Lousy! Not for the faint of heart, anyway. The service was good.

Young staff, but very friendly. Price-quality ratio is out of balance. The starter, mussels and mushrooms, was delicious. As vegetarians, we were disappointed. The waitress didn't know what kind of burger it was. It certainly wasn't good. This is probably a restaurant with a chef who hasn't tried vegetarian burgers or anything like that. Try a Beyond Meat burger or one from the vegetarian butcher; it'll open up a whole new world for you. They can also offer vegetarians a variety of options. You can create delicious dishes with it. For the price we spent, we could have had a better meal.

02-11-2025 (50+)! We've never had such a bad meal as at this Bistro! We waited over half an hour for our food. The music kept cutting out. The staff hovered around the bar. While we were there, people arrived after us and then left earlier, which we found strange! All the customers were placed in the back. The front was empty. A glass of cassis, from the bottle, €3.50, which wasn't sparkling. A draft beer, almost €5.00. Mussels starter. There were five of them, covered with cheese in flavorless herb butter. €13.95, and five of them! We had to season the main course ourselves; there was no salt! And then the fried potatoes, which were awful, unpalatable. Just heated up in a package, not the tasty round potatoes with onions you'd normally find in a bistro, but greasy potato wedges from a single Albert Heijn bag. Terribly flavorless herb butter. Albert Heijn is even better. We were gone within an hour and a half. €94.00 lighter. We were still able to file a complaint; we felt ripped off. People, there are so many other bistros out there, just go this one. We'll never come back!

What a delicious meal we had! The meat was wonderfully tender and flavorful. Everything else was also very good. The service was friendly, and the restaurant had a cozy and inviting atmosphere! Thank you for this wonderful evening!

I went here for dinner yesterday, and it was pretty full, which means the place is doing well. It took at least half an hour before we were asked if we wanted drinks. And another fifteen minutes before I got the menu. We had a three-course meal, with a Stokbrook starter with garlic sauce and herb butter. The garlic sauce had a strange aftertaste, as if the chef had dropped a mint in it. My wife had duck for the main course, and I had spare ribs. The duck was a bit dry, and the fat wasn't cooked properly. This resulted in me not being able to eat a quarter of my main course. My spare ribs felt cooked; they fell off the bone, but they had absolutely no flavor. The dessert was good, though; that was my ice cream sundae. You could tell my wife's dessert was almost thawed...so not fresh. The atmosphere is also mediocre; the cupboard is a bit crooked. The ceiling lamp shades are coming loose. The power strips are hanging crooked. The toilet isn't kept clean AND the tables aren't wiped clean, but the paper is simply replaced. Furthermore, a dark-skinned staff member (who also worked the cash register in the evening) is complaining to other guests about her energy level. She took three plates, and a customer handed her a fourth, to which the young woman indicated her energy was a bit low because she'd been walking around a lot. She told the customer, "I'll pick up the rest soon because my energy is low..." You don't want someone like that in a restaurant. Beer prices aren't listed on the menu. But a draft beer is €5.00. I was quite shocked by this. The service from the young blonde woman was truly excellent; I really enjoyed how well she did yesterday (October 25, 2025).

Fantastic! We had lovely service and lots of laughs. We still have a lot to learn, but the atmosphere was great and everyone was trying their best. The food is fantastic for that price! 🥰 Everything was so tasty and carefully prepared. It's a shame we live far away, otherwise we would have come back more often.

Main course: 500g steak - with raw vegetables - baby potatoes Shared between the two of us because it was a lot, but the meat was truly delicious and tender and juicy! Dessert: Vegan Carré and Crème Brulee Vegan Carré was good, crème brûlée was too thick (egg) for us. 🅿️ Free at the door 🚽Clean restroom 📋This restaurant deserves a much better rating than it has!

Beautiful and atmospheric restaurant with very friendly staff. We had a three-course dinner with amuse-bouche and bread and spreads. More than enough. Everything was very tasty. Definitely recommended.

On Sunday evening, September 7th, we had a fantastic meal there. The staff was very friendly and regularly checked on us to see if everything was to our liking and if we needed anything extra. The selection was more than enough for us. My wife thanks us, and we'll definitely be back.

Been there five times now, great restaurant!

Poor quality food and sloooow service even with an almost empty restaurant. Company of 5. Ordered the speciality: Angus Beef Burger. Minced meat was more boiled than fried and was seasoned oddly. If this was ever lovely Angus Meat, they completely ruined it so we doubt the origins! All 3 was like that. Dry and old buns, too... Rest of the orders were not matching in garniture and main serving. Choose somewhere else, the kitchen shows no pride in the servings and insted have +20 dishes. All floor service girls (yes, they were young) were nice and pushed us a lot for buying more drinks during the fatal long wait. Maybe they get percentages?

