A cozy restaurant with friendly staff. Delicious dishes with lots of variety and plenty of choice for everyone.

First impression staff that is still too lazy to clear the tables and clean, who have an argument in the kitchen. And that impression did not change when we were there, here they really need a manager who keeps everything on track because there was none so they just did whatever, very unfortunate because it is a really nice place.

Had a delicious uitmijter. Cosy on the terrace especially on Wednesdays then you are just sitting on the market.

After the bike ride we had a bite to eat in Haaksbergen with a cold beer and some snacks, the soup was also very good. Nice staff and quick service

Food is great, place is nice. Come here a few times a year. Last time (Friday) was a bit of a strange experience though. Waiting on a half empty terrace for almost thirty minutes for someone to come and serve us (table 42). Waitress was mainly busy socializing with acquaintances and didn't come our way. It happens once, what does it matter, nice weather and no rush. But then her replacement came and I literally heard her say to the replacement: 'quick handover: table 42 has been there for a while but I haven't been there yet'. That was a WTF moment. So she had seen us, but we're not hip enough to serve before you can go home? And you're not ashamed to say that audibly in our presence? Congratulations on the award for worst waitress of the year! Not too much deduction for the place as a whole, because one bad apple.... but these kinds of experiences lead to no tip and a visit to an alternative the next time in Haaksbergen.

Vandaag op het heerlijke zonnige terras gezeten. Na vriendelijk geholpen te zijn werden onze drankjes gebracht. Helaas struikelde het meisje van de bediening, gelukkig had ze zich niet bezeerd. Wel zaten wij wel volledig onder onze drankjes. Het meisje bood haar excuses aan en dat was het...........niet de vraag of ze nog wat voor ons konden doen, niet de vraag of ze een vergoeding konden bieden in de vorm van bijvoorbeeld een stomerijbon, een consumptie van het huis...... ik vind dat niet echt gastvrij. Het meisje kon er niets aan doen maar had vanuit de kornuiten wel wat meer verwacht......

The chef with the least hair didn't seem to mind, it was a disaster to watch, and if you were even watching, I'm sure you'd rather pass up the food. At every opportunity this gentleman is eating what he prepares, he probably likes it very much, because he almost eats his fingers, enjoying it and licking your fingers. You don't really want to look, but you have to. To make matters worse, he sneezes into his hand. But fortunately there is the tea towel, which comes in handy to wipe his hands dry. Drape a cloth neatly over your shoulder, dip your full finger into the sauce, and then continue with the feast. Put your finger in your mouth and place the pulled chicken rolls on top. Ting, next customer. Horrible, never again the Kornuiten for us.

You are asked to go to the floor below (presumably for convenience for the service) and you are simply no longer served, unlike ordering with the QR code upstairs where the drink was delivered within half a minute. Curious

No idea what the food was like. An absolute record 30 minutes sitting at an uncleaned table. It wasn't busy at all. Didn't see any service at the table and didn't have a drink, let alone lunch. Staff was scrolling around on the phone. The last straw was that someone from the business practically sat next to us on the laptop and took no action. Didn't even ask why we were leaving, probably didn't notice. Really, how blind can you be!!

We thought we would have a nice and fun party for our dear cousin. But the ministry has ruined this for us and also for him. We said something about it twice, but nothing helped. Half of the table was barely served for a drink before we had to say something quickly... the drinks boards were also very poorly taken care of. Staff worked sloppily and were not customer friendly. Next year we will choose a different location.

We dachten een gezellig feestje te vieren met onze lieve neef, maar de bediening was verschrikkelijk. Heb ze er ook een paar keer over aangesproken met niks hielp. De dure borrelplanken waren ook slecht. Volgende verjaardag maar ergens anders gaan vieren met hem.

De Kornuiten is a restaurant in the center of Haaksbergen. The food is good, tasty and well served. I gave the service 3 stars because things did not go as expected in the gluten-free area. Even though we had already indicated our gluten-free wish when making the reservation. In terms of atmosphere, you can enjoy sitting there. Also 3 stars here. We were there on a Sunday, when - as it turned out when we arrived - there is live music. For a restaurant that is just a bit too loud. At our table, at the back of the restaurant, we had difficulty hearing each other.

Chic clean shop. The service is very friendly and even speaks German and English. Food is delicious and there are no long waiting times.

Food was tasty, but portions too small. There were four of us and we were all still hungry after dinner. That's actually not the case when you go out to eat. We certainly said something about it, but beyond "we will pass it on" nothing was done. Shame

The service was mediocre, the waitress was absent, came several times to ask what we wanted to drink, even though it had already been ordered but did not arrive. There was a man who was drunk and fell off the stool... and didn't leave, which was a shame, it wasn't a nice afternoon...

