Delicious, large portions and excellent value for money. With 1 starter and 1 main, 2 eat perfectly. Variety of vegan dishes, also gluten-free options. I will definitely repeat as soon as I can😍

Tasty sandwiches, ready quickly and I've never had bad quality here.

The tjauwmin is very dry and is not easy to eat. The moksi meti is very tasty and good.

5 balls for this fantastic establishment! If you have a special diet... my Anne-Marie could eat everything there! (Except for the tables and staff, my Annie is not crazy) No snacks, no meat and no dairy. De Kade, see you very soon! If we ever dare to go to Rotterdam again. You should never rule it out, but it would be better if you did.

Saoto there spang man. Combination with that dawet pfff killer.. Definitely worthy of 5 stars, especially during the autumn days

The saoto soup is always delicious and filling. The salt and pepper chicken is a winner, nice and spicy and lots of fresh peppers and onions. I enjoy lunch here, fast and very friendly service.

For all Muslims who want to eat there, it is not halal! NB! Because I have seen with my own eyes that the chicken they order halal is literally chopped with the same chopping knife and chopping board with which the pork is chopped and served!! So 100 percent no longer halal!

BEST place in Rotterdam for food from all the different cultures you find along Kruiskade, gezellig, friendly and warm staff, and LOVE their Caribbean-style fried rice, johnny cake, saoto soep, etc. the atmosphere also has a je ne sais quoi that speaks to my roots, also great for takeout!

They are creative, innovative and cooperative~ add to that am so hella god damn lucky to live this life just to see that Great Great Great old senior man and they are so supportive may god bless everyone who’s working so hard just to please their customers in that kitchen!

I'm normally a fan of Kade, but I had a roti roll with chicken for 13 euros, which I think is already very expensive. This had very little chicken, little long beans and very little flavor. For 13 euros I'm disappointed with this.

Staff is friendly and service-oriented.

Waited a long time to be helped. There were six of us. The large shrimp in sweet and sour sauce looked delicious, but the batter surrounding it was like bubble gum, elastic and almost no flavor.

Tonight I really ate the worst roti in years. A roti dish should contain curry, but I couldn't discover it here, it was a Chinese sauce for the roti plate. No long beans, the roti place was not filled with peas. It really didn't taste like anything. I would take this dish off the menu if you don't know how to prepare it.

We went there hungry, we left super filled with AWESOME FOOD, it was super tasty. The Meat dishes were amazing, the vegan chicken dish was also great! The vegan/vegetarian Menu is the same size as the "normal" one. I also had the Carrot Cake, which tasted like Christmas!

Quick service, sandwiches and baras are delicious

Had a group of 8 people and we let the server choose the dishes to serve and it was amazing. Every starter and entree was great. Price at the end was very reasonable.

Ridiculously small portion of fries for 6 euros. Service was bad. We had to try three times to order until someone came who didn't feel like helping us at all. This is very mediocre.

We wanted to have some Surinamese food while visiting the Netherlands, and spotted this restaurant. The pom and kerrie kipfilet were both absolutely fabulous - generous portions, friendly staff and swift service. Really impressed!

Wednesday evening, 🕗 o'clock, dinner for a change at De Kade, and where there is a moksimetie, order a Red Bull drink, while my Nicaraguan Collective Labor Agreement takes a moment of rest.

Have dined here multiple times, keeps getting better with each visit. Always positive vibes, nice music and atmosphere, friendly and professional service and amazing food with wine pairing. Must visit in The Hague

Friendly staff, delicious food and fast service. Nice city atmosphere. Very suitable for both eating and picking up. A winner.

Bought sate ku batata for 15 euros. Potatoes were burnt and chicken satay was dry. Sauce watery.

Saw a huge line out the door so almost avoided the place. But on closer inspection, we realized it was locals getting food to go for their lunch. We bypassed the line and were seated and had a lovely lunch. Nasi Goring, Lumpia, and wonton soup. Excellent service and the food was extremely flavorful!

I've been coming here since 2022 and in my opinion these are the tastiest sandwiches you can get in the city. The staff is also very friendly. I will come here many more times!

I don't know if it's their sambal or if the bread wasn't fresh, but it made me sick the next morning at work 🥴 I was vomiting and had diarrhea They work with gloves, which is fine, but with those same gloves they also take money and they also make your sandwich. Damn unhygienic 😓

The kung pao "chicken" (lions mane mushrooms) was delicious, the portions were ample (one dish of rice is plenty to share between two), and while the service was brisk, if not brusque, we were seated quickly.

Normally I never post reviews, but De Kade has helped me out of a crisis time and time again. Broke after going out and don't feel like cooking anything? I order here. No time to cook for a while due to... exams? I order here. Haven't done any shopping and don't feel like going outside? I order here. I've never been to the restaurant itself, but the food is always bussing. The food arrives hot and faster than the first time indicated in the Uber Eats app. An entire 5-course menu at my door within 30 minutes? Now come on. The portions they always give let you know that their heart is in the right place. How does De Kade manage to keep those cravings alive? Day and night I dream about this place and I have never been there. Be careful when ordering before you become addicted yourself!

