Had a delicious meal at the Kloosterkeuken. Atmosphere is very good as well as the service! You can tell from everything that the staff enjoys their work, real professionals. The food was of a high quality. Highly recommended!

The monastery kitchen has been around for almost 25 years. That in itself is special, because it remains my favorite restaurant in Haarlem. Atmospheric location, incredibly friendly staff and good food at reasonable prices. Cheers!

We had dinner here tonight in a very cozy location. The service was very good and friendly. Although my wife speaks little Dutch and not everyone in the restaurant speaks English, they did their very best to be helpful to us. The ethos of this restaurant is fantastic. The food was excellent and one of the best dinners we have ever eaten. Definitely recommended and we will definitely come back.

Wonderful place to work and eat

Celebrated my 30th birthday here and it was a wonderful experience. The service was friendly and really tried their best, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy, with good acoustics. The food was beautifully prepared and tasted delicious. Definitely recommended for a special evening!

This is the best meal I have ever had during my whole trip in Netherlands. I ordered 4 courses chef’s menu. The food was quite decent and their service was fantastic. This dinner drew my night to a perfect ending. What an unforgettable dining experience! I will definitely come back again on my next visit. Upon entering you hear beautiful church music as you enter, which does justice to the atmosphere. When you arrive at the restaurant, your coat will be accepted. We had the 4 course dinner plus the cheese board, all of which were very good. Service was top notch. This is highly recommended

You have a 3 course menu where you can choose your dish for each course. The food was delicious, the location was very beautiful and the atmosphere was pleasant. Also a lot of choice of drinks, great. After the renovation it has a sleek appearance and yet it has retained its authentic atmosphere. With church music in the toilet.

Beautiful new attractive interior. We ate a 5 course menu and the dishes were tasty and nicely presented on beautiful plates. Amuse and non-alcoholic cocktail were delicious. The students in the service do their best and are friendly. Explanation about the cheeses by Janno was good. We had a nice evening and would like to come back again to dine on the terrace in the courtyard .

We had a delicious meal here as a team working in psychiatry. What a good concept and a very special atmosphere. The food was excellent and definitely worth repeating!

Quite a unique venue, excellent food, reasonably priced with super friendly service.

Het gezellige deel van dit bijzondere leerweg restaurant was helaas volgeboekt. De andere eetruimte waar wij plaats mochten nemen was gezellig ingericht met allerlei ouderwets keukengebeuren. Helaas was de ruimte een beetje geluidruchtig en ook was het lastig warm te krijgen. Wij kregen de wijn en menukaart aangereikt en een prettig grote karaf kraanwater met schijfjes citroen werd op onze tafel gezet, ik word van goed gastheerschap altijd blij. Het was lastig een keuze maken, elke gang bestond uit 5 totaal verschillende gerechten, de 1 nog spannender dan de andere. Partner ging voor ibericoham, gamba en salade, voor mij een heerlijke knapperige loempia, paddestoelen, geit, rauwkost en gembersaus, een juweeltje van zaligheid. De hoofd, weer lastig kiezen, vrind ging voor de Black angus steak, helaas heel erg taai , ik voor de net iets te gare hertenbout. De bijgerechten waren goed gekozen, de oa heerlijke zelfgemaakte bearnaise, prima frieten, mijn gerecht vond ik ruim voldoende, mijn partner had zo zijn twijfels. Het toetje was deze keer, het was de derde keer dat wij hier dineerden verkeerd gekozen door ons. De pure chocolademousse erg simpel met erbij stroopwafel en banaancompote, Een ijsje erbij had het gecompleteerd , mijn toet, de appelkroket met calvadosparfait en marsepein schoot bij mij in t verkeerde keelgat. Wellicht zou n zoete korst t beter doen dan het hartige omhulsel. Ook hier zou een sorbetijsje op zijn plaats zijn. De gekozen fles rode wijn ,een navarro van de duero , tempranillodruif, hield zich goed staande, kortom een wisselende eetervaring deze keer.

Een erg sfeervol restaurant met plezierige bediening. Niet groot, Heerlijk om een keertje lekker te gaan eten. Beperkte kaart, goed maar niet bijzonder. Toch een aanrader om een keer te eten en je te verbazen over de locatie.

Italiaans georiënteerd voor en ihoofdgerecht met ham garnaal biefstuk Lekkere amuse van bloemkool en tappanade Dessert met ijs chocola en dessert wijn. Uitstekende bediening van leerlingen en zeer smakelijk Aanrader

Fijne plek met bediening die duidelijk nog leren moet, maar wel gastvrij en enthousiast is. Aanrader.

Goed concept. Erg lekker gegeten en supervriendelijke bediening. Het was mooi weer dus we konden buiten in de tuin zitten. Erg fijne ongedwongen sfeer.

Had er meer van verwacht. Gerechten waren wat droog, weinig smaakvol. Bediening meer dan uitstekend.

Verrassend goed eten, heel divers menu en een zeer vriendelijke (en nette) bediening, waarvan een aantal de kneepjes van het vak nog aan het leren zijn. Alles is netjes en schoon, veel te zien aan beelden en schilderijen. Maar, vooral het eten heeft mij erg verrast. Vaak loop ik langs de Kloosterkeuken, maar nooit bedacht echt daar te eten. Met geen verwachting, ontzettend verrast!! Ook de prijs is zeer schappelijk, ik zou dit restaurant zéker aanraden!

Les plats proposés semblent tous appétissants. Ce que j’ai choisi était très bien cuisiné, délicieux et plein de saveurs. Le service sympathique. Le lieu est magique ! Je recommande avec plaisir.

Everything from the menu tasted amazing! I was positively surprised with dessert. I am not a fan of licorice but licorice gel that was served with meringue cake was an amazing combination! Wine was delicious! Lovely music on the background. They have a lovely garden that often is quiet so you can enjoy the food and conversation with people that you are with. I can really recommend this place to everyone who likes good food and wants to eat in a cozy environment!

Simply amazing dining experience. The ambience is something different and the food, well, it's heavenly (pun intended). This is one of the best restaurants our beautiful city has to offer. Highly recommended.
