A fantastic café at the beginning of Alkmaar's old town. Quietly located yet centrally located. The super friendly service and the atmosphere, which makes you feel right at home, are truly outstanding. The breakfast offers a wide selection, is incredibly delicious, and is also lovingly prepared. I definitely recommend starting your day here.

Love this place. Perfectly for cozy healthy breakfast, brunch & lunches🥙On the pricey side but oh well, what isn’t nowadays? Super delicious tho! And was really full afterwards. Love the warm soft scones here (not too stiff/dry/hard) and the blue ocean bowl and pink protein bowl wow, works of art!!🎨 The berry smoothie is also delicious! Chai latte, perfect with the foam and every coffee has a matching cookie. The mango smoothie is a bit too sweet but wonderful to sit here. Definitely child-friendly too with various toys! Loved this vibe! You also get a lucky doll with your coffee🪆

Breakfast in Alkmaar was a culinary experience. Fresh pastries with jam and honey, topped off with a fruit dessert. A glass of fresh orange juice, and the perfect start to the day.

Espresso and latte macchiato were delicious: 5 ⭐️, monchou and passion fruit cake were super light and fresh😍: 5 ⭐️. The homemade iced tea wasn't that good; the ginger flavor was very strong and left a burning feeling in your throat: 2 ⭐️. We hope you'll take this tip to heart. The atmosphere is very cozy and relaxed, and the service is friendly and fast! #update 15-7-25: We also had a great lunch here!

There were 2 pastries on the menu for vegan eaters. Really deliciously made. Also Sat on the second floor. You can't see that outside, so my girlfriend was already upstairs and I was waiting outside on the terrace. I think it's a shame that there were almost no dishes for vegetarians, but it was super cozy and atmospheric

I had a toasted avocado with boiled eggs which has no taste or flavor at all!! Also pink protein ball, it was so watery and hard to eat it with a spoon.. lastly the strawberry pancakes which was the best dish of them

A really big recommendation! A very large selection of different products. The food is lovingly prepared, is of very high quality and tastes incredibly good! The service is very on the ball and friendly. We didn't have to wait long. The atmosphere is very cozy and there are even stoov heating pads in case you get cold :) .

Very friendly staff. The place is very beautiful, space is decorated with great care. Unfortunately it took a long time before the lunch was delivered. We thought the food itself was okay, but not really very special. By the way, it was very impressive how the employees could walk up the stairs with trays full every time 🍽

Super cozy coffee place with great outside and inside seating area. It is especially nice on sunny side, then you can sit on the benches in the sun - on rainy days there are also plenty of seats inside. The coffee was a 10/10 and the service was super friendly as well ✨

It's also very nice that there are varying pastries, so you can enjoy a variety. The service is very friendly and you can clearly tell that they are having a great time together. Had cappuccino for the first time this afternoon and ate a passion fruit cheesecake. I think that cheesecake was the tastiest cheesecake I have ever eaten. In addition, the atmosphere was also very quiet, pleasant and relaxed. Definitely come back there.

The atmosphere is nice and cozy, at first you feel very comfortable. Unfortunately, if you sit directly opposite where the food is being prepared, it gets scary. There are different women preparing the food. Not a single person wears gloves and everyone takes turns touching the food with a cleaning cloth. They also touch their hair, their faces and the computer. Every now and then the fingers with something edible from the food bowls are pushed into the mouth. We've been here several times every year, but only now noticed how the food is prepared. So we won't come back.

We love to come there❤️ Always very friendly and welcoming service, also with children. The place is nice, lightened and well designed. The coffe is great. And we absolutely love the kaneel bol.

An absolute insider tip for breakfast lovers! The selection of food is fantastic, from fresh croissants to delicious egg dishes and healthy smoothie bowls. The coffee is perfectly prepared and the atmosphere is super cozy. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive - you just feel welcome here. I will definitely be back and can recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious and relaxed breakfast. There is a small play area for children!

Extremely delicious breakfast and coffee! The breakfast for 2 people is particularly great, as there is a little bit of everything. The store is always very busy, so service sometimes takes a few minutes longer, but everyone was very friendly and in a good mood! Great seating outside and also very nicely decorated inside.

By chance we discovered the beautiful and cozy café, which we used very often during our five-day stay. The Broodjes were super tasty and richly topped. Coffee, cappuccino and latte tasted very good. The staff was exceptionally friendly, especially the boss! We will definitely come back here the next time we visit Alkmaar. Highly recommended!

Very tasty breakfast and good value for money. Nice service staff. Update from August 3, 2024: As good as anything is, the price of water is unacceptable. There are only 0.25 liter bottles for €3.50 each, so €14 per liter of water. That's just way too much. 👎

Very nice coffee in Alkmaar. Drinks are nice and lovingly prepared. Banana pancakes with bacon were very tasty, but the toast with cheese and onions lacked a certain kick.

Really nice, cozy and family-friendly cafe. We had a chai latte, a coffee, a tuna sandwich and a punch. Everything was super tasty and attractively prepared. It's a shame that we were only there on holiday, otherwise we would like to go there more often. I also found it particularly special that the drinks were served with a small lucky charm. Very sweet gesture. We were there on weekdays and sat upstairs. It was very quiet there and not crowded. That was very nice for our little one. Generally very child and family friendly. There is a play area and also a changing table. We were able to fold the stroller and put it in a corner.

Pleasantly tidy and bright atmosphere, comfortable seating inside and outside. Courteous, unobtrusive and friendly service. The pancakes with bacon and banana and pecans were plentiful and very tasty, the coffee was excellent, we took some to take home. The toilets were very clean. Will have breakfast there again before we leave Edit: we had breakfast here again before departure, totally worth it. Unfortunately, the cinnamon rolls were very tasty, but clearly from the day before, so I would have liked to see a discount on them. But otherwise everything was great.