On holiday in the Achterhoek we ate at this restaurant. What a service and delicious food. We are very enthusiastic. Definitely recommended. And when we are in the Achterhoek again we will definitely come back.

A big mess. Wrong sauce with the food, just not instead of alcohol-free, chef drinking beer behind the bar.

We came for the 4 course menu via social deal. The only downside is that it took a bit longer than we are used to, which meant that our child could not hold on and got very upset. We went home after the intermediate course, but the staff still prepared the dishes and added many different desserts and extra baguette and herb butter. Really great service! Once home, the food was still hot and neatly packed.

Ben hier laatst wezen eten met mijn vriendinnen en we vonden het heerlijk, we zijn hier met een goed gevulde buik weggegaan. Personeel was heel vriendelijk en hielp erg goed als we vragen hadden. De wachttijden vielen erg mee en het eten en drinken hadden we erg snel pluspunten dus! En het eten was natuurlijk verrukkelijk. We hebben genoten en komen zeker terug!

Monday evening we were welcomed very friendly by a young lady. We ordered the 3-course menu with wine. Everything was delicious and was served with sufficient breaks in between and in good portions. The wine was not cheap (White House Wine 1/2 liter €.12.00) but caressed our tongue. It is a cozy and pleasant restaurant. We will definitely come back.

Worthless owner, bad service, broken toilet seat, food that was ordered was not served, soft drinks that were not fizzy, dirty dusty decoration and when you ask where your food is the owner says you should have raised your hand.... erm sorry it was ordered an hour ago your staff should take care of that not the customers themselves. And when you ask for your money back that was paid in advance that is not possible. In short, with an empty stomach back home without money. In short, never go here! Tried again after 2 years. Toilet still broken. Starter delicious. Main course terrible. Pork tenderloin dry and very sour taste. Was asked if it tasted good, I honestly said I didn't like it. The chef/owner comes in all upset that we had to leave the building. In short, nothing has changed in a positive way. Certainly in a negative way.

Had to wait a very long time for the food. The wine was a bottom in the glass, the mushroom starter was cold inside. The salad was served after a long stay in the fridge, the entrecote had a strange aftertaste and was full of sinews. The dessert made us decide to leave and not eat it, it was just spoiled!!!! We had a delicious meal. The service was very friendly and attentive. The food was really sufficient. Furthermore, some tidying up is needed (toilets, entrance), it is all a bit old and worn. Sometimes it's small things like having the same set of cutlery at the table for all guests. One thing I didn't like was that the bill stated that 3 cups of coffee were charged 12.75.😯 I have never paid that for a cup of coffee before.

Hier geweest middels een leuke actie. Eten redelijk, we hadden een 4 gangen diner. Aangezien ik geen soep lust en geen andere optie mocht uitkiezen, deze gang overgeslagen. Vervolgens werd er moeilijk gedaan over de drankjes toen ik wilde bestellen. Het meisje gaf aan : Er is al genoeg geschonken, hadden allemaal 2 drankjes op. Er staat toch echt onbeperkt drinken vermeld! Stel dan een limiet maar dit kan echt niet. Vervolgens gaf ik aan dat ik de 2e gang en ook het dessert niet hoefde, moest er overlegd worden of ik dan alsnog een drankje mocht. Echt niet klant vriendelijk.

It's a nice location, but it's not all there, for example a door that is almost impossible to open and menus that are almost falling apart. The beer was almost half a year out of date and the coke came from a large bottle that had clearly already been opened. The gratinated mussels came out of a jar, the acid could still be tasted, and floated in the dish. The porterhaus meat was not available. We didn't dare have dessert. Certainly not worth repeating.

We were with a group. Baguette basket, baguette was dry. Various starters, these were beautifully presented and were good. Main course T-bone steak was good, Stagecoach steak skewer good, rest of meat very dry. Definitely not good value for money. Fried potatoes, some black, fried so hard you couldn't even pierce them with a fork and as greasy as clay. Fries were greasy. There was no potato in it, just fat. Dessert was good. Service very friendly. Cutlery was not the same, no place setting was the same. And when we got home, all clothing including underwear had to be washed because of the smell of frying oil.

Verschrikkelijk slecht. Beneden alle peil evenals de bediening. Vroeger was het een aanrader (wellicht nu een andere uitbater?)Dochter had spareribs. kennelijk opgewarmd in plastic zak. Werd geserveerd met grijs vettig schuim ertussen. Bediening hierop aangesproken. Gaf geen reactie. We gaan best wel vaak uit eten, maar dit restaurant (??) is een afrader.