Great spot in the center for a beer

Pijnhoop binnen in de zaak , staat synoniem voor hoe de bedrijfsvoering is, bediening was meer met zichzelf bezig dan de gasten. 2de drankje hebben we ook maar laten schieten. Gemiste kans!

Wat er geserveerd werd was heerlijk. Echter de organisatie was slecht. Koffie en lunchkaart besteld. Komt alleen de koffie. Later weer om lunchkaart gevraagd. Steeds andere bediening. Vriendelijk, maar inefficiënt werken. Drinken besteld, komt als eten op is. Tafel naast ons ideeën dito. Andere tafel vraagt asbak, nooit gekregen. Het was echt niet druk. Ik ga volgende keer naar de buren. Heb me echt geërgerd.

A day in Haaksbergen for the first time. Nice idea of ​​course! We liked this place. We had a free seat to sit, unfortunately the table was still dirty and had not been cleaned. We noticed that several tables were full and not tidy and clean and that no people were sitting at them. We waited 10 minutes until we finally had eye contact with the waiter to order a drink, but there was no menu on the table so we kindly asked for it after which the table was also cleaned. No chance of looking after we got the card to immediately ask what would you like to drink. Once ordered, the drink was only ordered 15 minutes later. In the meantime, we ordered a snack board which was brought a little later with a separate plate of loaded fries. We of course did not know what the board etc would consist of because it was our 1st visit here. After 2 minutes the gentleman came and magically removed the sign from under our arm without any explanation and we saw the sign leave for the neighbors, in our opinion this is incredibly dirty if we had burned our fingers on it and the sign leaves after the neighbors like wrong order who then started eating it. No apology or explanation, but I made my complaint, but nothing was done about it. Right for the last time! Hygiene is paramount, especially with other people's food.

A nice terrace in itself, we thought the food was mediocre. Unfortunately had to ask for the menu twice, tables were not cleared from previous guests. All in all, fine for a drink as far as we are concerned, but we will look further for food next time.

Located in a beautiful spot on the market in the heart of the center. we came to eat a small lunch. The carpaccio, like the croquette, was still frozen. Made a comment about this. Received the answer that the cook was sick and 'someone else' had made it. Just pay the full price. Have not yet received an apology for the poor service.

Lekker eten en een leuke keuze van Twentse streekbieren. De sfeer is gezellig en het personeel is bijzonder vriendelijk

Very fine furnished restaurant in the centre of Haaksbergen. The service was very obliging. Both the starters and the main courses were very good. The portions are a bit large though ;)

Ging eerder dicht dan aangegeven 1:00 in plaats van 2:00 uur. Laatste rondje kon niet meer worden besteld om 0.45 uur. Rondje van de zaak zat er niet in.

Had lunch today at the Kornuiten. Food was fine. Unfortunately it took a very long time each time before we got the drinks. Ordered bitterballen, unfortunately did not receive it.

We gaan altijd graag naar dit café. Gewoon voor een drankje of voor een lekkere lunch of diner.

Meer vegetarische opties op de lunchkaart zouden welkom zijn! :)

Eerst lang Moeten wachten. Na half uurtje liep de bediening goed.

Leuke eettent. Ongedwongen sfeer. Prima bediening. Eten is prima.

Service was slow, maybe understaffed on a wednesday. Food was good.

Het eten is prima, niet bijzonder maar wel lekker. De bediening is vriendelijk, maar zeker niet snel. Vaak én lang met een leeg glas gezeten, het lijkt alsof ze niet wat wouden verkopen. Ook het opnemen van de bestelling duurde lang. Dit zagen we ook bij tafeltjes rondom ons.

Vanmiddag hier gezeten om te lunchen. De lunch was erg simpel, maar prima. Verwacht niet te veel van de gerechtjes.

Beide zoons naar de oppas gebracht om te kunnen gaan lunchen. Veel goede verhalen gehoord over de Kornuiten, ambiance was ook goed. Na een prima welkom en koffie zijn we na zeker een half uur vertrokken zonder maar een lunchkaart te hebben gezien. Niks ten nadele van het personeel, die liep voor twee personen.

Heerlijk gegeten en een prima sfeer. Vriendelijke service

Uitgebreidde kaart met veel heerlijke broodjes.

Eten was prima. Bediening niet erg snel, pas na 10-15 minuten kwam er iemand bij onze tafel. Mensen een tafel verder vetrokken alweer omdat ze simpelweg niet werden geholpen. Toen de wijnglazen leeg waren kwam er niemand langs om te vragen of we nog wat nieuws wilden. Misschien willen ze hier geen geld verdienen?

Gezellig in de zon op het terras. De bediening had een nieuw bestellingssysteem, ze benoemde het in de vorm van een grapje. Leuke zelfspot. Het eten was lekker.
