Ma Cherie in Hoogvenne

Doesn't pay the staff and sits on the terrace drinking as the owner. Extremely poor work atmosphere.

Booked on Saturday evening with a group. The reservation was confirmed in advance by Ma Cherie. Upon arrival the business was closed. We have not received any notice of this. We also received no response by telephone. Very annoying if you are standing in front of a closed door with a group and have to arrange something else on the spot.

What a disgrace! We've been here before. But now it seems Ma Cherie's end is nigh, because if you treat your customers the way you treated us on this Saturday night. We had made a reservation. Upon arrival, many tables were empty but hadn't been cleared. We couldn't order from the dinner menu on their website; we should have mentioned that when we made our reservation, because that's what we came for. The menu no longer exists, but there are all sorts of tapas. Service is incredibly slow and not customer-focused. The oven-baked brie came without cutlery. The bread roll didn't have any salt. They showed no interest in giving us a good experience. So much more went wrong. To our utter amazement, she acknowledged this herself at the end with an apology, but what good is that after the event? It's just a matter of time. So, never again. I also saw other customers go inside and get their own wine. The terrace was also filthy. Too bad Ma Cherie, never again for us.

We had a wine tasting. The wines were fantastic, and so were the dishes! It was quite busy for the owner (all alone), but she handled that incredibly well!

First of all the atmosphere! Sublime!!!! Always a warm welcome feeling when you come to ma cherié. They do everything to give you a wonderful cozy tasteful evening! Also enjoying the afternoon outside at the Piushaven is so cozy, feels like a vacation. You can't get us away from the fine MaCherie.

Today we went to Ma Chérie for the first time and we were absolutely thrilled! The service was extremely friendly and the wine was excellent. What we really loved was that we could create our own cheese board. The quality of the food was outstanding. We will definitely be back!

The owner is incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful. Hopefully, she'll recover from her illness soon and be back at it again. She recommended an Israeli wine (based on my preferences) that was surprisingly delicious. The dishes complement the wines perfectly. Lovely terrace by the water. Highly recommended.

Booked for an occasion with family. Because I happened to visit the website to look at the menu, the place appeared to be closed that day. No message received about that. Tried to contact them, no answer. My guests were supposed to arrive in a few hours. Completely stressed, because where can I find a table for Saturday night at such short notice? There you are. Fortunately, we were very hospitably received at another catering establishment. And we still enjoyed a wonderful evening.

Awesome!! Really enjoyed the delicious dishes and good wines. Friendly service who can tell you everything about the wines. Highly recommended! 🍷

The wine tasting is highly recommended! The owner is very knowledgeable, and you learn a lot about the wine! The dish (Karage) is also really delicious!

Considering the location of the place and the fact that surrounding businesses (including this one) are constantly going bankrupt, I expected them to make a better impression. However, the hostess was rather unfriendly, and the appetizers were nothing special (with mold on the non-mold cheese). We could have just as easily picked them up at the Albert Heijn around the corner and "thrown" them onto a plate. When we asked if our order had been okay, when we still hadn't received our cold appetizers after 40 minutes, the hostess reacted quite offended. Unfortunately, there's nothing special here except for the delicious wine and the view.

The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable, which immediately makes the experience a little more special. The wine selection is impressive and carefully selected. The food is sublime and perfectly complements the wines. The cheese boards and charcuterie are of top quality, with refined flavors that pair beautifully with the wines. The small dishes, such as the bruschetta and the truffle risotto, are excellent and demonstrate great culinary expertise. Whether you come for a romantic evening, a nice drink with friends, or just to relax after a long day, Wijnbar Ma Cherie offers an unforgettable experience. After calling 8 times and emailing twice, we finally managed to make a reservation. When we arrived on the reserved day and time (Mother's Day), the tent suddenly turned out to be closed due to circumstances. It seems logical to me that you would then cancel your reservations! Scandalous..

Heb een leuke avond gehad met heerlijke gerechten en mooie bijpassende wijnen!

Personeel heeft zeer veel kennis en kan je van alles vertellen over de vele wijnen. Het eten was ook buitengewoon goed. Echt een aanrader

Apparently a training restaurant. The 4 of us spend almost 500 and are told that we have nothing to complain about... They are allowed to make mistakes and we have to compensate for that. Pay 1.50 extra because the cook forgets the most important ingredients of the 3... Service is poor, knowledge is lacking and the owner is not suitable for the catering industry. I am the number 1 sponsor of the catering industry in Tilburg (certainly Piushaven) but never again at Ma Cherie. On to the next!

First time to this wine bar. Good wines and tasty food. The chef was very friendly. 1 wine on the menu had run out, but he had a good alternative. It's a shame about the dirty looking glasses (water stains) and the somewhat rude waitress who was curling her hair with a curling iron in the shop. Other guests had to walk over to ask if they could order something. Watched it with amazement. Detracts from the impression of such a place.

Heerlijk gegeten en heerlijke wijnen! Daarnaast erg vriendelijk personeel en een leuke eigenaresse wie de tijd nam voor een leuk en persoonlijk praatje aan tafel. Zeker aan te raden!

Delicious food and very good wine

I expected more from a wine bar that had not been opened for so long. It would be nice to have a chat, or tell us something about the menu and the wines. Maybe we just met you on a somewhat bad evening!

Been here twice and both times fantastic! The bottle we had selected was not in stock, so we got a more premium bottle. Service!

Heerlijk! Super lekkere wijn en hele gezellige sfeer

100 jaar bestaan van de Piushaven vandaag, het is erg slecht weer, maar we konden droog op het terras zitten we hebben een coca cola en een witte wijn besteld, bij het afrekenen moeten we maar liefst €9.00 betalen, €3.50 voor de cola en €6.50 voor de witte wijn, wat een prijzen zeg, en dan zit het ook nog in plastic🤪.Dit gaat echt nergens meer over. Gisteren met mijn zoon geweest. Echt een aanrader, enorme keus aan wijnen, heerlijk eten, sfeer is goed, erg vriendelijk!
