 times, and I always write comments to check the order, because something always goes wrong! Can call again and again that something is missing or that it is not right. Since it is located there at T Reeshof Park it has been a big misery. We will never order from there again.

Tip: Bestel je friet met de saus apart of onderop. Zo voorkom je dat je soep krijgt met enkele drijvende aardappelcroutons. Het eten is prima, maar de hoeveelheid saus is echt te veel, waardoor de helft van de friet niet eetbaar meer was. Eten in de brasserie is altijd oke. Mooie grote borden. Nu nog het verschil leren tussen friet en soep.

Relaxte sfeer, komen hier graag om samen even een kopje koffie met lekkers te doen.
