Stepping Out in Centrum

An average coffee shop, as you'd expect outside of Amsterdam. A menu from 2000-2010. Unfortunately, you won't find Cali strains or crazy hybrids or upper-class coffee here. It's more standard stuff. You have to be careful what you choose.

Beware, it's a rip-off. I paid with a card. Only €10, but my account balance suddenly showed €15, and when I paid, the card reader also said that only €10 would be debited. The weed was good, but there are other good shops that keep the top price. That's why only 2 stars.

Definitely not a welcoming feeling. I asked where I could find an ATM to pay cash instead of pin and the shop worker said “google it” and turned his back. I went a half block down the street and spent my 150euros well appreciated from friendly people.

Really happy to have found this place, my pick for the best coffeeshop in Alkmaar. It feels like a dive bar but it's super clean and staff made it super friendly. Big shout out to Rich for making me feel welcome. This coffeeshop is the right vibe.

Unfortunately it is ignored, I was almost robbed recently and I can't tell my story there because they don't let me explain exactly what happened. If that person wants to know the real story of what exactly happened, whatever the reason, they will probably feel sorry, this is not the first time, the world is getting crazier...

Pre weighted bags and then claiming the place is too busy... obviously an excuse to rip off non-locals, fortunately not all shops in town are like that

Nice and tidy coffee shop, but full of signs with a thousand rules: no tobacco (the bartender also reminds you of this), do not enter and exit the place, if you bring the dog you must stop for a short time... all that's missing is a policeman who rolls joints for you. Not the relaxed atmosphere you expect in coffeeshops. It happens in every way!

Visited here today on a recommendation from a friend. I was pleasantly surprised to see a smokehouse that is open! The service was perfect! And the price list is fine. Oh and the coffee is delicious!!!! Highly recommended. My next visit to Alkmaar will include this shop :)

You can sit comfortably there! Apparently you can also smoke here, but I don't do that. I only come here for a coffee

Very variable in staff and weed quality. Sometimes you get a nice top for €12 or €5, in other cases you get a bag with all kinds of twigs weighed in, but there is no more in it, so you pay way too much for twigs.

Bad quality! depends on who is behind the counter! dude me red hair gives you bags of 5 are the same as bags of 12 euros! a lot of cheating in my opinion.

Stepping out is great value for money, my particular favorite is there Big Tops which is a mellow high you can get 1.5 for €12, its in town centre, they always have live sports on, the staff are all very nice and often frequent the store when not working and most importantly is 300m from my house!