Really good portion for food and I would say it’s considered authentic! We ordered koe lou yok and moksie metie, both came with such huge portion of rice too. In the end we have to takeaway for another meals because we were full. Moksie metie is surinamese style of charsiew, siew yok, roasted chicken and pork sausage altogether, usually comes with sauce and vege, not served dry like the usual asian ones.

I have been very disappointed lately, but I still came back because I had hope that things would get better. Nasi with roasted chicken was really tasteless and when I saw the bara I just had to laugh, so sad. No more authentic bara like before... I give you 2 stars because you are always friendly... I really hope that the quality of the food will improve soon, because it has been really crap for a while now, I just feel cheated because it is also quite pricey is and I was willing to do it, but after this time no more... Good luck...

Tasty sandwiches but not many vegetables with the sandwich

Incredible & authentic Asian food, plenty of vegetarian & vegan options - very much recommending Chinese dishes, very tasty. Service was very friendly too.

Bestel eten bij de oudere heer, die daar werkt. De mevrouw, die daar werkt, beheerst geen Nederlands. Je bestelt garnalen... brengt ze kip, omdat ze geen Nederlands begrijpt. Ondertussen doet ze alsof ze heel goed Nederlands spreekt. Pff

Excellent Food. Funny thing is we came in here to try Surinamese Food, not realizing that it was primarily Cantonese Food! However, we did enjoy the meal very much. A family next to us gave us suggestions on what to order. What also turned out to be funny, was that we realized when we were eating that some of the hired help spoke Cantonese! We then spoke to our server, and he said "How come you didn't speak Cantonese to us earlier?" Meal was very good

Lekker Surinaams/Chinees gegeten. Goede service. Alleen aan de luidruchtige kant qua communicatie van het personeel. Ben hier twee keertjes wezen eten, lunch en diner.

Heel vriendelijk personeel en lekker eten. Ideaal voor vegan- en vleeseters. Er is namelijk een apart vega/vegan menu, waarbij de meeste vega opties ook vegan kunnen worden gemaakt. Erg genoten van de vegan broodjes kip, bitterballen, nasi met vegan kip en sate.

Open keuken. Hard werkend personeel en veel vega opties. Beste Chinees van Rotterdam? In ieder geval een van onze favo plekken in R'dam.

Weinig eten, hoge prijzen. Plantaardige melk in koffie is +1 euro Bediening vriendelijk, en kaart alles in Engels. Teleurstelling. Ik kom hier niet meer.

Heerlijk broodje vegan kip-kerrie. Het was superdruk maar snel geholpen.

Heerlijk gegeten, veel keuze op de menu er is lekker eten voor iedereen. Of je nou vlees, vis of vegan wilt. Naast het heerlijke menu, wordt er ook nog is een top service gegeven. Vriendelijke en hardwerkende serveersters. Zeker een aanrader!

I like the food here, it is delicious there are multiple options are quite a lot. There are Surinamese and Asian options.

Snel geholpen, service krijgt een voldoende. Ben een fan van de rotirol en haal het overal en nergens..Ben hier voor het eerst geweest.Sorry maar een rotirol haal ik hier echt nooit meer!!! Had driekwart roti op en alleen een stukje vegakip en voor de rest alleen aardappelen geproefd. Laatste kwart de kouseband (smaakte echt niet lekker) en nog een stukje vega kip. Wist niet eens dat het mogelijk was dit gerecht zo te verpesten,maar vind het schandalig dat dit zo aan mij verkocht is.

Food is excellent here specially if you are vegetarian. Lot of variety in substitute meat. Portions as well as taste was good.

Smaken zijn vlak maar wel ok. De sfeer en service zijn vlot en zoals je van een toko verwacht.

Heerlijk gegeten weer, lekkere Tjauw Min Moxi, tijd niet gegeten dan smaakt het ouderwets lekker. Grote porties, veel vlees en heerlijk wok gebakken bami wat zo een heerlijke smaak geeft. Bedankt weer guys👍

Waren denk ik veel te laat daar gaan eten(21.15 uur) want eten had weinig smaak en was snel afgekoeld. Sfeer was ook niet je van t het.

Dit is een uitstekende plek voor vegetariërs en veganisten. Er waren meer dan voldoende opties, en alles zag er lekker uit! Wij kozen voor een vegan eend-gerecht, roti en plantain met pindasaus, geserveerd met witte rijst en platbrood. Alles heeft ons zeer goed gesmaakt, van het kokoswater tot de pikante saus. We werden zeer vriendelijk bediend. Hier kom ik met plezier terug wanneer ik Rotterdam nog eens bezoek. Een absolute aanrader!

Een echt typisch Aziatisch tentje. Vriendelijke bedienig, klein en ongezellig restaurant, maar wow wat een lekkere gerechten!!! Ik had als hoofdgerecht de pruikzwam in gong bao saus. Mijn vriendin veggie chicken in curry. Pikante soep vooraf. Echt alles subliem! Wat lekker. En vers. Zeker als vegetariër wordt je hier gelukkig. Volgende keer in Rotterdam staat dit zeker op de planning...

Heerlijk eten super alles is lekker echt een aanrader je kan alle kanten op met of zonder vlees het is allemaal lekker ik ga er zeker weer eten halen heerlijk 😁