The service was super good, very nice boy who served us. Very neat and patient. The food was also delicious, nothing to complain about. But seriously!!! That cook, what a terrible man! Constantly rips off his hard-working staff. shouts things like are you that stupid or are you being stupid!? can't you think!? Etc. This creates a very unpleasant atmosphere, especially because there is an open kitchen. You just notice that the staff is walking on their toes. It's a shame that such a terrible man is in charge of this hardworking staff. He treats the staff completely disrespectfully, so that even we as guests sit at the table with curling toes. Ww hebben dit jaar er 5 x gebruik gemaakt van het social deal diner Wij waren super tevreden. Natuurlijk zijn er wel wat dingetjes die beter kunnen. Bv dat het lang duurt. DRIE uur aan tafel voor eten waar niets positiefs over te melden valt. Vier dames in de bediening die vooral goed zijn in gasten negeren. Tapas plate: een paar hapjes. Blini's: kun je van je bord blazen. Gebakken geitenkaas: bezweken onder de sladressing. Tournedos: niet mals. Spare ribs: gortdroog. Rib eye steak: dun en vet. Dame blanche: goedkoop vanille ijs. Cheesecake: een klomp onbestemd gebak. Bakje salade: komt zo uit de emmer van de groothandel. Je moet zelf afrekenen bij de kassa: duurde weer een kwartier door gehannes en gestuntel van bedienend personeel.

Ate here yesterday. The beer battered champ was delicious, as was my partner's steak. But the fried potatoes were very greasy and hard, as well as the pork tenderloin medallion with bacon were very dry and almost no bacon to be seen. The girls at the service did their best, but were criticized before our eyes. Not recommended to come back here again. It wasn't worth it for us to spend so much money on it. The restaurant looks nice.

Also the fried potatoes were a mixture of 2 different types. The sauce on the meat was chunky and seemed to have been microwaved. Mushrooms were virtually impossible to find. Beforehand I had vitello. There should also be grilled tuna on my plate, according to the menu, but there was none. Asked said there were pieces in there. I didn't see them. Was also expecting a piece. My daughter had a beef carpaccio. Grilled kernels, there were none. Apparently savings are being made on some of the more expensive ingredients. On site it appears that the menu shows that 36.50 is quite the normal asking price. So this is also stated misleadingly. People write on social deal that you can park next to it. Please note for 1.5 hours. If you don't want to risk a fine, you have to walk a bit. Not a problem in itself, but don't write... I do not recommend this restaurant to ANYONE!

Jammer, het beste was de bediening, en ons gezelschap, dat zegt al genoeg. Tafels zo dicht bij elkaar geplaatst dat er voortdurend tegen je stoel werd aangelopen. Een fles wijn, waar al 1 glas uit was, een menu dat maar deels werd uitgeserveerd. Bestek en glazen bij elkaar geraapt, niet gelijk... Zeker geen aanrader, niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Onbegrijpelijk dat het zo vol zat.

Ate here last Christmas, but I am now writing a review. I would like to warn others about this place. We had to wait a long time for the food; Very very long. While everything around us slowly emptied. Then got soup worth about 6-7? euros which really wasn't worth it for that price. Also, all the cutlery was a collected mess. The main course wasn't great either; I myself had a crazy one? The sauce did not match my salmon and the vegetables were not great either. But worst of all was later at home; one of our table companions vomited from eating here in the evening. I would never, ever go here again and everyone advises against it!

Wait 20 minutes for the 1st drink.... the drink gets eye contact after 60 minutes no managers only young people who have no idea how the catering industry works!!!! starter to scream chicken in beer glass more batter as chicken very dry.... intermediate course vitello tonato with shrimps couldn't be thrown away, given back. Then use the main course medium steak which is a shoe sole variant with stroganoff sauce as a true gypsy sauce is not possible given back no excuse kitchen cannot do anything about it. Skipped desserts and left for a terrible mess without respect and appreciation where the chef thinks he can cook what my 80-year-old mother-in-law can do even better. Delivery is perfect. The side dishes were good, but the meat was really inedible. Completely cooked and that for tenderloin. Gray and tough. Never again for us.

Voor het eerst via Social Deal een 3 gangenmenu besteld. De bediening was erg slecht, traag, weinig communicatie. Stond alleen maar jong personeel en ervaring/ helikopter vieuw ontbrak duidelijk)! Het eten was niet geweldig en duurde erg lang tot de volgende gang kwam, ook het tempo van het opnemen van drankjes was onder de maat! Zeker niet aan te raden!!!
